The application process is a scam to receive the most application fees (minimum $50, plus$50 for each additional applicant, pet fees, etc). The fees are to be expected, however, to not communicate status is misleading. We did inquire about the availability. The economy is booming in Wake County and it appears this complex is taking advantage of those seeking housing. I pray the management takes the proper steps to secure applicants personal and sensitive data.Over the course of about four weeks, we were strung along, as we tried to find out the status of our application. Jose/Julio in maintenance, answered the phone unable to provide any details and did not know when either of the two managers would be back in the office. Chelsey Turner was listed as our contact and did not return any emails or calls. Initially, super quick to provide link to create an account and apply, oddly enough. Thankfully, we found another apartment that was upfront and honest about their availability. So, before you apply, attempt contacting the office first and verify their availability and the process. They will most likely NEVER respond and youll know your answer. MOVE ON AND BE THANKFUL!

Living at Oxford Square has been a great experience! The apartment price was great for the area. We love living next to a lot of shopping centers. The office and maintenance staff have both accommodated all of my needs. We look forward to referring friends and family!

There are not that many places in Cary that really care about you.The staff here is unlike no other.Chelsey took her time to make sure that I had the home I wanted as well as needed. By her being empathetic to my needs, I felt as if we had connected, building a working relationship I could trust. I could see myself actually living in a community such as this. It has exactly what I want and that is whatever I need, in walking distance.

My boyfriend and I love living at Oxford Square Apartments the office staff is very helpful! We love the playground for our two toddlers and only a few minutes walk to their elementary school. The pool is a major plus especially with the hot weather!

The photos and five star reviews of this place are fake. All the pictures landscaping, pool water, buildings, and green grass has been air brushed within an inch of its life.Look at how they maintain their white fence and the landscaping traffic median circle. The fence has been broken for years and are covered in green mold. The traffic median is overgrown with weeds with a tree about to fall over.If they do not care to maintain the entryway of their community, what do you think the inside of the apartments look like? Dont get me started on the roaches.You can rent better places in a third world country.Feedback to Owners Response:If you are looking for ways to improve, begin with the following.1.) Fix your broken fence by the traffic circle.2.) Power wash the green slime off your white fence.3.) Trim the weeds down around your traffic circle median.4.) Tell your tenants to stop dropping garbage in the street and on the medians.These are not expensive items to resolve and would go a long way into fooling future tenants into thinking that they are not moving into a complete cockroach infested slum.

Nobody in the office answsers the phone or calls you back. I have been calling for weeks now and have not heard from anyone. The lady from the answering service who said her name is Vanilla said its because im not a priority. Its not just this location its the whole company. Do Not Recommend. Not the best customer service.

Every single review for this place above 1 star is faked by Chelsea and her staff. This apartment complex is extremely unsafe, riddled with bugs and trash. I hear sirens and coming in and out of the neighborhood most nights and nightly I hear loud arguments from neighbors. Every single apartment is infested with every insect in the animal kingdom. You need to dive deeper into the reviews if you are serious about renting out a place here. I remember on my first 3 days of living in my apartment the power didn’t even work and when I called the staff to come fix it all they did is Chelsea sent her useless husband in to look at it and all he did was plug an iPhone charger into the wall and when it didn’t charge his phone he decided there was nothing he could do about it and since it was a weekend he wouldn’t call out an electrician because it was a “non emergency”

This place has roaches everywhere. I went to the main office and called and left messages but no one has fixed the issue. The last thing you want is to wake up everyday seeing roaches, or go to sleep knowing you have roaches crawling around. Roaches are coming in from everywhere, from the bathroom to the kitchen. No one should live like this.

If you plan on moving here …. Big MISTAKE !!!! The roaches are so bad that they are in all appliances and you pay for exterminator every month but you will be lucky if one comes in your apartment once a year. My air conditioner has been broken again. This time for 2 days in 90 degree weather oh and have called for 2 days and no one has even came to look at it. They care more about how the outside looks instead of the inside.

