Would like to thank Nicole and her wedding staff at the Pearl Street Grille and Brewery for doing an amazing job for my daughters wedding on Saturday September 4th 2021! We could not have asked for a better night. The room was set up perfectly, the food and drinks were amazing. The staff was polite. You never felt rushed or pushed along. Everything was packed and ready to go for us. Thank you for giving my daughter and son in law a night to remember!

My husband and I were visiting Buffalo, and in a Google search prior to our visit we came across Pear Street as a must-do restaurant in downtown. Pearl Street was only a few blocks walk from our hotel, and its also close to the Toronto Blue Jays stadium that was built. We made a reservation ahead of time just to be sure wed have a table. We visited on a Thursday evening, and it did not appear to be crowded enough to cause more than a 10 minute wait around the 6pm hour. We were served fairly quickly, and there did not appear to be a longer wait even when we left. However, I always recommend making a reservation when available on apps or through Google. We were seated right away by a friendly hostess, and our waiter arrived timely. We had looked at the menu ahead of time, so we had an idea of our order fairly quickly. Unfortunately, my husband and I arent big on craft beer, but he did try the Blue-Eyed Blueberry Blonde and he really like it. We ordered the Giant Pretzel, 9 Wings with Golden BBQ and Beer Cheese Soup to share. Everything tasted very good, we were happy to have some leftovers that heated up well the next evening. The pretzel is big enough to comfortable feed 3-4 people. I especially like the honey mustard dipping sauce. We decided on a pizza for dinner. We ordered our usual sausage and mushroom on the 12 crust and it was another great dish that we were able to save for leftovers as well. The star of the pizza was definitely the crust. The pretzel and the pizza heat up well, so save leftovers! We obviously ordered a lot of food, but being from out of town, we wanted to try a bit of everything.Overall, this was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend this restaurant if visiting Buffalo, or a local. The only thing that would have made this visit better was being seated in a booth, not a table. But thats being quite specific (and picky).

Really cool restaurant and pub in a big old brick midcentury building downtown. Loved the atmosphere and got a flight of delicious beers. The menu is not exactly gonna set the world on fire; its pretty basic. Tried the fish tacos which were decent. My wife had the burger; also good. We enjoyed the old Buffalo pictures and maps. Loved the Trainwreck Amber ale and will definitely stop back again for more.

This was my worst experience in a brewery EVER. The building is absolutely amazing but the staff, food, and beer was trash. My $13 1 layer nachos was ice cold and made with the worst toppings ever. Look at all the leftover homemade chips that are left with no toppings. I tour breweries all over the country and this will be fun to write about in our blog.

My husband and I came in to have a drink at the bar. We have about an hour or so until the wedding reception. Shawn, the bar tender is amazing. Super friendly, attentive and kind. If you ever go to Pearl Street be sure to ask for him. My husband had the Suntory and whiskey, I had the Kentucky Tea (amazing), a large pretzel and a flight of beers.

Beautiful multi-level restaurant/pub, brewery, and mixed use space for special events with multi-tiered seasonal balcony and partner underground deli. Building is historic in nature with natural woodwork and brick throughout. A staple establishment in downtown Buffalo within close walking distance to Buffalo waterfront/canalside, Harbor Center, hockey arena, baseball stadium, downtown business & theater districts, etc. Hearty pub fare, beer selections, and libations. Ive attended everything from happy hours to corporate holiday parties, to small birthday gatherings, business luncheons, and workshops here.

My friend And I checked out this place on Monday, I really loved the brewery inside, it is a nice set up, beer it’s really good and customer service is great. Bartender was super nice, beer very tasty, not a big selection for sure but some good variety of beer. Food was okay, pretzel came a little over baked and wings were okay, ales and blonde beers were amazing. I’ll have to come back to check out the rest of the beer menu and maybe other menu selections. Definitely a cool place to check out if you’re visiting Buffalo.

Good atmosphere and surprisingly good beer! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed for a little bit after eating and felt no pressure to immediate vacate my seat for the next group. Food (including their wings) were delicious! Great place to take a date or go with the family. I got the burger and really enjoyed the flavor as well as the speedy service. Split a small order of wings to have as an appetizer and made the right choice to do so. Tasted fresh and wonderful but I wanted to have more than just wings. Not the cheapest place to go to, but worth the price.

Had dinner here before our evening sail as part of the dinner/sale package for Spirit of Buffalo. We ordered the wings and they were perfectly done and even better were of the smaller variety which meant less filling. That was perfect for the beer braised pot roast which was large and delicious. The gravy and mashed potatoes made a great and filling meal. Have heard the kudos for their pot roast and trust me it is warranted. Also got a nice salad and wine. Our waiter was awesome (NATE) and attentive and personable. What a great time before the sail. The only problem was we were unable to have drink on outside patio as the heat and humidity was pretty tough-but we had a drink at the bar before dinner. I have just one plea- I am not a brew house type of guy so could you at least stock a few Gennys in a fridge somewhere?

