Staff is very friendly .Convenient to shopping. I personally have had no issue. Management answer questions promptly. They have been very understanding and helpful. For the most part very quiet environment. - From a verified resident.
Ready to spend oner $1000 a month to live in a place where security is an amenity and all amenities are optional? This is the place. Want practice filling out police reports for car accidents or break ins? This is the place. Want complacent management who wont hire security or install security cameras despite the tenants asking for them? This is the place. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I filled out an application on Tuesday was approved Wednesday! Kelsey was Great she answered all my questions and calls even though I can be annoying sometimes she always greeted and respected me each interaction. The move was so smooth. I love the apartment. When I picked up my keys I saw the manager walking around I asked her a question she walked with me answered my questions she Showed me around. She stopped what she was doing to speak with me. The apartment I love it. Nice area. Very spacious. Elevators, visitors parking, game room, pool (even though some are not open due to Covid) trash pick up. If I could give 100 stars I would. You ladies were awesome and customer service exceeded my expectations. Thank you ❤️
Dont move here! They arent luxury apartments and management is awful!
This complex was excellent when I moved in 2017 and Perimeter Lofts owned it. Everything was grade A, the residents took pride in the community and it stayed clean & safe, I loved it. Once the property was sold to Celsius, it went downhill quick. Issues that are constantly reported but never addressed: poor maintenance request fulfillment, missed trash pick-up, visitors constantly parking in the residents spaces, trash in the parking lots, car theft and vandalism, filthy hall & breeze ways loud tenants, no amenities available and the outside of the buildings look awful.... I would not recommend it until they do better by their tenants!
I have not had a problem with any of the staff whether it be the apartment management or the maintenance. The office staff have always been kind, compassionate, and professional. Extremely quick to respond when I reach out to them. Maintenance has been quick to respond and quick to fix even the most minor issues. I follow the terms of my lease, they follow the terms of my lease. Prior to moving in I rented a townhouse in Kannapolis. Mold, appliances that didnt work, leaking pipes, etc. and the friendly neighborhood pharmaceutical rep dealing drugs within 20 feet of my back door. I called the Kannapolis police MANY times and they never even showed up. I thinking most of the reviews on here come from people who have no idea how horrible things can be when you rent. Its apartment living. Unfortunately you share a community with some people who are inconsiderate, disrespectful and rude. You are not going to find an apartment ANYWHERE that does not have tenants like that. Ive honestly never heard gunshots, not saying there has not been any but I can honestly say I have never heard them. Ive heard the police helicopter but guess what? You live in a big city and there is going to be crime. There are things that the management cannot control. They cant be out on the property all day to catch the tenants who dont clean up after their dog. They cant be out on the property all night and confront the inconsiderate jerk out in the parking lot yelling with their music thumping. They cant walk the property all day to catch the nasty trash that someone left in the breezeway. Management responds as best they can. Again, it is apartment living and I truly believe you are not going to find better. I also truly believe all the Celsius employees do everything they can to make this a nice and safe community. Amenities not available? We are living in a pandemic. The apartment staff are trying to protect all of us from increasing the spread of Covid. ALL apartment communities have been forced to make those temporary changes. I love my apartment. It is very convenient to I485 and I77. My apartment is beautiful. I love the layout. Huge bathrooms. Big windows with lots of sunlight. When I moved in it was clean and well taken care of. The appliances are really nice. They provide big sized washer and dryers. In this area the rent is very reasonable compared to similar communities. I am very pleased and feel blessed to live here.
Renewing here was really the worst decision I could’ve made, but desperate times call for desperate measures. In my two years of living here I have dealt with lack of communication amongst management, sitting in a hot apartment in summer time with no a/c for extended periods of time, and a plethora of other issues management and community related. Unfortunately I am trapped in this lease until May 13th, but if this review can help even one person, RUN, do NOT lease here. There are better properties up the road.
It is very disturbing to see such negative reviews that go back more than a year. Im concerned for my relative that has recently moved there. It has been said that the amenities have not been opened since before Covid. And then I see a review from an old resident who stated the following:-Gunshots regularly heard outside our window-Broken glass and trash in hallways-Fire alarms in complex going off at random times-Cars being broken into at night-Weed smell coming through our vents-Thin walls and loud/disrespectful neighbors-Drug deals happening in parking lot-Leasing office refuses to acknowledge or respond to emails-Maintenance requests are not responded to in a timely mannerMy question is....When does this improve? When is management going to step it up? These are serious issues and the rent is too high for such happenings.
