My car tire was slashed in this parking lot. My neighbors entire truck was stolen. My upstairs neighbor does fireworks in his apartment. I sent the office a video of him admitting it and they did nothing. They told me to call the police. My dog and I were nearly attacked by a large dog being walked by kids. The office didnt even know the dog was on the property and had no interesting in helping figure out who owned the dog. They do not walk the property and have no idea what goes on.

My boyfriend and I had THE BEST experience moving to Fairways! Amber R up in the leasing office truly exceeded every expectation. We’ve felt at home since day one, and honestly even before we moved in. We had the chance to meet the maintenance team who also went above and beyond to make our home extra special for us. Had a horrible experience with one of the technicians, some young kid named Ricky very inexperienced and unprofessional. This new company needs to get better personnel with experience and professionalism if they would like to improve. They need more advanced technicians if they want to fix all the problems these apartments have. They also have some very young girls working in the office they are all over the place and waste a lot of time and patience from us tenants. Get better knowledgeable more mature employees not kids and this company would flourish.

The apartments are looking better I love the new paint but the staff is horrible, they need new personnel in the office the last 2 times I’ve gone to ask about something the young girl in the office is really rude and not helpful and always on there personal phone. Other than that I enjoy living here but I would hate to move if they don’t get better staff.

Since we moved in the apartment next to us has had water issues at least 6 to 7 times in which the floor has been breached to repair the bad pipes.Constantly having to shut the water off due to an emergency repair. Water is iffy if you want hot water. Parking is like hunting for easter eggs year round, unless you have an assigned parking spot. Lighting in the parking lot is terrible and our assigned parking spot is poorly lit. Neighbors would illegally double park too close to the walkway in which you cant get by if you have issues walking or if your in a wheelchair. Also, inconsiderate neighbors dont pickup after their dog so you have to watch where you step. The children here like to play in the parking lot since there is no play area for them in which at time they like to throw rocks at each other near the parked cars. Hard to reach anyone in the office when you call and rare if reached through email. Constant ownership change with this place with upgrades to the exterior to raise the rent that doesnt match how the interior, appliances, maintenance etc. Unless you have a great job that pays well or split the difference in rent you may not be able to afford this place. Rent being raised and additional $200.00 and that is not including Conservice. I can understand rent goes up every year but to jump that much just because you painted the exterior and had the parking lot painted should not justify the price when issues with constant emergency water shut off.

These are nice apartments at a reasonable price. Jose the facility manager is doing a great job of providing service. Robert is a great facility worker as well. Michelle is helpful at front desk.

I feel like I’m finally home. After the purchase of a fixer upper home we tried to do all we could, it was more than we expected. We were able to remain in our neighborhood and grateful to finally be able to rest and leave the headaches to the management. Love my apartment😊

This new management that took over Vicky the manager Kurt the maintenance supervisor are truly amazing and a huge step up from the previous management theyre very accommodating to our needs and they are very polite and respectful I couldnt ask for a better management Vicky is amazing Courtney also does a very good job I cant forget to mention Courtney she is amazing also

If I could give negative stars I would. Very unfriendly new staff. I dealt with a lot of inconveniences for a year with my apartment - first they moved me into an apartment that had horrible cigarette smoke smell and I had to wait several weeks until another apartment was ready and then pay movers to move me again into the new apartment which cost me over $1100 for both moves.There was pretty much never any hot water...luke warm at best and the water would get shut off for days at a time - one time it was out for 5 days over a weekend. I have 3 autoimmune issues and hot baths are necessary to manage the pain and fatigue.I gave over 60 days notice to move out when my lease was up and I asked to move out a couple of weeks early due to the water issues and they refused. So I paid for 2.5 weeks of extra rent when I wasnt even living in the apartment and then they charged me a $49.99 lease termination fee even though I gave plenty of notice and paid all the way through the end of my lease. When I asked them about it they were VERY rude and told me to dispute it with their management company.I would definitely not recommend living here, especially since they are very unpleasant and rude which makes the inconveniences even worse to deal with.

I met with Courtney today to do a tour of the apartment. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel completely comfortable in my decision to apply for an apartment. She answered all of my questions ( even the ones I had after leaving). Very professional and kind. The area was clean and well kept.

