This was my first time visiting panache Hair & Body Salon inc. I must say Im impressed I was greeted with a a friendly smile and warm welcome Dwight was a great stylist and the color he put in my hair is Poppin absolutely loved it when you finish. This is a black owned establishment... this was my 1st visit... Stephanie was my service provider today.. I love the pedicure and manicure she performed... I felt welcomed by all the staff I encountered.. very nice environment

Panache is my favorite salon in Baton Rouge! Dwight has been my stylist for the past 20 years and he is one of the best at what he does. I will recommend anyone to panache because all the stylist there are very knowledgeable and their professionalism is what sets them apart.

Took my 8 yr old and Corliss did her hair. She did a great job.a very relaxed and professional atmosphere. The due a great job keeping the salon clean and sanitized.

I have been to Panache many times over about 15 years and felt a certain friendship with my stylist. However, this time I was highly disappointed that my natural hair was heat damaged. Dwight is the only stylist Ive trusted to use heat on my hair and I had it done for the first time in January. I had it done again on 11/25 and due to the cool weather was able to keep it straight with flexi rods for 3 weeks. I was shocked to wash my hair and feel its reluctance to revert. Where there were natural curls, there are now waves and straight pieces. When I sent him pictures and told him my concern, his reply was, That can happen any time heat is applied to hair. He also said this was not uncommon on longer hair. But no concern, no hey come by so I can see it, no tips to care for it or check its health. Nothing.I could accept this response if I felt that I took a risk when sitting in his chair. I could accept this response if I use heat frequently, but this was 10 months between presses and I could really accept this response if I do not care for my hair and it is unhealthy. None of the above are true statements and he knows that I wouldve never sat in his chair had I felt that I was risking the elasticity of my hair. What I do feel happened is my hair was not protected. He immediately began blowing it out without heat protectant. Straightening is a grueling process that requires care and attention. Thinking back on it I shouldve been more persistent with my hair care and disrupted the conversation basketball that he was involved in; but I felt that I was in good hands. After all, its been many years of service and I trusted his judgment. Not only have I trusted him with my hair but my daughters.Neither of us will be returning and if youre reading this as a new or existing client, know that you are risking your hair in this service and avoid it at all cost. Just felt that I should warn others since I was not warned.

I started going to Panache around 10 years old. I left with a former stylist, and once she moved to a different state, I returned to Panache. I have been there now for 6 years. I’ve moved to a different state, I but I make an appointment every time I visit. I love Dwight! He’s great! All of the stylists are great! I would trust all of them with my hair!

Dwight has been my stylist for many years. He is knowlegable about all hair types, colors, and perms. He will take the time to consult with you and recommend the best treatment/hair service for you. Panache means flamboyant or having flair. And, the artistry of all the stylists also reflects in their work. The shampoo ladies are attentive to your scalp sensitivity as well. The place is clean, good location, parking lot secure, separate rooms for hair drying and styling. Most importantly, my hair and scalp is healthy, feels good, looks good.

Brenda has been doing my hair for over two years now and I love how it consistently comes out pretty and healthy! She is always honest about the possible effects certain styles can have on the health of my hair when I come to her with different ideas. The staff is friendly and I love that they have a separate hair dryer room.

After my former stylist passed away..... I needed a new stylist. I decided to try this salon out & I love it! I talked to Corliss and she is great. The salon even made Christmas holiday dinner and snacks for the clients!

GREAT staff! Always courteous and helpful! If I am in a jam theyll even take me when theyre supposed to be leaving! I wouldnt trust my daughters hair to any other salon! Miss Corliss and Dwight are incredible! Tip the shampoo ladies b/c theyre awesome!

Very nice establishment and is black owned, not to take away from the professionalism of the staff. Great calm and relaxing business with informative staff. If you need a haircut ask for Shomari he is by appointment only but hell get you fresh.