My experience has been great since I moved in, leasing agents helped me with no complaints during move in.I see people complained about valet trash but it gets picked up every night. Our hallways got power washed and look great. And also it’s quiet and people don’t bother you which I like! So so far so good!
Dhaja is awesome! Went above and beyond throughout the entire leasing process and all of my service requests have been taken care of the day of or the day after which is great. Very quiet complex and youre so close to everything. Will definitely be recommending Celsius!
Still no response regarding my deposit...I’ve been waiting for over 3 months. The office doesn’t answer, Hercules living doesn’t return voicemails or calls! I deserve my deposit back I had to move because of the over growth of MOLD!!! I want my check!
I just recently moved to perimeter lofts, now Celsius, and I have no complaints. It’s still early but so far so good. The move-in process was easy and smooth. The leasing agents are attentive and helpful. The apartment grounds are clean and well kept.
Ive been here since before the new name and this new management team has come in and is taking care of business I liked living here before but I LOVE living here now. Staff is friendly and attentive. Maintenance issues are taken care of swiftly and that new groundskeeper is doing an amazing job keeping the place together. I would highly recommend Celsius apartments to anyone anytime!
Perimeter lofts is a great community. It was cool under Greystar but its even better under Hercules. The customer service is good. I have no complaints. I actually enjoy coming home to this community. I feel safe and when I do have concerns they are addressed in a timely fashion. I would recommend this property to family & friends.
I have not moved in yet. I was skeptical regarding the reviews and the lack of communication. However, the actual property looked well maintained and Caitlin took the initiative to get me all the information needed for my move-in. She definitely changed my perspective.Once I am all moved in, I will be sure to update my review.
Absolutely love living here. Ive lived in a few different apartment complexes, and this is by far my favorite. The lofts are modern and spacious- with large windows in the living area. Extremely dog friendly- there is a dog spa and a dog park in the area. Another highlight of living here that makes a difference is the staff. They are extremely friendly, helpful and personable. My dog loves going by the office every day for a treat and some attention!
Ms. Trameka was awesome!!! She helped us move in to our new apartment with ease. If you stop by ask for her
I just moved in a few days ago. I love it... the staff has been nothing short of amazing. And I love the apartment. I can say I wish the parking was easier as well as the visitor parking wasnt always full. Other than that, so far so good. Great experience! Thank you
I went on a tour of these apartments a couple of days ago and I was impressed. Ruth was very helpful and extremely friendly. The model apartment was staged nicely and I enjoyed the refreshments they offered. As with most apartments, I was only showed a model, but it wouldve been nice to see an actual vacant apartment. The property overall looked well maintained and the price I was quoted wasnt as expensive as what I was expecting. Im still searching, but if I do move to Charlotte, Ill keep these in mind.
Ive lived here for over two years. Staff is relatively pleasant. When management changed to Hercules living, I thought that they were better. I was wrong. My emails are still not getting responded to and they do not answer the phone. Its beyond frustrating to live in a complex where you cannot have your questions/concerns responded to within days (if ever). I had higher hopes and Im extremely disappointed. The complex itself has been a clean, safe place for me if we arent taking the management team into consideration. Maybe they just need more staff, not sure. I hope they can figure it out.
Moving into Perimeter Lofts was an awesome decision for my husband and I. This is our first apartment, and we had a lot of questions about our lease and our community. Joanna in particular was always very quick and thorough in answering our e-mails. Additionally, she recognized us and knew our names each time we came in and saw her. This seems to be a trait the whole staff has. They made us feel incredibly welcome and at home by knowing who we are and following up on things like our toilet not working (which was resolved by a very kind and efficient maintenance worker that same day!). Its an awesome community!
