My daughter and I have been going to this spa for years They had some of the best technicians. They made you feel special, the massages were to die for. We went yesterday and you knew from the door something had changed. I received a fill in and the guy was done in 20 minutes. He did not clean cuticles clean under nails. Told me to wash my hands after painting my nails. I had to tell him to paint more than one coat. No hand massage, no hot towels, all of the things that the Signature staff performed. The young lady did the pedicure very gentle. Well we discovered that they are new and the new name is Embassy even though the Signature sign is still up. Go at your own risk but if you are use to the Signature Salon treatment start searching for a new place. Sorry,

I went to this shop today for a mani and pedi upon entering I was not greeted by anyone just received a glare by the person behind the register. I signed in and sat down. I figured there would be a wait as all nail techs were with someone and there was also a gentleman waiting. There was a lady and her daughter that entered in after me, they was also not greeted just told abruptly there would be a hour wait not even inquiring about the service they need. Another lady entered into the shop and was greeted with a smile and a welcome. From there interactions I could tell she was a regular. She was asked what service she wanted and told to pick a color. She was then instructed to go sit in a chair for her pedi. Once I heard this I asked the women who instructed her to go to the back and sit down that there was a line of people in front of her. I was asked what service I needed then told it would be a hour and a half wait. The customer service is disgusting and unacceptable at this establishment.

While I was very pleased with my nails & the info provided by the tech. However my feet had a few areas that still needed attention. when I spoke to the tech instead of offering to fix it & keep a returning customer the conversation became a disrespectful exchange. I attempted to change the tone by informing him that the hostility was not necessary. While I was originally willing to be taken 10mil from my home as a returning customer this absolutely will not happen. I refuse to support an establishment that is unwilling to offer mutual respect to their customers nor respect me as a paying customer.

I’ve been here twice and both times have experienced horrible customer service. The techs are very rude, somewhat hostile. I even over heard one of the techs disrespecting one of the customers simply because she wanted one of her nails filed shorter. I will never come here again! Do not recommend at all! Would have given zero stars but I’m only allowed to put 1 star as a minimum!

I went in for a mani/pedi, staff offered me a drink, got a diet coke that expiered In May of 2020..... the tech didnt put the top coat on my toes so they didnt cure correctly, didnt clean the previous polish off well on my nails and rushed through so there are bubbles on each of my nails, not worth what I paid.

Don’t waste your time. I went in on a weekday, hours before closing, to try to get one broken nail fixed before a wedding I have to attend. There were maybe 2-3 customers in the whole place and the lady told me they were full & to come back another time. Rude and unprofessional.

This wasnt my first time here. The first time my nails looked amazing but, this time I have clear gel polish all over my skin and my left hand is sticky.

I walked in at about 10:05am this morning and filled out the sign in sheet. By 10:40am, I was looked over twice. The first time a tech approached a customer that walked in about 5 minutes after me and asks her what she was getting. Then she told me that she does not do fill-ins, just manicures (which she only addressed me because another tech told her to after seeing the look on my face). Then about 10 minutes late another tech reads the sign-in (after staring at me a good 3 times) and goes to the lady sitting beside me and asks her what is she getting done then she walked off.Now I know that some techs are better than others when it comes to artificial nails but I only have an overlay that needed filling in and gel polish. You mean to tell me that 2 out of the 8 or so employees can’t do all nails? Don’t they have to pass an exam on all things nails before working in a salon?I finally walked out after kindly telling the customer beside me that that was my second time being looked over and maybe I’m just not wanted there.

Every time I have came I have enjoyed it. I have gotten both my nails and pedicures there and I always refer it to people. Nice atmosphere and nice employees. I will be going back to get my nails done for prom and again for graduation. I definitely would keep recommending it to people I wouldnt know about this place if someone didnt tell me.

I love this nail salon! The prices are great and the people are friendly. They are one of the places that make you feel pampered from the moment that you walk in. Whenever I have friends in town I always take them to this nail salon and we have never had a bad experience. Also, I have never had a long wait time here and yet they always seem to have a steady stream of customers. This place is top notch!

Customer service is always the top of the list! Clearly this place cannot live up to that! I waited 20+ minutes as I was told with no problems! Just to have someone come in as walk ins after I was waiting 30 minutes to be served before me! I understand the business but watching this disgusted me! They care about money and service is really only based on connivence. The next lady finished and skipped me as well! Lesson learned don’t cheat on your nail tech!

