Honestly, for the 2 years I was there it was okay. They want to say it’s a luxury apartment but really it’s just okay student housing. The security staff is rude… I was yelled at for my boyfriend sending me flowers cuz “ it wasn’t their job” to accept them. Which that’s their only job. That’s not the only staff member who actually yelled at me for not doing something wrong or out of the ordinary. The heat went out and I had to sleep in 45 degrees and they didn’t reach out to fix this till morning. When I asked for money back on rent I did get it, but that could’ve been a huge lawsuit and they just assumed we would all be “fine” I guess. It was fine for 2 years but I’d recommend normal housing to anyone who could. Also the price is outrageous a $3000 apartment( $1500/person) can buy soooooo much more in downtown than what they offered.

In a great location near places like Starbucks and Chipotle. FOB Key access. 24 hour security. Discounted parking with Millennium Garages. Electronic apartment locked doors. Cute gym. Nice study center. In unit washer and dryer. Personal room with a full size bed and closet. Roommate requests / matching. Maintenance fixes any issues in a timely manner. Friendly staff. Do have to check in guests, however I have never had an issue - easily got 9 guests cleared by filling out a form. When I have had larger issues staff has done their best to resolve the issue as needed.

I have lived here the past few years and it has been such a dream. When you move from a different state, it is hard to find a place to call home so easy as well as navigate through a new city. The distance from here to all trains is so convenient. You only walk a few blocks and you’re close to numerous restaurants and stores. I love it here, I will always recommend it to anyone I come across. I don’t have any qualms, especially with an office full of kind, supportive and willing to help people. They make you feel important and they don’t dismiss your issues. It is a very safe building with so many amenities. If you are unsure, don’t be. It’s worth it.

Wishing I could give zero stars but this review will not allow it! First and foremost this building prides itself on making a profit off renters as well as providing the worst customer service I have experienced at an apartment complex. Sneaking in fees that were NOT gone over properly in the move-in process. While living at infinite you will notice a lot of your hopes of a normal living environment to fall short and not be attained at this complex. Walking into the building you are greeted by security guards who are unfriendly, inpatient with checking in guests, as well as making a fuss when you need to get a package. Making myself and my guest feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Infinite also leaves out the fact upon signing the lease that you are only allowed a maximum of 3 guests. This is a huge detail that would make many reconsider that they purposely leave out! Infinite staff is an absolute nightmare to correspond with, taking days to reach back with the dilemma going unsolved more often than not. Truthfully the staff has to be the worst part of the building. Leaving renters out to dry, never going the extra mile when it is easily deemed necessary. They are worried about collecting their checks and leaving on time and that is it. Staffing does not care about the individuals needs and will swap your planned roommates and or floor plans at a drop of a hat if it makes life easier for them. Infinite will do nothing to accommodate certain needs and if they do it is a false promise that will show itself time and time again for not only myself but many others in the building. The only solid part about this exierence was the building layout with an even better location! Sad it has to be run by such lazy, unreliable employees. I hope management would step in and realize how many unhappy renters that have left this building feeling uneasy and ripped off! PLEASE FIND NEW MANAGEMENT! Save yourself the time, effort, money, and mainly STRESS that will come when dealing with the leasing office staff and live elsewhere.

This correspondence is to advise you to never rent at the Infinite Chicago Apartments. My son is a tenant there while attending college downtown. In mid-March when the pandemic hit, college switch to on-line classes and with the high number of cases in Chicago, we brought him home to the suburbs to avoid possible virus exposure. I immediately spoke with management about paying a penalty to break the lease as it was clear that he would not be returning for the remainder of the lease. Infinite personnel advised subleasing would be the way to go and it should not be a problem renting his room in June and July, but May would be difficult.I remained in constant contact with Infinite and paid May rent and nothing occurred in May which forced me to pay June rent. With a sub-lease not looking likely, I asked about waiving the last month’s rent as my son has not lived there in almost 3 months and I have paid the rent each month. I was just advised by Scott Manning, Vice President of Operations, that they will not waive the last month rent. This is one of the poorest business responses I have ever encountered, having worked my whole life dealing with clients and doing what is reasonable. I REPEAT WITH DO NOT RENT FROM THIS APARTMENT BUILDING OR ANY BUILDING ASSOCIATED WITH CA MANAGEMENT SERVICES.

