Theres nothing bad I can say about 296. Everything is IMMACULATELY cleaned, and all of the nail technicians are efficient and polite. I walk out with shiny nails that last. The only thing I will say is that you have to be on time, because the company has put thought into how much time to allocate to each service, but if you are late they do their best to accommodate.Emily, the assistant studio director, is professional and ALWAYS remembers my name.ALSO, the products they have WORK. The RevitaLash has made my lashes grow thicker and longer and the HUM vitamins are tasty and help my nails and hair grow healthier.LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

The technicians were lovely. Professional, attentive and kind. I got my brows plus mani&pedi. I give it two stars because I loved the results when I left the place but hated it when I got home. My GEL manicure had chipped!! And I had red bumps all around my eyebrows where I was waxed.I’ve paid much less for much better quality. Miniluxe in Fenway had better products. I blame the products.

Stellar nail salon. All of the stars. In 2015 I came here with my friend despite having just gotten out of the hospital for what five days of unduly elaborate tests proved to be a glorified case of strep throat. Why get a pedicure having just gotten out of the hospital you ask? Well 1) I was no longer contagious, and 2) my friend refused to move her birthday (Julienne I hope you read this). Anyway. While in the hospital I wound up getting a spinal tap (0/5 stars), and it turns out that I’m one of the lucky 20% of people who get crazy nauseated in the week after that experience unless you’re completely horizontal. So they gave me a pedicure. While I was completely horizontal. Literally lying in my friend’s lap. It was a fun bonding experience. I also threw up in the middle of the pedicure and they were super kind and didn’t escort me out off the premises or anything. Much more understanding than the bar that kicked me out that night for assuming I was too intoxicated to sit up straight. No stars for those guys.

Please reconsider having your nails done here ladies and don’t bring your families. My sister, a good person; a hard working and honest person; a LOYAL CUSTOMER for SIX YEARS had her wedding rings stolen from their OWN EMPLOYEE and they did nothing. They didn’t apologize, would not release the security footage (which clearly shows the employee taking them!) for weeks, and dismissed my sister on the several occasions she came in to try to and find the rings. SHE DUG IN THEIR GARBAGE CANS! They knew the employee that did it and decided to keep her hidden instead. Please share this and please don’t support this terrible company.

Went here with 7 other girls before our company’s annual holiday party for mani pedis and had a great time! Given the number of people, I made the reservation a couple of days in advance. The staff did an incredible job getting us all through quickly, and the pedi in particular was so relaxing. I love this place and will keep coming back!

My daughter has been coming here for years and has brought me a few times and we always have the best experience. Came this past week before her birthday... Nice, clean, with a great staff... the only complaint I have is about the clients who go there with high-and-mighty attitudes and are probably the ones leaving the bad reviews... so rude to the great staff. Their negative attitudes ruin the calm atmosphere....My daughter and i always have the best service and even my tough nails end up looking great (i feel bad for the poor girl who got stuck with me!).... should probably start going to the one in Wellesley but I love coming to this one with my daughter so much...

Always does a fabulous job!! I havent had a bad set of nails yet! They always make sure my nail art is perfect and the nails last for about 3-4 weeks.

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to- and I have been to many. I will be coming to MiniLuxe until I move out of the Boston area. First of all, the prices are great for the quality and the location. Second, they use hospital grade sterilization procedures to clean all their tools, and everything is so sanitary. Lastly, the nail technicians do a fantastic job, and there is even a 3 day chip policy where you can go get your nail fixed for free if it chips within 3 days! I absolutely love this place, I wish I could go every week :-)

First time ever getting a Brazilian wax, the girl was nice and was talking to me the whole time i didnt even feel uncomfortable. The girl at the front desk was really nice also but when i went for the second time i was told that i called and canceled my appointment which was a lie and i had to book for another week because they had no more openings ! i just left and never went back .