This property is poorly managed. I’m not sure about other buildings but mine is disgusting. It hasn’t been pressure washed in months. We pay $25+ for trash services but trash and spills are constantly left in the hallways and on the stairs. You constantly have to watch where you step. Some pet owners allow their pets to urinate in the halls where we all walk. Dog feces can also be found in the hallways. Once Hercules Real Estate Services took over this property things went downhill. They have a parking decal policy which they violated and they towed several residents when they weren’t supposed to. There was no problem with parking in phase 1, so I’m sure this was just a plan to make money off of residents and their visitors. Celsius violated their own policy but the property manager (who is no longer at Celsius) didn’t do much to get me a full refund. After hiring an attorney I received a full refund from the unprofessional towing company. My building(closest to the leasing office) had an infestation of flies due to the trash not being properly disposed of. Management didn’t tell us of this infestation but I was almost driving myself crazy trying to figure out why SOOOOOOO many flies were coming in my apartment. At one point the property only had one maintenance worker so all of my request for cleaning the common areas were ignored. It’s difficult to get in contact with anyone from the office and getting a follow up Hercules is non-existent. I would only recommend this property to people that don’t mind walking around in other peoples and animals filth on a regular basis. I look forward to my departure next month!
Terrible management. It takes weeks to get maintenance to respond to any requests even emergencies. Never answered phones. Never fixed equipment in gym for at least the last 18 months I lived there. Someone from maintenance staff stole AirPods while fixing dishwasher and company did nothing. I could go on with several other stories.
The management prior was way better than whoever is over Celsius. The complex is undergoing multiple changes however there is a lack of communication in regards to trying to speak to someone in the office when you have concerns. During business hours at that, I do not recommend.
My boyfriend & I moved into this complex a couple of months ago and we absolutely love living here. The leasing office staff was quite helpful during our application/move-in process and they have still been very kind. Kelsey, one of the leasing specialists, went above and beyond, ensuring that we were taken care of at all times. She truly cares about her job and the residents. It just shows. Our apartment is very spacious, the layout is great and the unit was in excellent condition. The neighborhoods amenities are great as well and having 2 sets of everything (gym, pool, etc.) has been awesome. We hardly ever even notice that we have neighbors on each side of our unit, because we just dont hear them. The grounds are well kept and very well lit in the evenings. Also, all of our neighbors have been pretty plesant. I would highly recommend this complex!
I cant say enough about how well pleased I am with deciding to make Perimeter Lofts my new home, it has a sense of community feel to it.. I knew from the very first visit, this was where I wanted to be. The staff (especially Joanna), maintenance crew, residents, etc.. have all been excellent! I like the warm inviting environment, attentiveness and prompt response of the staff...extremely convenient location. I love my new home so far!!!
OK to start off as you walk upon the community it is really isnt in a prime location with stores, restaurants and shops. As I took self guided tour around the community I started noticing the community its beening taken care of 🙁. The reviews are true about everything thats being said. #disappointed #nothereDO NOT LIVE HERE
Perimeter lofts has been an amazing place to live! The entire staff is so great, especially Joanna MacCutcheon in the leasing office! I recently had to transfer apartments and she made it so easy and convenient. She was very helpful and informative through the entire process. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone and for you to go through Joanna. Great community for dogs, monthly events in the clubhouse for free, and a great location!
I moved here in November. It hasnt even been 2 months and I already regret living here. Nothing but problems!! If you do decide to live here keep records of everything!!! All the other negative reviews are absolutely correct!
Shout out to Perimeter Lofts for being very considerate after someone attempted to break into my car and left $4000 worth of damage on my vehicle. When my wife asked about the possibility of cameras in the parking lot, she was told they were illegal in NC. Meanwhile, the apartments are literally surrounded by parking lots for retail stores, which do in fact have cameras. Another shout out to management for not answering the phone when the water was out for over 24 hours. Last shout out for the lack of effort put towards maintenance requests. Were still waiting weeks later just to get a light bulb changed on the outside lighting for our stairwell.
Was so excited to move in to my new apartment thanks to Ms.Trameka she was alot of help & had patients when we didnt have everything. So ask for her when you come visit.
Great experience overall living here for almost a year now. Staff and maintenance is also very good. Joanna has been a great help at all times mainly when I transferred to a different unit. Highly recommend to move here!
Unprofessional, tried to lie and say we didn’t pay our application fee and that the record wasn’t on file, luckily our bank backed us up. Would not recommend if you want honesty. And if you plan on living there, have all record of payments so they don’t steal from you.
Enjoyed my time here so far. Havent had any issues getting in touch with the staff or getting any problems fixed. Location to Northlake is super convenient and is a short drive to uptown. Joanna has been wonderful, super helpful and quick to respond to my concerns!