The staff has always been helpful and friendly, the amenities available are so convenient, living in the Loop has been wonderful and exciting, and the community is diverse and welcoming. This is my first apartment in Chicago and I am staying here over the summer while doing an internship. The location of Infinite is perfect for anyone who wants to be in the middle of the city. Close to anything you might want or need including target, countless food options, and more. Apartments are designed well with modern appliances. Laundry right in the apartment and a generously sized kitchen and living area. All in all Infinite has been a great place to live in a great location for a decent price.

It has a barbell, which is pretty awesome and uncommon for one in a residential building. The WiFi is also good, I dont have any problems with it.

I was hesitant to sign on when I saw the prices, but after shopping around, its really the best bang for your buck for anyone looking downtown. If you work or go to school near the Loop, this is exactly what you need. In the heart of downtown, there is no where else that you can get this level of convenience and service.I was just a block away from the Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, and Brown lines, a block away, and walking distance from any of the downtown Universities, the Courthouses, and the shops on State Street.Theyve been great with work orders (I have submitted a few over the time Ive been here and they usually get it done the same day). After living in quite a few locations downtown, I can confidently say this is one the best options for anyone looking to work/go to school in Chicago.

I wouldnt give this place a single star if I had the chance. They only gave me 24 hours to move my room into a different apartment in the same building. I was in the middle of my finals and I had no time to move. They told me I was moving a month in advance but didnt say where I was moving to until 24 hours before I was required to physically move my things. To add to the difficulties, they did not provide a moving crew until my fourth request. The room I moved into was not clean when I arrived. The apartments are no longer new. There were vomit stains on the carpet and the bathroom was beyond disgusting. They did not clean the apartment I was moved to. I had to move heavy furniture across the building, reorganize my things, and clean the new apartment. It took a lot of time out of my day and placed even more stress on me than I was already experiencing. If you are a busy student/working professional I wouldnt recommend this place because they expect your schedule to be their schedule. You must move when they say move, even if theyve only given you 24 hours notice and you have fifty other things that are far more important to do. Think of Infinite management as a screaming child that requires your full attention and patience because they cannot do the simple things themselves; like tying their shoes and so on. Infinite management is the same way! You really have to be patient and understand that the staff isnt qualified or intelligent. Infinite management doesnt understand the nature of compromise and that people live lives outside of their leasing office. They dont respect schedules or prior commitments. You have to meet their demands on their terms or not at all. They walk in when they want and they demand you leave your apartment whenever they want to. Also, do not expect management to plan things/give prior notice. They are not competent enough for this, nor do they care enough about their tenants to do so.When you sign the lease you select a floor plan, but not a apartment. The apartment can change, and THE FLOOR PLAN CAN CHANGE. If they decide to randomly move you across the building they can move you into a different floor plan. According to them it isnt necessary to have a justified reason to move a person from one apartment to the next. I am obligated to include this in my review. For example, I signed for a 2 bedroom because I didnt want to live with a lot of people. They put me in a four bedroom and told me it was fine because there is extra square footage. I dont care about the square footage, I care about sharing a small kitchen with four other girls. If you sign a specific lease because of a personal preference you have, remember that that PREFERENCE WILL NOT BE RESPECTED AT INFINITE. Remember they are not competent and they do not care about tenant comfort or uphold the agreements understood in the lease. They want to make money off of master leases with other universities. If you rented a unit, it isnt occupied as it would be in a normal apartment. They will rent it again and move you across the building to accommodate the person who rented the apartment you already signed for and live in.It doesnt make much sense but it is part of their incompetence and disregard for legal rights and tenant privacy. They move everyone in the building multiple times a year. If youre a busy person Infinite isnt a good place for you. They provide no stability or consistency. There isnt even a grace period of adjustment. If you live here expect to move your things across the building once every three months. Also, they wont move you if you end up with not such a great roommate. They only move people into different apartments if there is a financial benefit to Infinite. They dont move tenants to make them more comfortable in their space. They will tell you otherwise before signing, but will refuse to resolve roommate issues after you sign the lease. At that point they know there is nothing you can do about the people you live with.