Cool, antique interior. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Music was a bit louder than Id like.I tried the Fish Fry which is fish and chips. I was blown away. The crust was light and had a great flavor. It was not greasy at all. The fish itself was delicious (cod). It was a single large fillet, a very generous portion. My wife and I also ordered the giant pretzel. Also very good. It was large enough for 3-4 to share. I especially like the horseradish sauce, one of the three that came with it.We went on a Friday night at 8:30 and had a 15 minute wait (just the two of us). I would recommend making a reservation. Im not complaining about a 15 minute wait, its just that there doesnt seem to be a good place to wait in the restaurant.

We were super hungry by the time they arrived and just ate them with no complaints. The restaurant was busy, and our waiter was training someone. Not a good justification for cold over done food. While visiting Buffalo for the first time in June, I came here with my son at the suggestion of a friend from Buffalo. It fell way short of expectations especially based off the reviews on google. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.Service on the rooftop bar was HORRIBLE. Waitress would barely ever check in on us for drink status, and hard to flag when passing by. Like they had forgotten that the more the customers spend the more the waitstaff make. And the place was 30% capacity. Food was meh, and not cooked as asked. Wings were not what I’d expect in Buffalo. I’ve had way better other places.Love to give it another chance for the great location and cool ambiance. We’ll see maybe next time. Maybe the southern hospitality and quality food of Charleston sc has spoiled me.

This was a gem to find in my travels through the area. I was thankful I ate early as it seems it gets VERY busy when there is a hockey match in town.Service was polite and quick. The buffalo chicken dip was well seasoned and a nice crust on the top. Great flavor, not to spicy but also not bland! A true winner. My only sadness was the chips. They were simple bagged chips, which didn’t complement the dip. Home made tortillas or pita bread would have been much better to accompany the dip and elevate the over all appetizer. The vegetarian pasta (I added shrimp) was beautifully prepared. The vegetable noodles were done but still with a crunch and great texture. The dish was seasoned amazing. The added shrimp were cleaned and cooked to perfectionsThe berry cheese cake dessert was divine. Using Biscotti as crust was brilliant. Though I was told the whipped cream was freshly made, the texture and bland flavor reminded me too much of a can from the store to believe that. My only complaint here aside from the cream was the berry drizzle was too much. It was great but whoever dressed the plate was too heavy handed with it and the overly sweet syrup pulled off the balance of what was an over all good ending to a great meal.

So there is a pandemic and restaurants are opening and making money now. One would think that a restaurant would go out of their way with service and quality of food. The Pearl Street grill failed miserably yesterday at lunch. Our waitress/ manager never even came by to inform us she was too busy to greet us and explain. We watched 6 employees at the desk looking at us for 10 minutes ( making eye contact & ignoring it) before a very nice young man stopped by. I had the poboy sandwich and a very cold bowl of beer cheese soup. The sandwich was a dry wheat wonder bread roll, no sauce, lettuce & 2 tomato slices. Husband had a fish fry & a side salad. We each had an Arnold Palmer. This cost us $70.00... for lunch... It wasnt even that busy at 2:30pm... Shameful and we will NOT be back. So, I made an online reservation 2 weeks prior to a Friday night happy hour at Pearl Street, to be in proximity to Blue Jays playing Houston in Buffalo that night; SPECIFICALLY asking for outside seating... When you think of Pearl St, you think of outside patio, fun weddings, good experiences etc. Hats off to the 2012-16 days… which is far away now. Had mediocre 4-5 experiences in a row and got negative response to a 3/5 post on Yelp; but last time takes the cake. Was told on this Friday night that no outside seating is available; yet I go outside and see loads of ppl eating. What exactly does a person need to do to actually get a seat outside, if you make a reservation that far in advance? If you want a cool outside spot, go to Tappo, Union Pub, Templeton Landing; anywhere else.

This place is not TERRIBLE. But I mean, what a lemon. The place itself is beautiful and quite expansive. We opted to sit in the patio and the long way there has very good signage which was helpful. There were about 3-4 tables seated when we got there at about noon on a Monday. About 6-7 when we left. Plenty of free tables, and we asked to be seated at a shaded one which the hostess didnt know what to do with until we just pointed at one.We ordered a couple of beers, Pils and the unfiltered wheat. Both were pretty decent but nothing special, especially considering that Buffalo has some amazing breweries. We shared the roast beef wrap which was really fresh, tasty, and evenly distributed. The potato wedges it came with were good at first but after about 10 minutes tasted a bit dry which makes me believe they were reheated. The service was exceptionally slow. Not infuriating, but quite slow for a not busy Monday lunch time at the end of the summer. We got the food before the beers, which was strange. Then we asked for a couple more condiments, which didnt arrive until we finished all the food and the beer, well into the meal. The amazing thing is, the place and patio looks so inviting until you actually sit there. Take a look at the photo, the highway is literally eye level with you in the front, and you have the back of a hotel in your back. There was an alarm blaring from one of the nearby buildings right before we ordered for a few minutes which made us almost get up and leave. Looks like the surroundings kinda got built around this place.Overall, would not come back here considering there are so many other places with nicer views, better service and beers. Its probably an establishment abs it IS a nice looking place, it just didnt provide a nice experience on what was otherwise a not busy day.

The vegetarian options are somewhat limited but thats pretty much the case for most restaurants. The Impossible Sausage that found its way onto the current menu is *chefs kiss*
