I love Dr. Soung. He is amazing. He is professional, fast, and confident. I got my upper wisdom teeth extracted (without sedation). He assured me and gave me comfort. Mind you, i have dental phobia. And lastly, everything went by fast. It didnt take no time:)

Dr Soung and entire staff very efficient and professional. Dr Soung took extra time to ensure I understood the options and procedures. Tooth extraction and implant was done with local anesthesia and absolutely no pain. I’m very happy with results.

Well first, let me say that I only write what I mean vs just to write something.I have a pretty serious dental procedure coming up and I went to Waverly to get a second opinion. The entire experience was just outstanding. From initial greeting to taking their second opinion and having them do the work.I’ve been to a LOT of dental organizations over 50+ years, and these people are simply TOP TIER! I think they actually care as much, if not more, for their patients as they do their business.This is a win-win dental practice and the two dentists I saw (Dr’s Matthews & Soung) are first class acts!

I truly wish I could give more than just 5 stars for this dental office. It is beyond amazing and they take the best care of their patients. I’ve had plenty of appointments before but today my son and I had appointments to have our teeth cleaned. Gianna was amazing with him, The entire staff was so welcoming and did an amazing job with myself and my son. My son is 8 and said that he can’t wait to go back. Seriously, what 8 year old wants to go back to the dentist? Well, when you have one as amazing as this place, it’s easy. Had a tooth removed by Dr. Soung this morning. I was able to get scheduled really quickly, and maybe spent a half hour there from the time i walked in to the time i left. They did an awesome job numbing me well enough that i didn’t feel anything. He also saved me some money from having other unnecessary procedures done that were recommended by other doctors. I have no pain and it seems to be healing well. Honestly could recommend them enough. Emma was great to work with as a surgical assistant and made the whole process significantly easier as well.

I can not think of enough good things to say about Waverly Dental! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! I really appreciate everything they have done.

I called over 2 weeks ago to get pricing on a root canal. I gave Gladys my insurance information and am still waiting on a call back I called to follow up and was told they were waiting on a call back from my insurance company, I contacted my insurance company and was told they did not have a call from this office for pricing and they do not call back the normal practice is they will fax or email the information. I was also advised all they would need to do is tell me their contracted prices and i could have figured out what my out of pocket is. I called another office and they were able to confirm my coverage the same day. Your loss Waverly Dental get better staff!

Just like some other reviewers have stated, these folks must have purchased some bot reviews or something. I had the WORST experience with them. Stop being cheap and get some decent office staff. I called on a Friday afternoon and a Monday morning, and their phone just rang and rang. No answering service or voicemail or phone system, just no answer. Finally I got someone to pick up. She made me a Thursday appointment for me and it was Monday, and I told her to call my dentist and to get my insurance info and let me know how much my visit would cost. 2 days later on Wednesday I got a call from a different lady to confirm my appointment. She informed me that nobody had called to get my insurance info. She said she would call and get it and call me back. Im sorry but I have learned you need to request pricing up-front and it is your right to do so. Im not getting screwed by another medical practice. Not again. I of course never got a call until Thursday some lady called accusing me of missing my confirmed appointment. Saying she would be notifying my dentist and I had confirmed etc... It was the same lady who didnt do her job initially and had the nerve to try and make me feel like I had broken some policy and my dentist would be upset. Lol. Kick rocks Waverly Dental. For one, what kind of medical practice doesnt even have an answering service or anything? Secondly, you have to give pricing up front to patients now if they request it. Its a law. Not just tell them youre going to call them and just hope they show up. This is Charlotte and there are plenty of other places to go with real reviews and professional staff that wont try and screw you.

Waverly Dental checked my temp before I even entered their area. Friendly staff. I did mouth swish and hand washing before they started. Dr Matthews did my first root canal. It was quick and painless. I was so relieved. He and his assistant were very informative and explained each step of the process. Felt extremely comfortable and this experience put me at ease. Very professional staff. Just found myself a new dental home.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Williams. He is a pediatric dentist and he did 4 crowns on my 6 years old without my knowledge. I was told he needed 1 crown 2 months earlier and the rest would be fillings. I was not allowed to be there with him in the room and when he came out I was told he got 4 crowns. Its been few months since and Im still very upset about that. Please take your kids to a different dentist since then we go to a wonderful dentist across the street.