First off, the management team is the worst I have ever encountered. Maintenance could not care less about any problems you have. For example, I reported that my sink was leaking, they cam up, looked at it, and said, and I quote: Just put a bowl under it. Mail is never delivered to the right box. Their no smoking policy is a complete joke as all of the halls constantly reek of it.The worst part of all is their joke of a roommate matching. For a year I had to live with people I ended up hating because they partied all day, every day. And boy, did they love their weed.Infinite also charged me for the smoke damage that my roommates caused.DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER LIVING HERE!!!

This building isnt any different from a college dorm. Infinite employees enter any apartment without notice. Apartments are not clean. Once every few months they slip a notice under your door ordering you to move within 24 hours. They dont care for roommate matching, and wont care to move you if you experience problems. There are hidden fees strategically shown to residents after they sign the lease. The apartment is overpriced and in poor condition, especially in communal areas. Expect inflexible leasing terms and overcrowded living conditions. Residents can only have a guest over two nights at most, before being charged a fee. There is a 24 hour 711 opening on the ground floor that is likely to be a haven for homeless people. There is a 24 hour 711 on Wabash and Adams a block north that is a crime magnet. I myself have almost be robbed twice on that corner alone. I expect crime rates in the area will rise. Do not expect to feel safe upon leaving the building. The management is argumentative, overemotional and defensive. They are likely to yell at you if have issues/complaints. Despite the poor management, Infinite has wonderful doormen and cleaning staff.

*Recently discovered that staff members brought tenants into the unit without any notice to current occupants. This tenant is being forced to move out of their unit and into another, and my unit happened to be this unit. Management even offered that tenant to take my room and trash my stuff as they liked. Im here for another month, they have poor management and are leeches; this place really makes me sick. Here is a review I posted a week ago:Locked in to a 1 year lease that ends in a month or so. The prices are way too high for what theyre offering, you could live in River North with a roommate for the same price as what youre getting here with 3 or 4 roommates. A little south, cheaper and higher value for what you pay for; same with a little further up north. On the lower floors (under 6), the construction/train/garbage trucks are so loud you basically dont ever have good sleep if youre a light sleeper (garbage trucks can run any time, even at 3 or 4 in the morning). Management team/staff has also changed multiple times already, everything is still disorganized and messy even after a year in business.Other things to keep in mind: wifi is cut off sometimes, you essentially have to purchase your own router to make things work. This is essentially not your personal apartment, it is a dorm and money-sucker for students who live by here. Management doesnt budge with anything at all, everything is there way, there is no flexibility whatsoever. Ive also heard of people negotiating leases to lower prices, and breaking down their leases to a month-by-month basis - terribly disorganized, desperate, and corrupt. Thermostat is messed up and often locked so we cant alter the temperature, non-soundproofed windows, there have been times where heat has not been turned on for the building when it was 57 degrees.0 stars if I could.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!This is the worst option for any student living in downtown Chicago. The only reason they have any reviews over 1 star is because they bribe the residents with free meals and prizes for writing a nice review. The management staff is unwilling to help resolve any issue you have and frankly very rude.Plan on keeping most of your belongings in the living room due to the ridiculously small rooms here. It is over priced living and the designer furniture they claim you will receive, is not designer at all. The company that makes the furniture also has a one star on all review sights online. This student housing is taking advantage of students with an extremely well written lease that goes as far as saying that they can sue you if you dont stay in your room but continue to pay the rent.I highly advise you stay any where but here. I would have rather lived off the 95th/Dan Ryan stop on the redline then this place. Please read all reviews here before you sign your lease. Not one person is over exaggerating their experiences, except for the ones with two stars and over just cause some students wanted to score a free meal.

