Front desk representative are very rude after payment of application fees, they force to go for jetty or high security deposit. I have applied for 1bdr and paid $300 for application fees. After screening they asking me for $2132 for security deposit or go for jetty. Near other apartments like reflection and crossroad asking me max $750 security fee their rating are service are very good. And lease office manager(Lisa) have no time to talk with me once in a full day, Busy in hold day in meeting. I have no choice cause I paid $300 application fees(very costly), they said its non refundable cause its approved. horrible experience. some front desk representative (Brigette and Michele) never listen the applicant word and problem. always saying same word corporate rule/decision/ 3rd party screening blah.. try to avoid lease sign better to go Gila Spring reflection/Crossroad chandler - similar and renovated apartment

I’ve just moved in and so far I am impressed. My move-in experience was easy and stress-free, thanks to Annmarie. She kept in contact with me every step of the way, made sure my pre-move-in duties were clear, concise, and completed, and answered any questions I add quickly and thoroughly (even twice on a couple occasions). She was lovely to work with, and a huge help in how smoothly my move-in ran.The complex is great and huge! Lots of greenery for the pups and a lot of shade coverage from the tall trees (thank you… from a summer move-in), and my long wrap-around patio with three points of entry is freaking rad!!Maintenance is friendly, quick, and responsive, and the 24/7 gym is a sweet touch for someone who works nights.Seems like a great fit for me and my pugs! When my dad died a year ago they told me that 30 days written notice for move out was required. He was the main lease holder and I, his 18 year old daughter, lived there alone with him. They took one months worth of rent out of the security deposit and down payments I had paid stating that because we hadnt given them 30 days written notice I had to pay for the next months rent as well even though I moved out the day after he died. You would think they would care a little more and be more understanding instead of trying to milk you for every penny even after youre dead. Dont know how they expect someone to write 30 days written notice with death.

Upon move-in the apartment was super clean and in really great shape. If you’re looking for good apartments in this area definitely check these out! By all means stay away from the Reflections apartments right down the street from here. I just came from there and when I moved in there the apartment was in bad condition, noisy neighbors, super thin walls, their units don’t even have water heaters AND they are more expensive than Country Brook! Had to let the water run for several minutes just to get warm water even in the middle of summer! Anyway, Country Brook is very nice and I highly recommend them. I don’t plan on leaving here until the day comes when I get a house.

I was so tempted to give this apartment 5 stars, until today happened. I look outside, and my car is gone. Why? Because it was towed for being dirty. No notice from the apartment, it didnt break anything in the lease, it was registered, and it was operable. My vehicle was stolen by the towing company and now Im being charged for it. This apartment wont care about you or your checkbook. As long as they get theirs, forget everything else. The worst part about all of this, is that they knew it had been towed, but never contacted me. They send me emails telling me everything else. This is shady business at its finest.

There is no lesser rating than this. The leasing staff are rude once you sign the lease. They will not counter their mistake of documentation and impose on residents to abide by rule without realizing they did not reviewed all documents before getting lease signed from us. Cost of this apartment is sky high, maintenance is bad, utilities rule are strict and additionally charge money. They govern how we should stay inside home and while stepping out what we should do and not. Kids are not allowed to play in nearby area outside apartment, dog waste lies everywhere and get cleaned weekly only. Shaded parking for corner cars are half shaded and cars at corners who pay for full shade parking gets exposed to rain, sun, heat etc.You cannot get renters insurance from anywhere other than their partnered insurance company since they need coverage for bed bug and water sewage everything and bed bug is standardly not covered by any insurance company. Then their partnered firm charges double the price of renters insurance which you can cheaper rate outside without bed bug. Bed bugs are pest control and they charge separately for pest in monthly fees. They dictate terms and can levy any new rule during mid of lease term and they simply say we dont want to argue, do or pay fine or reach out to whoever you want. And this has started since new management took over a year back, earlier this was not the problem or lobbying of this insurance things.I do not recommend anyone to stay here, please avoid visiting this society or if you have family with kids, be ready to experience worst days of your life.