We have lived here for years. We really feel at home in our apartment community. The staff has always helped us out with any needs in a timely manner. Most recently we had an issue with that needed to be taken care of urgently and they didn’t fail us. John Gallagher, Rick C, and Robin, the management team, made us a priority and really helped solve our issue quickly. They were all very professional and excellent at what they do. We were very impressed at their problem solving and repairs. They also responded back right away and kept us in the loop the entire time. We feel safe and comfortable in our home. The Fairways continues to meet our needs. 5 stars.

Let me start out by saying the unit we live in is beautiful and maintenance is wonderful. This review is strictly rated based on my experience with property management.We have had several issues with the property management both old and new. We referred family members who signed a leased and lived for a while. They went down twice and signed the referral sheet and we went down once. We never received the credit we followed up with the old company and never received a response. When bhmanagement came in I went down to the office and was told they would look into it but again we never received a response so we never received our referral credit. Per our lease if we give 60 days notice they will list our apartment and if they rent it we won’t have to pay out our lease. We gave notice on February 3rd and our last day would be April 7th. As of today March 11th the apartment has not been listed. When I called in late February they argued that it is listed and would not hear my concern. When I called yesterday they said that’s so weird we will have that looked into. She didn’t even acknowledge when I said they are not following the lease.Update 4/6/21 Vicky reached out to us and we were able to come to an agreement on when we could turn the keys in and get the apartment listed. However they sent us a large bill on 3/26. Both of us have been trying to get a hold of said leasing office for over a week. The one time I got a call back on 3/26 I was told my questions would be forwarded to a manager to follow up with me. It’s 4/6 and no one has called back. I urge you to call your own leasing office and see how many times they answer. At this point I’m not even sure why they have a phone it almost always goes to voicemail.

If I could give them negative stars I would. They lost my email that told them I was moving out then they charged me a full months rent even though I was moving out on the 20th. Then when I called them and asked them for a refund they asked me if I wanted to stay until the 31st. I opted to stay because of the holiday. They then charged me more money for the remaining days even though I had already paid a full months rent. Then an additional $70 to stay that extra week. Im in the process of buying a house and they needed rent verification. So they sent a rent verification notice with the overcharged amount saying I still owed money even though they had only put it on my account two days prior and had not returned my phone call yet. This place is unorganized the apartments are gross you dont know what until you move in its definitely not worth the outrageous amount theyre charging.

Worst place ever to live from the start, when I moved in dog fur all over carpets and dead ticks, I still have pictures. I can never get anything fixed, parking always taken or someone parks behind my parking where I cannot park my vehicle, my car got towed just for getting groceries in. I have been having bee issue which I contacted maintenance and was ignored and still have bee issue. Loud neighbors across from me racing up and down the parking lot late at night. New management made it worst I can never get a hold of front office...

If I could give more stars I would! From the office, to maintenance, to management, everyone has been so helpful! Pamela in the front is always so sweet and personable (she’s my favorite). Jose in maintenance always goes above and beyond on work orders I’ve personally entered. The property manager, Angelique is always professional and in my experience has immediately corrected any issues that may have arise. Overall the staff is very friendly and I’m happy here. I would recommend this place!

I just came into the office to renew my lease!! I would have to say that this place is wonderful!!! I have been out of work for awhile so I have enjoyed the dog park with pet. Everyone in the office is great!! Yolanda is super friendly and sweet. Kim the Assistant manager is great and super professional all the time just a pleasure. The Fairways has been one of my better experiences with apartments. The location is great and my apartment has great view of the golf course and beautiful trees. Jessica and Yolanda are always friendly when I go to the office and have been great a help when I have had questions or have requests. When I have asked for repairs, maintenance has been on top of it within a day or two. I also love that there is a large dog park (even though the fencing is a little wide for small dogs) and lots of space to walk with my dog, as well as plenty of provided bags and trash for cleaning up after him. It is definitely a dog friendly place. I would say that some of the problems I have had are minimal or things that I dont know if there is much the admin can do. Over the past two summers that I have lived here, we have found scorpions inside (maybe 10-12) and despite maintenance spraying, they still come. We have had to take other precautions to try to eliminate the issue. I havent liked that my rent has been raised for the past two years, but I do know that we are in an expensive area and need to have competitive rates. But we get a lot of space for what we pay for. All in all, I can say that I have been pretty satisfied.

Horrible experience living here. If I could give 0 stars I would absolutely do so. Car was vandalized TWICE, the parking that I paid extra for, because I was pregnant and didnt want to walk a far distance in the dark, I was rarely able to use because others parked there (management never did anything about it, so curious why I even paid extra for it instead I should have just used it without paying). Management was not only completely worthless but also not inviting and very unfriendly. Consider other options before settling here...

