Poor customer service. If you are young, they will treat you with little to no respect even though you probably make more salary than everyone there together. Lacking so much professionalism and respect. There’s better apartment complexes out there, believe it!

Lived here for 3 years!We liked the apartment could have given 5 stars but reduced to 2 stars because of the fees that we faced after vacating the apartment!Let me state the good factors first! The neighborhood is good, affordable price for 2bhk, near by trails are easy for evening walks, cycling, pond view was great!Even when our lease was over we stayed month-on-month basis for just $10 bucks extra per month. This convenience was great considering our condition!Maintenance team is also very responsive and they make sure the issue is resolved!Problem was;Their rental agreement says there will be carpet cleaning fees if you stay in the apartment for less than a year. Since we stayed for 3 years we thought there will not be any carpet cleaning fees. When we left we cleaned everything and left it as received to avoid any extra fees. But when we received the final calculation we saw that they have deducted $140 from the security deposit for the carpet cleaning fees!I called them to enquire and no one else can address the issue except Mr.Joe! So I have to call multiple times to get hold of him (I gave my number to call back whenever he is available, but never received a call so that is different story!).When I spoke with him he stated that, carpet had to be replaced thats why they have charged the CARPET PULLING FEES. As far as we know the carpet was in same condition even 3 years ago. They have to replace the carpets for new tenants but they made us to pay for it. He also said that he could have charged me more for NEW CARPETS.Its a great place to stay but before moving in take all the pictures and save them so that you will be having proof for final settlement.

Geese feces all over the apartment complex. Despite multiple complaints, they are very lazy to take action or to clean the geese droppings.

Parkway Apartments- Quality Apartments for a Fair Price, Responsive Maintenance Crew and Great Location (great neighborhood). This has been my favorite apartment complex by far. I’ve lived here for 2 years and still going strong!

If they know you have an animal or kids they will take advantage of you when you move out. The charges and fees they tack on are ridiculous

The management is not at all responsive for any complaints. They allowed pets and after that most of the owners dont clean after the pet. This has been complained so many times. but no use. They dont clean geese feces also. Pond inside the apartment is not maintained and full of garbage.

Maintenance guys are nice, responsive and willing to work with my schedule. Been with Apartment Mart for over 3 years and I don’t have any complaints.

This company didnt mention a credit requirement to me once in the 2 times I went to the office and even provided a $500 deposit. I live in Chicago and now have to wait to receive my money back because they are not willing to work with credit items. I reached out asking for assistance due to the violence in my neighborhood for my family. Their response and assistance has been lacking empathy and professionalism to say the least. I would never recommend using them. They just wanted my money that day and even after getting it, less than 24 hours later say they are not willing to work with me.

Honestly not terrible until you move out. They have a 30 day requirement they neglect to mention then forcibly charge you for if you dont give them written notice of vacancy even if your lease officially ends.

Do not handle themselves in a professional manner. They dismiss your maintenance requests and put off repairs for weeks or months. Water damage (from the AC) in the basement and when I moved out, they claimed there was dog urine in the entire house. Didnt have a pet. This is a horrible place to live and I lived here for 5 years because I couldnt find anything else. Thankfully I bought a house and got the hell out. *edit*Forgot to mention, they have a real mouse problem. First night in there, found a bedbug.

We stayed at 1514 Northbrook Dr for 10 months. We had a very pleasant experience. The location was excellent, the apartment complex was well maintained, and rent was affordable. We got a squeaky clean apartment when we moved in. All of our maintenance requests were resolved very swiftly during our stay.We made an effort to clean the apartment as much as possible before we moved out and to our surprise the entire security deposit was returned. Thats the first time it happened with us. We very much appreciate the fact that our cleaning effort was acknowledged. We have moved to CA and they couldnve refunded 0 dollars and we could do nothing. So a big thumbs up to the Apartment Mart team for such amazing professionalism.

I’m not sure why Apartment Mart doesn’t have better reviews because we lived with them for two years and they were nothing but great! The apartment was in great condition/spotless moving in (and trust me not everywhere will be the same even if they “promise” you that) any maintenance issue that came up over time, they were quick to get it fixed. Their team was always professional in and out of the office and they have a lot of great options available to rent in family friendly, safe, beautiful locations. My only complaint was they weren’t pet friendly at the time which I know some people would rent from them if they could have their fur babies too but I hear they allow pets now just with a weight limit for dogs.

