I made my reservation on Monday the 30th of December 2019 to stay from the 13th to the 17th of January. I canceled the following Friday 5 days later on the on the 3rd of January. I was charged the full amount up front. I called 4 times to ask for a refund. On the 4th call (today the 13th of February) I was informed that I had not received due to the cancellation was outside their cancellation policy. Which reads as...Upon reservation, should you decide to cancel or modify for any reason, a fee of 10% of the total amount of your stay will be charged. If cancelled or modified between 21 to 30 days prior to the day of check-in, you will be billed 50% of the total charge of your stay. If cancelled or modified less than 21 days prior to the day of check-in, you will be billed the full amount of your stay. This is the craziest policy Ive ever heard. I never would have made the reservation if I knew of this policy.
Our location was great and building nice. Our unit had splattered red paint all over one wall and floor area. Carpet stained. Missing drawer in bathroom. Futon busted with screws sticking out on the side. But what really upset me was the failure to provide a pack and play that was stated in agreement and confirmed morning of reservation. So my husband and I had to locate a store get a taxi and was told they would reimburse me for. I called probably five times in an hour to get this solution so my infant had a safe place to sleep.
I would not trust this company at all. I tried to make a reservation through Expedia (they have very good reviews on Expedia, obviously fake) and then when I tried to make arrangements for check in, I got bounced around to two different answering services and told I had to wait 24 hours for my reservation confirmation. 12 hours later, they canceled my reservation, claiming they had been advised to do so because their financial person claimed there was fraudulent activity on the card I used to book the room. Pretty sure THEY are the frauds.
PLEASE READ ENTIRE COMMENT, IT MIGHT SAVE YOU A LOT OF GRIEF. My son allergies to keep him sick the entire time we were there due to unsanitary conditions . Most unsanitary conditions Ive been in for some time. My wife slept in the chair and my children slept on the sofas. The room was nasty and bathrooms were filthy. The cleaning person came and without washing hands grabbed the dishes from the dishwasher and placed in cabinets, to make room for dirty dishes left in the sink. Cleaning person cleaned floors and bathrooms and counters with same towel. She made beds without changing linen. I had to pull the linen off and change. Once she saw me doing this, she decided to finally help replace the sheets. Markings on walls throughout and some markings looked like blood, bed was broken, dirty towels in washer and on sinks, floors were filthy. My wife cleaned the window seals herself and sliding glass doors leading to balcony. HERES THE KICKER, THEY OFFERED ME $100 FOR OUR INCONVENIENCE,SO I THOUGHT. THEY CALLED ME INSTEAD OF EMAILING ME LIKE THEY WE PREVIOUSLY. THE REASON FOR THAT WAS TO NOT LEAVE A PAPER TRAIL. WHAT THEY REALLY WANTED AND ASKED ME TO REMOVE THE POST. Its just awful that they are more concerned about the money instead of your HEALTH. These pictures hopefully are clear enough for you. Beware of this company, please.
Do yourself a favor, and stay somewhere else. Between a VERY dirty apt, food in the pullout sofa, pubic hair all over the bathroom, dishes with food all over them put back into the cabinets, and staff telling us theyd come to help at 12, 1, 2:30, 3:30, leaving clean things by the door and then saying they were stolen.....should I keep going? Or is that enough?
