I had made an appointment with this place for myself and my best friend as she was going to be surprised with an engagement that day. We came in and the first guy was friendly, and he did my nails. But the lady that did my friends nails didn’t say much of anything. She continued her conversations with her coworkers but barely said a single word to my friend almost ignoring her completely. The guy doing my nails ended up doing all the chatting with both me and my friend.He was nice, but didn’t listen when I said “please don’t file my nails at all because I just did that yesterday.” He filed them anyway and left them with pieces hanging that tore off and they caught on the nail polish and any fabric… they didn’t get buffed well which was annoying. And as you can see in the pictures the polish was done very messily and even though I was super careful they chipped because of how he filed my nails. They were so quick, I think it took all of 5-7 minutes for the entire thing. They literally had one other client and yet they so clearly wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. I got charged before they did the polish which I’m sure is probably normal, but then I even kindly gave them a $20 tip! And they STILL did a rough job…I did a lot of research before choosing a place and landed on this place based on reviews… I will not return here and wish to god I could get my money back, especially the large tip which was not earned by any means… I spent all that money for a good time with my friend and ended up with mostly bad service and chipped nails that I had to remove the polish and re-file the SAME DAY just to fix…

My first time visiting Luxury Nails. The service was awesome the guy that waited on me was very patient and took great care of me. I don’t get color I just want my feet cared for. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Great vibes and energy I’ll definitely be back soon :)

Customer service was okay but I’m not satisfied with my nails. I wanted coffin French tip and the shape isn’t as neat as I wanted it. I wish that they applied the nude polish at least twice before they put the French tip on because you can see the acrylic tip. I notice that the shapes of most nails are crooked due to filing being done at the end. The nails are pretty thick because the acrylic wasn’t filed down before polishing. The sides of my nails don’t have polish and the white polish has bubbles in it. The smile lines for the French tip are also crooked. From a distance they look ok but I’ll be going to another salon to get them fixed. Overall not satisfied and will never return

I really enjoyed my experience while i was here. The atmosphere is great and the salon is beautiful. I got a gel manicure and it was literally the fastest manicure Ive had. It came out beautifully. Unfortunately the next day my polish had already cracked. I get a gel mani every week so I will give them one more chance because I really do like the customer service and the location!Update: 3 days after my original review, I now have multiple fingernails with chips in them. A gelmanicure should last at least one week! Sad to say I wont be returning to this salon.

The customer service was great! They were very nice, but were not honest about the work they could do. I asked for a regular almond shape french tip (had a picture and all). One of the nail techs cut them short then continued to argue with me that they were the same shape after multiple people said they were not. I then asked if he was able to do this design and he stated yes, no problem I have attached the picture and then my nails. In the future, if youre not confident that youre able to execute the style please dont attempt it. I wasnt satisfied and will only continue getting strictly pedicures.

I recently moved to Baton Rouge and have been searching for a new nail salon home. I wanted to like this salon but I won’t be going back. My natural nails are healthy and long so I asked for dip powder (which I’ve always gotten with no issue) however the nail tech heavily suggested I try a new dip technique which turned out not to be dip at all but an acrylic base followed by gel polish. He kept telling me this way was better although I kept voicing why I didn’t like gel polish. I went back less than two weeks later because it was already starting to chip and this time he did the dip powder method but he rushed it. He didn’t buff or drill the nails to smooth them out, he didn’t let the powder set fully and he filed and misshaped one of my nails so badly when I went to a new salon she asked me who messed up my nail and made it crooked. When he finished he said “see why the other way is better?” which made me feel like he did it poorly just to prove a point.When a customer is paying you and requests a service, do what they ask, not what you think is best and quickest. And take the time to do it correctly so they won’t walk away feeling like they just wasted their hard earned money.

The staff is always very friendly. My pedicures are always wonderfully done! I don’t really talk much as a client and I’m sure they picked up on the energy, and instead of forcing conversation they completed my service in an efficient manner. I am always satisfied with the service here and I will be returning!

