This was a great manicure! I called in the morning for an appointment on my lunch break, and they could take me. I got there, the staff was friendly, polite, and following safety guidelines. I got a gel manicure and the nail tech was friendly and so attentive to detail. My manicure looks great.I took off one star because one nail has a tiny bubble I noticed the next day. It’s the best nail salon in Beacon Hill BY FAR!
Customer Service Excellent! Clean Shop! Very Sweet staff but the girl that did my full set was not listening to me when I was showing her, her mistakes. I got more acrylic on my fingers than I did on the nail alone. Each nail is a different shape and size. Heading home to fix them myself. Not okay for me to spend money then have to fix them myself.
The worst nail job I have ever gotten. Uneven, badly painted and I wont even talk about how bad the acrylic job is. I wish I never went in to get them done.
I love this place! this is my go to nail salon and i’m there every week faithfully! they have a rewards program also which is a plus for regulars like myself. Lin is my girl! She never disappoints!
Great shellac manicure! Walked right in (it you can schedule online) and was helped immediately. It lasted 2 weeks without chipping and was a lovely manicure. I was listening to an audiobook so I didn’t really interact with the staff, but everyone seemed pleasant. ATM available (and super visible) and the prices were great considering it’s Beacon Hill!
Did not have the best experience. Left my cuticles horrible and alsooooo I have a ingrown toe nail because of them
Got my wedding nails done there today! Vicky did amazing, she took the time and really made my nails look beautiful. Its a small place, we called and made an appointment and had no issues getting in. Super pleased with the prices and quality, would definitely recommend!
Always a lovely experience. I get regular acrylics and they always turn out beautiful no matter who has done them. 100% recommend going here. Also they don’t pressure you to get gel which I know a lot of other nail salons do bc the price is higher. Overall relaxed vibe which is needed in the city.
They are so fabulous here, and it’s the only place I’ve gone that they were able to get out an ingrown toenail without any pain. Extremely nice and accommodating too!
A large group of our family went st the same time. The staff was terrific. They took care of everyone from children to grandparents quickly and professionally.
With so many choices, this is my top! Great, modern, clean spa. Skillful and friendly staff. Great selection of colors. Good value for the money.
Really nice employees, however I would highly recommend they take more training on full sets. Shape is all off and nails are crooked. I tried to tell the employee doing them, but she kept getting frustrated with me. Now Im stuck with not great nails for $70.... Bummer.
I️ had pleasant service at a decent price. I️ walked in but did not have to wait. I️ chose the Vinylux manicure; it supposed to be chip free for a week, this is not so. I️ barely got a day before the first chop showed up. Five days later the polish had worn off all the edges of my nails.
Overall the nails were pretty nice but only lasted for a day . the workers kept talking, the person who was helping me helped me half way and then went to help other customers, I waited 3 hours to finish my acrylics
The people who did your nails really trying to rip you off by suggesting unnecessary gel nails to you. Their design taste is horrible. I would never come back again and strongly not recommend to anyone even though this place is couple dollars cheaper than its competitors.
Nail job was very good. The place need a little TLC though
Super friendly ladies that do quality work at reasonable prices. Love this place!
My local go-to. The people here are always so nice, careful to listen to any special circumstances, and they do a nice job.
Not good at all😕
I cant say enough good things about the wonderful ladies at Pinckey Nails. They are always pleasant and truly care about their clients. I have some particular needs, and they are extremely accommodating. As an ultramarathoner, my feet take a beating. Going in every two weeks ensures that Im not held back by tough callouses or ingrown nails. Im pretty sure their good care is why I even have ten toenails, and none are black! As a weird side note, I also appreciate that this is the first salon where not one nail tech has made me answer nosey questions about my ethnic background and family history while Im trying to relax. They are professionals. If you have toenail issues, Hannah and Lin are extremely skilled. Sarah runs the place, and she does lovely gels.
Dont be fooled by the special: $30 mani/pedi flyer on the door -- Pinckneys been offering the same deal for years. I was talked into some post-St. Paddys Day pampering by my friend Christina, and at that price, who can say no to a little star treatment? I loved taking my time picking the perfect color from their wide selection of polishes, playing with the kneading/rolling settings on the massage chair, and chatting it up while the cooling fans worked their magic on my newly stylin fingers.
I used to only go to Tekes (also on Charles Street) but recently tried Pinckney for the first time in years. During very first visit I wasnt that impressed, but after trying them again on a whim I must say their manis and pedis last a lot longer than Tekes do. I just wish they offered more new OPI colors, a lot of the bottles seem like theyve been there a long time.
Good experience :)
