It is a beautiful place with excellent attention from its employees and facilities that I cannot complain about, mostly respectful and quiet neighbors, currently there is a problem with the use of marijuana, but it is understood that that depends on the inhabitants, not of administration. The four stars are because there was no light in the room and that would have been good to know since we are new to the country and we had no idea that you should place your own spotlights here. On the other hand, they charge extra for minimal details that make the rent never what is expected. At the moment I am really disappointed in this place because they are going to implement new technological improvements that we did not ask for, but we also have no option to reject and they are going to increase the monthly rent, that is, we have to change our entire budget for the following year, this is really unfair and alarming because it opens the possibility of it happening again and you simply have to accept, pay and shut up.

Excellent place to live. I have lived since January of 2021 and have experienced nothing but excellent service from office to maintenance. Perhaps Ive been lucky. My apartment is directly adjacent to the entrance to the park and all the amenities have always been available. Gabriel in the front office is a kind and compassionate person and would suggest that you contact this person. He has continued to help me with any issues or concerns that arise.

A wonderful place to call home. Wonderful staff and a responsive maintenance crew. I would go so far as to say, this has been the best apartment that I have lived in Phoenix, and I have lived in 4 complexes before this one. It is in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of outdoorsy activities, with Thude park which is adjacent to the property. We have only been here since May of 2020 and we are loving every moment of it. Looking forward to spending the holidays in our new home.

Im not sure if this is a race thing a homophobic thing or just laziness but weve had the same issue with our kitchen flooding from the sink we try calling try putting in maintenance requests even ask for updates and no response. Now, were going hungry not being able to eat at home because the last thing we were told was to not use the sink or dishwasher there are more maintenance issues that need to be resolved but have not been

Lived here for several years. Beautiful apartment and pool. The maintenance staff is friendly and prompt but the management is HORRIBLE - No follow up, ZERO concern for resident safety, and a deal with it attitude, all the way up to their Corp office. Im breaking my lease this month and getting out of here before my wife and I get burglarized again. Or worse.

My first time living in Chandler and I was ultimately let down my this apartment. When i moved in i saw multiple cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. There was pet urination stains in the carpet andthere was smell in the apartment that i could never get rid of. When bringing this up to the leasing office they said i would haveto move all my stuff back out and they could clean the carpets and spray for bugs and i would have to vacate the apartment for a couple dayson my own expense.Another issue that really bothered me was a week after i moved in they did an inspection on the apartment and said they wanted to remodel mybathroom and i would have to move stuff out and stay somewhere else for 3 days. This is after they told me my apartment set empty for a monthbefore i moved in. Why didnt they just do the remodel before I moved in?Living here, they will constantly come up with excuses to come into your apartment. Yearly inspection, fire extinguisher inspection, back patioinspection, ect.. They will email you weekly about pointless things. Most of the amenities are closed more than they are open. Lots of remodeling but nothing changes. Theres an app where you could post on a community feed but too many people complained so now they censorthe feed so theres no negative messages.Theres a park next door which is nice but a lot of people complained about theft at night from homeless people in the park. I didnt experienceany issues but it didnt seem like management did anything about it. They could have put up cameras or fixed the broken locks on the doors leadingto the park. This place is expensive and during covid my lease my up and they tried to raise my rates by 20% so even during a global pandemicthey will screw you over.Everything about the kitchen sucks. I like to cook but the dishwasher smells very bad and the oven and stove top are gas powered and are hardto start. The lighting in the kitchen is bad. Hard to see anything while your cooking. I would expect to just eat out a lot if you live here.Forced Valet Trash service that never actually picks up your trash. They should just make it optional but i get it. No one would use it becauseits pointless.