Ive been staying in this community for almost 8 years now and never have I gone through such ordeal and poor management as I have in the last 1.5 years. The new management rates 0 in customer service and simply does not care. I have emails from their manager and staff where they had agreed to perform maintenance work in my apt if I extend the lease. They even gave me paperwork to sign for the work order when I signed the lease and only when I confirmed about the task I realized that they had got it all wrong. There were some delays thereafter in clarifying what was needed and now their answer is that they cannot do anything as it is against their company policy to perform said maintenance work when the apartment is occupied (even the one they gave me paperwork to sign for). Theyve also started a new thread where I was asked to have minimum insurance that was not in my contract. I had to send them multiple emails giving snapshots from my lease to explain my concerns and they kept on sending their standard text from new contract forms . Half of the time, they dont even bother to read emails and just provide standard replies (much like they do for these reviews). Ive started looking around and so should you. It is better to pay more and get some peace than trying to beg for things that youve already paid for. Added bonus is Scorpions, roaches, other bugs and dog poop.

This place is very close to my office and Desert Breeze Park. It was not very fancy on photos but relatively inexpensive. Thats why I decided to rent a 3-bedroom apartment at Country Brook instead of Sun Brisas or Reflections. After 2 years of living there I think it was a mistake. The lighting in the nearest pool (one of three) was usually broken (my work orders were just closed without explanation). Appliances were old and very loud. Any maintenance took forever. On the photos attached you can see my bedroom after one rainy day at the end of February. I reported that roof leak a month before that rain. It was just ignored in January. As the result after the next heavy rain the master bedroom was ruined. they needed 10 days (ten) to fix the ceiling and dry the room. I suppose it would be much cheaper to fix the relatively small leakage in January but it seems like the management had its own reasons to do it in their own way.PS Be prepared to low ceilings and rusty bathtubs.PPS If you need more information about the management team please read MEB reviews on Google Map. I recommend to do it before you chose this place.

Lastly all all they care is for money and not your comfort or peice of mind. The floor layout was not what I saw online it was much smaller than what was shown.

I lived at Country Brook for a little over 2 years. I absolutely loved living here. The location was perfect... I swear anything and everything is within 5 minutes. It’s super close to Chandler Mall and between the 101 and the 10 which made any commute easy. I’ve read the reviews regarding the new Management, MG, which weren’t the people managing when I lived there. There were a few management changes, but I didn’t mind. Everybody was always kind and ready to help. Recently, I accidentally had a package sent to my old apartment at Country Brook (mind you moved out nearly 2 years ago) and the current people there with MG were super friendly. I worked with Elizabeth who was able to find my package and held it for me so I could pick it up (had part of my sons Christmas gift). She was super friendly and helpful. Regardless, I genuinely loved living here and often refer people who are looking for apartments. I only moved because bought a house.

The community itself is generally clean and quiet. Maintenance is usually pretty quick to respond. Rent is a little outrageous, but it appears that wont be changing anytime soon. The biggest issue Ive had is with the office staff: If you want a snapshot of what many people are like in this often socially awkward metro area, go to the front office, where youll be greeted with poker faces who never smile, are not really friendly at all, are barely cordial -- and its pretty clear that also wont be changing anytime soon. When I first moved to this complex, the former manager, Jessica, and much of her staff then were warm and friendly, and seemed sincerely interested in providing a good experience to residents. I was so excited / happy to have moved into this complex back then. I thought, Wow, what nice people!Thats pretty much gone out the door now. And the generic Were glad you like our community, but sorry to hear comment they leave about reviews on here ironically just reinforces this staffs insincerity. Or perhaps they choose which residents they will like or not like. I dunno. But its pretty clear that they dont like me -- that is, someone who always greets them in a friendly manner; someone who pays my rent on time; someone who has not been a problem in my residence, with my neighbors, etc; someone who even helped one of the maintenance guys one time with a furniture related matter involving another resident. And I havent seen the office staff be much friendlier to anyone else. Particularly if you have a question: Their answers are short, cold, and definitely not engaging. On the flip side, the maintenance staff have always been pretty friendly to me. Interesting..Kindness and a smile go a long way, folks. Always remember that.

