Initially the quality of care here was exceptional. However, the detail to care and consideration have continued to decline. The practice has undergone several changes. Perhaps, this is why care and attention to patient needs have fallen so sharply. While I would have highly recommended them last year, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this practice in its current state to do their homework carefully. You may end up with a mouth full of dentures.

The staff there are very unprofessional compared to an oral surgeon office I visited before. 1) They could not figure out the rule of the insurance, which I figured out in just one call which takes a few minutes. 2) They didnt even call the insurance even though they claimed they called, which I figured out its a lie. Why bother to lie? Do you really think the customs are idiots?I understand the insurance-healthcare provider system is sometimes complicated. But arent the staff hired to do these things? I am okay with bills, but I am not okay being fooled by unprofessional people.

Warning clients! It cost $40 to cancel your appointment, if you had confirmed your appointment a week ago. Doesn’t matter if you get sick with possible Covid, and tried to do the right thing, which is to self quarantine and cancel your appointment. So you won’t get others sick. You’re basically still getting punished because you confirmed a week ago.

I’m writing this review with a very disappointed heart. I was please by Stellar’s hospitality. Therefore I choose to come back for dental cleaning. However, not a lot of time passed from my cleaning; I had a caramel stain developed on my front teeth. I immediately contact the office requested to see my dentist. Because of Covid, I waited a long time just to get a check-up. My dentist was on maternity leave. A new doctor saw me. She took a look at me, said, “R U Back to SMAKOING?” As if my past personal life should be questioned. Because of this doctor, I decided to go somewhere else. What I did not know is, I still need to pay a $55 office visit fee(last about 5 mins, wait about 30 mins) for letting a stranger doctor questioned my sobriety, and offer no help! I did not receive treatment. Even after I found out regular cleaning can remove the satin, Stellar should do it for free. I tried to explain my situation the best way I can. Still, whoever answers my phone acts like an immigrant because I don’t understand medical terms in English. When I finally decided to go to the office in person (also paid my bill), the front desk promised the doctor will contact me soon. Still, I did not hear any follow back from them.

GREAT,, GREAT,, GREAT ...!!!!!I’ve been going to stellar dental for maybe 2 years .. always excellent Service... from the people in the front to the people I’m the back... Always pleasant ... BUT I GOT A CLEANING FROM BRITTANY ♥️..... She Really Did her thing ... and she communicated during and explained what was need and what was going on thoroughly.. I appreciate her .. Dentists Trips Are never a favorite.. but Stellar makes it a better experience than most places I’ve been in a few states and cities!!! Kudos Ladies !!

All the staff is wonderful, and super helpful. Dr.Rogers is great as is the new Dr. Hoy I just saw for the first time. They always make me feel like I’m making an informed decision about my treatment. Not to mention, they have some of the most convenient hours in the area.

Great people. Above average customer service. I care where dental materials come from (think lead in toys, poison in dog food). No other dentist attempted to back-track the supply chain for the materials they put in our mouths; this one is trying for me. That alone is way above average. Me and my wife visited them and we had a great experience. Brittany did our tooth cleaning, X-Rays and tooth check. She has a very good patience, she ensured the entire process was painless for us. Doctor Powell and Front desk staff are great and very friendly as well. I Strongly recommend this place if you are looking for the best dentist in Charlotte. Great experience. First time to the dentist in a long time and Dr. Martinez took great care of me! My appointment was at 8 am and I was seen on time. They took the time to explain my insurance and out-of-pocket expenses before I left, and I understood what was expected of me and what to expect from them. No issues and the staff was very pleasant. I highly recommend this dentist.

I absolutely love Dr. Powell and her staff. This is an awesome office. I came in today as a new patient and was very nervous because Ive been with the same dental office for the past 8 years. But I am so glad I chose this office and I will be here for the long haul. Everyone is super professional, knowledgeable, and nice. Dr. Powell is extremely thorough, gentle, and patient. She explains everything simply and Theresa completely explains your treatment plan. This was an awesome experience and Im looking forward to my next visit in 6 months.

Dr. Rogers is honestly the first AMAZING dentist I have had in my entire life! She truly cares about getting her patients the treatment they need, as well as explaining why certain procedures are important. She phrases procedures in understandable terminology, and was very gentle and understanding regarding my nervousness. Dr. Rogers and her staff are so compassionate and thoughtful. I felt like I was welcomed into their home. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers to anyone who needs any type of dental work done!