Joanna in the front office is incredibly helpful and friendly. My wife and I consider her to be our friend! She rented out her first apartment to us and shes been available and reliable our entire stay.
I wish I could give Perimeter Lofts a negative score. Every since Hercules Living has taken over the management of the property NO maintenance requests are responded to and the buildings are disgusting; full of trash and strong smells of marijuana. Do not move here ! It was a nice complex under Grey Star but it is now nothing more than trash.
The place is always dirty. The stairs are dirty, the hallways, the recycling center can’t even be used, trash around the complex that of course my dogs always are trying to pick up. The pool isn’t taken care of. I called the other day to tell them it’s er flowing and it’s still overflowing. Unfort if the complex manager and people that work here don’t show it any love and reinforce anything then it just goes to cap which it has.
Dirty. They have not taken care of the simple trash cans around the property. Informed the manager was told it would be taken care of and here we are 5 days later and can is over filling. If trash is picked up nightly why has this not been addressed. When you go back in to tell them or remind them they say they are aware of the issue?! Really but you haven’t done anything about it. Complete jokeUpdate.6/29/2019.....still hasn’t been addressed I wish I can post the picture. Let’s see how long this goes unaddressed
You dont want to live here! lmao
If youre looking in the area, keep looking. Are any amenities actually offered? Phase I had a computer lab and a gym that you cant enter before 8am (despite advertising). And forget about actually being able to use the computers because the internet hasnt worked in the 3 months Ive lived here.Phase II looks really nice, but once the leasing office closes, you lose access to the other computer lab and amenities.
BEWARE. You will not get what you pay for. Leasing staff changes constantly. Nearly impossible to communicate or interact with anyone who has a clue as to what is going on. Cooperate office takes nearly two weeks to follow up and thats only because I took off work and demanded a return call. Hercules Living cares only about inflating rent and nothing about the residents. Lastly, there the noise is ridiculous and the smell of heavy Marijuana reeks the hallways. Hercules spent thousands of dollars painting and remodeling the club house but has not changed the filthily carpet in the halls. We all know a clean house means nothing with dirty carpet. Welcome to the GHETTO. I will add photos soon.
THE BEST COMPLEX I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Perimeter by far has been the best experience possible. The transition from my last place for once has been very smooth. Perimeter loft offers so much with outstanding updates and amenities throughout the complex. Now of course every complex has its flaws but i have no complaints here at all. Ive told several of my friends and so many of my family members have came to visit and absolutely love my new place. Every staff member regardless of what time of day it is greet you with a smile and very willing to help, however dont just take me word for it, come see for yourself, you wont regret it.jsales...
If i could rate no stars i would. There is a constant smell of weed. Always loud music playing but never know where to find where its coming from. Even when you tell the office they give you rub on your back as though there going to do something but then do nothing. Dont know when the teens go school seems like there never there. When walking around people dont clean up after there dogs. They say have 24 hour service when actually its whenever they get to it. I am so glade that i do not have to live here no more STAY AWAY
We recently sold our house and moved to Perimeter while our new home is being built. We are happy here and the responsiveness of the courteous staff is always prompt. I highly recommend Perimeter Lofts!
Great location, great amenities. The other comments are severely exaggerated, especially about the cost of living here. If Perimeter Lofts were in center city Charlotte, youd easily pay double, if not triple what the rent is currently. The clubhouse area is always clean (Ive only seen poop in the hallway once in over a year of living here and it had been removed when I walked back 15 minutes later), and the people in the leasing office have been nothing but helpful since I moved in. Just renewed my lease a few days ago.I will say that there are a lot of younger tenants at Perimeter, so there will be noise at times. But its never gotten to the point where Ive had to report it.
