I asked for a gel acrylic set. The guy who did my nails never did them before I go this place all the time . AFTER THIS I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. I got my nails done about 2-3 days ago and first off IM IN PAIN, they are already lifting at the tops and side . As you can see in the pictures below there lumping not even and over just poor quality. I will never go back there again to get nothing else done NEVER . I paid $50 for these and there not even done right.

I called on New Years to see until what time they would open and the man told me 7 pm, cool. It was only after 2 pm. I got there a little after 3 and I had waited for at least 2 hrs to be serviced, which I get seeing as though it was New Years and most other shops were closed or had closed around 3. I was not impressed with the man that did my eyebrows/ nails. Seemed that he was just rushing rushing. He tried to upsell me but yet when I asked him for something (about a certain design like a sticker) he told me I dont really need it. To me the nail work is just sloppy and rushed. Didnt paint the entire nail, almost left them at different lengths, didnt file good underneath the nail and just rushed to choose a color that I had asked about.Trial and error. Probably wouldnt recommend him. The other workers seemed to take their time and do a good job.

Staff is friendly and always does a great job on my feet. Wait times arent bad...I usually go straight to chair or wait 15 min or less.

First off they clipped my cuticle causing it to bleed which made me start thinking were they sterilizing or sanitizing their utensils after each use. That alone is enough for me. Also my nails are messy. Its affordable but not worth it after this.

I have been going to this nail for 7 years and they are becoming rude and the nail lady Tina who used to do my nails began complaining about me and saying nobody wants to do my nails anymore because I had an “attitude problem”. She said that because the lady that did my feet did it poorly and my toe nail came off before I even left the salon ( I get gel on my feet). They don’t know how to do nail designs and the staff is rude and they messed up my sister eyebrows before and she stopped going there as well. They are expensive and don’t have good service!!!! Don’t even waste your time going there.

Speedy service . Neat work . Can be busy so I would suggest calling before going if time is a concern of yours . Outside of that they are great !

It was my first time going there. The staff was very friendly. My technician was Tina. She was AWESOME. As she finished my requests, I happily told her that I would be back. Another thing that made me like this place was that it wasnt packed like most places like this.

I called before going to see if am appointment was necessary, I was told no to come now, I get there (5min) there were a butt load of people waiting, I turned around & walked back out. Called another nail shop that said come now, & glory be hold, it was heaven & she knew it was me when I walked in & she took me right away.

Hanh did an amazing job with my nails tonight after someone doing a horrible job previous @ a different location!!!! He took his time with me and actually care about what I wanted !!!!! He was super friendly and hold a conversation! He is just amazing (: thanks Hanh! See you in two weeks !

Came here for a pedicure with no complaints. The woman did a very good job. From the ease dropping conversations within the salon I overheard, this place does great work. I think what’s most discomforting about this place is the type of people it attracts. Ghetto, disrespectful, loud, young chicks that swear in front of elders. I almost got up and left for just that fact but thought about how hard it would be to get a pedicure on a walk in somewhere else with it being a Friday. I think I’ll go back here as a last resort option. Nothing to do with race- because I’m black too but, it is very uncomfortable and discomforting being around disrespectful ghetto trash on what’s suppose to be a relaxing experience.

Will forever go here no matter who does my nails they do a great job and if you go dont forget to tip they dont have to be out here to sacrifice to do your nails feet brows and lashes ☺️

My first visit was ok the first man that done my nails was really nice, my only complaint was a tiny roach ran across on the table beside me. I did give them a second chance and went back for my fill in. A horrible experience this time it was a different boy that done my nails very rude and do not know how to talk to customers! Tone of voice is off. I was starting to like them but he just turned me off, told him i will be taking my business elsewhere. It takes a lot to get me mad. Always have to reshape my nails when i leave, my nails be sooooo uneven!

I used to go there many years ago and I cant remember why I stopped going. But after so many fails around Charlotte. I decided to go back and the same familiar faces were still there and they remembered me and they did a great job! So I am here to stay with Tina and Ricky. I recommend them. Give them a try.

