I’m in town for a conference and there’s a fancy banquet tonight. I also have a wedding to go to next weekend. I scheduled an appointment and didn’t have to wait long once I got there. The pedicure felt great and the staff were friendly and respectful, as far as I know. :) I prefer getting the dip nails because they’re not as heavy as acrylic and they don’t damage the nails when removed. I expect for dip nails to last 2 weeks or longer. However, less than 24 hours from getting them done, one nail has already chipped and the topcoat is peeling away. I don’t have time to go back and get this fixed. Less than 48 hours later and half my nails are chipped and peeling. The dips nails cost me $45. I always tip well - with pedicure and tip, I paid $95. I’m going to have to have the nails redone this weekend, unless a local salon can match the color. The customer service is good, but the product quality is poor. I don’t indulge in little luxuries like this often, and I could have done a lot more with the $150 this is ultimately costing me.I called to ask for a refund and was told they can’t do refunds but would give me a free set. I may not be back in Baton Rouge long enough to have my nails done for another 10 years.Customer service was very good, everyone was polite and professional. But I effectively wasted $55, when I add in half the tip I gave.

I’m giving 2 stars because the girl who did my nails was polite.... BUT! It’s been not even 3 weeks & a whole 5 nails have popped off from my full set. Usually a full set lasts much longer than this for me. Not only that, I paid $40 for this.... and they aren’t long..... you could say I’m annoyed.

I’ve gone to this place multiple times. Every time I have been treated rudely and the nail techs never listened to my requests on my nails. They always do my nails too thick, and the nail polish chips off in a day or two. They also have treated my friend very poorly when she came along with me. I’ve tried to find positive things about this place but every time they seem to disappoint me. They have a very limited selection of REGULAR nail polish and try to push you to do gel polish, which is more expensive. Me being a teenager I do not have the money to get the most expensive manicure. After the last time I went here I got nail fungus. For a place that claims to be “luxurious,” it’s not. The salon is very pretty but the customer service is poor. Never again.

Not owned by the ORIGINAL OWNERS, which is why I came out of my way to patronize the business. I came in and I knew it felt strange! Heartbroken. I went ahead with the nails anyway. I was nipped twice around the top of my fingers but the woman was apologetic. First time dip was nice but chipped after a week. I was told it would last longer than gel, but not in this experience. It was quite expensive, and for the trip across town, it was another sting to the business shift. Not terrible, but Im back on the search for a BOB.

Brought my 5 year old daughter for pedicures. They were very sweet and catering to her (unlike other places who just quickly polish her toes). While I paid extra for the “sport” pedicure, I don’t really think there was a difference in that and the essential, especially not $25 extra difference. Overall, the place was very nice and had a fantastic variety of pinks which I can’t say for other places.

I just recently moved to the Baton Rouge area and wanted to find a nail salon that i liked. I figured I would give this one a try while i was at the mall. My pedicure went great, can’t complain about that at all. Danny did my full set, and basically rushed though. All I wanted was white tips, no polish. He painted my tips on but they’re all uneven and on some you can still see some of my real nail tip. The coating that they put on top of the fake nail is also very uneven, and after just 4 days of having them on they’re already starting to peel up on the sides (I’m not very hard on my nails AT ALL). Definitely not worth the $45 that I had to pay for the full set, & I won’t be going back for a manicure. Thought that maybe because the salon was very nice that my nails would come out immaculate. Don’t waste your money here.

Went in on a Friday afternoon to get a full set. The set looked good however she didnt match up the lengths of my nails on both hands so some were longer on one hand than the other. At work that Monday, three days later, both of my thumb nails came off and others were on the verge of coming off. I went back and asked for them to be removed and to either get a refund, or get my natural nails dipped. They were very nice and willing to redo them for me. However, instead of soaking the nails in nail polish remover, they peeled them off of my nails. Some of them were painful because they were so recently put on. And because they peeled them off and didnt soak them, my real nails came off with them, which is something that she noticed but didnt say anything about. Now, all of my nails are down to the nail bed. One nail was so close to the nail bed she checked it multiple times to make sure it wasnt bleeding because the skin immediately turned red. As a result for all of my nails being peeled off, she had to put tips on, which is what I was trying to avoid, and she dipped my nails. My new nails look better than the others but theyre not completely filled in and one is crooked. I wont ever go back. I went originally because of a friends recommendation.

John did a wonderful job with my pedicure! He deserves 5 stars. When me and my friend walked in the receptionist wasnt at the desk and was just sitting on a random chair. She just said to go pick nail polish and didnt even show us whereit was, Which I thought was kind of unprofessional. More people came in and she did the same thing. The salon was extremely clean and well kept though.

Im not sure where to begin. This place is so overrated. The only thing I liked was the chairs. The girl that did my nails was nice also. I spent almost $100 and my gel nails came off 2 days later. The polishes dont match. My feet were ashy when I left because they didnt lotion my feet after paying so much money for a spa pedicure. I just wanted to relax but too many conversations between the workers. I tried to go somewhere different but that cost me way too much. Back to my usual spots I go for $40 and at least my nails will last more than 2 days.

1. friendly and nice location2. Pedicures are over priced for the services (no jets, doesnt properly massage feet, or scrub)dont mind paying just want my monies worth.3. While getting a pedi I told her the rocks were too hot, she stated you wanted hot rocks well yes but dont burn me.3. They push more expensive services instead of allowing you to let them know what you want.