This review may be all over the place due to the fact that my blood is boiling literally. Where do I start? So this place was amazing when under greystar! So great in fact I decided to apply, found out it was now owned by hercules living.. So I proceed to apply, they gave me the run around for weeks then finally gave me an interview after I hassled them. Then they continued to give me the runaround about hiring me. (I applied may 8th, chased them down for weeks, interview june 8th, current date july 17th. Still no information) so while all of that was going on our a/c unit stopped working. We put in a work order (which they are clearly backed up on and barely any workers on site) someone comes out does something.. And it still doesnt work. Were like ok.... We put in another work order same thing but he manages to make the a/c work for two days... So you can see we did this for weeks (over 5 at this point). Calling, putting in request, calling after hours services.. Basically we get nowhere. Mind you its summer and the weather is well over 90 degrees. So you guessed it our home is 80+ degrees everyday. Theres an odor, our items have melted and we have breathing problems at night. My mother is older so its harder for her. Weve been to the hospital a few times due to developing health issues because if the UNLIVEABLE CONDITIONS. So I began to get frustrated every day I wake up over heated, not getting much rest, physical illness due to the poor conditions. So now up until this point. I called (07-15/07-17) The manager hung up on me several times, the leasing agents hung on me. One got smart and said this remark o I know, its you. You keep calling about it like.. Wouldnt you if you pay rent for a place that you expect to be liveable? Im reporting this business to the BBB, called cooperate. Guess what no respone. My advice to you. Dont move here unless you like UNLIVEABLE CONDITIONS.
We moved here in October and at first we loved it... until things started to break in the apartment. Two doors need to be rebalanced, the disposal doesn’t work, balcony door won’t lock. I’ve put in a maintence request about 3 weeks ago and have yet to have anyone come take a look to fix all the issues. Also this morning, we woke up to no water. I’ve tried to reach the office but of course, they don’t answer!!! They also had painters doing work on the outside of the apartments which is fine, but let your tenants know there will be workers out there and wet paint! Really considering on breaking our lease to move out of this place.
Since Hercules living took over from Greystar, thing have been horrendous. The place is filth, the gyms are a mess and the most annoying part, they never answer the phone. Ive literally sat in their office and dialed the office number multiple times and they were busy chit chatting not even acknowledge the phone. You put in an emergency work order (water leak) they tell you to manage the situation until they get to you, with no timeline. Its a shame. I used to recommend this place to my coworkers during the previous management. Now I just cant wait for my lease to be over. This the worst Ive ever experienced in all my years renting.
If youre a visitor, like I was, be prepared to get towed even when there is no parking. My friend who lives here says that someones car is always getting broken into and that there are always loud noises. Also, cops get called here a lot due to the noise and domestic violence. Cant wait for my friend to move out of this unsafe complex!
I Love living here. I have no complaints..
New management is awful. I hope they switch back to the former management. Lack of resident care, poor communication, poor attitude, inconsiderate. Please look past the allure of this place and apply your funds elsewhere, like the Wren Northlake for instance.
Perimeter Lofts is now under new management (Hercules Living). Ever since Hercules Living took over, this place has gone down hill. I submitted a maintenance request OVER a week ago and it still hasnt been completed. Every time I visit the leasing office, they tell me it will get completed the next day, and it never does. They are never around to answer the telephone and when I send an email, they ignore it. They are the absolute worst Management staff ever. The only reason I am giving Perimeter Lofts 2 stars is out of respect of Greystar Living (previous management). STAY AWAY from this place!!! Hercules Living is incompetent and they dont have the mental capacity to do their job.
The apartment itself is pretty nice and I wasnt able to hear the other residents most of the time. The staff is a mixed bag, some are very nice and accommodating while others seem very put upon when asked to do anything. Also the tow company they use towed my girlfriends car, and completely destroyed its bumper in the process. They denied doing any damage to the car and would only pay for the repairs after I threatened a lawsuit. Management said they were changing tow companies but a year later they are using the same one still. Also the pool area is often completely filled with non-residents without bracelets and there is no security keeping them out. Whole families of obnoxious people grilling out and making tons of noise.
Management is terrible since the switch. My packages are always “missing” untold days later when it was in the back. Maintenance requests take long to be fulfilled. Long waits. And understaffed
One of the worst managements I have dealt with. The place is dirty, the carpet is nasty and the ceiling are pilled off. We have told them about 8 times to please clean the property and they always replied saying the next Monday they will have the cleaning company do this....its been a year...The staff is rude, disrespectful and negligent ( no wonder why there is always new people there ). The rent payment here is extremely high so go somewhere else where you really see your money and a place where you pay for luxurious and ALSO live in a luxurious cause the only thing luxurious about this place is the rent!!