This is really a great place to go to the dentist. Everyone is so friendly and open and willing to answer any questions. Im typically nervous whenever I go, but these folks are really good at making you feel at home and certainly dont shove procedures and costs at you like my experiences at other dental offices!

We followed Dr. Hoy here. My first visit was great. Everyone was very nice and professional. Definitely recommend their dental practice. Have not met the other Drs but Dr. Hoy is A+.

Dr. Rogers is wonderful! Ive been going to this dentist office my entire life, since Dr. Sitterson owned the practice. The office staff is very friendly, the hygienists are very personable and do great work. Dr. Rogers is very thorough and goes to great lengths to make sure you are 100% comfortable and fully informed regarding your dental history and treatment plans. I love the new laser drill technology for fillings! Completely painless, no numbing required, and there was no smell like there is with the traditional drill.

Dr. Natalie is the best dentist I ever had. I had many issues with my denture in the past, dentists as well, but none like Natalie. She is so professional and kind. Something I loved about her, is that she takes the time to explain every step to me in a way I can understand. I highly recommend this place. And not to mention the staff! Nice and friendly people. 6 stars from my end!!!

I was, as I always am, apprehensive about dental work. And, even though the cavity was quite small, I was not in a good place when I arrived at Stellar Dental this morning. However, I can say the staff did everything possible to ensure my comfort as well as a pain-free experience! Dr. Rogers was masterful at keeping my thoughts occupied while she took care of the cavity and the filling. Just had the best experience Ive ever had with a dentist. This was my second trip to Queen City Dental, and I just love how the office works. The staff is so nice and the dentist actually sits in the room with you and listens to you. My procedure was thoroughly explained and went off without a hitch. I loved how the dentist and the assistant were talking and laughing the whole time, it was a really fun atmosphere.

Im new here in the Carolinas so for me finding a dentist office was a little puzzling, so I went online and came across Stellar Dental and decided to give them a try, and Im glad I did. I was up before 3am in pain and didnt know which tooth was causing me pain. I called Stellar Dental today and set appointment for the first time. I was so nervous because I havent seen a dentist in years. The office staff is professional and so kind as I was greeted with a smile. Dr. Rogers is very professional and detailed. She assured me that I was in good hands. Brittany did the Xrays and explain as well what could be the problem. Nothing that was too big for this amazing dental group. The young lady who cleaned my teeth was so patient with me (Im so sorry I didnt remember her name) She was so sweet. She did excellent job on my teeth and showed me what to do for aftercare. This is an excellent place for your dental needs.

I had really great care during my visit everything was well explained to me as far as my services/treatment and condition of my teeth. They were all patient and kind with me and my child in the event I had to bring along my super busy 1yr to my appt. First dentist office Ive been to that didnt hurt me. Dr Rogers was my dentist when she lived in Massachusetts and does great work. My family and friends in the area have also seen her for fillings and other work and highly recommend her. One of my sisters used to dread the dentist until she sat in Dr Roger’s chair. Because of her great sense of humor and bright personality, she just makes you feel comfortable and at ease especially if you get anxious like me when you have to go to the dentist. The cosmetic work Dr Rogers did on my teeth came out great, I would highly recommend her for anyone in the area looking for a new dentist. She truly is the best!

Started coming to this practice a few years ago because it was close to my office. Despite changing jobs and living further away, I continue to come here as the staff is top notch. I started out with Dr. Rogers, but since she mostly works out of the NoDa office, I ended up seeing a few other dentists at the university practice. Today, I had Dr. Hoy and it was a very positive experience. During my exam/cleaning, it was noted that one of my fillings was loose. She was able to my fix my filling right after my cleaning (saving me another trip). Having a good dental hygenist is also very important, and I have pretty much had Brittany since I started. She does such a great job cleaning my teeth, pointing things out, and is very personable!

Doesnt get much easier than this. Receptionists, are welcoming and explained all the paperwork. The assistant was friendly and Dr. Rogers explains everything really well. She also cleaned my teeth which is quite different from my other experiences. This place is cheerful and homey. Thumbs up!!!

I must say that Dr Rogers is super ! I recently had a tooth removed and the wholeexperience was great. She is very compassionate and friendly and will make you feel at ease with the procedure. Also the hygienist Brittany is great too. Queen City Dental makes going to the dentist pleasurable !!