I would like to start off this review by saying that I am a veteran that served two tours overseas, am a full-time college student pursing a commissioning in the military and am a loyal father and husband. I have never had issues with paying rent until renting from this property. If you are looking to move to this property, please beware. I have had an ongoing billing issue with this business and they have been less than helpful. This all began with a technical issue with my resident portal which did not allow me to pay my rent and the property was fully aware of this. After resolving the issue, I was told that they would send me a lease renewal and I was instructed NOT TO PAY RENT until I received it. 10 days after that communication, I still did not have a lease renewal. At this point, I was put on orders to go train for 2 weeks and I was not allowed to have access to a phone or computer. Upon my return, I had found out that the leasing office had taken me to court, changed the locks on my apartment, and was demanding that I leave despite me making several efforts to renew my lease and pay my rent. At this point, I decided that I would move in with family and sort this out on my own time. I arranged with the leasing office to move my things out on short notice but was only able to move large items out. I rescheduled to get the rest of my things out a few days later. I was a couple hours late to pick the rest of my things up only to find that the apartment was open and all of small personal belongings were thrown in the garbage. I resolved this issue with the property to which they assured me that a judgement/eviction would not be placed on my credit history. Fast forward to July of this year and I found out through another apartment complex that I indeed had an eviction placed on my credit history despite the property and the collection agency they work with assuring me one would not be placed on my history. I contacted them last week to discover that they were screening my calls. This lead to me driving down to the property where they gave me the run around. At this point I contacted the Los Angeles Area Manager who forwarded me to the Phoenix Area Manager, Lisa Cote. After hashing things out over a two separate calls, I was able to get into a new apartment. Several days later, I was contacted by MG Properties central billing instructing me that I owed them $2600 for a past due balance despite it being paid in full when I was made aware of it a year ago. Tamara, the property manager instructed her front office personnel to screen my calls despite their central billing office contacting me saying that I owe them money. The central billing office told me to contact them just for me to find out that they are screening my calls. I *67d their office and then they answered. I was hung up on after they realized who they were speaking with, and after immediately calling back, I was told the property manager was not in. I called back a second time and after getting into a shouting match, I was put through to the manager at which point I was told that they would look into it. I was not given an apology and Tamara offloaded all responsibility on Central Billing (which is a part of MG properties, not collections). This company will do everything in their power to screw over your renting history and will take zero responsibility for it. I have in writing from the Arizona Area Manager that this was all a mistake and was a miscommunication. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Countrybrook Apartments. The management there is pathetic and unprofessional at best. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau effective 7-21-2020. I have all of the evidence to corroborate this story as well. These people will view you as income, not as a person. Mark-Taylor is a much better choice if you are looking to rent.

I moved into a roach infested apartment. There were literally hundreds of roaches so I demanded I be moved before they ruined my furniture and belongings. I move my stuff out and demanded a new unit. The staff fought my request until I provided AZ Renters Rights articles as well as my lawyers phone number. They moved me pretty abruptly after this, but into a different building; (you guessed it) another roach filled unit. This was not a bad infestation, but there were still daily sightings. I was still not satisfied, but after multiple treatments of the unit, it was cut to weekly sightings. I moved units about 6 months later to a completely different area of the complex, but again, had roaches in this unit! I even had a bee infestation to the point where they were entering my unit through the ventilation! I had finally earned enough money to invest in property, so I moved out as soon as I closed on a house. Worst apartment I have ever lived in. Terrible air conditioning units, high rent costs, unbelievably high lease termination fees, high month to month fees, and the cherry on top was that they charged me a pet cleaning fee on the way out even though I removed the stains that were pre existing and I HAVE NEVER OWNED A PET. If you pick this as your next home, good luck and enjoy the roach neighbors. I wish I had something good to say about this complex. New management took over during my lease, so hopefully they are bettering the property. They did upgrade the property before I vacated, but I was still was beyond ready to leave this situation. Sorry for the terrible review, but my experience was beyond disappointing. I hope the new agency does better.