On 22nd May, 2020 (Friday) someone opened the Main Door of my Apartment at Clearwater Av and came in. As soon as I noticed the person, he fled off. I informed the incident to Apartment Mart if there was any service person sent. Initially I was told that no one was sent and I reported a Breaking complaint with 911. However, later when i called the Apartment Mart Leasing Office to see if they are going to Change the Main Door Lock or install a Chain, I was informed that it was them who sent a Service Person mistakenly to my Apartment! Further was informed by Denney from Apartment Mart that security concerns will not be looked upon by them, rather it should be the responsibility of the Lessee!I believe all Lessee should be aware of this!

Would not recommend to anyone shopping for an apartment in Bloomington. Will nickel and dime you as soon as you move out. Very unprofessional

Recently rented an apartment, mention few simple requests no one has get back it’s been more than a week. Apartment mart has to hire qualified customer service representatives, every time I call I get very rude answers.Last month I stayed in my cousins apartment for a short time we had an issue with toilet they charged $55 as maintenance, this is insane. I just came to know last week that they charged we thought it’s part of maintenance. Waiting for my lease to end. Never suggest this place to anyone. I’ll share there disgusting service in my network.

I have been living with Apartment Mart for almost 6 months now and my experience has been nothing but positive. I was not only extremely pleased with my apartment when I moved in, but they have continued to go above and beyond with any maintenance issues that I have had (which has been very few). I had to relocate to Bloomington due to work and needed to find a place quickly, within a week they had me set up with a furnished apartment ready to move in. Called to get some info on pricing. Ashley answered the phone. She was super rude and not willing to help me get any further details or narrow the apartment options. She rudely directed me and told me to check our website and then get back to me when you know what you want. Terri was nice and explained that they had many properties to go through and she gave me the information on where to go.

Charged me more than $1200.00 after staying for more than 3 years. This is very frustrating. We paid more $300.00 to get the apartment clean and still apt mart charged for unnecessary things. They always installed inferior quality appliances and other items. Apt had floorings two times but no support at all. Anything you ask they will charge hefty amount.

Worst support and very unprofessional if we call them as they dont even respond and they are very rude.

I have lived at an Apartment Mart apartment with my partner for over a year and havent had any complaints. We were very selective about which apartment we wanted to live in, and the staff was totally relaxed and understanding when we said we basically wanted to look at everything they have- ha! You are able to check out keys for 24 hours and look at the apartments on your own time. In our time here we have had to put in one maintenance request and it was answered and fixed promptly. Teelah in the office is awesome!

Maintenance Request handling mechanism is not good. The tenant has to open a request and then a staffer will take that request to the maintenance dept. And there is no way you can track the request as there is no online tool provided to do so. Also, in winter days sometimes, we find the snow not cleaned for multiple days.

Extremely poor experience. Recently rented an apartment from Apartment Mart and found the Refrigerator trays are missing. Went to Apartment Mart lease office to place a service request. At my dismay, only i could expect was arrogance from the lady staff saying they will NOT send any missing trays!Also found rain water flowing in through the fireplace to the living room. Service person did arrive three days after the complaint was placed but nothing was done as the water still flooding the living room! huh!!Poor Attitude of leasing staff, Poor Service all for free!!

Apartments are good(wingover)but while living you won’t get anything return your deposit,you may get extra payment as well..If you’re very clean maintainence inside house also now a days people’s are leaving no one coming, May be due to that all maintenance amount is putting on tenents.I faced this experience and one of my friend also faced same problem, because of that I am sharing people who are going to take lease from apartment mart, don’t pay deposit amount more.

We stayed in Clearwater 1710. Very good appartment, reasonable rate and great service. Around $100 additional for water and electricity. No club house or gym but we did not need one as we were member at 4 seasons club nearby. Sometimes cleaning was a prob during snow but a call would lead to immediate action. Thank you for provide easy and wonderful stay.

I stay at Keisha Dr apartments for 2years and 10months, I had no problems they always were there when there was a problem. The landscape was kept up and clean. When I moved out I cleaned the apartment Im a previous maintenance person so was expecting to get all my deposit back. They charged me 75 dollars for them to pull the tile up in the kitchen which should had been normal wear and 55 dollars for a blind that was really there issue 55 dollars to replaced a screen that Im sure was not nothing wrong so check your screens and other things. they kept over half of my deposit.

One of the better Property Management companies. Used their services for 5 years. No complains.

I would not recommend this Property Management to anyone - from the first impression to the last has been absolutely unacceptable. Very unprofessional management and are overly sensitive and cannot take the truth of their negligence.