I moved in a few months ago and so far i love it! The office staff is amazing, maintenance comes same day, the grounds look amazing! I was hesitant to lease here at first because they dont have washer and dryers in the units, and it was giving me flash backs to college, but they keep the laundry rooms really clean! And you can get a debit card vs paying with coins. Definitely recommend! Location is nice specially for the price

I was nervous at first because this is my first apartment but the people in the office made everything so simple. They communicated daily during my application process and even called me after to make sure I was comfy!

I Love living here. The office has monthly activities for kids & brand new playground. The office staff is one of the main reasons i leased here, they are the sweetest people. They were there from start to finish making the move in process go as smoothly as possible! Even though the buildings belong in the sixties the landscaping is amazing and the inside of the apartments are well cared for. I would definitely recommend Oxford Square!

Just moved out but figured that I owed it the wonderful staff at Oxford to leave a review. Im moving for work so this isnt up to me, but if I had the choice I would stay another 2 years at least. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable and friendly which is rare nowadays, and the office staff is super helpful and always available. I can really appreciate that management has put an emphasis on reflecting the demographics they serve with the people they choose to hire. Its a great little community and I was happy to be a part of it.

I work in Durham but i didnt want to live in Durham so this was a great location! right off the highway! The buildings on the outside look old but they are well kept. The inside is what actually blew me away! he renovations are amazing!

From the moment you walk into the welcoming clubhouse you already feel at home. The well stocked coffee and tea bar is my favorite and a great plus since Im a huge tea drinker! The staff is very friendly and can answer all of your questions regarding the leasing process etc. This is the best value in Cary! The new management has really turned the place around and are doing AMAZING renovations in the apartments. Go check them out!

My husband and I recently went to tour the property and the office staff was very friendly and welcoming. We are looking for a place until our home is ready. The office space was very nice, clean & looked recently upgraded. There was a woman who we spoke with I believe Chelsey or Kelsey she was very knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area and definitely made us feel like we were already home!

All i do is work and come home. But i love coming home to my apartment here. it is sooo cozy! I rarely need maintenance but when i do Mo the maintenance guy fixes it same day. Only way i would move is for more space. i have the smallest one bedroom but it has a huge closet so i cant complain.

This is by far the best apartment i have stayed in for the price offered. There are so many amenities available to the residents and the people up in the office are so friendly! Especially Chelsey, shes so helpful and has always answered all of my questions quickly and with a smile on her face.

We visited the apartment complex over the weekend and were met with the utmost professionalism and understanding staff. The community room was busy with residents selling their crafts. We also observed management mingling with residents and responding to their needs in a timely fashion. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE! You can never find parking near your actual apartment because there’s like 5 cars to one apartment! This place is dusty and not worth your money. There are nicer places for cheap near here! Don’t listen to the good reviews because they are FAKE!

Horrible experience here. I lived on the second floor and there was railing missing where my two-year-old could have easily fallen through and injured himself severely or even died. I reported this 3 times, in person, on the phone, and filled out an online maintenance report. The report said that the maintenance was filled, but never was. On top of this the apartment was INFESTED with cockroaches. The garbage would pile up all over and looked filthy and smell worse. Worst place to live. They clearly do not care for keeping childrens lives safe, they repeatedly neglected to fix the broken railing that my 3 children all under 7 could have easily fallen through. Dont move in here!

Weve been looking in different areas throughout the triangle, as weve had some unfortunate experiences with apartments in the past. We decided to check out Oxford, and we had THE best experience. Mandy, the new assistant manager, was awesome. She is such a kind soul, extremely knowledgeable of the property, and made us feel as though we were already home. We arent moving for a while as our lease doesnt end til July, but as far as Im concerned, our search is over. Wish we could move tomorrow!

Ive live in oxford square apt for well over two years now and till now my negative experiences have being few to none.here are some of the things I like about the oxford square apts.* Their pet friendly which is a plus for me since Im a dog owner.* Their staff is super friendly toward me and people i know that live here, yea we might crack a few jokes here and there but they keep it professional.*Theyre new way of payment and program a work order is WAY simpler than what it used to be.I certainly can keep going, but the review is already long as it is so Ill keep it at that.