This place is the best I have ever been to. I had 3 terrible dentists before I finally went to Waverly. They are professional, caring, sincere, and the office is so so clean. My family and I wont be back. My husband was provided a normal cleaning that should have been covered by our insurance. They charged him for a deep cleaning, but did not provide anything different that past cleanings from other dentists. I called and really did not seem to care. Very disappointed!

Went for a cleaning today as I am nearly a year behind due to the COVID Pandemic and this is a new dental group for me as well. On my initial appointment, I met with Dr. Matthews who was PHENOMENAL and very detail oriented. His assistant Tamara was very professional and knowledgeable and made things very relaxed and very detailed as well on taking xrays. On today’s visit (9/8/2020), Gianna was my hygienist and I must say that when I left, my teeth felt as if they were too clean! She went above and beyond on this cleaning and paid attention to EVERY detail with my teeth. I am beyond happy with the results of this cleaning and how every detail was taken care over and looked at. Waverly Dental has my business for as long as they are open! So, if you are looking for a new dental office, Waverly is where you should pick and request that Gianna clean your teeth if you are looking for amazing results!

Waverly Dental is AWESOME. I got my wisdom teeth removed a while back and recently went back to get the last two removed. I was so nervous the first time but when i went back the second time, i had to make sureEmma and Dr. Soung were the ones working on my teeth. They made the process so easy and comfortable. Staff at the Waverly Dental in South Charlotte really cares about patients. Do not hesitate to contact this office if you are having a dental emergency. They found time to see me the same day I called. Great care!

Doctors are okay but the staff that takes care of filing insurance and coordinating paperwork with patients is terrible.They sent me my overdue bill 11 months after the date of service- which now I have to go back and fixThey also never properly submitted claim to insurance and I was charged $95 for my visit which should have been covered by insurance in the first place.If I have to do your job for you- whats the point of having office staff. You have one job to do- and cant even do that well.

So I have been having troubles with my own financial situation. Explaining that to them at first when I was there the finance was all nice and friendly saying she could do 500 down and then break it up to two payments after. Now she is saying over the phone after I told her my job is taking some money out of my check which I am dealing with she changes it to 700. THEN I call back distressed because my job is taking even MORE money out of my pocket then before she changes her mind and says it was only bc of my situation. Which is a lie because when I was at the office asking about different ways to pay she offered it then as well. Plus, they won’t allow me to do the nerve block which is less expensive. Also, cool thing I already asked about these days off. Have to get that handled. So she had this attitude after I called distressed and had to cancel and asked about rescheduling and she took that option away from me knowing my situation when I wanted to reschedule with them. Honestly mid panic attack right now. But HORRIBLE customer service. I’ve done nothing but be kind and was only freaking out today. I hope a manager sees this and corrects it. Would love to talk to someone else besides her. And I do not recommend friendly dental or any partners of them. Thank you.

This office is full of superheros! The fact that I called in so much pain with a tooth that needed to be pulled, and was able to get worked in, seen, and fixed in an hour is just amazing! The staff was so helpful, and informative! You can tell theres a lot of team work and great communication! Lastly my oral surgeon was Dr. Parelli and HE WAS SO GREAT! He had such great bedside manner, made me feel comfortable, and was funny which helped since I was getting two back teeth pulled! wouldnt wanna go anywhere else

I am so impressed and thankful I had to share! Dr.Parelli did an incredible job on my implant and he and his team were incredible. He got everything done in 1 appointment and was checking in on me the whole time, his bedside manners are superb, him and his team really made it very pleasant for such a serious extraction and implant. Waverly dental is managed very well, all the front desk girls are super helpful and the manager there she is very accommodating.