Very helpful staff and an overall enjoyable experience. I like the fact that they give you the keys for the apartments you want to look at which allows you to see them on your own schedule.

I am currently with Apartment Mart. Bikes go missing after their maintenance crew visits the building.I can be so sure, because i left my bike outside of my apartment in second floor within the building just one day for some cleaning. Thier maintenance crew was there on that day for cleaning the apartment opposite to ours and the next day the bike is gone. Similar situation to one of our neighbor as well.The support staff is not willing to help either and blankly says we need to file a complaint.

I lived in wingover apartments, they are horrible, lot of noise from neighboring apartments. Mold is uncontrollable even with constant treatments and dehydration.The office staff is nice but you should not rely on what they say as they can change their word any time to say that it is not on the terms and conditions. The property manager and the maintainance request manager are arrogant and rude, charge the tenants for even small maintain requests. The move out charges are too high, they charge too much for everything and they dont even give the details about what they charged for.I would say please avoid renting from apartment-mart.

I come on the weekends to visit my boyfriend at the Wingover Apartments and I dont know how he stands it over at this complex. He has put in numerous complaints to Apartment Mart (over the phone, emails, and in person when dropping off rent check) about the noise from other apartments, and the kids running around unsupervised and almost getting ran over. Parking is horrible and we have people living across the street that owns a house but parks at the complex and uses the trash. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. He has been told that they would send out notices but nothing has been done. For how much he pays a month at this complex, Apartment Mart should be bending over backwards trying to make this area livable but as long as they get their money they wont do anything about it. We have gone to the neighbors with the loud noise and have asked numerous times to keep it down and have threatened to call the police. They dont understand what that means apparently. Most of the people living here have 10-20 people living in the same apartment which is against health department codes. Really trying to talk him into moving into a better complex.

These people provide defective washers which can flood your home and you cant rely on their maintenance work. Staff is rude.

Lived here for 6 months. Never had a problem. Rent includes free internet that is 200mbs down. Utilities were also cheap. 1 bdrm was around $30 for water and $50 for electric. Would have moved into the 2 bdrm but they had not been remodeled like the one bdrms at Wingover.

I stay in wingover, apartment mart maintainence is horrible. General maintainence we can adjust but when it is snowed and freezing rain, I dont see management cleaning the snow despite of lot of complaints. If you want to come out of apartment during winter, if there is sleet you donot have option other than to broke your body parts. One more point if you have kids and getting admission is good school is mostly not possible.

Well first off, we looked at the apartments behind meijer and walmart in normal. Love them. Once we were about to do the application, we told the management about my credit score on how is wasnt so great but my boyfriends was really good. They said all tenants have to have good credit. Well the boy friend called them told them everything on how he travels for work and he needs a 6th month lease, all the good stuff. Once he started talking about me. They pretty much said we cant help you and hung up. Seriously. Like that apartment was that good anyway. We got into a great place that expects good credit and 3 times of what you make in a month for rent. Total we make 3000 a month. This place lost good tenants all because of a credit score. Credit cards have nothing to do with renting an apartment and they will also learn that I will be telling EVERYONE not to rent from them because they didnt want to rent from us, especially when we wasted a month looking at this place and they didnt even tell us anything on you need good credit and all that. No one rent from thenm, just cause they have good places for cheap, doesnt mean they will help you .

These apartments used to be nice until the hindu temple was constructed next door. They claim these are luxury apartment but in reality they have used cheap materials to construct these apartment buildings. They are horrible in terms of sound proofing any noise or other disturbance from neighbors. Neighboring snores can be heard loud and clear. The kids running upstairs sounds like very loud bass being reverberated in the entire apartment . The Tullamore community is next to some Hindu temple and you have individuals speeding with no regard to safety of the inhabitants of this community. I would be very cautious to rent from Apartment Mart again!

Great price for our 2bdr/2bthrm! Water covered. Been here for over a year and have had zero problems. When weve had any maintenance issues, theyve been quick to reply and respond.

Was denied due to a medical bill from 2006 (10 years ago) after I was specifically told that medical bills and student loans are overlooked. Spoke with manager and he was absolutely rude and could not explain why they lied. Glad i was denied. Rather see this now than later.

Students and future state farmers,DO NOT rent with this property management! Whatever security deposit you put down and expected to get back,forget it.These guys will come up with any excuse or find some type of damage to blame the tenants for just to get out of paying any of the security deposit back.Go to young america.