By far the worst manicure I have ever gotten in my life. The woman that did my dip powder had no idea what she was doing. When she finished, another person had to go behind her and redo my nails. Took over 2 hours. Definitely would not recommend and definitely will NEVER go back. Staff was rude when asked to fix my nails. Overall terrible experience.

Went to get a manicure on my lunch break. My manicure was done very nicely, looks very good, good price/value but I will not be back. This place is gross. There is smeared nail polish all over the counters, empty starbucks cups everywhere, and dont look up. There are cobwebs with DOZENS of dead bugs in them everywhere. Have some respect for your business.

Worst job in the history of getting my nails done EVER! Ive been traveling all week for my job I need to get my nails taken care of and relax.First of they did not have the polish I wanted that should have been the first indication but I thought okay its a popular color.Second the receptionist brought over a couple of colors to choose from they were ALL sticky and nasty around the top, I should have left but I had an event the next day an needed to get them done. I paid almost $50.00 I woke up this morning and my nails actually looks like my 7 yrs old granddaughter did them.....HORRIBLE.I said all that to say I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!when I return home to Houston Ill have them done properly.

Me and my husband went in for a pedi, the decor from afar looks nice, but once you get close, its clear that they are not doing proper upkeep. My manicure was pretty good, however, the woman who did my husbands pedi rushed. We went in for the same pedicure but my husband was finished a whole 45 minutes before me. His nails were uneven and he was not satisfied. Idk what she was in such a hurry for because all she did was get on her phone. The saving grace was the woman who did my nails. Pick the right person and you may get a decent experience but over all Im sure there are better options.

DO NOT GO HERE. The girl who did my nails stayed on her phone the WHOLE time texting. She Drilled my cuticles off with the electric file and my cuticles are still HURTING and BLEEDING. I never had this experience with any other nail salon. I asked for COFFIN shape and my nails looked ROUND. She put 3 Thick layers of polish on my nails. When I went under the dryer the polish started drying weird and everything looked horrible. She had an ATTITUDE when her boss made her re-do my nails. About two months ago I came here to get a pedicure only and they rushed my pedicure. Do not come here because this nail salon is TRASH and you will be wasting your money.

Ive been here at least 3 times. I used to get Henna here which was great however Ive had my nails done at least 3 times here and its horrible.I wanted to get a design but was informed that they didnt have the tools to do the design. I got my nails done last week because I had a gift card for here and a few of my nails just fell off (its been less than a week). I was charged $47 for a shellac full set (extremely high). On another occasion the tech tried to give me coffin shaped nails and completely butchered my nails. I had to tell the manager so that I could get someone else to redo them. The people are overall nice but the quality of work is horrible. Not Worth It!

To whom it may concern, Ive heard so many great reviews about your nail salon, so of course I had high hopes when I finally decided to come in. I didnt have an appointment but I came to accompany my best friend Briana Brown, who did have one scheduled at 1:15pm. (Aug. 25th) We came in, checked in and waited. After reviewing the services you had to offer for about 10mins, I decided myself to check in for a pedicure, I figured I would get my first one at Luxe.I asked the lady at the desk how long it would take to get started, to which she told me that it should only take about 5mins since a technician was finishing up on client. I agreed, put my name on the list and proceeded to wait. Briana & I ended up waiting until 2:10pm, just about an hour after her scheduled appointment which is completely unprofessional. Her technician never informed us that it would be longer than expected, nor did she come over to speak to us at all. The clerk at the front desk didnt bother to inform us either, but felt it necessary to inform another client (I take it she may have been a regular) that her technician would be running over an hour late. The only thing the front clerk did engage with the waiting clients in is providing wine. There was also a client that walked in after I put my name on the list, and was immediately sent back to the same technician I was told would be working on me.As far as my first experience in this store, it was less than a nice Time and I sincerely hope this isnt an ongoing experience for others. Ive heard so many good things about your location from others, and the fact that its an African American owned business does help me to give it a second chance to try it out possibly, but I truly hope these issues can be resolved. I barely have the time to pamper myself, so when I do, I expect excellent service. I may try again.

Horrible quality!!!! I went in for a mani pedi and it was my first experience with dipping. On Monday night I went in because they were the only shop open after 7 i got there around 730. They were very friendly and the pedicure was good and that was done around 8/815. This is when it all went to hell. Jenny was the one that did my nails and pedicure. It was her first day in the shop and i was her first client. It took her almost two hours to do the dip and she put my index finger tips on crooked. I decided to ignore it because i thought that it would look better when she finished. The finished look was subpar. On Thursday one of my index finger nails broke and the others seemed to be lifting. The nail broke exactly how she placed the plastic tip. I called today sunday to see if i could get a refund and she told me i waited too late and that i should have called thursday. She refused to give me a refund and made it seem like it was my fault. Mind you its been snowing and icy all week so i couldnt go up there and wasnt sure if they were even open. I will never go there again. I should have known better since she was asking another nail tech what to do. Dont go to Jenny!!! and DO NOT GO TO THIS SUPPOSEDLY LUXE NAIL BAR!

I give the place one star because I called 1week in advance to make sure a tiara would be available for my daughter on her 3rd birthday got to Luxe no tiara, for The Princess Pedicure! Secondly in the website the owners market mimosa with the pedicure packet didnt get that either! They also didnt have a wide selection of colors to choose! Overall I ended up paying $95 for a basic mani pedi (with no mimosa included) and no tiara for my princess pedi! Not to mention I had to express every detail of how I wanted my nails bc homebody just couldnt get it right! Im never returning here and I wouldnt recomend to anyone!
