The maintenance team here deserves a 5 star rating. They handle maintenance requests regularly within 24-48 hrs and sometimes quicker! They are very professional and respectful. Jeff, (I think Hodges), has been here since I moved in, is the asset to the Glen Haven community. If you like an efficient maintenance team where you live....this is the place for you. Priced right. Somewhat quiet neighborhood. Parking is challenging at times. Office staff is professional. Online access to requests and billpay is available. The mulch could use some removal and replacement in less visable areas.

Outside bugs always in the apartment, all types including lizards. Upstairs neighbors makes so much noise throughout the day its ridiculous. The so call pool on site is never open, summer is about over and they still havent open it. The office is not good at all with notifying tenants about anything, they expect you to know everything. Even if you give them info on something and expect to hear back from them... Nothing! They pretty good with giving you late notices on water and rent OF COURSE. Neighborhood is quiet in the front part, cant speak for all throughout. And they always changing their rent policy just to make you late and pay more. Mold also growing inside bedroom on windows.Pic below lizard inside apartments, they squeeze in from somewhere, happened more than once.

I have been living here nearly 16 years and i have never had a problem with the staff a very nice crew---- recently i had an maintenance emergency it was on a Saturday- typically the office is closed weekends it just so happened the sink in my bathroom the nozzle was broken and water was seeping through partly onto the floor and into the basin from the handle....i called the maintenance line left a message- within 2 min Jeff called me back he came over to check out the problem and spent much of his Saturday fixing the issue- today my sink is completely fixed with no further problems since and if it wasnt for Jeff my place could have been destroyed by the water. I thank Jeff for handling that emergency quickly. 5 out of 5 starrrrrrrrrrrrs *****.

I have lived at Glen Haven for 6 months now and I absolutely love it! The ladies in the office helped me with everything and made my move from Arizona so easy. I love the location 5 minutes to the airport. Great prices so reasonable and clean, cute apartments.

MY EXPERIENCE HERE HAS BEEN VERY GOOD. I HAVE BEEN HERE APPROX. 8 YEARS. DURING MY WHOLE STAY THE STAFF HAS BEEN GREAT AND RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY TO MY NEEDS HERE. I HAVE HAD GREAT NEIGHBORS. ITS QUIET AND THOUGH I KNOW THINGS CAN HAPPEN ANY WHERE YOU LIVE I HAVE FELT RELATIVELY SAFE HERE. IF MY CIRCUMSTANCES ALLOWED IT I WOULD CONTINUE TO LIVE HERE. I love my apartment. Ive been here going on 3 years. Within 3 years my rent has gone up $100. I understand they have to keep up with surrounding rates but Ive noticed that the square footage listed on the website keeps changing every time they up the price. Whenever I first signed my lease my apartment was listed at 565sq feet but now that the price has went up I see they have listed the square footage as almost 700 square feet. Water and insurance isnt included anymore. I was hoping that maybe they would have made improvements like a method to pay rent online by now.. or something. Also I have noticed the huge bugs. Someone came and sprayed but by the time I closed the door and picked my computer off of the living room floor he was already finished. I was kind of disappointed. I have a really bad spider problem and before he walked out I asked would he be able to spray the outside of my door. I have to keep a broom outside of my door because I always have spiders either hanging from the roof over my door or actually on my door. He said yes but as soon as I closed my door he left walking down the steps. I hope things get better. I hate moving and I really love my apartment and the location of it.

I love my apartment. Very nice place to live. Me and my dog have no problems staying here. Staff is nice and will fix any problem asap. When i 1st moved in they hooked my washer and dryer up for me and provided the correct dryer cord for me with no charge.

Im interested in a 1 bedroom i spoke to amber & we agreed I call back then less than 4 minutes nobody answers the phone. I would like to speak to a manager this involves I need a apartment ASAP due to upcoming job transfer

I was robbed twice at gunpoint at this complex. One time after coming home from work (I worked 4PM-12AM at the time) and another time coming home from school at 2PM on a weekday (they tried taking my car). I also came home to a bullet hole in my bedroom wall one day. I decided to break my lease since it wasnt safe. I stayed 4 days into a new month. I was then charged a regular rate for leaving early per their standard lease agreement, even given the circumstances, which totaled $749.93. So, no consideration was offered through this ordeal. Not my favorite 8 months of life living in an apartment. The maintenance guys were pretty great, though. Outside of that, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

We have been residents since 2015. Apartment was clean, ready to move in. Pest control service, on sight maintenance, lawn care maintained, call if there is an apartment issue and polite office management. Good location to the interstate.

Very Quiet, Well kept environment, peaceful more older adults then young children in the community. Very affordable this location was like Heaven sent the price and quality, so glad I was lead to this opportunity. On site 24 hour security and maintenance, cant ask for more!

This is a great apartment complex. The staff is nice, neighbors are quiet, and the apartments are spacious. I would recommend it to anyone, especially with the great neighborhood communication tenants receive.

Very reasonable apartment to live in but there is constantly shooting in the air at night. Its scary that u have to be scared to sleep in your own home. There are always bugs coming in the apartment. They allow people with more than 5 kids to live in a 1bdrm and they constantly make noise outside. The only good thing is the maintenance people. Dont move here if u want your life.

Getting an apartment took a little longer than we had hoped it would. We like the great service from the office and the great value we get with the apartment. We have already recommended to several people.