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! I have been living at The Fairways for many years, and have never been happier. Over the years, there have been many changes in the office, maintenance and management. The current crew is BY FAR the best we have ever had.The girls in the front, Yolanda and Jessica, area always smiley and friendly. Kimberly, the assistant manager, and Angelique, the manager, are always professional, and always go above and beyond when I have an issue with anything at all. They always make sure any maintenance issues are taken care of immediately.The maintenance crew is amazing as well and deserve more than 5 stars for the hard work they put in day and night. Jason, the head guy, always smiley and friendly, remembers us by name (that doesnt happen often!) they are all amazing.I highly recommend The Fairways. Check it out for yourself, you wont regret it!

This week has been a whirlwind and I am so incredibly grateful for the wonderful staff at the Fairways, especially Pamela who has been there every step of the way. The entire staff has been responsive, helpful and welcoming. Pamela and Angelique have made this truly feel as it should, which is a home. My puppies are in love with the beautiful onsite dog park where like minded residents have been also taking their puppies out to play. The apartment itself is beautiful, well maintained and the residents have all been very friendly and welcoming.

Saturday, November 23rd, my partner and I walked into the office of Fairways. The woman sitting at the desk facing the door looked at us, turned her head and resumed her conversation with someone out of our view. As we stood there waiting to be acknowledged, I noticed they were having a personal conversation. I didn’t want to be rude, but I also didn’t think we should be expected to stand there and wait indefinitely before we were acknowledged and helped. After standing waiting for about 2 minutes, I peeked in the office and around the corner to ask both women if they were going to be able to help us. The woman out of our view apologized immediately saying she didn’t know anyone was here and that she would help us. She was interrupted by the woman who looked at us when we first walked in. The woman put her hand up to the other woman to silence her, looked at us and yelled, “No! You need to wait until we’re done talking!”. I responded simply, “Oh we do? Alright then. As my partner and I tuned and headed towards the front door the woman jumped up from her desk following behind us. I turned and asked her for her name. She exclaimed, “Pam!”. I asked was she the manager she retorted, “Yes I am!”. I asked her if she was the manager or the assistant manager. She responded that she was the assistant. As we left the building and walked towards our car, we could hear the door slam behind us, and the lock engage.This is what we experienced walking into Fairways leasing office looking to rent an apartment. We were basically demeaned and insulted. Pam’s behavior was not only unprofessional, but as two African American women, it was overtly discriminatory.

I am one VERY happy resident and have been here now going on my third year and Angelique the manager is truley amazing at what she does and always goes above and beyond for the residents. Coming from Los Angeles, CA, my move in was easy and very welcoming and i must say its beautiful here. They also keep everything well maintained. Not only for the cute apartment, but because of the great customer service from the beginning. Yolanda helped us with the process and she has been wonderful from the start. No Parking available after 5pm. We’ve had a broken down car taking up a parking space since we moved in (one year ago). Water gets shut off about once a month. The only positive to this place is great maintenance staff.

I have lived at the Fairways a long time and I must say this Is the best it has been. the previous manager Stevie was a snake and brought this apartment complex down. Since then this company has done nothing but recover and completely blossom into a beautiful place to live.the community looks beautiful and maintenance is timely.I always feel welcomed by Jessica and Yolanda when coming into the office and Kim seems to really know her stuff and helps me every step of the way. I have been very patient in multiple issues with my apt. Now I have been without a washer since memorial day and I have returned to work in office during this pandemic, every time I call I get a we will get to it soon. Can you offer me an alt solution? Keys to an empty apt that has a functioning washer so I may please wash my clothes? With curfew and fear of covid I am not going to a laundromat....please help?? I have called and now only get VM, even during business hours...I took a plastic container and scooped all the water out myself in fear of getting Nats or mosquitos....cmon guys at least send a person to come look at it or take it out...PS, we havent had hot water in 3 days...lucky its summer in AZ, at 109 degrees I guess Ill survive, but washing dishes with cold water feels gross..honestly....if someone can PLEASe fix, replace or otherwise help with the washer situation Ill give you five stars, ten stars if I could....

