Not too happy with the level of service I received here. Ive been to the polished in South park and they provided excellent service, I was expecting to receive the same. My nail technician was in a hurry and did a poor job on my nails, he said I was his last client for the night. He removed my old sns nails with the manicure drill, so dust and debris was flying everywhere. I had to move my drink so I wouldnt be drinking dust and nail bits. By the time he was done, I was covered in dust. He didnt even offer me a towel or anything. Its only been a week and my nails have already started to chip. I always get SNS and I can usually make it close to a month before they start chipping, I barely made it a week! Im not sure if he put enough coats or what, but this was not good. I have very thick nails and my nails seem rather thin now, probably from using the sander to remove the sns, Ive never had anyone do it like that before.

I love Polished! Sorina is AMAZING and get perfect shape on my nails. She was even able to get the special look I wanted with no stress. Best gel manicure I’ve found in Charlotte. Pedicures are great too.

Mary was great! I got a pedicure and a S&S manicure. I will return with my daughter. It felt nice to go to a nail salon and not treated like a number.

I went for a pedicure, and was given no choice as to which type of pedicure wanted. Two girls walked in after I got started and the women employees offered the different pedi options to them. The guy I had didnt use any products on my cuticles before cutting and when massaging my feet he used his fingernails, what? I decided to get a manicure afterwards because I really just wanted to be pamper and wanted a good massage. The women did a good job on my nails but did not use the color I asked for. At this point I just wanted to leave so I did not say anything. I will never go to this location again.

I don’t like to leave a bad review and usually like to give the benefit of the doubt but after today I wanted to share about my experience here. I have came here many times and all of the staff has always been friendly but today my experience was much different. There were only a few people there when I walked in. The gentleman who was at the desk was on his phone (which is ok to an extent) but barely said a word to me. He filled up my pedicure (cold water) then just walked away never asking how the temperature was or anything. I waited a few minutes for someone to come over but my experience didn’t get better.She was extremely unfriendly, didn’t even try to talk or anything. She quickly put my polish on, and barely trimmed my nails, or took the time to do anything, she just quickly put lotion on my legs and was done. She didn’t even bother to put the top coat on for the shine and protection of my nails. Then she said “let it dry” and just walked off to the next person.I am extremely upset about my pedicure, it looks sloppy and doesn’t have the shine. As I mentioned I have came here many times, but after today I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are definitely better salons to look at.

I was glad i gave Polished a try.... I have been wanting something on my natural nails that looks more natural than acrylic. I was turned on to SNS by Lindy and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I had never tried it before but when she suggested removing the nails i came to get filled, and i was all for that. I will definitely be returning!

First time getting my nails done here. I had a gift certificate from Christmas and that was no problem. My gel mani pedi nails look great! Alyssa did a great job. Def returning

Two stars because all of the people that work there that I met were so nice. as far as the nails, I’m on day 3 of my vacation and my gel polish is totally peeling off. I have never had gel not last me at least 2 weeks before. really bad quality manicure and definitely won’t be back.

Just had the most amazing experience having them fix my nails after another place did them wrong. Kong has an attention to detail that is unmatched! For the first time ever, my badly bitten nails look amazing. He fixed the ski jump aspect of them to make them look much more natural!

Request to have Randy take care of you. He does an amazing job! He used to work at Uptown Nail Salon in Center City Charlotte. So he came from an extremely professional atmosphere that had to do perfect work so he carried over his skills to Polished. My polish on just a simple manicure always lasts two weeks when I go and I work in the food service business because he does such a good job!

I usually go by the ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say not to say anything at all ‘But I was very unhappy with my 9 year old child’s manicure. Not only did the technician do a rush job, but they charged $32 dollars 😳😳😳 I will gladly pay for a superior product but the next day (not even 12 hours later) her nail color doesn’t chip but comes completely off. We go on vacation and by day 2 of the vacation all of the nails have come off. I am super not happy.

Ive had good experiences at other Polished locations, but the visit to this one was just okay. Staff wasnt as friendly, had to wait a while for a manicure, and ultimately I wasnt particularly thrilled with the gel manicure I received. Wasnt the best Ive seen from the start, and it was chipping within a couple of days.

