Lack luster gym with patrons who made me feel very uncomfortable for speaking Spanish.

Employee was super friendly and gave me a tour and talked to me about what the offer . All around a really nice gym.

We have visited hundreds of Anytime Fitness locations in our travels. Since we don’t have a schedule in our retirement RV travels we usually try to visit in off hours so as not to get in the way of others who don’t have the luxury of no schedule. This location rates at the top. Nice sitting area for pre or post workout drink, three non gender specific bathrooms, two with showers, welcoming atmosphere and well cared for and looked after location.

Well, after been part of anytime Fitness for more than 1.5 years...I just cancelled my subscription. I like this gym because I can found one of them where ever a go for work (I travel a lot) and never had a problem. But this location in particular its the one in my hometown. And everytime I go to the gym, I rearrange the weights because people its messi and leave everything everywhere...and the girl taking care of the gym its kind of skinny and didnt want her to get hurt...some times I even try to fix or tight the loose bolts in the machines. But yesterday I was talking to my mother on the phone because a family member passed two days a go and I want to comfort my mother. And this young lady came to me and told me I was talking to loud and I was discomforting the other costumers (3 ladys ) which I never saw them go talk to her to complain. But I bet it wasnt the volume of my voice talking but the fact I was talking in Spanish with my mother...so I just canceled my subscription and joing the competition.

Getting my membership today. Went as guest here, since they dont have my regular gym here. And, although Ill still keep my other gym membership,I believe Ill continue with this gym as well. Ill give a better account if future experiences here as I continue to go. But so far, so good!

An Anytime Fitness is what I call a junior gym. Still, this has most of the equipment I want. Im in Bay City occasionally. They let me buy a used fob and activate it when Im in town, which is very helpful.

This recreation center reminds me of a more well refined YMCA from the days of my youth. When I walked in I was greeted with the old familiar smell of gym socks and pretty ladies. Since Beth passed away Ive been looking for a new spot to meet the ladies, after the pastor told me it was inappropriate to flirt with the widows in my Sunday School class. I think I found my spot ;) The monthly fee cuts into my retirement account more than I like, but the tanning bed makes me look and feel 10 years younger! All they need is a Square-Dance class and Id be in heaven. Minus 2 stars for playing Justin Beaver on the radio.-Mervin

The equipment is in great condition and facility overall is very clean. Access to showers after a work out AWESOME!