Great customer service and friendly staff. The workers greeted us with smiles. They offered us wine while we waited. The services were exceptional they took their time doing our pedicures. The place was not too packed and the wait time was short. Its a hidden gem. I would highly recommend it to others in the northlake area

I came here a couple of times and I enjoyed my experience but this last time, I was coming to get a pedicure and get a fill in but after getting a my pedicure and asking the lady to paint my toes one color and adding a black like I was told I had to get gel polish just for her to do that. I just want to know why I have to get gel polish just for me to add a black line to it ??So I decided instead of getting my fill-in done or ever coming back I will go somewhere else.Thats what happens when you choose to be lazy, you lose loyal customers and money.I don’t think my request was complicated whatsoever. Smh

Today I came in to get a pedicure around 3:50 pm. After sitting for a few minutes, the lady calls me back for the pedicure. When I put my feet into the water it was cold so she comes and take a bucket to get the water out and dumps it into another tub beside me. After she fills it up with hot water I put my feet in. Sat for about 20 minutes while waiting water is getting cold. There two other workers working another customer. The First Lady see that no one has started on my pedicure and could tell that I was getting upset. My question is why are there two women working one customer and not one time did either of those women checked on me or check the temperature of the water. So I get my things and leave because see how this was going to go. The lady in the front say you leaving I am sorry. Never have I experienced that type of customer here. Come here all time. We not be back

Poor experience. She chipped my nail while shaping and tried to glue it without telling me. It fell off while under the dryer. Asked her to fix it multiple times. She wanted to argue. The color is very uneven and just HORRIBLE. The picture is of my nail before I even walked out the salon. Never got it fixed. :(

Please be mindful of some of these reviews. Working here, many of these costumers have wrote wrongful comments bringing our rating down. Yes sometimes we do get busy and wait time is harsh. Second a lot of nail spas do not do airbrush. Thirdly, there are certain workers who do not do fake nails so they are allowed to sit back and do whatever they may please. and please be mindful that 95% of our acrylic costumers do not have any issues with their nails coming off. And we have many clients for this and many are happy and do not write reviews. We use up to date and organic and sanitize everything we have. Give us a chance and come relax and enjoy. Thank you.

Horrible horrible service they tried to justify my gel manicure peeling off after 3 days . As well as my French pedicure looking cloudy white just after 2 days . Spent $80 and have nothing to show for it. Save your money and go elsewhere ladiesRESPONSE I have already contacted the store and you guys advised me that you will NOT be fixing the issue and also that I would have to pay FULL PRICE AGAIN to get this issue fixed. How is that resolving my issue. Do you really think Im going to spent $160 in a two week period to get this done again by the company that messed up in the first place it should be FREE !

I went there today for a pedicure and acrylic. My feet are fine. I wanted overlay on my real nails, i asked her to cut them down some. She cut my real nails completely off, i couldnt see them because of the way she had my hand tilted. Well anyway i ended up getting a full set. I wanted white tips so they put the white nails on, with a clear coat. Worse nail job Ive ever had. Plus they dont airbrush. I will not be back.

How are y’all suppose to be a nail tech but yet doesn’t know how to do half the nail tech does. Needed a full set but not one person in this nail salon does a full set. Smh!

Usually I enjoy this place, but I paid $55 for my sns nails (white ombré) and not even a week later they are a gross yellow. I’m not thrilled that I spent that much for it to last less than a week...4/22/19— update—> went in showed them the nails and they fixed it with no charge. Thank you very much!

As someone who works as a waitress, I try to understand people who work in the service industry, and tip very well. As much as it pains me to walk away without tipping someone, there was no way I was going to give this establishment another penny.First, their professionalism needs work. Prior to coming in, I hadn’t had a pedicure in a while and my toenails had grown out ( something I was already embarrassed about). Before cutting my nails, the technician showed my feet to another technician and pointed to my toenails and then said something to her in another language. To point out a client’s feet to her another technician was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional.Second, they tried to charge me for services I didn’t initially receive. I asked for the organic pedicure twice and the technician tried to pull a fast one on me and skip the mud masque and parrafin that is listed as included on their pedicure sheet. The lady then showed me the sheet, I pointed out that it said I was supposed to receive those services, then she turned around and spoke to another technician and then said, “oh.” No apologies or anything. To add insult to injury, another technician chimes in and asks if I want one or the other. I replied that the sheet says both and when she tried to argue with me the other technician showed her the sheet to which she replied, “oh.”The facility looks good on the outside, but on the inside they are unprofessional, attempt to overcharge, and try to argue with you. I will take my business elsewhere.