I experience with Yolanda was great she explained everything in detail so I had a full understanding of the pricing and the progress on getting a apartment here at Fairways. She was very nice and helped with everything I had questions about. She showed us the apartment, the complex and everything, got all of our paperwork together and had everything ready for when it came to our move in day. Even when we didnt have everything ready she sat down with us and went through everything to get us ready. Thank you so much Yolanda for your helping us get our apartment here we love it, it is perfect for us. We love how it has a pool and gym plus plenty of parking space so everyone doesnt get stuck in one area like my old complex. Thank you again.

Really enjoy living here, I just resigned to stay another year and am happy with that choice. The people that work here are always friendly and willing to help. We can tell they have been really busy during this covid thing and they are still smiling and running around taking care of the property. It always looks nice, maintenance guys take care of the work quickly and professionally. The office girls are nice and do whatever they can to help the people that live here. The manager angelicue is always availalbe to help any sitution, even if i can tell she is super busy - when i moved in she made sure i was happy with my apartment. Which I was. The maintenance guys are on it, if anything goes wrong they do what they gotta do to make it happen. Fernando and the maintenance manager Jose really work hard to keep the apartments looking good and always quick to help anyone if you need something. I really love my apartment at fairways and alwys recommend to my family and friends.

This property has an all star leasing staff! I leased an apartment here from Yolanda last January. And thus far, I have noticed the following. The leasing agents are amazing at what they do and their concern for your happiness is evident in my opinion. Maintenance handles all the request without delay. Please be advised. My rating is solely based on customer service! Yolanda, Pam, and Kim are wonderful at their jobs. These ladies are professionals! I would be remiss not to mention my man Bobby in maintenance! Great staff and a great place to stay. They are very accommodating and have had zero issues living here. I love this place and the people that work here are great at their jobs. Angelique Donovan is a great leader in the office and she is an excellent example of prime customer service. The entire year was a disaster. From the apartment being broke into multiple times (very common there) to the big infestations. We had to have the apartment bombed more than once and everything stored was covered in dead bugs of course. They had new management multiple times. The water is CONSTANTLY shut off. I wish I could even begin to count the number of times that you will be out of water, sometimes for hours and sometimes for days. There is nothing quite like bathing your kid in bottled water you have to warm on the stove. Also, when our lease ended, we quietly moved out and turned in our keys. NOPE. You have to give a written notice SIXTY days before the end of your lease or else you pay the month to month rent amount which we now have to do. $1400 later for a $1000 apartment...we are happy to be gone. They even called us to verify we were moving out at the end of our lease but we didnt put it in writing. Awesome.

We have lived here almost a year after moving from our house, and unexpectedly, we like it more than we thought being back in an apartment. The maintenance team really shines, especially the man who picks up the grounds every morning on the east side of the property - always friendly and kind! We have had some scorpions here and there, but have been scorpion free for about four months. Our place is looking right to the golf course, and we are tucked in the back so it still feels private. Jess and Yolanda helped when we moved in and have still assisted with anything we have needed. We are coming up to renewal and really trying to decide what to do, but so far, we love it here and would recommend it.

We just moved in and LOVE our new home. Everything that was promised to us was delivered on time. Shannon, Sara and Brett and Jessica are AWESOME!! They made moving in a great experience. I cant speak for the people that were here before but we talked to several residents before moving in and they all said they loved living here. I hope we continue to have a great experience here. The apartment is clean and upgraded. The neighbors are super friendly and the area is perfect for our needs. I definitely would recommend The Fairways to my friends and family!

I went to the Fairways, not knowing what to expect being that I had not lived in an apartment in years! I met Yolanda Subia and she was awesome! She was very friendly and answered all my questions as she helped me through the application process. Not to mention the apartment was beautiful, it was very spacious, and has an incredible view of the golf course. I could not be more please with the entire process and all the help from Yolanda. I had my reservations based on the reviews - but the Fairways have blown me away with their caring and efficient services for these apartments.Im not entirely sure what the negative comments are talking about. Angelique and the girls at the front desk are so willing to help, and are always positive. Thank you girls, for all that you do!Maintenance comes in an expedient time frame, Ive never had to wait very long for a maintenance order. They are always very knowledgeable and kind, too. Thank you!As for the negative reviews, Im truly baffled. Never once had an unannounced water outage. Its never more than 1-3 hours, always with advanced notice, and never for multiple days in a row. They also never once brought up doing a Google review for them - so thats not a thing, either. I waited 6 months nearly to see how the Fairways would do during my time here-and they have done an amazing job.The apartments themselves are super nice. Mine feels like it belongs on /r/cozy because its so warm and inviting. I rarely hear any of my neighbors, and Im on the first floor. The grounds are cared for extensively, and it always looks well groomed.I would recommend these apartments to anyone. :)Cheers!

