They replaced the windows in our house and the new windows look wonderful.
Replaced 13 old metal framed sliding windows with new Windcore sliding windows. Fantastic product, great fit, and tight seal. In addition to the new windows, the very best part of the project was the installation team! Kevin and his crew were the best. Highly recommend these folks for your next window replacement project.
This is about one of their repair techs. This young kid is here trying to make a repair at my moms home. He is completely unshaven. He smells of drugs (weed). And it was just disrespectful his entire appearance. Sears CLEARLY does not do drug tests on their employees! I made sure I watched him until he left my mothers home. How do you show up to your job in people’s homes completely disheveled and reeking of weed? I know the technicians name but Google might not let me post the review if I do. Disgusting Sears and shame on you for sending repair techs like that
No stars for this company. Started a contract on December 9, 2017. They started the work on March 13, 2018 . This was also supposed to be a shower remodel. They put a prefabricated wall which was supposed to be custom made. However, nothing was custom made about that when it was sawn on our front lawn. The wall panels had holes in on the top and the design pattern did not match. This is a nightmare and it is long from being over. Will update you when we have a new shower.
The initial unit was sent to the wrong place; hence, the unit was not install on the date scheduled. I understand that unforeseen things happen. But I do have an issue with the fact that Ryan from that Greenville, SC office did not bother to answer our calls to inquire about the status our AC unit. We had to call several different people within the Sears organization to find out what was going on with our AC unit. We were very surprised how Sears handled this situation given our very good past experience with Sears. On top of all that they didnt shipped the thermostat that we had bought.
Our experience with Sears was not good. Our sales person was not trained to work with Sears. The contract said the heater would be installed in approximately 2-3 weeks; the reality of that was 2 1/2 months. The heater is loud. The customer service is poor. It took 8 weeks just to get a copy of the contract that we signed on a tablet. Had to pay up front or no deal. That was a mistake! In the multiple attempts it took to get a copy of the contract the customer service rep asked why I was calling her location. Well, IDK, except that was the only number I had! Told me she would only the send the contract as a favor to the Charlotte location. Was told by one of the service techs, if you knew how far we had to come, you would have made us breakfast. If Sears is going to work outside the Charlotte area, they should put their workers in hotels so they have enough time to do the work and not resent the long drive. So much more and so little room to write it. I would not recommend Sears. I was a number to them and that number had a $ sign in front of it. Find a smaller, local company.
Worst experience go a furnace put in it didnt work for almost 3 weeks they hade someone come out twice to try and fix it but couldnt and they only came because I was calling no stop especially because it started to blow cold air continously after they worked on it which made it colder in the house then outside. They finally realized the had the wrong part and ordered it and now works. I also was suppose to have my back roof done after them taking pictures and going over it they said they could do my roof only to change their minds a week later but not inform me I had to call to see why it was taking so long that when I was told they couldnt do it and a sales person was suppose to call me and that they would call later. No one ever called me I have to keep calling and I finally did get a person that could help me and Im still waiting on my refund. No I didnt do these things separate I sign paper work for them to do at the same time I would never punish my self by trusting them twice.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! We had flooring installed with Sears aka Transform Home Improvements. The sales people, (Jordan Cain), in our case only seem to be concerned with selling you the product and once you are sold it all goes down hill.... they could careless about what happens after that. They lie about when you would receive the contract, they lie about when service will be installed, they lie about calling you back, they lie about giving a discount... we were promised a $500 discount after various problems and miscommunication with this company —which WAS NOT HONORED bc no one can basically find a record of our complaints. This is just the very short version of the story... bottom line, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I would not recommend using this company for any home improvement needs. Caused damage to my home and then would not do anything to fix it. I would choose another company to do any work to your house.
I rate this a zero!!! I called three times to find out the cost of a replacement window. (I already have Sears Windows) I spoke to someone who answered the phone. They took a message from me for another person there in the office to call me. No one ever returned my phone call. Ever! No wonder Sears is having financial problems!!!
Had a granite countertop replaced with backsplash. They installed the new countertops but never installed the backsplash still waiting... I feel like for such a small job this should have been done in one day. Also have been calling trying to figure out when the backsplash will be installed have been getting the run around have left messages no one has returned my call I am very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Excellent! We love our replacement windows.
The worst experience ever at the prices 3 times higher than anywhere else. Managers never go back to you, you have to chase them after they took your money.
Very well run company
Best company in Charlotte