Very disappointed with the pedicure services I received. I purchased the spa deluxe pedicure and feel that the services I received were very rushed! This was my second visit to this salon for a pedicure and both times I feel that the nail tech was in a hurry. Both times I visited during the week before the weekend rush so there was no reason for them to rush. Also got home to notice that there was just as much nail polish on my skin as my toes. Nice upscale salon and the staff is friendly, just not for me.

I went to get my nails done (a full acrylic set) with my friend. Id never gotten acrylic nails before so I had done some light research beforehand, especially because I didnt want my nails to be ruined after a possibly poor service. When you go in you write your information on a clipboard (which Im not sure they even use), pick a color and sit down. I only had to wait 10-15 minutes as it was still pretty early into the day. The only problems I have with this particular salon are things that, as a consumer, most other people should also be highly concerned about. The station where I was sat to have my nails worked on was fairly covered in trash, from old magazines and newspapers to cups and fast food bags. I, in my anxious state about my experience, didnt check for certification, however I dont recall seeing any form of certificate on the walls in the salon. When the tech started working on my nails, he attempted to drill them using an electric file (I refused, as it isnt required, and had him buff them instead). The drill bits were pulled from some drawer and were being kept in a small plastic container. Some of the bits looked like they had polish and dust, so I dont think they had been cleaned. After the preparation (which I think included a buffing and primer, with no dehydration) I was surprised to see that they used tips, which arent a problem just a preference (tips vs form sculpting). I pointed out, in the shaping of the tips (in which he used a pair of small scissors), that one of the nails was crooked and he said hed fix it later (he did not). He quite sloppily applied the product to my nails, allowing acrylic powder to drip off of the sides of the tips, so he seems experienced in this aspect of application. After the acrylic cured, he used a drill/electric file to fix mistakes made during application, and it got fairly warm multiple times which also suggests a lack of experience. Overall, the experience wasnt terrible, but I wouldnt return as Im not sure I would trust a salon with 0 certificates for their nail techs and what seems to be poor hygiene.

1st timer but definitely not my last! So I guess thats how you spell his name...serviced me he really paid attention to detail! Ive been in Charlotte for almost two years looking for a nail tech comparable to what Im used to and I think Ive found him!!!👍

Ive been coming off and on for over 3 years. Loving myself as I do, l decided to do a a Spa Day with the whole Sha-bang: Deluxe Pedicure, Full Set of nails, and Eyebrow Wax! Low and behold, within in a week, four of my Acrylic Nails popped off because the lady quickly did my nails on her lap while I was getting a pedicure!She did not use her normal nail desk to apply pressure when installing my new full set. So I returned to the venue to get my nails replaced/repaired and l would be charged 5 per nail, which is $20 to repair. The assistant asked the manager whom, I did try to waive the fee since it was within a week, but was declined.Being in the Industry two Graduate Degrees, my money is precious and dont want to waste it! I would have accepted her to say, We apologize and maybe two we cover and two you pay.I would have appreciated that as a counter offer, but not!My total cost was about $85 spent. If they dont value me, Im not valuing them, but Praying for them to do better with all clients /customers.Great location!Great Venue!Poor Service, Poor Diversity!Going forward, Id like to see more cultural Diversity of Quality of product and Quality of Service to All paying Customers!

I LOVE this salon! It was kind of crowded but I was immediately greeted and acknowledged. Tons and tons of colors. Very clean (used plastic cover for pedi bowl, had a section where they cleaned tools, used throw away seat covers at waxing station). They asked me did I want a beverage and made sure I was comfortable. Very friendly! I will be returning!!!!

Today was my 40th birthday and I had lunch and dinner plans with a few groups of friends, I stopped by to get my chin waxed. I recently moved in the area and this was my first time at this establishment. When I arrived it was packed, I was told the wait was 45 mins. So I left and did some shopping at Target and came back. Came back and waited an additional 30 mins. They only had one woman out of all 10 staff that could wax. Because Another customer was complaining about the service and I agreed with her she tried to rip my chin off while waxing it. I decided not toallow them to do my eyebrows because of the lady’s attitude. Then she followed me quickly to the front like I wasn’t going to pay. Truthfully I shouldn’t of because she tried to hurt me while waxing me. This is by far the worst experience I have had in a nail shop. Black women stop giving your dollars to these people. They don’t like or respect us but we pay their bills. Find black owned shops.