My coworker always raves about this salon so I decided to stop by to get a pedicure and eyebrow wax before a wedding. It’s very clean and the staff is super friendly. I usually am wary about trying new places for eyebrows because mine a on the thinner side but they waxed them so nicely!!! There have a really nice shape to them so I’ll be sure to come back again soon!!

I will not be going back here. Should have gone to V’s nails. I have short nail beds and like to get my cuticles pushed back, that was not done. Then my gel polish was not painted all the way to the cuticle making it look like it was a week grown out before I even left. All and all my pedicure and manicure lasted about 20 combined, so quick. It was a pedicure I could do at home.

This place is so over priced for horrible nails. I literally wanted something simple and they are all different sizes and shapes. I paid 110 for 2 pedicures which is ridiculous

Pretty salon but they overcharge for no reason and don’t listen to what you want. Took them nearly 2 hours for a mani and pedi, most of that waiting on him for the mani. The owner just chopped off my nails while asking me if I wanted them cut. They were then too short for a coffin shape. He charged me $60 for nails that weren’t even what I wanted. He does a dip base with a gel on top, that doesn’t even take long to complete. No shape to the nails and noticed this on people around me. Said the extra charge was $5 to remove dip and $10 extra to add some nail polish edge in ring fingers. That on top of already premium $45 for whatever this technique of his is. Mani color and pedi color didn’t match even though same numbers- 1 regular polish and 1 gel. $95 total

When I walked in I was simply in awe of the beauty and cleanliness of the establishment. They staff was so friendly and very attentive to anything that I needed I did not have to stay all day I was in and out and the pedicure was amazing to say the least. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend anyone to patronize their business.

I have been going to Luxury Nails since they opened in 2018 and I have never been disappointed. Love the work and the time they take to make sure you are satisfied. The ambience is relaxing, as they play soothing background music and have a clean and spacious area. The owner and workers are so kind. Customer service is Top Top and pricing is beyond reasonable.

I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted when I was ready to spend the money on a good one. I was hardly spoken to. I then witnessed a woman drain the tub next to me, rinse it with water (not deep cleaning it) and fill it with water for the next person. I am disgusted and almost said something to the customer but did not want to cause a scene and be labeled Karen. Praying I dont get some kind of foot fungus after this.

My all time favorite nail salon in Baton Rouge. I’m being honest, usually gel or dip powder typically lasts less than 2 weeks on my nails when I get my nails done at other salons. But here my nails lasted almost 4 weeks and look amazing!!! The staff is very professional and great at what they do. The color selection is awesome!! They move fast, but do a great job! I have never waiting more than 20 minutes! I Highly recommend Luxury to anyone!

They most definitely over charge and don’t make people of color a priority, be weary, I called them on the phone and asked how much it would for refill w/ gel polish and they said $35 and once everything was said and done they said $50 and I was confused as to why they added a additional $15 and it took them 45 + minutes to get to my nails done and there were at least 2-3 other women that were Caucasian and they were all accommodated and their nails were finished before mine and I went in before them..... over priced and in my opinion not poc friendly

Ok so honestly...BEST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE EVER! Everything was so clean and neat the decor is BEAUTIFUL and they play jazz so the atmosphere is peaceful :) Jimmy shaped my dip nails so beautifully and chatted with me the entire time. I had a wonderful experience seriously...I will be back time and time again. I received a full pedicure and a dip set in one hour. UNHEARD OF!

It has been a WHILE since I’ve had a good nail shop in the Baton Rouge area. The moment I walked into this facility it was a peaceful setting and they were very attentive to those walking through the door. They take temps upon arrival, require a mask and recommend you make an appointment. My nails came out AMAZING BOTH times I went and they definitely last until the next fill in. I’m a bartender so I’m harsh on my nails, but the really stayed shiny and neat and I got compliments even when it was time for me to get my refill. They have earned a forever customer

The manicure, was the worst manicure I received in my life. I went super early in the morning. And I chose them to do my wedding nails. Big mistake. They did not push my cutícules and when they applied the acrylic, they did not cover the entire nails from the cuticle and sides. Additionally, when they applied the gel, they did not brush it all over the acrylic. It looked disgusting. I will never be going there again.