Quick, well-done brow wax. I cant remember the estheticians name, but she did a great job complete with a little powder application. The best part of the service was the price - $20!

Ive been to this location for many years but I had a very disappointing pedicure experience recently. Even after scheduling an appointment 2 days in advance, I had to wait 15 minutes for my technician which is ironic since the last time I went there, we were 5 minutes late and called to tell the front desk person who yelled at us and said we better get there soon or they could not guarantee services. When I finally got the pedicure, she only put one coat of color on and no top coat and its already chipped. $40 well spent...

Really my best manicure(gel)/pedicure ever! Everything was super clean and Diana so perfect with everything! A bit pricey, but worth it :)

Outstanding! I went for the first time based on recommendations. I had originally booked a wax and Diaa suggested threading which I hadnt ever tried before. Diaa was wonderful and walked me through it step by step. The experience was wonderful and the results were beautiful.I then had a gel manicure with Arlene which continued my exceptional experience. I will definitely come back!

One of the perks of getting married the day after I turn 40 is discovering the wedding mark up of vendors. MiniLuxe so far has been the worst offender. After an agreed upon price and structure - I called to give my credit card information and they tried to upsell me almost double the agreed upon price. When I asked to have this my 40th birthday instead of wedding - the balked and said that the services of the signature manicure were different for weddings than a regular signature manicure.By way of follow-up, youll see in the stores reply that they encouraged me to email them. I did so immediately after and now Im going on 2 weeks awaiting a response. Horrible ... Horrible service.

Four friends and I made appointments to manis and pedis. We were able to get our nails done all at the same time and we all had a really nice time. All the employees were professional and friendly from check-in to check-out. Reasonable prices for great service.

I am writing to review what was possibly one of - if not THE worst Brazilian wax experience ever.-The wax she used was still there, sticky, resin like remnants from when she finished. This is in contrast to the previous tech who at LEAST used a cleaning solution containing an exfoliant and residue removal.-For the money I paid, I had patches that were *NOT* touched.-My hand came away with blood from where an OPEN SORE had formed where she had gone over the taut skin where the thigh and pelvis meet. No wonder my tech was in such a hurry to get outta there!I also wrote a review on Yelp that was buried by the business in question.

Manicure was neat and the environment was very clean. For what it is, I felt my $60 deluxe massage gel mani was overpriced and a bit impersonal. Chairs were uncomfortable and my tech was not very friendly.

Great service. Pedicure took a little too long but lasted for ever

Clean, stylish nail salon with professional, friendly technicians. Been coming here for 5+ years as my go-to special occasion nail salon. Before every vacation I get a gel mani and regular pedi. They both last over a month. Admittedly, the gel mani looks ridiculous (kind of an ombré look) after 5 weeks of growth, but Ive been amazed by how well they keep up. No chips for 5 weeks. I knock them off a star for two reasons, their cost and the fact that every other time I come, the tech ends up making me bleed. Once, it was a bad cut when she used the nail buffer. The sharp edge sliced my finger on the edge of the nail. And most recently, a different tech snipped skin around my toe and two fingernails when trimming the skin around my nails. Making me bleed in 3 different spots. I go to many salons, but this is the only one where this issue keeps repeating. I continue to come here for the cleanliness, atmosphere, and outstanding quality. Just wish they werent so expensive. Spending over $100 for gel mani and regular pedi (including tip) is getting old.

The pedicurist took a shortcut during the pedicure and gave me fungus on my big toenails

I had a mainicure and pedicure at the MineLuxe in West Roxbury. While I applaud the technician (Emily), and the cleanliness of the salon, I was disappointed in the pedicure. Im used to having pedicures where you are seated in a comfortable chair, and your feet are placed in a soothing whirlpool. At MIniLuxe, you sit on a bench and basically place your feet in a sink. Although the pedicure was vey good, I would like to be pampered more. I could see if the price of the pedicure was slightly less than other places, but for the same price I would like to be pampered more.