I have had horrendous year dealing Infinite [2015-2016]. I am writing this review as a warning to other students or prospective tenants thinking of signing a contract with this company. Believe me, I would like to use a few choice, colorful adjectives to describe my feelings toward the company that operates this property. I would not recommend it to anyone, and if you ask people who have lived there in the last three years they will tell you the same. I wish I had done that before moving in. You will have no internet most of the time and slow internet some of the time. No well informed person would pay what a room costs, so subleasing out of a bad roommate situation will be impossible. Infinite staff will enter your room while you are there and while you are not there. They dont care. You will have no privacy. You will be charged many unexplained extraneous fees throughout your lease, and especially so at move out. I was in fact Billed $75.00 for leaving an unopened roll of paper towels in the hallway for a hall mate to pick up, among other move out fees totally almost a thousand dollars. I assure you I had left no marks on the walls, damaged nothing, not used the oven, etc.. I implore you to look into living anywhere else. Get a place at the nearby hostel if you are in a pinch and keep looking. As a former tenant I assure you not living here and avoid this pitfall is in your best interest.

Dont live here. They advertise that they have free wifi for the whole building. I have talked to management a countless number of times to get it fixed. There seems to be a new manager every time I go in the office (not a good sign). The most recent manager informed me that its simply not possible to have open Wifi in the city, even though it is include in the lease I signed. Theres absolutely no storage space in the kitchens, I have resorted to storing things under my bathroom sink. I live in a 4 bed 2 bath. The bathroom is bigger than my bedroom. Mail is always put in the wrong mailboxes. At the beginning of the year they didnt even have the address registered with the US post office, so I couldnt get any mail. Overall extremely disappointed. When I signed my lease I was promised a luxury apartment, they should in no way advertise these as luxury apartments. You can easily find something much nicer for the same price. When you think about it between my 3 other roommates we are paying about $5600 a month for this garbage! Do not recommend for anyone, unless you have so much money you are trying to give it away.

If you are looking at this place, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Waste of the amount I pay for and Ive talked to many people that lived here and they had said horrible things about it. Wifi is super slow, goes out at times. Its good for location and furnished but the one main issue is MANAGEMENT, they are horrible. I have had nothing but bad experience with them. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, they give everyone different prices and tell people different things. They are in the process of trying to change and make it a better environment. The building has its problems but what building/student housing wont? Its the management office team that is the problem. They dont notice you about new people moving in, they change rooms last minute. There are papers every where in the building saying that we would get an email if we were getting new roommates but NOPE, nothing. I had been woken up at 8 am because of the cleaning crew. Then someone moves in at 11, Im not mad that I have a new roommate (great!) BUT its the fact that they didnt even give me a heads up. For a while, I was under a room and moved to another room and they never switched my name over until the security guards told me and I had to email them and demand them to switch my name. Ive been here since August 16th, I signed a 12 MONTH lease unfortunately and they are not letting me stay the full 12 months. Meaning, they are making me pay for 12 months and Im allowed to live here 11 1/2 months. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, they dont care about the tenants at all. Issues are brought to them but it has only been worse as time goes by and I can say this because I have been living here for 10 months.

Their move in hours were rigid and they were not willing to make arrangements. They reneged on their promise to give us a referral bonus. The worst experience of all was sending in our rent payment. Due to high turnover, there was no consistent contact person. We sent numerous emails and never received a response. We finally were contacted by them days before rent was due in full for the whole summer and told there was no flexibility and we must send checks immediately or we would lose our apartment. These are just a few examples of what you can expect from Infinite management. This is a warning to look for a more established apartment nearby. My sink was broken and leaking Oct. - Feb. So many of the residents were angry with the building administration, the staff was immediately defensive, so dealing with any small issue gave me that walking-on-eggshells feeling. What I thought would be a slightly expensive splurge rental to live in a newly renovated building in the south Loop turned into a very costly mistake, and dealing with simple maintenance spoiled the experience.