Currently renting here and have been for a couple of years. Run from this place if you can. maintenance is a complete joke. They will never fix issues that arise without you constantly nagging on them about it. If they do show up to fix it they’ll make up excuses to not fix it. They charge for pest control but never have I seen them try to come and get rid of the roaches that infest the place at night. Its honestly not worth the hassle and energy that it takes to try and make maintenance come fix the place. The only reason we put up with it for so long was because the schools around the area are great, its proximity to stores, venues, ect. If it weren’t for that we would have broken our contract and moved out LONG ago. The only pro. About this place is Bianca and one of the maintenance guys who actually care about helping you out.

If you contact corporate number, they do very little to help. Its very sad that you have to pay rent for a place they wont make repairs to. Mold and Mildew on the baseboards in our unit. Roaches galore.

What a great find! Located close to EVERYTHING in the 2013 safest small city in America, I was thrilled to find something within my budget. The apartments are classic garden style apartments that are a good side and very affordable. The staff is wonderful and would recommend it to anyone as a place to live.

My husband and I, prospective renters, took a tour of Oxford Square apartments. We were very impressed with the entire property. After viewing several units, I can say that the apartments are clean, well-maintained, and quite lovely. With a variety of floor plans to choose from, reasonable rent rates, and a great location, Oxford Square will make a happy home for most renters. Also, we cant compliment Bianca and the management staff enough. Theyve been professional and a joy to work with while weve apartment hunted.

I have lived here for about 8 months. The apartments are disgusting and old, something is always breaking. Im embarrassed to have people come over because of how bad my apartment is. I was shown a model because the floor plan I was moving into wasnt available to see until after I signed a lease-huge mistake. The model looked awesome-- nothing like the apartment I moved into. The cabinets are falling off and there arent even real countertops. I once had a maintenance emergency and called 4 times between 5:30 pm and 11 pm and never received a call back. My lease cant be over soon enough. The only redeeming thing about these apartments are Bianca and Jesse in the leasing office. I wish they worked for a nicer apartment complex because they really are wonderful.

Only re-signed due to my rate. I should have spent more money somewhere else. The roaches are bad...parking is horrible if you come home anytime after dark. I have to park 4 buildings down at times...make it easy, give everyone a sticker for the car or cars on the lease and then tow the rest! Actually walk the property and take care of this. Plumbing issues constantly. Pool still not open and its almost August. Only good thing is the convenience of being close to the highway and the High School. This place needs an overhaul on the apartments themselves, not the office building to give the look of a great place.

The office staff is wonderful, but the apartments themselves are pretty miserable to live in. Despite constant cleaning and requesting the pest person to come in, the roaches were a constant struggle. We would frequently wake up in the middle of the night to hear our next door neighbors screaming at each other. Every noise and voice upstairs carried into our bottom floor apartment. People never cleaned up after their dogs and the grass in front of our apartment was littered with dog poop. Winter was freezing and after the snowstorm, the inside of our window panes were covered in ice. Something was ALWAYS breaking. The price is great, but its just not worth the stress of living here.

Bianca and maintenance staff are incredible, also is a very nice, quiet and friendly environment for your kids to grow up at.Only thing missing now is a mini park for the kids to enjoy

My boyfriend and I currently live together in a place that costs much more than these apartments and are looking to downsize. We went here and both of the leasing agents that we spoke with were incredibly rude and treated us with nothing but disrespect. We showed up 15 minutes BEFORE they quit giving tours, yet they could not quit reminding us that we showed up late and that they were about to quit giving tours for the day. On top of that, they acted like we would not be able to afford their apartment homes, informing us of all the bills we would be responsible for on top of the monthly rent. We are completely aware of the bills that come with apartments, considering we are already living in one that is even more expensive than their community. When we finally did get to take our tour, they did not have any available to show us of the units that we were interested in, so if we had decided to live there, we would have been buying a unit that we had not had the chance to see. As soon as we walked out, we both agreed that no matter how much we liked the floorplans and prices of the units we were interested in, there was NO WAY we would live in this community.