My husband and I have lived here almost 2 months and so far so good. Jessica in the front office has always been very friendly and helpful. I did have an issue with my packages getting mixed up in the office, but hopefully thats not a common occurance. Weve had a few little issues in our apartment unit but the maintenance staff has always been very prompt and thorough. The gym is small but the equipment works and its never crowded when I go. The pool closest to my apartment is drab, but its only March so I assume that the pool will be nice and put together by the time it starts to warm up more. The landscaping is a bit lacking, but it seems like they are slowly revamping the look of the complex. Lastly, the prices are a little high, but we are within walking distance of downtown so I see it as paying for the location. Overall, a nice place in a great location. Hopefully we will continue to enjoy our stay.

This place has friendly staff to help you with your needs. The prices are a little on the high side but you get a great place to stay in with great staff members to assist. I would not recommend this place for families with younger kids as there is next to no spaces in the apartment grounds for the kids to run around. They have a small kids play area but thats the extent of it. Amazing place for families with older kids (teens) or just adults.

Wow .... This place is amazing Im not sure how old management was but let me tell you about the new manage and all of there employee 1st off Kimberly is AWESOME she did everything I expected plus more she showed me the whole campus which was brand new EVERYTHING ALMOST new paint new doors new floors and carpet new everything, the appliances and the designs in the houses are updated and great, I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath and it has tons of space, a great view in the back off my patio showing a golf course, which makes you feel like you on a resort .... I give this place 5 stars but if I could I would give 100 stars, these people are awesome and maintance I havent experience yet but the few I saw seem to be very pleasant... I would recommend this to my closet friend or family .....

I have lived at The Fairways at San Marcos for a few years now, and overall Im satisfied with my living choice. The property itself is very clean, well maintained, and generally peaceful. There have been recent upgrades which have brought a much more welcoming and fresh feeling to the complex. We have a new team in office and property manager as well. After previously being dissatisfied, I believe we finally have a staff to properly fit the complex standards and resident needs. The new team is definitely striving to build more of a community feel, which is nice, as there are many families that rent here. We recently renewed our lease with confidence, and so far have been satisfied. As with all apartment/condo living there are the normal issues that happen, of course. But thats to be expected. I would definitely recommend The Fairways to a family looking to move to the area, or person wanting to live close to all the action and events in the DownTown area!

Apply for an apartment and was denied due to a non violent misdemeanor 5 years ago the despite the fact the application ask if you have a felony charge which we dont. Never been denied for a place based on an old misdemeanor until now. The fairways is refusing to refund our admin fees of 200.00 they wont even return our call. Of course I know AZ tenant landlord requires you to refund fees collected in access of the application fee within s certain timeframe. I guess I will need to contact fair housing and Joe on your side.

The remodeling looks really good. I love the new pool and clubhouse, the new door to the pool is gorgeous. The management company is really good at maintaining the grounds. And the best part is that they have at least three community events a month, Ive never been at a community that has these types of events. I have lived here 14 years and I love it!

It’s not often an apartment complex goes beyond its duty to help people. As a new applicant Pamela and Yolanda did everything in their power to make the entire process as easy possible. They helped me every step of the way and not only provided top notch service but showed sincere care. I greatly appricte it and can’t speak higher of the staff and apartment complex as a whole. Unit is geogous and opens up to a stunning view of the San Marcos Golf Course. I’m Happy I chose the Fairways and would recommend them to anyone!

Horrible, way over priced for what you get . Yeah the first couple months were not to bad, but shortly little by little everything breaks down from simple things as. light in your room, closet, bathrooms . Not to mention right when we moved in the a/c didnt work (hot season ) . Not to mention garbage disposal busted list goes on ! And honestly the 2 big main issues I had(which apparently ever other reviewer had) was the bugs !!! And it may be the people they hire but I constantly read about calling in a maintenance issue and not having a follow through. Yeah I get there super busy with minimal staff but its just ridiculous on the communication they will have with you . Just the other day I got woken up at 5:00 am because apparently my apt had a water leak (everything was fine) . You have live in a better place for what your playing here .