We needed this apartment short term. On move.in day it was filthy with dead roaches everywhere. We signed a 4 month lease. The lady had to email the contract 3 different times because they kept over charging. Finally when we where signing they do not go over the fees that will be charged later they dont even discuss that there will be more fees. ( pest fees and service fee). Really service fee. Each month the rent charged to their app was wrong. Any number you call is straight to voicemail or another of their properties. So after going in to the office the say it will be corrected on next bill. They correct current but never the next bill. I should have read the paperwork but even if you sign a short term agreement you still have to give a 60 day notice. I did not and when asked what can be done the snotty office worker with a condescending attitude says nothing. We sent you a reminder notice. Which they did not. Then after saying that, again my fault for not reading contact, she said well even if we didnt its your responsibility to remember. I agree but this uneducated snotty girl needs a new job. Then, MG Properties bought out the community, hired all new staff, remodeled a lot. MG, is still renovating the community adding a lot of new things that youll have to come and see for yourself. The community is being revitalized and I decided to move from a two-bedroom (Fully Upgraded) to a three-bedroom that I love dearly. All new flooring, appliances, etc. ALL IS GREAT. My AC stopped working in the summer of all times and it happened 3 times already and we are only half way through the summer season here.- Other times, its the shower not working or the washing machine having some issues. I understand if this is a one off case but there should not be so many maintenance requests for one apartment unit.- To their credit they do fix the issues promptly but I question their validity sometimes. They seem to be some kind of quick fixes which lead to things breaking down again.- My personal experience has been a bad one and I would definitely not recommend this place.

To be honest, the reviews for this property are true. When I first walked in, I was greeted by a very unfriendly lady, she rudely acted like I was bothering them, when I had an appointment. I said my name and she pointed to the lady behind her to help me. The 2nd lady was nicer but never made any eye contact. I looked at the apartment that I received an email on. She said it was ready to go and had stainless steel appliances. It had dirty black appliances. There were dirty hand marks on the walls. The paint was chipping off the walls. It had a musty smell in the apartment. I looked at those things and wanted to turn around and leave but followed her from room to room and it was just as bad throughout. I finally frustratingly asked if this apartment was ready to go and she confirmed it was and that they could trade out the black appliances for stainless steel if I wanted. When we rode in the golf cart around the property, the dumpster was so overfilled onto the ground that flys were all around it and she didn’t say a word about it. I personally would be humiliated to show an apartment at this complex. She pointed out that the outside lighting will be replaced with LED lighting. Personally, they need to worry about a lot more than LED lighting. We got locked out while she showed me the gym area. The initial rude lady wouldn’t let us in. I knocked on the door and asked to be let in, didn’t happen. We walked around to the office front door. She mentioned that because of where I work, that the admin fee would be waived. That was nice, until she told me I’d have to pay it and wait to be reimbursed. The only good thing that I can say about the apartment is that it has a large front and back balcony and the gym was a nice size with decent equipment.I emailed my concerns about all of the above and never heard back with an apology or anything. She asked me while I was in the office to please leave a review, so here it is. She said the prior reviews were due to old management. I don’t think they were... I wouldn’t move here until my next option was being homeless or living here.Country Brook needs to offer a move in special or something to get tenants to be interested in this site.

