This was our second time using Adams (first was for heat repair, this time was for AC repair) and I can’t recommend them enough! Byron Jackson, the tech who performed the repair service, had to come out on 2 separate days and was on time both visits. He had to return the next day since he didn’t have the part on him, but the company reached out and was able to get us an appointment for first thing the following morning rather than having to deal with no AC for another full day.Byron worked quickly and was very pleasant to work with. Being without AC in the hot summer months is never fun - especially when you have 3 large dogs - but Byron was thankfully able to get us back up and running in a matter of a few hours after replacing our evaporator coil. Everyone I spoke to in regards to this service - including the service manager and the woman who helped me set up both appointments - were extremely helpful and very friendly. Pricing is reasonable - I called around to get an estimate from a few other local AC/heat repair places before scheduling the repair with Adams and the other companies quoted me for relatively the same price. This team, Daniel and Nick, did a fantastic job! They were punctual and worked consistently until the job was complete. Offered to repair my clogged a/c drain pipe. Quoted 400.00. After asking for a breakdown. The repairman charges are $130.00 to vacuum water out of the pan and pour it in the toilet? Smh no thanks. The next call I made repaired the drain for $200.00. Good luck attempting to find homeowners that will be ok with this type of pricing.

I highly recommend Adams Heating and Air. I had an incident one morning recently and smelled a burning coming from the vents. I called Adams, having used them one time before. They immediately sent out a technician. After the tech’s review it was decided to send out a senior tech to assess the furnace. I had two options to make a costly repair or consider a new furnace. Within days a project manager sat with me to explain, not sell me on what to consider. I opted to not only get a new furnace but an air conditioning unit as well. It was a cost savings and overall more effective to get both aging systems (13 years) replaced. The financing they provided was reasonable and doable for such a large home improvement. Special thanks to Marco Ferreria, Project Manager, Adams installers Juan and Esdras (excellent) and Eddie, senior tech. Also thank you to the office staff. Today superior customer service is lacking, but not with Adams. I appreciate the character and integrity displayed by the company and its employees.

They are a wonderful company. Every employee I have spoken with is kind, concerned, informative and caring. They replaced duct work when installing a new unit for me that I paid another company to do just a month prior. Turns out the other company did not really do the work I paid for. Adams did not change the cost of installing my new unit and replaced the ductwork for free. I will use them for all heating and AC needs from here on out.

We had a 17 year old Trane that was still running but we were ready to upgrade to higher efficiency. We ended up purchasing a Trane XL18 heat pump matched with a new S furnace controlled by a Trane thermostat we can adjust and view remotely! I wanted to quote in this company when I checked the reviews, and from the first call they did not leave me alone; Thanks to Michelle, she was looking for someone to help me in Spanish and she didnt let my call get lost, followed by the seller Marco, who took great care of us and wasted no time in visiting us, looking for the best options for us. The installation technicians arrived at the agreed time, focused on their work and with the best of attitudes, thanks to each of them Juan, Esdras and Daniel for giving “La Milla Extra”. Adams came out and gave me a free quote for replacing the ducts in my Attic - their price was almost half of what the other guys quoted me. Not only did they do a great job at a great price, but they were able to come out and get the job done in my attic in August. Initially they let me know they usually wait until it cools down outside because it gets so hot up there, but they were able to make it happen for me, saving me even more money (the old ducts were condensating and causing water damage to my walls, they were able to fix it quickly enough that I do not need to replace the walls).Stellar job.

Adams Heating and Air is currently working on a huge project at my job. They have been here for the last few weeks replacing 4 ancient units with brand new ones. The supervisor Adrian is always very friendly and professional and says good morning to me everyday. All of the technicians seem to really respect him and are eager to learn from him. I am shocked every day how well they work together, I have never seen a group of guys let alone vendors get along so well. I am used to feeling so much negative energy and hostile vibes from vendors getting aggregated with each other, defiantly not the case here. They have been working very efficiently and always clean up their work space behind them every day. They always make sure they are out of the way when they need to be and make sure not to interrupt business. I have had an amazing experience with Adams team of guys so far. The AC unit in our 2.5-year-old home broke for the third time this summer. We called for a same-day repair and the friendly voice on the line scheduled us a visit for that evening after work. Eddie, the tech, is incredible. He was so friendly and explained everything each step of the way in laymans terms. Definitely knew his stuff. He ran a ton of diagnostics and our AC has worked better since his visit than it did the first day we moved into the home. They were all transparent with pricing, so I knew what I owed for the diagnostic. I will call them for all heating/cooling needs going forward!

Honest company, honest work, honest price. I have an old system that I need to limp along for another year. They gave me an honest assessment and sent out a technician D to repair my system. D was excellent with a great attitude and presence. Ive used Adams before and their work is always first rate and prices fair.

