Grandkids just moved here. Beautiful nature all around. Good vibes
I drive 3 hrs to tour apartments and they weren’t there for my appointment. Nobody was in the office. Nobody answered the calls. Its been over 24 hrs and nobody returned my call. I should have trusted the reviews this time!
When can I see the apartment staff?I went to the office for four days, but I didnt see the staff. And I saw the apartment residents get angry when they wait with me.But this doesnt matter. Theres no parking fee in this apartment. But theres no parking space. Most families have more than two cars. And in the visitors parking lot, cars that are broken and not in use continue to be parked. Even the new person has three cars. Many apartments are empty. But theres no parking space. No visitors, no parking lot. Because the residents of the apartment use it. If you dont have a car, move. But people with two cars dont recommend this place. You will always have to worry about your car. And this apartment is on the side of the road. You cant park anywhere. If you dont mind if your car is damaged and the paint is peeled off, come here, park in a different neighborhood, and exercise, then walk over. to the apartment
Hot, and grass looks dead.
Dont expect the office to answer the phone. They put a tow sticker on my window the Monday before Christmas saying it was going to get towed on Christmas if I dont move or contact them before that date. I had scheduled pick-n-pull to come get it the following Monday and wanted them to hold off for 3 days. So I tried calling them everyday leading up to Christmas to tell them but never answered. Now Im out money and a car, which was damaged by one of there half dead trees that they neglected to cut down earlier.
Cute units, plenty of storage room, and lots of guest parking spaces. Only downside is im short and the bathroom sink is set a bit high.
Moved in at the beginning of March and had 4 different managers. There are a few shady characters, likely heroin but not certain. People and delivery drivers drive way too fast in the parking lot and you hear sirens every 10 minutes due to location. But the space inside is huge. Large bedrooms and a nice fireplace. Very very cold in the winter/not well insulated. The garages are full of moist mold that they charge $85 for. Really should only be charging about $60 for. Small kitchens, but overall it feels homey.
This unit has not been in proper and or rentable1) the drywall in the laundry area has been exposed to moisture and mildew and has since grown harmful mold. 2-13-2020 was when it was removed by the property’s head maintenance man.2) there are 2 areas in the residence that have exposed carpet tack strips with extremely sharp dangerous spikes. These spikes have caused injury on 2 occasions. This is after requesting from Dalton an employee of Afinity property management directly to have this fixed ASAP.3)There are exposed wires in the bathroom just inches from a water source. This posed an extreme danger to the current residence. These do not appear to be even a legitimate electrical application.4) The front door only contains a dead bolt lock, no locking handle so security is a real concern as well.5) all paperwork was not properly handled by property management company, there for all integrity is compromised and should not carry any weight in judgments or costs to the tenets.6) This complex boasts a pool as part of its amenities, which is reflected in the value of the units. The pool has not been operable or maintained and has not been available for use. This should lead to a reduction in unit values. Or should not have been advertised at all.
I moved in around the beginning of 2020 and at that time I was given 2 incorrect mail keys to two different mail boxes. I continued to follow up with the office on a biweekly basis and over and over and over they told me they were working on it, give them another few weeks, etc. etc... I did not have a mailbox for 6 months. Ultimately I just had my mail forwarded to a friend and dealt with it. Very annoying but whatever. I just got tired of calling and emailing the office and only getting a response 10% of the time so I let it go.HOWEVER: As of a week ago this community has changed management companies. Right off the bat their communication was great and they left notices with contact info, what to expect, how to handle rent, etc.. Karen is the office mgr and Allen is the maintenance mgr. I had to call the office yesterday to schedule a maintenance walkthrough and at the end of the call I mentioned the mailbox fiasco and asked if I could get some help. Karen had it solved before 11am the next morning, and theyre going to bring my keys and mail to me when we do the maintenance walkthrough.Looking forward to living here with this new management company in place. Night and day difference. Thanks!
Visited these apts yesterday. Very spacious, well maintained, huge yard for kids to play, reasonable prices. Parking for visitors limited.
Ive lived here for over five years. Im disabled and I was able to get a wheelchair-accessible apartment with a handicapped parking spot right in front. Unlike the previous reviewer, I have never had a problem with maintenance. They have always fixed things right away. The tenants here are a very diverse group, and you can meet people here from all over the world. There are children here who play in the parking lot and I admit that I do find them annoying occasionally, but on the other hand, I like living in a place where there is a range of ages. And I find the children friendly and, for the most part, polite. The location is convenient, being very close to US 26 and on two bus lines (62 and 59), as well as walking distance to a good Chinese restaurant and a Plaid Pantry convenience store.Update: As of April 2018, I no longer live there. They gave me a no fault eviction with 2 months notice. Basically, with Nike expanding, they knew they could raise the rent, but only if they could get people to leave so they could renovate.
Have you ever heard of an Apartment complex charging for water and garbage on top of their ridiculous rent prices. Units are old. The garages are falling apart and covered in spider webs. The lighting in the area is horrible.
I really love the staff! They are friendly always have smiles on their faces and always working hard to get our work orders taken care of! I’m so excited for the community upgrades that are happening and happy to call this home!
Im a contractor that works at this place from time to time and they are updating the place and making it really really nice!
Our car was broken into. We found out that one of our neighbors cars were broken into in January. This time it was our car and our downstairs neighbors car.
Grounds look nice with a creek running through it. But the inside of the apartment leaves to be desired. Appliances are old. Range didnt work. Refrigerator leaks. Water heater in the bedroom closet. Bathtub leaks. Not bad living if you dont mind having to keep putting in work orders.