Ive been here for almost a year. Office staff isnt super friendly but they get the job done. Maintenance is quick, but all of their fixes are temporary. Weve had to submit the same three maintenence requests at least 3 or 4 times. Nothing major, just mildly annoying. Minimal hot water; I can barely take a 7 minute shower without the water going cold, no matter how many times weve had the water heater adjusted. Weve never had any issues with bugs in our apartment aside from the occasional mosquito during the monsoon season. One of my roommates was charged $200 to take his name off the lease: a cost we were never made aware of, and that wasnt part of our lease agreement.Walls are pretty thin, I can hear my next door neighbors when they are in their restroom, and my upstairs neighbors I can hear almost 24/7.Overall Id recommend this place if youre looking to live in a decent neighborhood and small maintenance issues dont bother you. A little too pricy for me, but not the worst.

I have lived here for 3 months and absolutely looove this place!!!! My experience here has been nothing less than wonderful! I relocated here and was very nervous about finding a safe, clean place to live. I visited 7-8 complexes before I came to country brook, and when I met Alec, I knew then this would be a great place to live. He was so laid back, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Everywhere else I went, it felt like people were trying to sell me on a place to live. Alec answered all of my questions and showed me all of the available options the property had to offer. The apartment homes are beautiful. I am always complimented when i have company over on what a nice place i have. Country Brook was a great choice. The location is prime as well and very close to shopping centers, grocery stores, highways and a beautiful park, thats within walking distance for residents. Three months in, and more then ever i appreciate Alecs honesty. I have not had ANY issues at all!!! One of my major concerns were bugs, like scorpions. When I asked about this, Alec laughed at me and assured i wouldnt have any issues. He was right! The only bug i have seen since being here is the occasional bee by a bush outside :). The property is also well maintained by an efficient and friendly staff. I havent met them all, but Danny in particular is awesome. I had an issue in my apartment (normal household stuff) and he made sure the problem was not only rectified but did so in a timely manor and made the process stress free. I could go on and go about the amazing staff, services, accommodations, and grounds... but in all honesty, its a great place to call home.

I have lived here for 5 months. In overall, I was satisfied by this place and service. The location is prime. There is Frys nearby, and Chandler Fashion Center is just 5 mins by car. ASU is quite close.Maintenance service is quick and nice. It is done within 48 hours, and in urgent matters, they take care of it within hours. There are events going on every months and I like it. For example, the office provide some free breakfast once a month and its nice. The only thing that I dont like is that this place is a bit old... but this location is perfect, really.

Do not listen to their responses. I have really tried to make this a comfortable living space for my girlfriend and I but after many instances of issues its easy to assume that the management carries no compassion or care for their residents. We once had to stay at a friends house due to a mold issue that took the complex three months to fix. They will never work with helping you pay your rent(it costs ~$30 to pay online and they have very strict office hours). The bathroom is rusted and the carpet wasnt cleaned but they deny that they didnt clean it. When things would break it could be fixed the next day or a quarter of a year from then.Bottom line, the management lies, has no compassion for tennents, hits you with hidden fees, and ultimately doesnt care past receiving your money. So dont give it to them.

I have lived at Country Brook for over year and have signed 3 different leases since I went from short term, to short term, to 12-month. I have also lived in 3 different apartments on-site due to obtaining, and then losing, a roommate. The staff are awesome. Joann and Lynn are such sweet women, and the manager Kim is usually very pleasant.Right now I am questioning whether to renew my lease. I love my apartment, the grounds, the maintenance crew do a good job, and I like having Desert Breeze Park just a short walk away. My issue has been with the other tenants. While a lot of those living here are Intel employees (since the campus is across the street) or other professionals, too many of them are basically scum of the earth who have no consideration for their neighbors. They are people who cry poor house yet have a 72 TV and a pimped out car, or those who have no job so they can party at the pool into the wee hours of the morning. We have pretty cheap rent here compared to the rest of Chandler, so that is the sort of crowd that is attracted (i.e. about $700 for a 2 bedroom right now). That is the only thing that is making me consider leasing elsewhere... If the complex was a little more careful about who they allowed in, Id have no problem staying on.I think the complex is considered pretty safe, though I have been warned not to put my bike outside. I had mine locked up under the carport for about 5 months, then I was warned not to do that anymore. I think I have seen cop cars here maybe twice during my year, and its nice having the police station a mile down the road.Basically, if you come to live here and happen to be blessed with respectful, quiet neighbors this complex is awesome. However if you get a noisy good for nuthin living under you then it will ruin your experience :) As is true for any complex.