Do not move in here and do not trust the reviews - they offer residents a monetary incentive to leave positive reviews. The entire year living here was horrible. Upon signing the lease, I was told I would get a newly renovated unit which did not happen. Since I was already moved in, I figured I would deal with it. After getting my first rent bill, I was overcharged $10 which took a lengthy conversation to get resolved. Not long after move in, things started to break down. The AC stopped working in the middle of the summer. They brought in a portable AC unit that conveniently stopped working an hour after the employees went home. The next day, the maintenance men tried coming in to make the repairs. Because I was not home and did not feel comfortable with strangers entering my apartment without me being there, I was told the unit would need to be fixed a few days later - this was a conversation that happened at 9 am. I explained to the woman that I would be getting off work within 30 minutes and would be there shortly so I did not see why it would have to be fixed later when there is still a full day AND that it’s premature to say that since no one has even been in the unit to diagnose the problem, but I was only greeted with attitude saying I should have planned accordingly. A few months after getting repaired, the AC began dripping and nearly flooded the apartment. This took 3 different maintenance requests to finally get fixed. The maintenance men are creepy and rude and the women are snarky and unprofessional. After moving out, I received a statement that included vinyl repairs for $100. These were damages made by former residents. When I called to dispute it, Angelique offered no help. She claims I signed a move in inspection form but I have no recollection of receiving one and did not even have a move in walk through. Plus, when I moved in the unit was filthy from the patio door being left open for several days and animal running through it leaving their feces. I tolerated a lot here because I understand what it’s like to be yelled at about something you have no control of, but lesson learned. Please do not contact me unless you are willing to reimburse me for the $100 in damages I am being charged for that I am not responsible for.

Ill give them three stars because their maintenence staff is amazing. This past 3 months however, the water has been shut off at least 5-6 times for emergencies. The water is shut off currently, and it was seriously just shut off a few days ago.

Had a very positive move in experience and all of the office staff was extremely pleasant to work with!! Specifically Yolanda is who I worked with primarily and she has always gone the extra mile to make sure I had all the info I needed and was always super prompt in answering any of my questions I had about leasing at Fairways. The unit I moved into is super clean and most everything in the apt seemed to be very taken care of. Will be sure to post experiences later as my lease comes to renewal time.

They are not worth 1 star. Worst experience ever living at the fairway apartments. Do not let floor plans fool you. They are very over priced for what they offer and so many bed bugs. I do not recommend living here

I rented here sight unseen in March of 2018 and the reviews weren’t very good but the rent was cheap and I was coming from another state so I figured one year wouldn’t be horrible. I’m actually pleasantly surprised at how great my experience has been! This is the first AZ property I’ve ever lived at (I lived in AZ years ago) that I didn’t have bugs AT ALL. Not one single roach or scorpion. Being by the golf course we get a lot of mosquitos, so that can suck if you like to be outside a lot. The maintenance staff is FANTASTIC here. They’re always up early cleaning the grounds and I’ve pulled one away from his golf cart to help fix my door late on a Friday evening and he was so sweet and helpful. The pool is okay but could be cleaner. It’s also very small for the amount of people that use it (there are 2 small ones). Trash rarely piles up and most of the time parking isn’t bad. I’ve never used the gym but I see people in there all day so it must be decent. I love the location as I can walk with my son to downtown for parades and the farmers market. The office staff have their days..Yolanda has always been sweet but the two managers can be a little rude and dismissive sometimes. We all have our days though. Packages are always dropped at the office and I’ve never had an issue with it. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the play set for young kids needs to be replaced, there isn’t enough grass so people end up letting their pets potty on the rocks which stinks up the entrance to my apartment, and there are cops here a lot which can be worrysome. Also, the reviews about the water being shut off quite often are true, however, it’s RARELY at an inconvenient time and almost always we are notified ahead of time. One time on a Friday night there was a main break and they had to shut it off, but that could literally happen to any house on city water so I’m not sure what the big deal is to my fellow tenants. Also we received a text and an email quickly after it was shut off that evening. Lastly, getting out of here in the morning can be a nightmare because Chandler Blvd is super busy.