Great place to live- been here almost 2 years and havent had any issues. Great neighbors
As far as living at Perimeter Lofts, it was good. The apartment was nice, although we did get the handicap apartment which was laid out differently and we didnt find that out until we got there, but the rent was cheaper, so it was fine. Trying to leave, though, was a nightmare. We were looking to buy a house about 3 months before our lease ended, thinking it would take a while. We were lucky and found one pretty quickly. I called the office to see what we would have to do to break out lease. The person I reached, and I unfortunately forgot her name, said that there were two options, one of them being if we gave a 60-day notice, there would be no fees and we would just, have to pay the rent if it didnt get re-leased. I was thrilled and make plans with our realtor and mortgage broker. When I went to the office to give the notice, they said they dont do that. The only option was to pay 2 months in advance, which we didnt have due to buying a house. I asked repeatedly if there was any other option. They continued to say no, but offered to show me the paperwork that we would need to fill out. On the paperwork was a second option, give a 30 day notice and pay the rent if it didnt get re-leased. We only had 2 months left on the lease, so this was an obvious choice, but one that I had to find myself. This was only the beginning of the issues with Perimeter Lofts. We got a puppy shortly after moving in and paid the pet fee as required. By the time we moved out, he had shredded the edge of the carpet in just the living room. I was expecting to pay for and had mentioned it briefly to the office staff, who didnt seem to concerned by it, just let me know that they would sent the bill once the re-lease crew came in. I was shocked when I received a bill for almost $800. The pet fee was just that, not a deposit, so that didnt help at all. The existing carpet was a cheap shag carpet, so I knew there was no way it cost that much. I asked to see the bill and I noticed it had vinyl plank installed through out the apartment. Basically, they tried to give us a bill for an upgrade. Long story short, it took them a while, but they came back with a quote to replace just the carpet for the whole apartment, due to wear patterns and possible different colors and not matching completely. At this point, I was done. I just figured Id pay it and be done with it. Early on in this process, I had asked to be made aware as soon as the apartment was released, so I would know right away that we didnt have to pay it. I found out because I checked online and no longer saw the apartment listed. I am sure they are busy and have a lot of people to keep up with, but I had just figured that since I spoken with them several time, keeping it respectful and professional every time, and they know our situation, that they would make the effort to let us know, but I guess not. We are finally done with Perimeter Lofts. As long as you stick to the lease, you should have many issues, but you never know what can happen...
Got a call from the Property Manager today, 3/20/19 stating a still owe a balance ($65.00) & stated she cant stop eviction filings through the court. Here is my frustration, I went in the office to retrieve my balance on a set date in which I was aware of was late & lets be clear, Im OK with paying what I owe. When I paid my rent, the leasing specialist advised I actually overpaid by $400+ dollars & I advised to keep that amount on my account as a credit. Fast forward days later, I get a call from the property manager stating I owe a late fee??: WHAT?? How is it that you figure this out 6 business days later from the date of my original payment? As I was angry (but not quite disrespectful), she HUNG up on my!! HOW DARE YOU??? How are you in a management role but not able to handle irate tenants?? & then she tried to offer me the most robotic, driest empathy I ever heard! This is a straight joke & you better believe corporate will be contacted.!UPDATE!!So I posted my above review on Celsius FB reviews, & this is their oh so professional response:Perimeter Lofts Celsius Hello *, Per the conversation with our manager this afternoon on a recorded line we would love to discuss why you owe the fees you do within your account ledger. Once an eviction has been filed there is unfortunately no way to stop the process until the full balance has been paid. Rent is due the 1st-5th of each month- late fees accrue on the 6th forward . Evictions are filed on the morning of the 10th. Evictions will lead to additional fees as will paying rent past this date. We apologize that you had a bad experience and would love to speak further at your convenience in the office. Thank you. -Celsius StaffHow unprofessional as a property management company to respond in this manner? These people are a joke!
My husband and I lived at Celsius/Perimeter Lofts for three years. We lived in Phase 2, which is the newer side of the complex. We did enjoy the modern features of the apartment. The rent was very affordable and the complex isnt far from downtown Charlotte. Sadly, those were pretty much the only positives. Here is a small list of some of the things we experienced over the past few years at this complex:-Gunshots regularly heard outside our window-Broken glass and trash in hallways-Fire alarms in complex going off at random times-Cars being broken into at night-Weed smell coming through our vents-Thin walls and loud/disrespectful neighbors-Drug deals happening in parking lot-Leasing office refuses to acknowledge or respond to emails-Maintenance requests are not responded to in a timely mannerIt was such a relief to move out of this place a few months back. After moving to our new apartment, I actually look forward to coming home after work again. I would highly recommend looking for a different place to live if possible.