This is definitely a really nice community with amenities such as a huge pool with a sand beach, gym, tennis court, volleyball court, party room, plenty of flowers and decor. I lived here for 2 year and had a good time. Although it seems like management has high turnover, most of the people are pretty friendly. Whatever the rent is, add another $100/month due to other expenses such as trash pick up, management fees, community utilities, etc. Unfortunately, I wasnt aware of these expenses before moving in.I lived in a class non-upgraded unit. Everything inside the apartment was pretty basic and of low quality. The carpets were brand new when I moved in but were very cheap and smelled really bad for a few days when I first moved in. Also, the apartment ceiling fans did not include lights, which had to be added separately for $25/fan. Its worth replacing the cheap ceiling fan light bulbs, which burn out after a few days, with LEDs. I did this but paid out of pocket. If anything breaks, report it to management and have them fix it, even though repairs can be a bit spotty. For example, my dishwasher was leaking and after 3 service calls, it still wasnt fixed. At that point I just gave up and put a towel at the base. Anything that breaks and is not reported to management before moving out, will be charged to you... and they charge a lot, so make sure to get it fixed for free before moving out.One frustrating part about living at San Cervantes was people with dogs not picking up after their pets. This was a very common issue that was constantly popping up on the community board, but not much was done about it. People would walk their dogs at night and just leave the cr@p on the sidewalk, so it would be difficult to prove who did it.The main reason why I moved out was due to rent increases. After the first year, my rent went up 4.5%. At the end of the second year, they wanted to increase my rent by 8%, so I moved out. Although for the most part I liked living here, I would probably look for other options before moving here again.

I am writing this a few years late. We lived here a year and loved it. Our apartment overlooked the park on the 2nd floor and we have so many great memories here. It was clean, no pests, attentive staff, and great pool. And it had a gas range. If for some reason we ever needed to move back and live in an apartment, a Mark Taylor property would be our first look.

Happiest Ive ever been in an apartment! I wish I would have known of this Mark Taylor designed complex YEARS ago! It really says a lot that theyre always at capacity and I can attest that No one ever wants to move away. The office staff are amazingly approachable and professional, not to mention friendly, ( which everyone knows is unheard of ).  I work nights so getting to a gym to work out can be a challenge; The 24 hour gym with 2 televisions and free weight is so nice to have. Security is onsite every night and always friendly. But most of all, besides the beach sand of the huge serpentine pool with 2 separate hot tubs and steam rooms in each bathroom, is the private gate key I possess that makes my wife and I feel like the spectacular park, adjacent to the complex, is our very own. Though we are seconds away from the 101 and the 202 respectively,  its so wonderfully quiet here. Walking to In N Out and to the mall has become a favorite weekend date night  ( were old and boring, dont judge ). The Halloween and Valentines parties in the clubhouse were a blast, but I still say the chili cook off this year was greater by far than last years!

Dont expect to live here for more than one year.I had a good enough experience with maintenance and amenities, definitely what I would expect for the price tag. However, Im about to renew my lease and these people want to increase my rent a whopping 12% for a 12-month lease. Completely ridiculous. Id rather spend the difference paying for movers and save in the long run.

I really hate to edit a review like this because my experience was flawless right until the moment we moved out. We moved out and cleaned the entire apartment once we did. The carpets were brand new when we moved in and were in very good condition as we moved out. When I received my refund for the deposits, it was very low. We were charged $700 for new carpeting and an additional $150 for floor cleaning. New carpet to replace new carpet? Strange. By no means was I expecting to get every penny back, but this is a little excessive for a place that has half wood flooring and was maintained well. I guess its just one extra way to suck some money out of tenants as they move out.

First of all, let me describe my family:Mom and Dad, both engineers and working2 kids (4yo and 2yo)The apartment community is great at first, with a very nice playground and an awesome sand beach in the pool, along with hot tubs, trash pickup at your door and well kept gardens. We lived here for about 5 months, and the kids enjoyed quite a bit, even though the largest apartment they have has ridiculously small living and dining rooms in favor of an oversized master bedroom and closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom (and their closets) were of a good size, and the kitchen, although small, was well designed. Now the bad:- If you have too many visitors, the system to reach you in your apartment and let you open the gate is terrible, you might have to go down to the gate to open to your guests if they come after hours.- The grills are not all very well kept, and the one by my apartment worked very poorly- We lived in a 3 bedroom in the 2nd (top) story, and even though the orientation was good, the apartment got REALLY hot even with mild weather, so it seems reasonable to conclude that the insulation is extremely poor and you can expect electric bills in the summer that are too high for an apartment. Now the terrible:- The heat started a couple weeks before we moved out, and the pool became a zoo. At the beach (where most of the toddlers play) we found groups of young adults (in their early 20) drinking a lot, cussing like sailors and simulating sex positions while telling their friends what they supposedly did with a certain girl or guy the night before. Yes, you read it correctly what I wrote....- When getting my end of lease statement the charges were reasonable, but the deal I thought I had gotten was not what I did get. It turns out that the girls that sell you the lease are not really aware of what they are selling, so I wasted around 100 bucks. You better read the 30 pages contract instead of listening to their 5 minutes explanation.
