I went to get my nails done at this establishment yesterday. I should have read the reviews before I went. The service as fine but it took 3 hours for me to get a standard pedicure and a full set. She put a ton of acrylic on my nails and her paint job was not the best. I called today to see if she could fix a few of my nails because they were bumpy and uneven. Not only did she change the time 3 times, but when I called her, she hung up on me. I am extremely disappointed that I gave her my money. I will never make that mistake again

The work and techniques are excellent, the place is spotlessly clean but definitely recommend an appointment for here. The staff is friendly and helpful (so many colors and styles to choose from) plus you can have a glass of wine while you get your nails done.

Firstly, I was under the impression this was a black owned salon but of course its not. Nevertheless, I decided to give this place a chance not once, not twice, but three times. Last time was the last straw. I asked for a matte finish on my gel polish nails and I was left with a weird film over the polish instead. Definitely overcharged me for a classic pedi and gel manicure. Its been two days and I hate my nails. I couldve done it myself and saved my coins. Honestly, I think they might be struggling financially. I see the website is no longer active. Will never go back or recommend. Save yourself the trip.

It takes a lot for me to sit down and write a negative review about a small business, but I feel that I dont have much choice here. I was so excited to get my nails done, I walked in with a positive attitude for my appointment (which was at the start of their happy hour discount hours) only to be ignored for an entire hour! Every time I would politely ask when I would be able to be seen, eyes were rolled. When I finally got to get in the chair, I tried to shake it off, but the woman seemed very annoyed. There was no conversation, she was very rough with my hands and reckless with her tools. Then she put my hands on used paper towels rather than getting a fresh sheet! I then broke out in hives on both of my arms right after leaving the salon. To add to the insult, the woman stood right behind me standing over my shoulder when I was adding her tip to my credit card. I will never come here again. I hope my experience was a rare occurrence, but I cannot be sure!

My best friend Sheri took me here for a birthday pedi. It is located in a really nice part of Bolton Hill in Baltimore. The techs were so friendly and professional. I felt relaxed and they did a great job.

After mutiple failed attempts at finding a solid waxing salon, I had accepted that I’d have to drive 30 minutes out of the city to get a decent brow waxing job done. Today I decided to give this place a shot and I think I may have found my go to folks! The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service was excellent. Definitely coming back. Thanks Py Team!

I get gel polish and they do a great job. Shaping and length is always up to my standards. Good color selection too. I also get my eyebrows waxed here and I’m always happy with that as well.

I love this place. The staff is amazingly friendly and great for some chit chat, or you can zone out and watch the giant tv if you prefer. Its very clean with no chemical smell, and I appreciate that they use disposable liners for the pedicure tubs. The nail artists are very talented and they have a pretty wide range of decorative products. I love going in with an open mind and walking out with the most amazingly tricked out claws.

Just moved to Baltimore and I had a full set of acrylics done two weeks before that were growing and out and I was looking to get removed. The acrylics were a pretty rushed and poor job and took about an hour and a half to soak off. I came in for a walk in about an hour before close and Cherise stuck with me and the old nails and still did a really nice gel manicure for me after the removal, even though it was well past close by the time she was done with everything. The spa itself is in a nice spot and has a beautiful interior, it felt very luxurious and their services were a great price! Super close to my house, will be returning in the future!

Wow! Just moved to the city and I found the best nail tech on the first try! Cherise is the best. Personable, knowledge, and she does beautiful nail art. I will for sure be going back. The atmosphere is relaxing and it doesnt feel as though youre rushed in and rushed out as some other salons Ive been to.

My mom and I went to PY tonight and got classic manicures, since we get manicures together every Valentines Day. It was our first time at PY. At first, I was getting a bit annoyed, as we had to wait a half hour past our appointment to be seen. HOWEVER, it was worth it. It is SO nice and comfortable sitting at the bar, chatting, drinking wine and watching TV. Tiffany and Nancy did our nails, and they were FANTASTIC and super nice to talk to. We had an awesome experience. Its super clean, comfy, friendly and all at such a great price!! We will DEFINITELY be back.

I was in the neighborhood and popped in to ask if they took walk ins. The lady rudely told me that they only took appointments. I would have made an appointment if she hadnt been so rude, but I instead found another nail salon a few minutes away and had great service there. Im sure this place does a fine job with nails, but I prefer to patronize places with nicer staff.

Nice atmosphere and customer service but did not perform dip manicure correctly (used regular gloss polish over each layer of the powder with no resin or bonder and still insisted I used the led light to dry them) but still charged an exhorbitant amount for it. Wouldnt go again or recommend if you get dip.