HORRIBLE!!Our entire experience here was an absolutely nightmare! We thought the original office staff was bad enough but once they brought on the new “team” things just got worse. Kim the Assistant Manager is completely disrespectful to everyone she comes into contact with and I’m mind blown she is still there after reading all of these complaints about her. I’ve spoken with multiple tenants who told me they’ve experienced the same treatment, if not worse than what we did. While living here the office gave our keys to a third party subcontractor who literally walked into our home without permission or knocking while I was home alone. I had three Unidentified men not wearing uniforms or any identification (One had a SRH shirt on) come in right after I stepped out of the shower, and this was after 3-4 times of them walking in after we made it EXTREMELY clear that they do not have permission to enter without contacting us first! Any time we contacted the office for mantaince problems or any kind of issues they always seemed to find a way not to help us or come up with endless excuses on why things couldn’t be handled. We had a minor issue of our neighbors dog pooping in the rocks and on the side walk on a daily basis, after contacting the front desk multiple times to please do something about it, they did nothing to no surprise. They actually said that I would need to hide and take a video of the dog pooping and show it to them before they could do anything (even though it was completely obvious which dog it was and the fact that I’ve seen it happen probably 10-15 times with my own eyes)To say the least Im so thankful were no longer here and have moved on, anyone thinking of staying I suggest you rethink your decision.... BUT If you enjoy seeing dirty diapers hanging off palm trees than this is the place for you!-The so called “renovation” are a joke and far from “luxury”- Dirty property / trash everywhere- Old mattresses and shopping carts constantly on the property for weeks and weeks, if not months.- People smoking weed on their balconies- Lazy maintenance- All office staff is RUDE- Never pick up the phone- Bribe tenants for 5* reviews (only reason they have any)- Constant police in the area- The park is a safety hazard (broken glass/exposed wires)- Dog poop everywhere and smells like urine- Constant plumbing issuesNO I wouldnt like to contact you and I dont care about your fake apology :)

Just signed a lease for my 2nd year here. The district manager Lisa is absolutely amazing! I had a problem with needing a new ac unit and it wasnt able to be done till Monday (and this was on Friday). I have a young child and thought that it was unacceptable. Spoke to Lisa and told her my issue and she made everything right for me. That night I had 2 portable ac units in my house. I was amazed with her customer service and promptness to get the issue resolved. She told me that if anything else arises to let her know. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!

Update...Since living at Fairways at San Marco for the last 5 months, there have been a few times minor repairs have been needed...plumbing, pest control etc... Each and every time I have approached the maintenance manager, Yolanda, she has been so nice and Ive never felt I was being a pain. She has resolved the repair issues quickly and efficiently with a high level of professionalism. I have read there were issues in the past with the previous management, however, from experience, those issues are over.I used to manage about 100 single family homes for the last 3 years for an out of state company which was so highly respected in our local area, that real estate agents would send their investors to us and even have us manage their own rental homes. I have a lot of experience providing high levels of service to tenants.The number one item I have issue with is lack of good communication…being able to reach someone and get a timely response either by phone or email is essential. With that said, it’s nearly impossible to get through to someone on the phone in this complex. It is very important when you’re moving cross country, site unseen..as I did. To have regular communication with management. There were many times I would leave messages and have to call 4-5 times and hope that I got lucky and someone would answer. Running an office should not be about luck, but rather consistent customer service. This was so frustrating, that had I been in AZ instead of out of state, I would probably would have moved on to another complex.Now that Im here, I have to say that I’ve been into the office 5-6 times and have not had an issue with it being closed.When I moved in a month ago, there was a misunderstanding regarding the move in date and so the apartment was not 100% ready. The apartment was not property cleaned, however, since I had nowhere else to go, I had to move in anyway.Some of the issues I encountered along with the lack of cleaning were as follows; the A/C was not functioning, the water heater needed to be replaced, the cabinets were sticky due to incorrect preparation and 4 of the electrical outlets were not working. Had proper preparation been done, these items would have been caught and corrected prior to me moving in. After a little prodding, these issues were addressed before it was necessary to contact the corporate office.I hope that is not necessary to shut off the water to units as a continued reality.The maintenance supervisor, Yolanda strives to stay on top of the repairs and Stevie in the office is fantastic…she seems to really care, is always helpful and happy…a real joy.Matt

I can not wait for my lease to end. The apartments look nice but theyre terrible. They turn the water off once a week, this was even before all of the construction on a Chandler blvd, and when there is water, its either super hot or super cold.Not to mention their incompetent maintenance staff. First they refused to fix my dryer and just told me just clean the filter then they wont fix the air conditioning when it NEVER gets to the temperature I set it to. What is their reason? The roof is too hot. This caused my electric bill to be DOUBLE what it should be.This is the absolute worst apartment complex anyone can stay at.Do NOT live here.