This is my second and final year living at Infinite Chicago. While my time leaving here there have been some positives and negatives.First positive is the maintenance staff being first class people in general. They are always cleaning the building. In addition, they are very responsive on fixing things up.Second positive is this year having a WAY better Internet. At least this year they learned that every unit MUST have their own internet. Should of done this last year with everyone using the same Internet. But at the same time, its rather late than sorry.Third thing is the security staff is always on their game. They make sure the place is safe. Those people are helpful toward everyone at Infinite as a whole.Fourth positive thing is this year Infinite Chicago added vending machines in the Business Lab and the weight room.Fifth thing is they always have events. They make sure about medical insurance and other events in the Chicagoland Area.Sixth good thing is Infinite Chicago is fully furnished. It has free cable, free screen television. In addition, it has a washer and dryer inside of each apartment. Furthermore, it has furniture and beds provided for each resident.Seventh thing is the improvement on management and Infinite Staff FINALLY!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!!! :D This building has new management. Please keep Marta, Jordan, Tyler, Officer Price, Terrance, Sloan and Jeremy.Final positive is that all of the CTA Train Lines and Buses are in the Heart of Loop Downtown Chicago. You can go to OHare Airport, Midway Airport and Union Station to catch Metra-Amtrak Stations. At the same time there are some negatives at Infinite Chicago.First one is even though it is exciting to see half of this building with Kendall College Students this year, it feels like a college dorm. It is cool if you are in undergrad. But a person like myself, I am in graduate school. Therefore, it is very difficult and hard at times to have my space with peace and quite.Second thing is even though you are trying to get things done with school and work in your unit management comes knocking on your dorm multiples every week-every other week. I understand it is your job to make sure all residents are safe, but overdoing it will be too much.Next negative thing is for Infinite Chicago having a CURFEW on the 16th Floor Rooftop. It needs to be extended to Midnight or 1am during midterms and finals week each semester. That is in the Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters. This will allow more people to study in the building and not just only relying on the 2nd floor Business Center. The other thing is now Infinite Chicago has put a new rule in regards of guest. You can bring no more than three people. Also, you cant have the guest staying more than 2 nights every month. Please extend the guest policy to six people and having guest 5 days each month. Also not having the control of the Air Conditioner and Heater in units. This sucks because it is controlled by the whole entire building. This is Crazy!!!!!Final negative thing is the walls in units, business lab center, fitness center and throughout rest of the building has a lack of Sound Proof Walls. It is hard to study and sleep because people are too loud and very disrespectful. I know this building is a national landmark but there are some ways to make accomdations for the future residents. At the same time, I dont mind the police screns, the train running all the time and even the fire truck screns. It just too much Uncalled For sounds inside of the building.End of the day there are some good and bad things about Infinite Chicago. It is a perfect place for undergraduate students for the most part. Since I am past that stage my time living here is almost done. Thanks for the memories 2014-2016!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!Pros:Location, nice furniture.Cons:1.Noise level is ridiculous. CTA runs every 5 minutes and its loud as hell.2. Management sucks. After I signed the lease, email response disappeared. They also messed up the apartment we originally signed for. We had to move to a different unit.3. Only one elevator works. They are not fixing it anytime soon.4. My room is either hot as hell or cold as hell. Every time my roommates adjust the temperature, I basically have to move to the living room. The vent is huge in my room and the airflow is crazy.5. The heat went out 2 times in 2 weeks. I would wake up cuz its 55 degrees in the room.6. The toilets arent very good. The water flow is very limited.7. The water tastes like XX. I have to buy bottled water cuz I cannot stand the taste.8. You dont really get what you pay for. For 1400/m per person I expect more than the shitty apartment I have right now.9. One last thing, the internet does not work or extremely slow.Thank god Im only staying here for 3 months. I will avoid this place at all cost. Seriously, walk away.