This place was 100 stars. I have never been treated so awesome at a Dentist office. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I wish I could come back daily for the awesome customer they give.

The surgery was great, but the Billing Department was horrible. I called 10 different times and left 5 messages for a call back, but never got to speak to anyone.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday morning at Waverly Dental. I have to say, I was taken care of the moment I stepped into the office, and everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. I felt super comfortable and the procedure went smoothly. Would definitely recommend Waverly to anyone who’s scared of finding a good place to have their surgery done. Personally loved how nice the nurses were to me!

The only issue I had was them calling twice to reschedule me. Dr. P had a family emergency which is totally understandable so I wasn’t upset. Otherwise, everyone was very nice and helpful. I’m glad I will be having my surgery with them! (:

Ugh. This felt like a drive through dentist office. Definitely wont be back. Didnt fix the issue but were sure happy to take all my xrays and come up with a treatment plan. The staff was nice but Im not even kidding when I say they kept repeating themselves over and over. It was odd and unprofessional. I felt like I was talking with a bunch of high schoolers and they were reading from a script on how to engage in conversation. The dentist did not seem knowledgeable about a root canal issue I was having and stumbled over her words a bit. She seemed very unsure of a solution and almost frustrated that I asked for another option. They also never asked for my records from my previous dentist which I thought was odd but maybe thats not common practice nowadays? I have family that works in dentistry who treated my teeth in the past (when we lived up north) and they were baffled at some of the things I was told at this visit. I was told I had bone loss because I hadn’t been getting my cleanings every six months...this was the reason I was given. um what? Sorry but you don’t have bone loss unless you have periodontal disease that goes untreated and I’ve never had that nor currently have it. I was told twice that my brushing and flossing were great so the whole conversation was absolutely bizarre. They also don’t clean your teeth at your visit. You have to come back a week later. I sat in the chair so long waiting for the hygienist I almost just showed myself to the door. What’s the point in an appointment if I’m the only one on time?Lastly, their office area is wide open and I listened to another patients conversation about her payment plan and how her husband stopped paying the account etc all while I listened to someone else talking on the phone to another patient. I could see private billing information pulled up on a screen that was on full display for me and anyone else walking by. Either way, would not recommend this place.

I have been coming to this over a little over two years now and every time I come in i feel like a part of the family. Abby is always pleasant to deal with and always has a smile on her face. Also who cannot love the mini aquarium at this office absolute stunning and unique.

I was recommended this place by a dentist I went to in Indian Trail when I was in need of a root canal treatment, and I have to say that for the people who wrote these 1 star reviews, Ive no clear idea what they are/were on about.The place is welcoming when you first step in, check in was simple and easy, was able to confirm the check in over my phone too in the form of text. All I had to do was wait a few minutes, about 10 or so minutes before I was brought right into the back.The nurse who had brought me in was wonderful, bombastic, and charismatic and made the whole starting process rather wonderful than tedious (especially having gone for 3 beforehand in the same week).Dr. Novick was just as wonderful to meet as well, and while I wish I was able to have the root canal done that day, that would be not the case. But they were kind enough to get me done the next morning before I had to depart for a good bit over a week.I wasnt disappointed, and I am glad I know where to go if I ever need Oral Surgery or a second opinion for one!

I had a tooth extraction and implant installed by Dr. Perrelli. His bedside manner and attention to detail was outstanding! I would highly recommend!

I have been here twice now and each time I was treated very well and politely the staff and the dentists. I underwent treatment for a pair of cavities today undetected by previous dentists because Dr Wynn is so careful and pays such attention to detail. After the procedure a constant low grade ringing in my ears whenever is...gone! As is a constant low grade migraine I have had for about three weeks now. I loved this place so much I am now going to get an invisilign treatment here to help correct my teeth.

I have seen my share of dentists during my almost 60 years and can say that Dr Natalie Nguyen is not your typical dentist. She genuinely cares about you and gets to know you. She does everything she can to insure your comfort during your visit and most of all, does outstanding dental work. I highly recommend her!