During a particularly cold and snowy weekend, our heating system could not hold our desired temperature. I called Adams Heating & AC to diagnose the issue. They responded quickly and sent one of their techs, Jason, on the same day, despite a very busy weekend.Jason was very meticulous in his inspection and diagnosis. He took the time to explain the issue, step by step. He presented all of our options and was very transparent about the pricing. Once we made a decision, Adams Heating & AC scheduled a repair appointment as soon as possible (within two days).In the meantime, Jason went out of his way to provide a temporary solution until the repair appointment. His level of expertise and customer service made for a great experience. He definitely went above and beyond to help us.

Dave came to fix what was assumed was an easy fix and stayed for 3 hours, even past normal working hours, getting to the bottom of the issue. Great Service, Great Price, No Pressure! After bidding to multiple companies, I chose Adams to replace my upstairs heat pump. Marco was honest and upfront about the options and prices for replacing the old unit. I was so impressed with what he and the Adams team offered, I decided to replace my downstairs unit as well. Marco made sure I was aware of the full process and checked-in throughout the installation to ensure everything went smoothly. Everyone was very considerate and courteous and the new units work great!

We hired Adams on multiple occasions, from a complete new system, major alterations to our residence, and testing the system a year later. They have continually exemplified outstanding service throughout. We will continue to utilize them in the future for any of our HVAC needs.

Your tech does not know the job. He listed issues which were not existing and quoted over $600/ for a simple problem with capacitor which was the fix by an honest tech ($15 capacitor from Lowe’s and $35 labor for 5 minutes job).Your tech didn’t accept check demanded cash and threatened to send a law enforcement officer to collect payment for diagnostics. Need to improve customer service and refrain from false diagnostics and try not taking undue advantage of customers in need of severe weather conditions

Very impressed with their exceptional customer service. They are easy to get on the phone, come out to the house expeditiously, and are so so friendly. Forest came out within a few hours of calling them yesterday even though it wasnt really an emergency and was very kind to explain all that he was doing and why he was doing it. Also respectful of not disturbing the baby! I recommend them wholeheartedly.

An Adams technician came to my house 2 days ago and recommended we add 2 gallons of Freon to temporarily provide relief until we can purchase a new system. I paid $400 and it IMMEDIATELY leaked out 100%. They will not provide any warranty or refund unless I purchase the replacement unit from Adams (in which case the $400 goes towards the replacement). I feel the technician was aware that it would immediately leak out and provided the service anyway with the goal of incentivizing us into buying a replacement unit from Adams. I am dissatisfied and do not recommend this service.

I am very thankful for Adams Heating and Cooling. They exude professionalism and excellent customer service. Lisa and Kim in the office always answered all my questions. They called me after each service call to follow up with me. Chuck, the service manager, clearly explained to me what was involved in the repairs needed so I knew what to expect. Dave from Adams has taken superb care of us! In the fall he aptly figured out that the company that had installed a new furnace had set it up wrong AND failed to register our warranty. He assisted us in getting all of it corrected. Last night when the power went out to our thermostat, he tried to triage everything possible over the phone and when that wouldnt work, arrived at our home in 30 minutes at 930pm to diagnose and fix the problem. Dave treats me like I was his (good) brother--kindly, professionally, and efficiently to put our home back in order just like he would do for his own home. Fast and friendly service with a smile--now thats what I like!

Technician arrived on time, was knowledgeable and courteous and completed the repair quickly. I have every reason to believe that he did a complete and quality job.

During a storm our tankless water heater, which also feeds our furnace went out. Our dog sitter called Brothers, who told her both units need to be replaced. When we got home I called Adams and they came out the following day. It was fixed in a few hours for under $500 and both work excellent now. Brothers tried to make a $5000 sale by scamming and that is WRONG. I will only use Adams.

We called Adams several years ago when an inexperienced technician from another well-known company ruined the compressor unit of our air conditioning system. Although that company offered to replace it, we decided to have Adams do they repair based on their Angies List recommendations. We established spring and winter heating and air checks and have been very happy with the thoroughness of the service. All the technicians have been punctual, courteous, and informative. We recommend Adams without reservation.

I had used another service for Heating and Air for about 10 yrs but the company is no longer in Charlotte. I was very nervous about finding another service. I always had the plan with checkups etc. This was a big decision for us to commit to. I researched, asked around, and checked the BBB and decided to go with Adams because they had an excellent rating. There were no complaints for all the years they have been in Charlotte!! I thought that was awesome because you cant please everyone all the time but they apparently have! I Called to set up the plan and they came out to do the check up. I was extra nervous because I thought any new company would try to sell me a new system immediately since mine is 16 yrs old. The technician came out, completed the service with his checklist which took awhile as he was thorough. He then gave us an update. He did tell us a few things that may need to be done in the future but they were little things. The technician was pleasant, honest and very knowledgeable. We have used Adams Heating and Air for over 15 years. They service our home ACs and furnaces twice a year. Any of the techs they have sent have been courteous, knowledgeable and can fully explain their findings so I can understand them. They are realistic about whether it makes financial sense to repair or replace (a part or an entire unit), as well as about how long we can most likely wait to do a service or a repair/replace. They are able to give estimates of the cost immediately, unless the entire unit needs replacement. When a unit needs replacement, a specialist comes out to examine the house and to recommend the most efficient unit. I would most definitely recommend them.