I love this place. They are all friendly without pushing or prying for conversation. Prices clearly marked and always a clean, bright environment. Plus champagne!

The staff is always so pleasant and patient and they are generous with the complimentary drinks! Any time I’ve asked for a design they have willingly done it for me and the polish lasts severa weeks!

Was very disappointed in the way my nails were done. The young lady who did my nails was not familiar with acrylic at all. Nails were to wide for my fingers and they were not even or filed at the same length. Will definitely not be returning.

Unfortunately, just 10 hours after my basic mani pedi, almost all of my nails are peeling. I don’t do any hard labor and haven’t been washing dishes or anything, just occasionally typing on a computer and gesticulating in the air. I think the quality of the polish and application could be much better, especially since my personal manicures at home last at least three days before peeling/chipping (sometimes much longer!) Disappointed.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I called ahead to see if I needed to make an appointment and I was told by the receptionist that I didn’t need one they were really slow. I arrived ten mins later and was told there was a thirty min wait. I needed my nails done for an event and was desperate so I stayed. I work at a restaurant that requires me to wear a uniform and I had printed tights on and was laughed at by the male receptionist there who obviously kept making rude comments and snarking at me. After waiting nearly an hour a lady turned t me and asked if I needed help and she decided to do my nails. She quoted me 85 dollars for gel and acrylics. There’s nothing special about this salon or her skills to make it that expensive. I’ve been getting my nails done for 12 years now and my best friend owns a nail salon in Wilmington so I’m aware of the scams that can take place in the salon. First no nail salon should ever charge you for the shape of your nails. Second there’s no such thing as “gel powder” so don’t even try it. I was so irritated and on such a time crunch that I said I’ll paint them myself at home just finish them and I kid you not she asked me if I was “too cheap to pay” for their gel polish. Never again.

Got a good Dip Manicure...will be back.

Staff was great did an amazing job....I had a male nail tech which was unusual he was friendly and professional. I had a gift certificate from a friend for my birthday which was great only 2 small comments the price difference for gel finger nails was a bit much and the nail tech was a little flirty

I went in less than a week ago my full set was wayyyy over priced $60 for a gel full set. Just about all nail salons charge $25 for a basic polish full set so I can understand paying $35 for the gel polish but where the hell did the other $25 come into play....tip included?? My 2 of nails now have cracked in the middle of my finger nail the quality of the nails were def not worth $60 I guess people just enjoy the free box wine. I will NOT be returning. Highway robbery just because of I️ts location

I would first like to start off by saying that I personally felt racially profiled by this establishment. The color of my skin does not define how much money is in my pocket, point blank. I would not recommend this nail bar to anyone of color as you will not get treated equally. I first walked in and got an attitude over what I was going to get. While any non-person of color got greeted with a “hello”. Next I had workers staring me fown the whole time even though I paid before I got my toes done. Finally, the workers put gloves on his hands before touching my feet while no other workers had done this for anyone else . When he moved on to a non-person or color he proceeded to take the gloves off and start her toes. Terrible experience, would not reccommend.

Kong was sweet and professional

After going to polished on a Sunday with my friend, i left unsatisfied. i was not aware that shaping and length costed an extra 5 dollars ( for both). Im used to going to places where its 30 for a full set and 5 for just shaping. On Tuesday morning my nails began popping off one by one, only two days after i had got them done. Basically i wasted 35 dollars !