I use to work maintenance and live here. Thee filthiest cockroach infested place ive ever seen in my life. They tried to get a cop to move onto the property at a reduced rent rate, the cops wouldnt do it if they paid them to. Dont be fooled by the model apartment they will show you. The one you rent will look NOTHING like the model showroom apartment. Cars were broken into constantly. The management encourages the renters to give good ratings online, and the staff blows this place up to be the Taj Mahal. The only good thing about this place is leaving it.

I moved here from Missouri and went to look at this apartment complex. They told me that they did not have any apartments for me to look at besides the model apartment. The model looked great and it seemed the community was quite and clean. BEWARE LOOKS CAN BE DECIEVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid the leasing agent her fee and the deposit because I thought it was going to be a good starter place to my big move to North Carolina. I was scheduled to move in but could not have the keys until 5 pm because the day I was suppose to move in they had a few more repairs to do. Actually they were booming for roaches for the 5th time that week and did not want me to know that it was infested with bugs. I received the keys at 5:15 the day I was moving in. I had everything in the uhaul that I had been renting and movers to help me unload. When I walk into the apartment it was covered from the ceiling, walls, light panels, floor, closet doors in roaches. I walked out crying and had no ideal what I was going to do. I went up to the office and they offered to put me into another apartment. I looked at the new apartment and did not see any roaches for the 20 minutes of preview I did. Which I guess that was my mistake but I really did not have any choice at that time and I took the apartment. It ended up being infested with roaches. To end the story they kept telling me that they were coming to spray for bugs in my apartment and never did. After a few months of the bugs not getting better I started taping the bottom of the door shut to see if they were coming to spray. Guess what they were not! Then to top the story off the whole building and probably many more got infested with bedbugs. Thats when I had to move. They will not consider breaking your lease for a disgusting living situation and will try to suck every penny they can out of you. I WOULD ADVISE NO ONE EVER EVER EVER TO LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not rent 1204 village green way APT C, This apartment is full bugs and have major sour problem. water lake. I will never rent there again.

I lived here for about a year, hated every single second of it. I moved here simply because no other apartments in the area I checked out had any availability and was starting my new job in the city that week and the unit I took a tour of looked fine.HOWEVER, once i moved into my unit I noticed a HUGE cockroach problem. People were sent out by Oxford and they sprayed the area (These were always done when I wasnt home, people entered the apartment without my consent or knowledge, sprayed around my pets and belongings with no regard for their safety and was done about once every 3 months. The spraying was so ineffective I called a private exterminator who set up some really advanced traps but said that as long as the roaches occupied the other units in the apartment complex he could not keep them out. Long story short, every single unit is infested with bugs.Then, as if this wasnt bad enough. The A/C stopped working in the middle of the summer. I called the office probably 20 or so times and left 10-15 voicemails asking them to come fix it. Went into the office several times and was told someone was coming. After two weeks, I finally wrote an email to the corporate owners of Oxford (Run by out of state suits who have never seen the complex or walked in its roach infested corridors) and received a call from the property manger within 4-5 hours, OH thats all I had to do to get a response? interesting. She proceeded to yell at me, rudely say that I was being petty and went over her head FIRST off, I am your customer, treat me like one. I pay you 1000++ dollars a month in rent for the worst housing in the triangle area and you call my WORK phone to yell at me because you couldnt do your job in the first place? Unbelievable.Needless to say, the moment my lease was up, I left. I gave them 45 days written notice, as per their request so they could start looking for the next sucker in their game.HERE COMES THE KICKER. It has been 8 months since I moved out of Oxford and my life is much better, I live in a cheaper complex with no bugs and no crime in a better more vibrant part of Raleigh. I received a letter saying that Oxford has sent a debt claim of 3 THOUSAND DOLLARS to collections. FANTASTIC, No phone calls, no emails, straight to collections and a permanent reminder on my credit of my TERRIBLE idea to live here. Great, now every time I go to apply for financing for a car/house anything I want out of my life I will have to be reminded of the horrible experience that was living here and paying these CRIMINALS.Stay far, far away. READ THE REVIEWS for this place on every website, none of them are inaccurate or exaggerated.
