There are simply not enough nice things to say about the property manager, Juaria - shes always kind, helpful, and communicative. She is absolutely the best.

Juaria is the best. She made it very easy to move in and set up parking and internet. Would highly recommend.

Freeman has been so incredibly helpful with my move, going out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly. He keeps the building looking great and I really appreciate all of his help and hard work!

Melanee has made Solstice feel like home to me. She is the most warm and friendly and wonderful human being, and I always feel so well taken care of by her. I live alone, and its such a comfort to know she is right downstairs if I need her. Truly cant say enough about her, shes amazing!

Our child moved into the Solstice last March as everything started to shut down and the pandemic began in earnest. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, the building is beautiful, the amenities like the gym and lounge areas are upscale and very nice, the in-unit washer and dryers are huge and incredibly convenient, the resident portal makes it easy to pay bills and request maintenance services, the parking lot is secure, and spaces are always available (albeit for a monthly fee). Yes, its on the more expensive side, but most utilities (e.g. electricity, water, etc) are included. Its located in a quiet location across from Jackson Park, but its still a pretty short walk to stores (e.g. Walgreens Trader Joes, etc), the METRA station, and to the University of Chicago campus (~20-25 min). On the eleventh floor, the street level noise is pretty much non-existent (at least on the downtown facing side). Overall, its a pretty amazing place. But what makes this place truly special is the staff - Ive met some of them several times over the past 1 1/2 years and they are really awesome - Juaria is always helpful and professional, and always greets you with a smile. Melanie, who works at the front desk, is just a joy with her warm, friendly smile and greetings. I apologize for the other front desk staff whose names I cant recall, but they have all been great as well. The maintenance guys work quickly and professionally and keep the property in great shape. During these difficult times, the building was a nice place to live, but its the people that kept our child safe and made it feel more like a home. You cant really put a price on that, and as parents, we are truly grateful to the staff of the Solstice.

***Moving during these times are hard as you know***Having my first kid in April of 2020 during the pandemic and finding out that he had to have heart surgery was a lot for this first-time dad...But I made it through the ups and downs. The next step was to relocate closer to family.We looked high and low and saw some good price opportunities but not the home feel that we needed......Until we checked out Solstice on the Park.Fatigued and a bit drained, we walked up from the parking garage through the front doors....Impressive I thought, as it was nice a quiet, the layout of the lobby was nice and of quality and more so the surprise of a lady greeting me with the utmost respect.She informed us that she would be doing the tour from top to bottom. She asked about us as a family and what our needs were prior to doing the tour. Based on our discussion she tailored the tour to ensure that our needs were met along with many splashes of wants along the way. After falling in love with the property itself, we later went to what I thought would be our future home.....However she said, let me show you something else.Based on your conversation coming into the door about the importance of fresh air, let me show you another option with just that. We went to another unit with a balcony and let me tell you how my heart FELL IN LOVE WITH NOT ONLY THE UNIT BUT THE OUTDOOR BALCONY. She knew, I thought to myself as I embraced the moment and said We will take it.The unit wasnt even on the market yet and she made it all work within minutes after we said I DO to the home.What is her name you ask? Juaria Shelton(Warrior). Here is what we loved about her as the building manager.* Kind 🤩* Attentive 🤩* Professional 🤩* Knew everyones name who came her way (tenant) 🤩* Caring 🤩I can already tell that this will be an amazing experience at Home.🥰🥰We ended up updating our unit and extending our contract to 24 months.

Ok so I moved in this building as one of the first residents when it opened in April 2018 and I have been EXTREMELY satisfied with everything! Its clean, new, great views, the BEST management and door staff from any building that Ive lived in! Juaria by far has been an angel for me, her presence and kindness is contagious and she showed me so much compassion during one of the darkest periods of my life (and she didnt even know me!) Melanie is so friendly, kind and personable, I literally cant say enough about these women! Its in a great location and its worth it, this MAC Property is being done right! Even though I will be moving soon, this building served me well and Im grateful!

I moved into the Solstice on 7/1/2020 and this has been the best apartment I’ve live in thus far. Living in Hyde park you find smaller and older units; but not at the Solstice!!!! Their units are very spacious and modern. High end amenities! The best part about my move in experience and overall stay is Ms. Juaria Shelton. Juaria goes above and beyond to make sure all our needs are taken care of. She’s an amazing assets to The Solstice. Thanks Juaria!!!!

Solstice on the Park is amazing. Moved in my family here in late December and Juaria was a lifesaver. Coming across country to Chicago in the winter is not an easy task. Thankfully the building is very well maintained and managed. I highly recommend Solstice to anyone looking in the Hyde Park area. We appreciate Juaria and all the building has to offer!

Visited as an Jeanne Gang architecture enthusiast, this is truly a really well designed building just by the park in the Hart of Hyde Park. The materials and well oriented units give you the best possible views from the scenics surroundings.

Karl and Doug are amazing at their job (their job is to keep the building in order and fix things)!! They stayed after hours on a Friday afternoon to help us mount a TV on the wall. They were super kind the whole time, made sure to measure things very carefully to make sure they got it at just the height we wanted it and perfectly level. So thankful for them!! Solstice is such a great place to live.

The entire Solstice on the Park desk staff has been so welcoming and helpful during my move-in. Ms. Juaria Shelton in particular has gone above and beyond to make things as easy as possible for me. I am so appreciative of the help and look forward to calling Solstice on the Park my home.

If I could give Juaria 10 stars I would!From the very moment that we entered through the doors of Solstice On The Park, to first view an apartment, Juaria has made us feel at home! It is my personal opinion, that Solstice on the Park could not function in the professional manner in which it does now without her.Juaria assisted us in our move-in like a seasoned pro. The process went so smoothly, as she frequently checked-in with us and made sure we had all that was needed to obtain our key and be ready for our move-in date.Since we arrived at Solstice, one year ago, Juaria continues to be the shinning star here in the building. Her warm smile and infectious energy brightens everyones day. Her knack of knowing tenants and their families is impeccable and her ability to navigate problems and trouble-shoot sets the bar high. Front desk lady had a 5 minute conversation while we waited outside and she just ignored us. Very rude and unprofessional! I didnt get her name but shes on the evening shift Monday August 19th.