I put in my maintenance request for my dishwasher and it was replied to and taken care of the same day by close of business. GH always, always strives to fill the needs of the tenants, at least they do with me, and I cant say I appreciate it enough. Been here a little over 3 year. Very quite.I have really good neighbors. The office personal are very professional always when I call to let then know the a/c is broken or other problem they send the maintenance personal to fix it right away, Also, I am nearby my gym (planet Fitness) and there are a lot of stores just around like Waltmart, family dollars, post office, gmc, and other store, I love it here.

I resided at these apartments for 2 years and my stay was awful. The leasing agent and manager are bias and insensitive to your safety and any other concerns that you bring to them. They are unprofessional to the point of losing your rent payments that were paid 2 months in advance. They put an eviction notice on my door then hours later they called and apologized, stating that MY rent money (of 2 months) had been applied to another apartment. Secondly, a lady who had been shot, knocked on my door in attempt to come into my home because she feared for her life. I didnt open the door because you never know with people now a days. The police arrived 10 minutes later where I learned the lady had been raped across the street. When I spoke to the rent office, they were insensitive towards my concern and stated that I would have to pay 3 months rent to break my lease. Lastly, in December 2017, I came home from work (at 4pm) to find my apartment was broken in to. The repairs to fix the entry, where the burglars entered, were not made in a timely matter. These repairs were finally completed the following week causing me to evacuate my home until repairs were made. I spoke with the Property Manager with my concerns, and she compared my safety at my apartment, to our local Walmart (on Wilkinson), stating that “you dont have security when you go to Walmart, which I found to be very degrading and bias. I eventually broke my lease because Glen Haven is not a safe place to live. The customer service is horrible and I would never recommend anyone to call this place their home. There is no need for any feedback from Teresa or Amber.Thanks in advance.

Horrible place to stay does nothing about people who live across the street harassing you. Cars get broken into once a month or less. Fix the gate, but made it high enough for people to slide under. So, basically didnt fix anything. I reported multiple times about my neighbor shooting up my apartment and car with a paintball gun. They did nothing about it, said i feared for my life asked them out of my lease they said no.

Im actively looking for a apartment was interested until i read the recent reviews....def. Sounds like a bad area and bug problems that no one can control im good

They turn my brother down for a apt because he had a non violence felony from twenty years ago since then he has not been in trouble has kept a job did what man should do. But they so high and glory but you had a resident who shot at the police when they came to arrest him and the police end up killing him there also a lady I work with got a violence felony sents being there but they dnt kno so I see it as a blessing that my brother wasnt giving apt because his wife and kids dnt need that drama and fear. So stop judging somebody off there past we all have one. Oh by the way a week after he was turnt down the guy got shot on his porch when he shot at the police. My brother was approved for a three bedroom apt on the south they dnt look past ten years

To sum this place up Over Priced Projects Loud music, gun shots in the night, helicopter lights beaming down on US not the freeway, bad area, hookers at the corners, little to no amenities, airplane noises and the high volume of traffic. Trash is usually piled really high and bursting out the gates (except for in the front where the future residents park.The staff is so nice and friendly that they never gave us a tour of the property. Instead we received a finger pointing us in the direction of where to go FIND OUR APARTMENT.. I had to find the mailbox and trash myself once moved in my mailbox is BEHIND BUSHES. OH, they told us about all of the strict rules and hidden fees of the future as we were going through and signing the lease.**WARNING false advertisement** no pets or visiting pets I had to sign a policy stating Ill be held accountable $75 per time Im seen with an animal. (Now ppl claiming they can have pets) I NEVER received that notice...Privacy FORGET IT unless youre lucky enough to get an apt with a divider on your porch or a front apt... other than that your neighbor(s) can cross your way. Which means passing by your bedrooms for their convenience including all of their visitors at ANY time (The shocker) EVERY apt has its own set of stairs to use and even though in GH video it states YOUR own personal patio its NOT true. GH staff has argued its ok for others to use your side because we are only renting you an apt not the false advertisement of OUR own patio and privacy. The neighbors I have crossing over is the worst kind, LOUD, Walking hard, clacking heels etc. When I told management Teresa she said my neighbor been here for years and hasnt had any problems from her .. Im sure thats probably a LIE... Im very quiet (stealth) so theres no reason these ladies should be so rude and they run up and down the stairs so frequent Im sure its done purposely and some nights its up to 3am-4am. However management do NOTHING about asking them to be courteous.Its a reason the turnover rate is high in these apts.The floor plan is boring (my opinion) DONT try to add personality to your apartment youll be in violation some how. READ THE SMALL PRINT. Youre going to pay. I didnt have to pay anywhere else for simple things.At this point Glen Haven Apartments of Phillips Management will not have us as tenants EVER again.*****as Im writing this review its gun shots outside... And its different guns as someone is returning fire WOW 4xs in less than 30 days smh***** (5/2015)SNOW DAY!!!!! (1/2016)They havent salted or plowed anything, Ive NEVER lived in an apt where they did NOTHING for days... Maintenance live on site, others may be contracted but NO SALT and ask how many accidents on this property this weekend. How many ppl couldnt get out because of the steep icy hills? Yet the WHOLE city of Charlotte streets are ashy gray because it hasnt snowed or rained in two days. So this is unacceptable to be trapped in your complex until GH FINALLY wants to do something about it.***I just witnessed an accident***Oh..Those paid or employee reviews are cute. Dont fall for it.

Car got broken into last week ... you pay 5$ to take out your own trash ... will not be renewing my least .