Ive been going to this nail salon for over 3 years now. Its the only place I go. I get my fill-in, polish change and call it a day. I will admit a few workers seem stand offish, but the majority of them talk and do a really great job!!

Normally I would avoid any guys who do pedicures at nail salons, but since I was in a rush, I gave in today. He paid great attention to detail and the massage was fabulous! Definitely recommend coming here.

I called prior to going over to Signature Nail Spa - asking them 1. If they had time to do a fill in, 2. If they do ombre acrylic. The lady answered yes to both so I went over on my lunch break. I came in, told her what I needed. 2 customers were in there and about 6 employees. The lady had the audacity to tell me it was a 30 minute wait. 2 employees were sitting and looking at their phones, one was behind the register and then 2 were in the back. Wont ever go here again. Being in customer service for 12 years, this is not how you treat anyone. They have no clue what customer retention is.

Quality service with a relaxing atmosphere

I come here ever so often. i love their colors, their customer service was good at first but after weeks of coming here. the owner gives me an attitude EVERY time im here. she bumps into me on purpose as if ive done something to her. doesnt say excuse me. when i get my nails done & i say it hurts yanking my hand away they yank it back & continue. i dont like their customer service anymore. at first it was delightful but now it is horrible!

The service was amazing, the venue was nice, the massage chair and hot rock massage was everything, and my nails look amazing! i highly recommend!

This was my first visit to the Signature Nail & Spa, and my overall experience was great. My technicians were a young gentleman named Lin (Pedicurist) and an older woman named Bik (Manicurist). Lin started my service with a greeting and asking if this was my first visit. He was very nice and engaging as he did my pedicure, and he made an effort to engage me in small talk. Bik joined shortly after to start my manicure. She was also nice, but spoke very little as she did my manicure.Overall, both Lin and Bik provided me with excellent service. Keeping in mind I didnt realize the store was closing early for Labor Day, they both were detailed oriented and took their time!! I enjoyed my time and plan to return.

I have been going there for almost 3 months now and I have had nothing but great experiences since I started. I have a regular nail tech her name is Hue pronounced (way) but she does my nails perfect every time and Trust me Im very picku lol.She does the best coffin shaped nails ever and they are all truly welcoming and professional I would definitely recommend this nail salon.

Ive been coming to this salon every 3 weeks for at least the past year because it is literally across the street from where I live. Ive made an effort to get to know some of the staff and was hoping to continue being a loyal customer. Unfortunately, on multiple occasions, I have been left sitting at the door for 45 mins to an hour without anyone checking up on me (on Fridays and Tuesdays, the like). I usually just walk out quietly and come back later. Today, after being in there for an hour, I watched someone whod come in after I had, get her feet finished and nails started while I still waited at the door only needing a polish change and two nails fixed. I wouldnt have been so angry if someone had at least been courteous enough to give me an update (without me having to stare and glare to get someones attention). Then when I told one of the employees (who I see in the salon all the time) that I was leaving, she yelled at me and started angrily screaming across the room in another language. Customer retention is clearly not a priority at this place.

Terrible customer service. If you come to America to work you should learn the language.

Great pedi, so-so mani. My daughter and I went here since it was open on Sunday. With no appointment, we had to wait since all the techs were busy but it was a break away from the toddlers afternoon so who cared? Once in the massage chair with feet soaking, soda, water or wine offered, all was great.This was my first experience with gel polish and it wasnt until after we left that dd said I should have had the polish set under the uv light. I got home with only three finger and one toe nail undamaged. Live and learn. Friendly staff though.

I would not recommend coming here ever again

Went there tonight. Since I was going with 2 friends, I called 24hours in advance and made an appointment for the three of us. Our pedis didnt even get started until 30 minutes AFTER the appointment time, and even then it was one at a time... My deluxe pedi seemed rushed... My friend got the same service but hers took literally twice as long. I dont feel that I got what I paid for.On the upper hand, their prices are the best in town! They even run specials some days a week.

Terrible terrible terrible. Literally so rude they brought me to tears when I got my pedicure because they kept telling me that nothing was wrong with the polish instead it was my toes. (Mind you I get a pedicure every two weeks at others salons and have NEVER had an issue or been insulted.) Then after dealing with a bad attitude the manager did my nails and three of them broke literally the next day because the acrylic was bad and they filed my nails so thin they didnt stand a chance. I will NEVER return to this salon if its the last salon on earth.

Not professional, this is my this 3rd and last time going in there. I tried to give them a chance but it didnt work. They slow and some of them act like it hurts them to talk to you.