Do not move here. The front office is very rude and not helpful. Your neighbors will be criminals doing drug deals in the parking lot. Maintenance personnel is sub-par. You will not get what you pay for as this complex is very expensive for apartment living. This complex is the only negative part of the Desert Breeze community.

Everybody would have a different experience and opinion about the same place, I understand. Every place has its own pros and cons, I know. But.....Please hear what I say here; yes, definitely very good location and peaceful, quiet neighborhood, as some people say here. Yes, everything is good and nice......EXCEPT for the MEB management.I had lived here for as long as 7 years as a faithful resident until I began to have issues with this new BAD management last year. For instance, this apartment is really old and has got various bugs, including big roaches and ants, but the management didnt seem to really care about it when the problem was reoccurring over and over again. If you email me, I will provide you with video clips about it to help you figure out whats going on.On top of that, there were numerous cases of floodings, water leaks, and drops here and there for over a year since the advent of this management. I dont blame the maintenance guys as they are nice and kind, especially Victor. I like them. The thing was that the problems were NOT really fixed and they happened again and again. But they said we are just unlucky. This is really absurd....you know.Thats why I moved out now. BUT when I moved out this happened; they charged me $225 OUT of $225 deposit, including carpet cleaning fee for the next residents. So theres NO refund at all, and this can happen to you, too. Simply, they will try to rip you off.PLEASE, please be careful not to be screwed by the management and especially the manager Jessica in the office. If you prefer to live in a good neighborhood, I will recommend (but still reluctantly) this place. But if you prefer good management and to protect your money, I would rather pay the rent for the first whole month for you to move to another apartment; such a highly unrecommendable place it is....Actually, the management is NOT even worth one star in this review based on my experience. Maybe I am just unlucky, like they said, but I would say they are unlucky too, as they have a resident like me who should leave a very bad review here.PLEASE consider what I said here if you are thinking about moving in there.

Highlight: - Great central location. Walking distance to Frys and Desert Breeze Park.- Easy move-out process.Lowlights (most were one-offs):- When I first moved in, the AC kept leaking. The dispatcher contacted the on-call technician who only told me to put a bucket underneath and that he would be in first thing in the morning.- No one really showed me a tour of the place, so only later when I asked where the recycle bin was, I realized that there was only one shared among all these units. I didnt mind the walking, but mgmt should show people where things are because I saw so many people throwing out recyclable items into the trash bins - some probably because they dont know a recycle bin exists.- Their mail/delivery policy says that theyre not responsible for any packages actually handed to the right recipients. I had someone that took my package by accident (because he moved units but still asked for a package addressed to the old unit) and the leasing office said its in the leasing contract that theyre not responsible for that. That person returned my package, but still inconvenient. As mentioned, most of the lowlights were one-offs, but I feel like theyre worth mentioning. Overall, in the one year that I lived there, I liked it.

Scam. They dont tell you of any charges before hand and charge you for everything. They want a 60 day notice for even a 3 month lease and charge you if you dont give notice. The worse part is youre not even informed about charges until you checkout. Horrible maintenance and quality of appliances.

I stayed in the apartment for nearly 2+ years in the apartments. The maintenance staff was ok but had to call them multiple times to get any appliance problems. The front staff were never cordial. They charged $50 bugs when we moved out and and this was not even mentioned to us when we made the final amount towards the rent.