>>>>>SMOKING everywhere, and if you ask them to do something about it, a dinky little note gets put up and thats it. >>>>>NO PARKING REGULATIONS; & if someone parks in your spot your SOL. >>>>>DOG POOP in spots that are neglected, >>>>>TRASH scattered, >>>>>ONGOING CONSTRUCTION.>>>>> Notices that are inaccurate with dates and/or descriptions; about 3 a week informing of some sort of inconvenience. Yet, you wont get ANY notice about having very loud & disruptive construction outside your door for months on end. The notices are only to cover their end, not to actually be helpful to residents. >>>>>Hours of operation are BS. It seems a good amount of the time no one is scheduled. >>>>>Laundry room is neglected, machines eat your money & break. To sum it up: They do not keep their promises. They only want your money, There is no compassion, and no reason stay or live here.
Apartments converted to condos purchased by conglomerate and muscled some owners of many years out of their homes. Now only a few owners remain.
I live here now. I hate this place. If you are looking for a sign to move in or not, take my advice and don’t.
Ive lived here for 3 years. We are supposed to recive our lease at the beginning of October and its Halloween and they said they are working on it. Maintenance is slow as a snail in salt water and since the new ownership took over we havent had a steady manager in two years. I highly recommend looking somewhere else. Oh they say they are remodling the place. In two years they renovated the office and two or three units. All this means is they are kicking people out to up the rent and slapping lipstick on a pig.
Welcome to Trash on Murray. Where the trailer park comes to you. Onsite management wont do anything about it. The main office wont do anything about it either. And if you have a dog, dont worry about what they say for breed restrictions or having to leash your dog or even bother to pick up your pet waste. Management wont do anything about that either. But watch where you step... dont walk through the grass and keep your kids inside so they dont track dog feces into your home. This place is a joke! Horrible management staff. No maintenance staff to speak of. The property is run down and covered with garbage. Oh and the review by H Gonzales is a huge lie!!! She works for Affinity Property Management and is a gigantic part of the problem with what happens on this property. Shame on you Herlinda and Affinity Property Management for putting up reviews on their own property. That should tell you something about this place.
The new owners have put a lot into fixing up the property.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.Doing another review after a little under 6 months of living in West of Murray. THE HONEYMOON IS OVER. I tried to make allowance for all the not so nice things about the apartment complex simply because of how nice and accommodating the people of the rental office but not since Sandra left how i experience the most horrific customer service experience in all my life.My rent was due on Feb 1. All my rent are paid for on time and utilities. until this month due to my work schedule I swing by office today Feb 8, My rent is due only 7 days and they charge me a total of $125 for unpaid charges for both utilities and rent. and worst I receive a very disrespectful and totally inconsiderate email TELLING ME TO VACATE MY APARTMENT IF NOT PAID BY FEB 9, A 72 HOURS NOTICE TO VACATE FOR 8 DAYS LATE PAYMENT AND ALL MY PREVIOUS MONTH FULLY PAID. EVEN PGE and credit card MAKE allowance for there customer.Considering the kind of customer service they give to people. It is not worth the time and effort staying here anymore. I dont expect people to bend rules but people especially should be respectful, tactful and considerate, especially on this kind of business The management really I can safely says has NO HEART and extremely horrible in this regard. You will be better off staying somewhere else, look away from the niceties amenities, pay a little extra if you must or bear the bare necessity of an old apartment so long as you are being treated right and mindful of your situation and you WONT THREATENED FOR EVICTION FOR 8 DAYS OF UNPAID BILL. MIND YOU only 8 days with no previous month due.Be thoughtful when you look for a new apartment and considered how you will be treated and smiles can be deceiving, Look and feel and ask around before you sign on something. And always take into consideration the kind of people you will be dealing with. If you feel they are off, Look somewhere else. You can make allowance for others peoples noise, a little understanding on how maintenance attend to your needs. BUT NEVER COMPROMISE ON HOW THEY TREAT YOU AND RESPECT YOU. DONT GIVE BUSINESS TO PEOPLE WHO WILL TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH the way I felt I was treated here today. TOTALLY INCONSIDERATE, HIGHY DISRESPECTFUL THAT BORDERS TO THREATENING EMAIL ON THE PAIN OF EVICTION FOR ONY 8 DAYS OF UNPAID BILLS AGAIN WITH NO PRVIOUS UNPAID BILL. HORRIBLE PEOPLE THAT RUN THIS APARTMENT. LOOK AWAY if you have a choice, I CANT WAIT TO END MY LEASE
Management at Willowbrook is awesome! The curb appeal looks great!
Love living here ....Nice neighbors and beautiful landscaping and trees.....amazing friendly staff......very peaceful place to live... :)
When I first reviewed this place I have it 2 stars, but after living here longer, it has gotten worse.Maintenance doesnt do their job, leaving porch lights broken and wasps nests up indefinitely, Management are bitchy and antagonistic levying arbitrary fines on you for no good reason. Wild, rude, loud children all during the summer at all hours. Cats all over everything, shitting under staircases to make your walk to your door smell of a rotten litter box.Now our neighbors have been causing serious drama over us using the VISITORS parking spots, you know those spots that are up for grabs, yea, reported us to the management and all our neighbors for using their parking spots.Avoid this place, were moving this spring, this place is like an antagonistic middleschool.
Rent is average for the kind of apartment. There is very little staff, so it takes FOREVER for maintenance to take care of your request, and I mean MONTHS.
Its a good place to live, in this area.
New management came in when thge property was bought and things are going down hill. Manager is rude and unsociable, treats you like you are a bother and seems to have every excuse to not do her job and help you.
Great management and will work with you
Affinity Properties is a POS company, stay away, you have been warned. There is trash everywhere and the storage units are scary enough that you may find a body.
New Management & Maintenance are the best
Sort of run down.
Very rude.
I like the place and I will miss it
👎👎👎
It is a nice place to live
Very happy people live.
Good excellent and cheap laundry outside