I have lived at the fairways for three years and just signed my lease for a fourth. I love living here, even more now than ever before. My apartment is cute and updated,  i get along with all my neighbors and I have a great view overlooking the golfcourse. I have never had any major issues,  and any repairs I request are always taken care of right away, usually the same day.  The maintenance guys are awesome, always smiling and working hard. I see them out there every single day, running around, fixing apartments,  picking up trash and poop from lazy dog owners, cleaning up the dumpsters, since some people cant seen to understand the trash goes inside, not next to them.  They are always professional and kind, smiling no matter how hot and miserable it must be at times,  in this hot Arizona summer.The office staff is wonderful,  specially now that that old assistant manager, Kim, is no longer there  - she was literally a nightmare to deal with, ghetto and rude as hell, always badmouthing the manager and other employees, gossiping with residents and yelling at people - YES, yelling.... only when the manager wasnt there of course. She was something else. The energy from that office is so much better now, I dont have to plan my visits or calls around trying to avoid that witch.The manager, Angelique, is really awesome. She obviously knows what shes doing and truley cares, it shows. Everything has improved a million since she got here a couple years ago, and it keeps getting better and better! I probably would not still be here if it wasnt for her, she really does an impressive job with everything, always smiling, professional and willing to help. I see her every day, coming in early, staying late and always with a positive attitude. It really means a lot to me to see how much she cares about this place and all who live here.I know a lot of people dont appreciate the hard work or care to take time to leave reviews, usually, unless they are mad about something, which is why I wanted to take the time to leave my full experience with living at the fairways for several years.To be clear,  yes, the water has been shut off before, usually we will get notified in advance if they are planning it for a repair - a few times it was not expected because of an emergency,  but that is expected, its a huge property and stuff breaks. This does happen anywhere,  not just here - its part of life. Do you think they shut the water off just for fun? Come on people, get real, pipes burst, equipment fails, stuff happens - its impossible to avoid emergencies, and unrealistic to expect everything to always be perfect. We can expect them to always fix everything in a reasonable timeframe and do whatever they can to avoid issues, which they do very well. And by the way, the water shut off craziness was WAY worse when I first moved in, they have really improved whatever was causing the constant shut offs, very rarely does that happen anymore.They are always trying to make it a nicer community, planning fun events, classes, parties, organizing groups, giving away prizes.  Always something fun and new to look forward to!  I cant say it enough, love, love, love living here!

On January 4th 2019 the water was shut down on Friday night from 7:00pm to 1130 pm. The contractors climbed over our patio and used our outside outlet. So we decided to email the office to let them know about it. They emailed us back and let us know that the outlet on our patio if other people use it that it won’t be charged on our apartment. Hello the light on our patio as a switch on the inside of the apartment. The maintenance guys said different to what the people are in the office.so for people who wants to move in please please don’t bother. Cause they won’t inform you if they shutdown the water and when you call them to ask what’s the problem they blame City of Chandler, Even though you see contractors digging and try to fix the problem. That Kim doesn’t know how to solve customer service she has kindergarten skills of customer service, I cannot stand her . Fairways is robbing you by letting the contractors to use your outlet on your apartment patio and you pay for the electricity bill. So please be observant around your apartment patio. This year is my last year in Fairways, I will never recommend this place to anyone.

When my wife and I first moved into The Fairways it was under different management, much better management. Then shortly after we moved in a company bought the complex from them. The new staff at the Fairways has proven time and time again how incompetent they are, and how they lack basic customer service skills. The older property they inherited has issues at its core I.E. pipe lines, bugs, etc. We experienced 2 floods in our apartment, the first from a hot water line bursting under ground in our second bedroom. The second time it was the same thing, another old line bursting. They never once tried accommodating us in way shape or form. Then later on in our lease there our apartment got infested with cock roaches from a vacant apartment above us. Yet again treated it like it was no big deal. To top it off we had a drug addict BREAK into our apartment around 2am and walk into our bedroom staring at us while we were asleep, thank god my animals woke me up. I promptly told the person to leave as he did and called the police. I made the management change our locks (all though they do not believe in Re-Keying as it costs them too much money so they just swap around locks from different apartments and tell you they do Re-Key. Last but not least when we had our lease come to an end they tried charging us $300 dollars for dog poop that was outside our property from the neighbors dog (which I earlier informed them about the neighbor doing this and they told me not to worry about it). They then sent the bill that I refused to pay to collections and I fought it demanding them to withdraw the debt. To their credit after several months the manager finally decided to pull the debt from collections. So the moral of the story is if you want poor customer service and old nasty apartments that they try to make look pretty with paint, The Fairways is for you!