Nail X never disappoints. This is the only place on the east side of Charlotte that I go to for my eyebrows waxing. They do a great job no matter who does it.! The man who does eyebrows is AMAZING.! I don’t wear acrylic so I can’t speak on the business in that aspect but I wear gel on my real nails and feet and the prices is good/normal, and the work is good.! The wait time varies of course but more times than not, I don’t wait a very long time.! FYI, there is a $0.50 extra charge for paying with debit card, and $1.00 extra when paying with credit.! No biggie, just wanted to let people know 😊😊.

Where has this place been hiding? The only reason it didnt get 5 stars was because of the space in the salon. The technicians are warm and knowledgeable. They give honest feedback and suggestions... not like other places that just want the $$$. If something was wrong they fixed it. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. Its not high end by any means but its worth a regular visit for great service. And the hours are good. They will stay open to finish without you feeling rushed or that theyre annoyed.

Decided to go to here instead of my regular salon because theyre much closer to my home. Clean, friendly staff. There were a lot of people waiting. I was getting a pedicure so I didnt have to wait that long. They did a great job. I returned for a second time. $20.

New to the area, and this group is great.... their nails actually look like they care about what they do. Buuut, they value this loud and obnoxious clientele of theirs a little more than adding new customers. They will tell you how long a wait time will be but that will double or triple....and if a more familiar face walks in, they forget youre there, theyll sit that person down and start their process before realizing theyve skipped you. You can literally see, in someones expressions, when they realize what theyve done.1 STAR after the owner or whoever called me a liar, misspelled of course, under this review. Speaks volumes for their sense of professionalism

I use to frequent this salon often. So when I couldnt get into my normal lady to get my acrylics off I decided to stop in Nail X. so the people here are really friendly but I explained to the man that my nail beds are very soft. they hurt very much and I need to get the acrylics taken off the ones that didnt already come off. he proceeded to take them off with a acrylic tip which I have seen done before but he kept hurting me. after I complained a few times he asked another employee to finish. she was nice but again it hurt like hell!! any other salon I go to soaks off acrylic if it hurts this bad. she wouldnt do that she said she can get them off this way. after they are off I decided to get a basic manicure to help my nail beds. she did an ok job but all my nails were different lengths. super soft so the nail bends and catches on things and hurts soo bad. I ended up having to cut everyone down again when I got home. also the shape wasnt even even the cleat coat was chipping off by the time I got home. honestly was a waste of 25$ I should have just soaked and clear coated myself at home

I usually go here to get my nails done and come out looking GREAT!!! But this time I came out looking confused as to why my nails looked the way they did (uneven, not fully polished, crooked and shorter than what I asked for)...needless to say I hated them and for the first time getting my eyebrows done here...I could of saved my money and did them myself. But at least I didn’t have to wait long (that’s what the 3 stars are for)

I will NEVER go to back to this place again. The older man with the glasses was so rude . On top of that my nails look a hot mess. They aren’t even shaped properly and they aren’t cleaned up. I have extra acrylic that was not filed so I have to do it myself at my home. Worst experience ever.

Staff refused to acknowledge that they made a mistake and to give my partner a refund for their nails. They were very disrespectful and avoidant when my partner was talking to them very respectfully and very calmly about the issue. They refused to talk to them directly and make eye contact and when they refuse to give my partner their refund we left would not recommend their service for anybody. thanks for nothing Tina🤮

I have been a royal customer but there is this disgruntled older lady that works there. She is just rough during services. By the time she finished with my pedicure, my feet looked as it was when I came in. I didnt say a word but gave her a very mean look and she went back and did a fairly job. Secondly, during the waxing of my eyebrow she almost blinded my eyes.Finally, during payment I paid with my debit card after tipping her but she charged it as credit + the extra fee and when I was telling her she said credit and debit are all the same. I opted to speak with the manger but she responded that credit and debit cards are the same and she definitely refused to return the extra fee. This is just ridiculous when people dont know what they are doing. The is just stealing + poor customer service. I deserved better service + good customer services.

DO NOT GO HERE ! Even if it was free I would NEVER suggest this place. Instead of me getting a soak off, like I asked! They ripped my powdered nails off, Broke my real nails. When I asked why they said “ oh soak off take 30 minutes”. Okay I know what I asked for.