The new company since the change is absolutely horrible. Most of the amenities at the complex do not function properly. In home repairs take longer than a month to fix (and I had to visit a 2nd time to give a reminder). Some of the staff are rude and unprofessional to current tenants that rent versus potential tenants. I put in a replacement blind request over a month ago and it still wasnt done only to find out that I will be charge $58.00 for their cheap faulty blinds that I did nothing to but use like youre supposed to (keep in mind d these were the same blinds in the apartment from when I moved in...they werent even new then.) There is no cosmetic damage or anything to the blinds...it was just cheap and broke. I have been a tenant with Perimeter Lofts for over 2 years and had no complaints until this new management took over. This was definitely a major downgrade.
I used to enjoy living here but this complex has become the most poorly managed apartment complex Ive ever lived in. All they care about is filling units so anyone, I mean ANYONE is allowed to live here. Cars are being vanadalized in the parking lot. There are no parking spots available if you come back after 8pm. People steal things from inside your car in the parking lot. People let their dogs poop everywhere. People play extremely loud music and party all night long and even if you complain to management, they will do nothing. People are stealing gym equipment. People steal things out of the common area so the perks they try to offer is not really a perk. People get drunk and urinate inside the elevators. Or they hot box the elevator so you can get high if you take the elevator. If you complain to the management, they will ignore you or lie to your face and tell you they will deal with it later. The complex does not care about their residents or the quality of this place. I will never live in this property ever again. Counting down the days to move out.
Ive lived at Perimeter Lofts for about a year now and Ive loved it! This was my first apartment after graduating school so I was extremely careful about the decision I made. Some of the reviews mentioned noise, messiness in the halls, and a questionable staff but I have not experienced any of those issues! From the moment I moved in, Perimeter lofts felt like home.My apartment: The apartment itself has been great. I opted for a phase II one-bedroom with a sunroom and the amount of space was perfect! Im really organized so I appreciated all of the closets the unit had to offer and the amount of kitchen space and cabinets. I rarely hear the neighbors next to me and I occasionally hear the people walking above me but Im convinced theyre just loud walkers. Anytime Ive had an issue with the apartment maintenance has come out in less than 24 hours. I had an instance over the summer where I came home one night and my AC was not working, by the time I got home the next afternoon everything was fixed. The amenities: I love all the amenities the complex has to offer! It definitely keeps up with the competition in the area. I stay on the phase II side and Ive never had an issue with any of the amenities not being readily available. I do wish the starbucks machine was accessible a little earlier in the morning because I could never grab coffee before work but it is not a big deal to me. The pool and cabana area was my absolute favorite during the summer time! It becomes such a lively area and all of the other residents are really friendly so its nice to go out there and meet people on a hot summer day.Parking: This is one of the first places Ive lived where parking has actually not been an issue. Regardless of the time I get home Im usually able to find a spot close to unit. I can count on one hand how many timesIve had to park far in the past year that Ive been here. Guest parking hasnt been much of an issue for me either, its just important that guest know to park in the visitor spots so they dont get towed! The staff: The staff has been nothing short of exceptional! Everyone is so responsive and very friendly. Most know me by my name which I think is a nice touch. Whenever packages are delivered to the office Im notified almost immediately and they even stay open later once a week for those who get home late. Like I mentioned earlier maintenance is always great too.Overall Ive really enjoyed living at Perimeter Lofts. I think the price is right on point for the amount of amenities, space, and the amazing location that it is in! The only reason I decided to move from Perimeter Lofts was because of a new job opportunity I received but had it not been for that, I wouldve extended without a doubt. I hope this review helps all of the inquiring prospective tenants!
