I was visiting from out of state and desperately needed a hair cut after being in quarantine.. Ryan was a superstar and got me looking sharp. His attention to detail and communication skills are well worth the trip here from wherever you are in Vermont! The location is taking great precautions with the pandemic in effect, but nonetheless is a very comfortable and calm atmosphere to relax at. Thanks again Ryan!

For 30$ Id expect better service and attention to detail. Ive gotten better cuts at barber shops and the staff are more friendly. The woman cutting my hair was unfriendly and I felt rushed. I also asked for a fade on the sides and asked for her advice but she didnt listen to my instructions and didnt seem to care, so I just wanted to leave.

The stylists here get the cut right every time. Ive been going here with my teenage son for more than a year. I tried other area mens haircut salons, but The Mens Room provides consistent quality, and the stylists are amazing! Also, great location right in downtown walk distance to Church Street or the lake. Highly recommended!!

This place has the right vibe for me. The interior has an urban art gallery feel without being pretentious or elitist. Most importantly, Ive gotten a great cut every time. The staff are all competent and highly skilled, but also pretty damn cool. Plus, theyve been really great about scheduling appointments and following-up on busy days if and when a slot opens up. I recommend them to my friends regularly.

Matt is amazing! He always gives my exactly what I want and styles it perfectly. I also love the fresh art in the salon every time I come in. Friendly staff and great hair are a given at the men’s room.

Got in and out within 25 minutes and had a wonderful conversation with one of the employees there. Going back here is always so relaxing and everyone is so nice! (Also student discount is a huge plus!)

Probably the best and most professional haircut Ive ever had. The place itself has an awesome atmosphere too since its also an art gallery.

Even showing a photo of what I wanted, and telling him that I didnt want the cut to be too short, I ended up having barely any hair on my head and not even close to how I wanted it. Worst haircut of my life. Other than that the dude was nice and getting my hair washed was good too.

Disastrous experience. I went in at 2 pm and asked if they accept walk ins. They said yes. I made appt for 3pm for beard trim and hair cut. When I showed up the female barber was flustered saying that she couldn’t do a shampoo or a beard trim because of her next appointment. I asked her if she was stressed and she exclaimed yes. Afger she spent 2 minutes trimming my beard line with no razor. She checked me out. I told her I wanted to leave because she was not relaxing nor was the experience. I thought an expensive men’s salon would be a nice treat but I was wrong. Just because they charge a lot of money does not mean they have great barbers or management.

Ive changed 5 shops in the Burlington area since I moved here for FL until I bumped into this place. For a Mans style, go see Ryan. Great guy does an excellent job to your specification. Great atmosphere and competitive prices!!
