First off the lady Dianne didn’t even know how to use the check in machine. Then she goes to give me a haircut and does an absolute terrible job. I could have done it myself better. She asks why I want the comb over and I said it’s because I style my hair like that. And she proceeds to ask me “Why” it was super rude and unprofessional. She should not be working there.

Sadie gave me the worst haircut of my life. She was proud to rush through the haircut in 10 minutes and it looked terrible. Never go to the RENTON store as the are only interested in the speed of the haircuts and not the quality.

I went in last Sunday to get my hair cleaned up and got Dom (don?) and he was amazing. Great job, took his time for a great cut but didnt take forever, attentive but not like mindlessly chatty. He was just chill and nice and listened. Then I go to work where my coworkers are impressed, and I had a few guys who were surprised I got this cut at a Sports Clips because Dom did a very styled and clean fade, and its the best my hair has ever looked. Thanks man! My birthday was great partly thanks to you!

So I understand COVID is making things more complicated, and this review is more for corporate and their online check-in system. The wait started at 14 minutes, then once I got to check in it has more than doubled by the time I press the check in button. I also started with a 31 minute wait which didnt change for over 10 minutes, and after waiting nearly 20 minutes my wait was down to about 25 minutes. I also cant wait inside the store, or at least the waiting room is cleared of chairs. So it makes it really awkward and hard to time your arrival without crowding the front of the shop. That lacking accuracy of the check in system seems pretty negligent when theyre only staffing two people inside the business. I mean, if COVID makes your primary customer channel confusing and misleading it may be good to focus on that this far in.

Online check in was great! Had me seated within minutes of arriving. A little confused as to the different prices... Theyre still offering a hot towel on your face...but you have to leave you mask on. 😂

I used to enjoy bringing my son here. Until today. It was a great place for a 5yo haircut. “Checked in” at 1108 and it told me 32 minutes. Got here and waited around for another 40 minutes. There were 10 ppl waiting and 3 stylists. One of those stylist (Eric) had the same person in his chair from when we walked in until my son was seen. With seemingly no concern that everyone is sitting around waiting.When we were finally called up and Eric was my sons stylist. Ironic. But it is what it is. Moderate cut. Lots of cut lines on the top of his head.As we left, there were 6 stylists working.This is supposed to be a in and out place. Not sure what’s going on, but I am now finding another location.

Pretty standard hair place. All the stylists seem nice and I’ve never had a horrible experience. My one complaint is you can’t just get a haircut. It has to be a “triple play” or “MVP.” Sometimes that is nice but other times I just need a quick cut. I don’t have time for cut, shampoo, and whatever else they do. Overall though it a good place.

Been getting my hair cut twice a month here since I started my new career 5 months ago. Ms. Cindy has been treating me amazingly, lining me up, taking the time and going the extra mile to make sure I’m happy with my haircuts. She always remembers my name, we catch each other up on our daily lives and ALWAYS greets me with a big smile :)And for those reasons I have ditched my salon I used to go to in Downtown Seattle for my local Sports Clips nearby home.Congrats to her on her new management position and I look forward to see her and her team here at The Landing Sports Clips every other week.You guys are the best, thank you for keep me so handsome 😎

Staff is friendly. And courteous. However, most stylists dont know how to cut hair. I pretty much have to do some adjusting when I come home. They leave uneven patches of hair that make you look like a shedding half clipped goat. And the price you pay is not worth it.

I took my son to get his haircut here and he was so embarrassed as the woman that cut his hair didn’t even do what he asked. He told her he wanted a 1 to a 2 (a fade) but she basically did a buzz cut. He was so embarrassed and was complaining to me on the way home, I had to call the place back to at least blend his hair so it looked better. He is a teenager and very self conscious about his hair. He said he dreaded going to school now be cause he was gonna get “clowned”. This stylist needs to listen better or not do a good job because we came in with a coupon. I’m not sure if she cut it as a buzz cut because we came in on a promotion but wether we pay $15 or $24 it should be done good so the customer will come back. We will never be back to this place! You need to train your workers better. Buyer beware these woman do not know how to do a “fade” it’s better to go to a barber then this place! Terrible!

Schedule an appointment with Aaron, the app told me it would be a 49 minute wait and to show up at 3:59. I walked in the door at 4:00, checked-in, and he walked past me and left. Somehow even though I showed up exactly when I was supposed to, and waited an hour for the appointment, they were completely unable to provide the service. A complete waste of time and wondering what the point of the app is, and if theres any competent staff, based on this experience.

Online check-in? I tried to get my haircut, did an online check-in. Online check-in says arrive at 1:35. So I walk in at 1:30. She says, check-in so we know your here. So I check-in... Again. And get cued up with another 10 minute wait time. So after sitting in the waiting room until 1:55 (20 minutes after my online check-in time) I walk out without a hair cut.... So tell me, what exactly is the point of online check-in? Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time.

Just had a great hair cut from Andre. Unlike most Sports Clips stylists, he went slow and took his time. I didnt feel like I was being rushed out the door to make room for the next customer. Judging by the straight razor at his station, you can also get a shave after the hot towel. Ive been wanting this for a long time, but since I shaved this morning I didnt ask for one. If I werent transferring to a different work location in the next few weeks, Id be asking and waiting for Andre for all future hair cuts here.

Everyones always really nice!! Alisha ALWAYS cuts my husband and boys hair!! Shes not there often though but shes TOTALLY worth the wait!