Installation, timeframe, and price was exactly as they described. Went above and beyond in not only installing my new furnace but also correcting the issues that previous technicians had created. Actually had to turn down my thermostat when it was all completed because of how well everything worked.

Our experiences with Cory have been truly outstanding. Most recently he diagnosed a problem that weve had for several years with our heating cycle. Other companies were unsuccessful with making this repair. To say the least we were thrilled. Cory is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and able to explain problems in an easy-to-understand format. We couldnt recommend Cory and Adams any more highly.

Adams began work for us as the HVAC contractor for the renovation of our new house, and we were very happy with their work throughout the renovation. When we recently needed to replace our furnace, we got bids from Adams and from another company that weve had good business with. Adams bid was lower and Jim Williamson took plenty of time to identify better airflow options throughout the house in order to improve the heating. The work was done promptly and professionally.

I was fortunate to have Chris and Corey out to our house today to replace a heat exchanger. We are in the process of trying to get our house in order to sell.We unfortunately found a crack in the heat exchanger and a short in our thermostat.We have dealt with Adams for almost thirty years and had also dealt with Jim at the main office. I spoke with Jim yesterday about our need for a new heat exchanger and by about 1:00 PM today, all the work was done.Chris and Corey did a great job and went the extra mile to make sure that everything was in tip top shape.I could not have asked for a better experience especially since we were under some time constraints.I would highly recommend Chris and Corey and of course, Adams Heating and Air Conditioning.

We have relied on Adams Heating and Air for over 20 years. When I call with a problem they know who I am and they make every effort to schedule a service call promptly and at my convenience. Their employees are courteous and thorough in their work. They are careful not to soil carpets, whether they have been working in a dusty attic or muddy crawl space. My air conditioning unit stopped working and Adams had someone out to look at it the same day. Daniel St. Clair was very quick in trouble shooting the cause and had the necessary part to replace on his vehicle. Daniel was very courteous and helpful in explaining what the problem was. I got home one of these warmer than normal Spring days and realized my air was not working at all. I called Adams Heating and Air and they had after hours guy on call. He was there within 30 minutes and diagnosed my problem within 15 minutes with no extra charge for after hours appointment. I would recommend Adams Heating and Air to anyone and have to all my friends. The Tech was friendly and very thorough. I would definitely use Adams again.

Eddie arrived on time 3/18 to do my quarterly service check on three systems. He was pleasant the entire time he was here, did the service required and spoke to Debbie and I at the end of the visit explaining all that was done and that there were not any issues that need to be followed up on. It was a very successful Service Appointment.

After our unit went out, I called Adams late one night (past 10pm), and spoke with a real person who scheduled an appointment for early the next morning. When our 15 year old unit had to be replaced, Adams was there and gave a great quote. They had the unit in the next day, and it has been running great ever since.

Called to get quote on service at my girlfriends house after receiving a quote from a competitor. I spoke with a guy named Marco and he explained all the options to us in easy to understand terms. He was able to get us a better deal on some premium equipment and get it installed quicker than the competitor. He even called a week after the install to see how we liked our new units!

I had an issue with regard to one of my cooling units not working properly. I contacted Adams and was able to easily set an appt for a technician to assess the problem. He was on time, was very knowledgeable and after assessing the issue, checked the entire system thoroughly to make sure everything else was in working order. I called Adams to help when my heat stopped working. A technician was out to my house in a timely manner. From the receptionist to the technicians, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company!

We currently have a service contract with Adams to come out and perform routine maintenance on our 30 year old AC unit and furnace.Their customer service is excellent. Whenever Ive called in with a question about an upcoming appointment I always get the same person, and she is always courteous and professional. The techs that come out to service our unit are on time and take their time to explain everything theyve done and any potential issues they see. Would reccomend.

We had our entire HVAC system replaced (including ducting) by Adams about 13 years ago and have been very pleased. They performed a service on the furnace in March of 2013, as the furnace was not working due to failure of a part...by the end of the afternoon we were back up and running again, minimal hassle and cost! They explain everything along the way and are courteous and friendly.Weeks later we had our heat exchanger break down in our rental condo unit! Thankfully it was vacant! We had a complete new system within days! Again, courteous, friendly and everything explained to us. The cost was also very competitive!In July, 2014 as we had our condo up for sale we discovered the A/C was not working. Same day Adams was out to investigate and pinpoint the problem, order the parts and and was fixed within a day. No charge, no hassle under the warranty!

Adams installed my heating and air 5 years ago. My unit was working great till now. Blowing fuse breaker. They came out and were very spot on in finding the problem. Id give them a 5 but they are a bit pricey.I do recomend them