Referred by my primary dentist for a wisdom teeth extraction and root canal retreatment. Staff was nice had a little bit of a wait and some paper work to fill out but had a great set of dental assistants. Funny and friendly I had a good experience.

I had a tooth that had previously had a root canal done on. The tooth now needed to come out. Dr. Parelli was so good, and I experienced absolutely no pain! I had general anesthetic and I didnt even feel the needle going in!! There was no pain or discomfort ever. And the entire visit was only 30 minutes from walking in to walking out. Every staff member that I dealt with was professional, caring, and concerned for my well being. I will definitely recommend Waverly Dental to friends and family!

We recently moved to Charlotte. While attempting to find a new dental office for my family I was referred to Waverly after other offices had long waits for new patients. We were able to quickly get appointments. All off the staff are very courteous and encouraging.

I have been going to Waverly Dental for a year now. The first day I walked thru the door my crown had fallen out in the front of my mouth, which I considered to be an emergency, I was not a patient but they took me right in and fixed the problem. I have experienced nothing but excellent service from the dental side and the oral surgeon side. Since then I have had teeth pulled, bone grafts, partials, implants, bleaching, etc. Trust me when I say it has been a long process. Don’t come here unless u want to eat on one side of your mouth for a year because they messed up your cavity fillings and touched a nerve hehe!

Waste of time and money... As the mother of a newborn I was looking for a closer dentist and saw the great reviews. I was told when they scheduled me that they could get me in and out with my simple cleaning. I spent forever in the waiting room and even longer in the chair to get a cleaning, which ended up just being some sort of pre-cleaning overview and class. They told me I had to have a deep cleaning because I had periodontal disease and had a possible cavity, a cleaning was not possible. I couldn’t afford this so I went to my original dentist several months later for a second opinion and did not have any cavities, no deep cleaning and no periodontal disease. I strongly encourage you to get a second opinion!!!

This place is really good . They took very good care of me . Dr Nguyen did my treatment and it was a great experience.

My teenage son recently had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Parelli. The entire process and procedure was top-notch...from the front desk staff, assistants, surgeon and even the gentleman who assisted my son into the car after the procedure. The staff does an excellent job of providing you information about what to expect during the initial consultation. On the day of his removal, we were given every detail about what to expect during the healing days, pain management, oral care and foods to eat/avoid. They left no question unanswered! The care and concern for their patients even shows after you leave the office. I received a phone call the same day from Dr. Parelli as a follow up to make sure all was well and an additional phone call from a staff member the next day. I would highly recommend Dr. Parelli and his staff to anyone needing oral surgery!

Dr. Parelli was so good, and I experienced absolutely no pain during my wisdom teeth extraction surgery.

Friendly people and willing to work with you as long as you communicate your situation to them. I may be the only person that loves going to the dentist and having pleasant people work on your teeth makes it even better!!

Dr. Cavanaugh is wonderful. She explains everything shes doing before she starts and as shes performing the procedure. All of the office staff are friendly too.

The staff and doctors here are very friendly. They make sure to explain clearly all the treatment plan and bills to me. This is now my familys Dental, one stop shop even for the kids.

Im so glad me and my children started going here. Dr. K and his staff are so patient-centered (a rarity these days). Also, their office is state of the art, it makes me feel like they stay on the cutting edge of dental technology. Its also brand new and modern ( wifi and TVs for patients), which makes coming in so much better. Best of all though is they are gentle, and meticulous in their work because who really loves getting dental work done?!

I felt like i was being held at knife point and told... Get the deep cleaning done for XYZ dollars or not. They were not open to a regular cleaning saying its at my peril the insurance may or may not cover... I will see if a hygienist is there willing to clean your teeth.... . The language and the way it was put across was so threatening. Will never ever go there and the place is very unprofessional. Lot of noise and chatter among staff..... not much of work.... HGTV plays loud and the hygienist just grabbed my handbag and hung it on a hook without even asking.