I usually love this place but today was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. My mom had given me a gift certificate for a gel mani and pedi. I was so excited because I really needed the pampering. When I arrived I told the gentleman that I wanted a gel mani and pedi (every other time this has meant both gel mani and gel pedi). He asked if I wanted a deluxe pedi and I showed him the certificate I recieved and that I wasnt sure what it covered. He told me it didnt cover the deluxe but it would only be $10. I told him that was fine. While I had my feet in the wax he started on my mani. A regular customer of his came in and he told he would be with her shortly. She told him to take his time as I seemed to be enjoying my mani/pedi. When he started on my feet I was confused when he sent a guy over to grab a regular polish. It didnt hit me until he put the clear coat and was about to put on the regular polish. I reminded him it was a gel pedi. Not once did he mention that the certificate I had shown him was for regular and that it would be extra. He just took the clear coat off and started the gel. Well due to him using oil with my pedi the gel polish didnt want to work so he had to redo my toes several times. Finally they were done. When I went to pay I handed him the gift certificate and he told me it would be $20 because the certificate was for a gel mani and regular pedi. At this point this was no longer a relaxing experience and I just wanted to leave. After leaving I did double check with my mom and she did say when she went in to get the certificate for me she asked for a gel mani and gel pedi. She was upset I had such bad experience as thats not what she wanted when she got it for me. I really felt the guy decided I was no longer worth his time and attention once his regular came in. I may not be a regular but I have definitely spent enough there and this has made me feel that I should find someplace else to pamper myself.

Came to this particular location yesterday for a mani/pedi I did not have a welcoming experience. I am sure I was being talked about and laughed at and after spending $70 on such a mediocre service I was treated like a second class citizen. The lady at the register had an attitude with me the moment I walked in, and even after I paid, no one said thank you for coming in, or even asked how I was doing. I’m not sure if I was treated so poorly because I’m a young black female or if they thought I didn’t have enough money. Overall I will never spend another dime at this business and I will be sure to let my social media followers,friends, coworkers, and family know to never patronize this nail salon ever. If I could give negative 5 stars I would.

I got a mani/pedi here because I was given a gift certificate and told they were awesome. I walked in and stood at the door for a couple of minutes before anyone even acknowledged me and all the person said was for me to pick out a color. I picked out my color and then continued to stand there looking dumb because there was no where to sit and no one instructed me on what to do next. I was finally greeted by a man who asked what I was there for and was told to go sit in the back in one of the pedicure chairs. I went to get up in the chair, putting my foot in the water basin to get up and stuck my foot and pant leg right into very cold water that I was obviously not even aware was in there because 1. He didnt tell me, 2. it was not turned on and bubbling and 3. with the color of the bowl you couldnt even see the water in it. The man just laughed at me, gave no apology and walked off. I didnt find it very funny that I now had a pant leg that was soaking wet. There was a girl sitting next to me who they kept offering drinks to. I was never offered anything to drink. Finally, after about 15 minutes of waiting, a lady comes over and starts working on my pedicure. She barely spoke to me. Regardless my pedicure looked fine to me. My fingers were a different story even though they looked decent when I left. I ended up having to come back three days later because my gel manicure had started to chip on a couple of fingers and if you held my hand into the light you could see right through them. Yes, I know with some colors you can see the light through it but I had picked out a pretty dark blue that shouldnt have done that. I went in after work to have them fix my nails and you would have thought I was the hugest inconvenience in the world to them. The lady who helped me rolled her eyes at me and kept talking to herself in another language. She also told me I was too rough on my nails. Im sorry, but rough or not (which Im not) I got a gel manicure and they should last way longer than 3 days. I was so happy to get out of there ASAP because I felt very unwelcome there.Another thing I want to add is a warning. Please be mindful of the prices of their services. I knew what the price was for a gel mani/pedi and when I went to pay she told me was $15 more than what it should have been. She first told me it would be $60 and then was like oh I mean $75. When I questioned her about it she just changed it back to $60 and didnt explain herself. Sounded like someone was trying to screw me out of some money.I dont plan on ever stepping foot in this establishment again.

Worst pedicure of my life! She barely scrubbed the heels of my feet and when I asked her about it she stated, You justbhave dry skin! LOL. She wasnt friendly and a delux pedicure took 20 minutes! Plus the water in a glass smelled like fish bowl water!

Terrible service. My nail tech was in a foul mood and gave me the worst fill in Ive ever had. Pretty sure he spent 5 minutes total on my service. Im going home to repaint my nails..ugh!

Parking sucks on Providence Rd because theres a movie theatre next door. dont come in a hour before they close, they will rush and not care how your nails comes out. The guy barely talked to me and hurt my fingers many times and didnt apply top coat. I had to ask someone else to apply it