Well lets see where do I begin? I was excited to live in Infinite before Move in day, my roommate was there before me and said that they lost her file and had to search for it, she texted me and said got my keys! I was excited to hear that because I was on my way to get mine! Well turns out the guy checking me in handed me a envolope with a room that wasnt the one they sent me on the email, so I asked who are my roommates? He said one moment, I waited and turns out they randomly put me in a room with 3 other guys who I didnt know, I said thats unacceptable that wasnt the email that I received about a week before moving in, I told them they need to make it right because I had to resign my lease to live with this roommate, well the general manager understood and did everything she could to make it work, after 8 hours waiting for our apartment they finally gave a temporary apartment and that we couldnt unpack that we had to move out within 2 weeks! What type of person wants to move twice in 2 weeks? Well we ended up doing that and everyday me and my roommate would go down to management to ask when our offical room would be ready, nobody knew not even the general manager, at first we thought she was really nice but she didnt seem ethousiastic to see us everyday, well Im sorry you guys messed up! The two weeks passed and we finally got our keys to our offical room, me and my roommate walked in and the room was a complete mess! Chipped paint, scratches, burned spots under the sink, shower with dirt inside it, rooms were dirty, numerous things wrong with it, I went down to management and they told me okay we can send someone to clean it, well nobody came and we were stuck with it! Oh also they said they upgraded us from a 3x2 to a 2x1 which was little hardly a upgrade at all, it was a small area and the rooms were on top of each other! No privacy at all really! I thought to myself why did I just waste this money?! Another thing is that it showed that every room had a glass shower door and what we had was nothing but a rod for a shower curtain? I went down to management and told them and they said well our GM is ordering some so email her if you want one. So you want me to pay for something that I had at home that I thought I didnt need to bring? Okay......on top of everything What type of management puts residents in a dirty apartment? Especially paying over $3000 for the summer lease too? I thought it was very unprofessional! Everyone in management should be replaced if they want full capacity. The only upside to Infinite is the security officer at night! She is so friendly! At least someone is friendly in that building. If you want unprofessional people handling your rent, maintainer walking in at anytime, Internet not working or even dirty apartments then sign a lease here, if not find a better place to live like Buckingham or Dwight Lofts at least there they have professional people working......

Do not sign for a lease here. I would give this pathetic excuse of an apartment complex zero stars if possible. I moved in January and have had nothing but problems since day 1 of my six month lease. I cannot wait to leave here.-Unprofessional management, had problems with the lease (gave us the wrong room than what was signed for in the lease) without any sort of notification. It took threat of legal action to get any kind of restitution.-The internet is slow and spotty at best. It will go out randomly at any part of the day, sometimes for hours. The wi-fi they advertise is non-existant, a personal router is absolutely required if you want wireless. Constant complaints from the entire building since day 1, and nothing has been done, its actually gotten worse.-They try to take advantage of students/international students for not understanding their tenant rights and send letters requiring you to move to a different room (hence aforementioned lease problems, I read over it twice and knew more about the lease than the previous GM/asst. GM)-Any issues brought up to the office (anyone incl. Management) goes unto deaf ears. They simply ask for a room number or just tell you theres no problem and youre mistaking.-The fire alarm goes off atleast once a week, sometimes more. Ive never seen anything like it, and again management does nothing to fix the problem. There are far better alternatives to this apartment complex, I recommend you look elsewhere. For being less than a year old, this place is one of the biggest jokes of a business Ive ever seen.

Dissatisfied. Despite the high monthly price, tenants cannot control the heat, conditioning, wireless internet, who they live with and the length of time they are allowed to reside in the apartment they signed for before being moved to a second apartment in the same building. Cheers.

I was fined 60 bucks for leaving stray hair on the bathroom sink! Have never seen a place in my life that makes their tenants do the turnaround cleaning for the next customer. I was penny pinched the entire experience, nobody stay here