A buddy recommended this dental office to me since I needed to find a regular dentist in Charlotte. I will look no further. The receptionists, hygienist, and doctor were extremely kind, accommodating, and thorough. I could not have had a more pleasant visit. Brittany is a great and competent hygienist--just enough OCD to get the job done right, and gently. So many people dread the dentist, but Dr. Rogers makes the visit a treat. She seems very compassionate about her work. Plus, Dr. Rogers has a great taste in music. And if you arent feeling the music then you can watch television during your appointment. 6 out of 5 if I could.

Dr. Natalie Rogers has been my dentist since she started her practice. I gladly make the 40 minute drive every 3 months to get my teeth cleaned here. Unlike other practices Ive been to in years past, I feel extremely comfortable when I come here. Dr. Natalie, along with the rest of her staff are extremely professional and make you feel at ease. She has given me great advice and I cannot recommend her enough.

So happy I found a dental office close to me. I was having really bad tooth problem and they fit me in the same day. The staff is super friendly and have a nice welcoming vibe. They all have the personalities that they honestly do care for you.

I’m new to Charlotte, so finding a health care provider isn’t easy. I am extremely afraid of the dentist in my twenties...sad right? So it had been a while since I went to a dentist...a few years to be exact. I read these reviews and decided to schedule an appointment, and I was booked for the same day I called. Well Brittany and Dr. Viloria made my experience smooth and my teeth came out beautiful after my cleaning, AND I didn’t have any cavities after all this time. No gum disease, or any other gross needs that would’ve increased my anxiety. A big plus is that the entire staff is polite, including the receptionist team. Thanks guys, you’re angels in disguise! Excellent Dental office. They are extremely friendly and truly care about your comfort. I have never been this comfortable when going to the dentist. They make everything clear to me and give me excellent advice for caring for my teeth.

Im am not afraid of dentists ....Im petrified!! Everyone was amazing from the moment I stepped in the door. They were VERY patient with me...got me relaxed.. And also positive throughout the entire appointment. Yes, I have future work that needs to be done which I knew but they are breaking it up in as needed. I cant speak highly enough and would give them 10 stars if I could!

I had one of the most painful and bloodiest dentist visits of my entire life here. And I only had a cavity filled! The dentist was quite dismissive of my pain and talked over me every time I tried to say something.

I had brought my children there. They didnt seem very friendly. Dr. Rogers seemed on edge, not very pleasant. Anyway you put it I dont think we will be going back.

I hate the dentist. Severe phobia. Everyone there was so nice and super patient with me. I also appreciated how they spoke with me. Other dentists have talked about me like I wasnt even in the room. Everyone took time to explain everything and made me feel so calm. Im actually not dreading going back for fillings!

Clean office. Hygienist was kind and recommended a solution for each of my concerns . Dentist was nice and actually had a good conversation with me, unlike most dentists, who barely say a word and dont provide much feedback.

I went there based on a friends recommendation, their staff are nice and professional. If youre looking for a place for a regular check ups, thats definitely the place to go to.

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t so good. I had requested an appointment that was long enough to do an initial exam and a filling if needed due to my demanding schedule and being a new patient. I was assured that was the case. When I went in, there was no comprehensive exam done, just an x-ray of the troubling tooth, which had to be taken several times to get the right angle. I could immediately tell that they were having difficulty troubleshooting my tooth and the source of pain and treatment. There was no offering of alternate scans or x-rays in order to find the problem or to find a solution for my source of pain. So I was given a toothebrush and floss... told that I brush too hard and to change my toothpaste and what mouth wash to use and sent on my way. I saw Dr. Hoy that day. I left feeling very disappointed as I wasted my money and time coming here and now I have to find the time to seek another dentist and start from scratch again to fix the issue. Then they still had the nerve to call me and ask me to book a cleaning! How bout we fix my tooth first before trying to book a cleaning. I was told i would get a follow up call and haven’t heard from them. Very disappointed.

I am a nervous wreck at dentists offices and they were the kindest gentlest team you could hope for. I actually cant wait to go back and finish the work. I am so grateful to them.

Saw Dr. Rogers to get a crown. Everything was fine but had some pain the next day. I called the office and Dr. Rogers called me back quickly, explained that the pain was normal, and she even texted me over the weekend and make sure the pain was going away! What a great experience knowing that I wasnt forgotten and that they actually cared how i was doing after I left the office.