I always get a good haircut from this one. Friendly staff and usually a minimal wait. The MVP hot towel and scalp massage is the best part.

With the tip it was 29.00 for a buzz cut that still left hairs poking through. The Staff seemed pretty miserable to be working there. To say the least I wasn’t impressed in any way shape or form with this place and won’t be coming back.

Pretty sure this was one of the worsr hair cuts Ive ever gotten.I asked for an inch and a half on the top but received an inch. They did a really bad blend job and also the whole front part of my hair is uneven. So I get to have my wife fix that.For 24 bucks... This was a waste of time and money. You should just go to a supercuts.

The cut was pretty much equivalent to what I expect at super cuts, The reason for the 2 stars is mainly because I came in from work so I requested that she wash my hair before it was cut as I had alot of product in... This didnt happen... Then after she cuts my hair she asks if I would like my hair washed, seriously¿? I just asked you to wash it before my cut, why would I want it washed after!? beyond that the fade isnt great and I noticed pieces of hair today that are just randomly long in places that look weird. so yea... basically super cuts with a different sign on the door

Had a Horrible experience with a stylist today. I have been going to this place for that last 2 years and I never had major issues. but today was one of the worst experience and I will never go back.I asked him to use number 4 on the side and leave one inch on the top. He started using number 4 on top too I stopped him and asked what is he doing. He said that is what he understood and started apologizing. I had to use number 4 on top as the damage was already done.there used to be good stylists in this place but not any more. there are bunch of new people and does a horrible job.

Checked in on the app, like you are asked to, and it said a 5 minute wait. I get there and they say im on deck after 10 minutes pass i ask if they can give me an update. They told me another 25 to 30 minutes.

It’s obvious when a place has horrible culture and certain stylists will tell you then can do a simple buzz cut and you leave with lines and dents. Then the employees with the negative attitude think it’s funny, mind you I’ll tip 20 every time for a good cut.

My son loves this place. Maybe he just loves the massage in the other room but his hair was cut and he was happy.

The staff was nice and helpful. However, their haircuts are extremely overpriced & you have got NO OPTIONS. You either get it or you get it. I paid $25 dollars for 10 mins that it took them to cut my hair.

Came in on one of the snow days and even though they were understaffed because of the weather, I got an amazing cut and great service.

The girl I went to the girl I went to did an extremely good job and made me feel like a new person when she was done.

I went in, showed the women a picture and she started chatting up some terminology and told me how my last barber messed up and I didnt care for the most part. I told her I wanted a fade on the sides and she didnt do that and she blatantly lied along with her coworker after I called her out for using a .5 on the whole side of my head and she starting saying random terminology that I supposedly need to know and its my fault along with my last persons fault. Dont suggest going there unless youre getting something you could do in your own mirror.

One of the worst haircuts ive ever gotten. Staff was nice, but the stylist i got had no idea what she was doing. My hair was cut very unevenly, and not at all how i wanted it. Do not recommend at all.

Had a bad experience with a stylist, bad attitude, has no idea how to do a hair cut. And if you ask her to fix something, way to much attitude. Second time with the same stylist. Fist time I got out of the chair and walked away, this time I sat it to give it a chance, and half way got out. Ive been getting the same hair cut for 2 years at their stores and this one gave me so much attitude and totally wrong, screwed it all up. Had to have the assistant manager Shannon fix it. She did good very polite and professional. But for the bad experience its a 1 star.

This is the second and last time im going to sportclips. I went in today to get a haircut and came out unhappy like last time, last time they did a terrible neck trim and this time they did a terrible hair fade on the back of my head, looks like a gap on the back of my head, and the stylist couldnt even cut my hair the way I showed her, besides that it takes them like almost an hour to cut some hair, wasted my time and $24 for something i could have done better myself. I wouldnt even pay $10 for what happened today and wouldnt recommend sportclips unless you wanna waste time and money for an unprofessional cut.

Great place my boys go here all the time sports haircuts and MVPs big deal for the kids they love the massage chairs and steam towels makes life way easier even more when they used to hate getting their haircuts now they jump up and say where they want it done and haircuts always great must try

Have had haircuts here since the store first opened. The last three haircuts were all awful, to the point where I had to shave my head. Stay away from this place if you want to look decent for an interview.

Once a month they do a great job Ill only have the manager cut my hair moving forward because it was such a good cut. Great staff all around.

My Stylist was Aaron, he was so rude and the way he used comb or the trimmer was very bad (painful) . He kept on hitting my ears with the comb even after telling not to do so. I normally do an MPV but due to his behavior I was afraid the he will rude with shampooing too.ONE OF THE WORST STYLIST I HAVE EVER HAD.Sports clips should take this seriously.

Have gotten 2 bad cuts from this place. Most recently was Sharon. I asked her to take a little off the top and keep the sides short. Well, now I have what looks like a bad buzz cut. Wont be going back to this location again.

Dad and brother went in for a haircut and they came out looking worse than they walked in. The service was rushed, not detailed and all and all just amateur. For what they are charging a customer for, the service is TERRIBLE. $27 for a haircut that isnt well done? Embarrassing to say the least..

Went in for a haircut ($19) no towel or wash and paid ($5) for tip no receipt just checked my bank account they took out ($30) so either my math is bad or they helped themselves to a bigger tip or charged me for the MVP the stylist seemed upset when I said I only wanted a haircut and no MVP also not the friendliest person I might add Ill never go there again and if you decide to bring cash and get a receipt or just go someplace else.