The lady did list when I told her that she wasn’t putting on the acrylic right and left me with uneven nails and all her solution was sorry and they gave me a discount never again will I step foot in that place again especially after being there 4 hours and then I was told since I got a discount they wasn’t going to fix it

I called at 730pm and was told they would take care of me as long as Im there before 8pm..I got here at 750 and they said they where closed. I drove 25mins to be here before 8pm and of course they would not service me. Im filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

The lady act like she could not understand English when It came to a wrong decision she made by not informing me that she was painting my nails with mood change color instead of the brown I preferred to her. I had my mind set on brown and the mood change nail polish turned it orange which is a colori never personally had or wanted . The lady went back and forth with me pleading that the color will only be orange when Im hot & its August so basically she forced me to wear orange nails when I wanted them brown from the moment I walked in the store. I couldnt even proceed to get a pedicure and eyebrow waxing because I didnt want to spend anymore of my hard earned money in there . Screw her and all that extra mumbling she was doing in her native language. They ought to be lucky Im blessed and humble.

I will never in my life come back here I sat there for 30 minutes to get my nails done it was like 7:30 when they started on me then they rushed on my nails and feet and they were rude af. The lady messed up my toe nail polishes I told her where it was messed up at and she got the nerve to shrug her shoulders at me I sat down until she fixed my nails never again they need to be shut down! The worst place ever

When I go to do my nails I never look for the more fancy one. So I went to this place for the first time just to see how it would go! I love it!!!! I dont remember the ladys name but she had it a black and long hair. The only thing is that she didnt clean one of my nails pretty well and she also finished and left me at the table since I didnt even have pay her yet. Anyway... The place wasnt fancy, they had a strong acetone smell in the air but the lady did an amazing job.

Absolutely atrocious ! wouldnt even give them this one star if I didnt HAVE to. Went there about 1:40pm today, the lady wanted to do my toes at the nail bar instead of pedi bowl problem which was problem #2. problem #1 was that the entire time I was choosing a color she continued to watch me as if I were going to steal a polish, smh. problem #3, I take off my socks and she goes oh my God! in a very unpleasant and disgusted tone (mind you I had to wait 4 weeks to grow my toe nails out so that I can get them square shaped this time which I didnt explain to her because honestly, they werent as bad as she made it seem.) I respond saying whats the matter? she goes I mean ugh, how long did you wait 5 weeks?! I go four. She continues to cut and as she starts to file I feel that she is shaping them round instead of square. I remove my foot from being propped on her leg underneath the nail table, look at them and were very unsatisfied. She told me it would be a $10 extra charge for her to cut them down more and so I stand up to collect my belongings and leave. Over walks a man, Im guessing he is the shop owner, and he says not to worry about it and that he will do them for me. He starts and automatically it just gets worse. He puts on a clear coat and 3 coats of my polish of choice. He did not put a clear top coat once finished before I went to dry. I didnt ask because I had already had a terrible experience from the time I walked through the door until he finished the third coat so I was just ready to go. I took a nap about 2 hours later and woke up to them being completely matte, no shine, and smooshed polish. I am very upset one because I intentionally waited and grew my toe nails out so that I could get them square shaped instead of paying for tips and acrylic, number two because I wasted $8, three because the customer service was horrific. I will never go back here and I do not recommend anyone to visit this place.

I will NEVER be coming back!!!Ive been a loyal customer of Hans forany years...Driving from Concord to Albemarle Rd. I called for an appointment at 12pm. He said he didnt make them on weekends. I asked if I could come after work (5-6) since I was leaving For Miami in the morning and he says yeah, just walk in. Well, I just walked in (all the way from concord) and he tells me that he cant do my nails and that 12 was so long ago that he didnt remember having the conversation. He says, Oh, and I have to run somewhere. Excuse me???? Needless to say, shops close at 7 here mostly. After being in traffic and not being able to make it anywhere else, I have to travel without my nails or toes Done... Even though I called many hours in advance since he did the same thing the last time I came to get my nails done! Enough is enough! 🖕🏽

Horrible service!!!!! The lady was very rude and when i told her that i didn’t like my nails she didn’t want to fix them when i paid my money and shouldn’t have to leave unsatisfied. She did not file my nails properly it was very bulky and clunky and my cuticles were not cleaned properly and i asked for ombré color and it was not ombré it looked like the mood changingcolors. I will not be coming back here!