Dear Hercules,Why havent you replaced my A/C air filter? They are supposed to be replaced at least every 90 days. The last time it was replaced was under Greystars excellent management back in early October by one of the many maintenance personnel I saw and interacted with by name daily. I suppose painting the outside buildings is more important though. Gotta attract new tenants since you dont seem keen on keeping the ones you have happy enough to want to stay! I shouldnt have to pay for it myself (if I can find this odd size, Lowes 200 yards away doesnt have it!) or request basic maintenance such as an air filter online as it is preventative maintenance you are responsible for.Im so happy you charge me a monthly pest fee yet Ive killed more insects in my apartment the last 6 months than the previous 2 years combined. I guess thats somehow my fault that bugs like to live in my bathroom and front closet away from food sources.Greystar used to hold monthly community events and get togethers. This felt like a community. All I have seen so far are emails for lease renewal parties. YAY! (Sarcasm)The previous winter, I cant recall anyone having a burst pipe due to sub-freezing conditions. Greystar used to send out reminders and place signs urging residents to let a sink run slightly to prevent burst pipes. Ne helpful reminders this year. The first freeze this winter and a pipe bursts in my building resulting in no water for 36 hours. No compensation offered to residents who had to bathe and eat elsewhere.Speaking of water, why is the admin fee to process the water portion of my bill often as much or more than my water bill? Why is this even a thing? Its literally all electronic. I pay less to Google for cloud hosting my data each month than the admin fee.Its quite ironic that the thing that made me finally post this review was getting an email for a name change from Perimeter Lofts to Celcius. I suppose all these negative reviews are getting to management and changing the name to hide under a new one is easier than fixing minor issues that are becoming major ones.My old review for Perimeter Lofts under Greystar was 4/5 stars. That was about a year ago. Complete negligence and apathy on your part made me lower it. Why would I want to stay here. There are literally dozens of similar apartments within 2 miles. Ill be buying a house or renting elsewhere when my lease is up. There is zero incentive to stay. Just some things for you to read and likely ignore like everyones maintenance requests, thefts, filter changes, etc.
THE APARTMENT ITSELF IS NICE, BUT THE COMMUNITY HAS GONE DOWN. THE PARKING SUCKS.. THE RENT IS HIGH.. MY SISTER HAD A LEAKY ROOF WHICH LEAKED INTO HER BEDROOM ON HER $1500 MATTRESS, THE LEAK STARTED ON SATURDAY, AND WASNT LOOKED AT OR FIXED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY SHE HAD TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR AND COUCH FOR A WEEK. SHE HAD TO PAY TO HAVE HER MATTRESS CLEANED HERSELF!! EVEN THOUGH THESE IDOTS HAVE THE A/C UNITS SITTING ON TOP OF THE APARTMENT BUILDING.. SHE PAYS HER RENT ON TIME EVERY MONTH $1300 A JOKE FOR A 1 BEDROOM OVER THERE, THE VALET TRASH IS ONLY PICKED UP ONCE A WEEK... BUT YOU PAY $25-$30 FOR PICK UP. MOST VALET TRASH IS PICKED UP MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK.. PLUS SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO STEAL HER CAR TWICE FROM THE COMPLEX.. I WAS THINKING ABOUT MOVING TO THE COMMUNITY.. BUT FOUND SOMETHING ELSE IN A BETTER COMMUNITY WHICH IS MANAGED BY THIS SAME COMPANY, BUT ITS NOT GHETTO..
Going on 2 days with no water because of a pipe burst. Can’t shower, can’t brush my teeth, nothing . Have to go to a friends house to do all of this so I can go to work. Such a inconvenience!!!!!!
Horrible management specially when hercules new management so i would not recommend it look somewhere else
Live here now, absolutely terrible place, it used to be good, but it seems now they dont care who they rent to, and the place has gone down hill. Barely any parking spots, leasing office doesnt seem to care what happens to its residents as long as they fill apartments. Leaving as soon as contract is done.
Stayed with a friend who lives here and THERE ARE NO SIGNS HARDLY ANYWHERE ABOUT THEIR TOWING POLICY OR VISITOR PARKING so therefore I was unaware that my car would be towed if I parked in just a normal parking spot on Saturday night and left early Sunday morning. I come out to find that my car is gone and its $225 with the towing company they use which is AN AWFUL COMPANY WITH BBB COMPLAINTS. N STYLE TOWING & RECOVERY. BE WEARY.
Don’t recommend it. Been living here for years and my mail often goes missing. Office is ALWAYS too busy for us. Loud construction zone right next to us as well.
Won’t let you in when you’re locked out in the middle of the night in 30 degree weather.
Not clean, maintenance is horrible and theres a towing scam during wee hours of the morning
LOVE these apartments and location!
I had a negative experience with the leasing office. Apply elsewhere.
Dog poop met me in the elevator this morning..disgusting!
If you have any issues, address the manager personally.