My whole experience from the time I entered the building to the the time I left was AWESOME!!!! Everyone was very professional and respectful. The atmosphere was relaxing and the music won me over.All the employees are attentive to the customers needs and there was no negative vibe at all in the building.I will take that drive gladly to get my nails done. Mani/pedi took almost 2 hours. Pedicure was not good, nails cut and filed unevenly. My manicure consisted of polish removal, polish application and top coat, there was no actual manicure. Not worth $70.

I enjoyed the place and found my dream color in shellac. Manicure anand pedicure were good but I never got offered a drink...everyone else around me was offered a drink, not sure why but Im giving it one last try to the place today(customer service)June27 - I got my margarita!! Went back a second time and it was better 100% than the first time. Jimmy is a sweet heart! He did my nails (dip) he is so sweet and very knowledgable of what he does! The men in this place are so sweet!!

Jimmy and his team are awesome! They geg you in and out. The pedicures are so relaxing. I love the Margaritas too. They have so many colors to choose from. The place is very sanitary and super clean. If you’ve never been here you should definitely give it a try. My friends and i come every two weeks.

The atmosphere was really nice and pretty but I feel like the basic pedi shouldve included more especially since the price was a higher than Id usually pay.

Worst dip manicure I have ever gotten. When I usually get dip my nails last at least a month without chipping. A week after getting my nails done at Luxury Nails they started to chip. One nail even popped off. I have never had such horrible results. They also did not trim or file my nails and they did not cut my cuticles. My toe nails also were done horribly. Will not return or recommend to my friends.

Why go anywhere else? Jimmy, Tina, and Ben were all so great to my friend and I. The place is really calming, quiet, and organized. They were very polite and clean! The pedicure and gel nails we got were great. They have cold drinks which was so nice on a hot day. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s so relaxing.

I had a manicure today and it is honestly the worst manicure job ever. My cuticles are not done. My granddaughter had a manicure and pedicure and I had a manicure and we were done in 20 minutes. Both of us. The atmosphere is beautiful. But the service was not that great. I wish I could add a photo to show it. Also we were not offered anything to drink. Not even a sip of water. And I tipped them well. I’ve tried to figure out how to add a photo and I can’t.

Everyone was super super friendly, I’ll give them that. But my gel nails have chipped already. I’ve never had gel nails last such a short amount of time. It usually will stay on my nails for at LEAST a week or two, not just three days. But again, the workers were super nice and my nails did look really good for the few days they lasted

I have very thick eyebrows and do not trust many people to deal with them, but every time I come I leave with perfect eyebrows every single time. I usually go and ask for Jimmy.

Don’t even bother, go somewhere else. Went there expecting excellent service due to the reviews. I received the exact opposite. The young man who is supposedly in charge of the shop spent 5 minutes prepping and shaping my nails, causing them to be different shapes and now they just look a mess. He did not even tell me to wash my hands after prep as nail techs are supposed to do for hygienic reasons. After paying I tried to explain to him that I didn’t appreciate the rush job. He yelled to another customer, presumably a regular, in the store to tell me how much SHE liked HER nails and prompt her to say that she’s never had an issue. Unprofessional. Rush job, trash full set.

Luxury nails is my favorite nails and waxing place ever. I got my eyebrows waxed by Jimmy, and he did such an amazing job! The service is so amazing over there. I just love the atmosphere. Cannot imagine going anywhere else. :)

They have a very nice color selection . Jimmy is hilarious and their margaritas are good! Nails did end up not being technically “coffin shaped “ . They came out more square and was told they can’t be made thinner. Also, one thumb length was shorter than the other . I noticed after already leaving . Their pedicures are nice .

The worst nail shop ever, my nails popped of a week later, my feet look a hot mess. I referred a friend to the shop before mine started popping off and they charged her $45 for a refill and her feet looks like her five year old daughter did it.