I am super picky about nail salons. I am a gel connoisseur and it is very difficult to find salons who actually care about the condition of your nails and are knowledgeable and willing to do the right thing when it comes to your nails. My gel manicures (no acrylic) have lasted up to 4 weeks. They take their time taking care of you. The ambiance is nice, they have wine, and their facility is very clean. Make sure to make an appointment from Thur-Sun because it gets quite busy, but they still take walk ins. I live in another state but I am going to visit on my way back home.

Came to this location because of the positive feedback I read online. Nearly five days after my gel fill in, my nails are lifting. I feel I was overpriced for my fill in tremendously. An acrylic gel set is priced at 40$ however my fill in with gel was 43$Yea they ripped me off and I’m quite upset ! Beautiful place but my 43$ could have been spent on nails that would actually last me two weeks; not nails lifting/ falling off after nearly a week. Pathetic.

I visited about a week ago with a friend. We made appointments and we were told there would be enough staff to take care of us. There were 3 techs but only one apparently did full sets. We asked 4 times if I could get pink and whites and staff went back and forth on whether they even had the supplies. We were also told that pink and whites is old technique. I have been getting pink and whites for at least 5 years. Two of the techs left (including who I think was the owner) before my friends nails were done or mine. We arrived at about 615 and didnt get to leave until after 9. They also tried to up sell us everything when we were already upset about our experience. This place sucks. Its a waste of money to go to this salon. Will not be returning.

It was my first time going to this salon. I was nervous, however I was pleasantly surprised. I was immediately serviced. Offered a beverage and the price was reasonable. I particularly liked the massage chair. Will defiantly go back.

Excellent service, great quality! I was a little nervous as this was my first pedi and eyebrow waxing since moving to Baltimore, but saw the reviews for this place and thought Id take a chance. Very well designed, tranquil spot in Bolton Hill. Clean tools and very hygienic as well. I dont like that they charge extra for the dead skin and Callus removal, but its worth the extra $5. The chair for eyebrow waxing could be a little more comfortable, but the quality outweighs any qualms over that. They do have a bed which I suppose you could ask to lay on instead. Well see how long the paint lasts, but I really only came to get my feet prepped for a party. They even wrap your toes before you put shoes on so they pedicure doesnt mess up on the walk out! Overall, prices are little high for someone coming from the suburbs, but pretty average for the city.

I love coming here! And I love it even more now that Charise is working there! I moved to Baltimore 5 months ago and this was the closest nail shop that looked inviting and clean. I was right! it has a very nice spa feel I love Charise! she is more than amazing and I am by no means over exaggerating. She is creative and loves what she does! I am so impressed at the time she takes each and every appointment to make sure I am getting exactly what I ask for! I am so picky but I have yet to find someone better than this women! The owner should definitely bring the wine back but other than that I would never go anywhere else unless I moved back to Florida

A little more on the expensive side but all in all, service was wonderful and I like my work I got done. They even give complimentary wine. Wonderful!

I went in with my friend a couple weeks ago to get our nails done, really from the beginning there were issues. I hate to leave bad reviews but I really feel like salons get away with doing poor quality work and being rude and you don’t want to say anything because it’s somewhat of an art. However, if I can save someone the trouble I feel like I should.I called ahead to see if there would be time for us, I said one was a mani pedi and one was a full set. We got there and they put my friend in the pedi chair while I sat and waited for 15-20 for a tech to free up. Okay things happen, you get overbooked. However there were 3 techs there, and two people came in immediately after us with appointments. We shouldn’t have been told there was time for us.My friends toes were finished really quickly, I think the polish looked fine but it wasn’t a full pedicure. Right before she finished I was directed to a table for the full set. I asked for coffin nails, and the tech did a fairly good job at shaping them. Shortly after I sat down my friend sat down and literally was made to wait for the same tech I had for my full set. She just had to sit there the entire time my nails were being done before hers were even started. We actually had one tech and the owner or manager leave the salon before her nails were even started. Again, we should not have been told there was time for us.The tech did that trick where you don’t paint too close to the skin so you don’t get polish there that you have to clean up, which is okay I guess, but considering I’m paying for painted nails it was kind of annoying that they already looked grown out after two days.I also asked for little crystals on each ring finger and the crystals she gave me were like holographic so they had a color to them instead of being clear crystal and they were too big for the nail, I didn’t say anything because when she asked one was already glued and by this time I think the store was technically closed and my friend hadn’t even been started yet. She also said ‘I can do them but if you don’t get gel they could come off’ .. women have been getting acrylic nails painted for decades with normal polish. Gems should not fall off without gel polish. If your regular polish is that cheap you shouldn’t be charging $45 for a manicure. Which I didn’t get a manicure, I got the nails, no massage, not even a drying station.Cut back to my friend, as soon as we walked in she asked for pink and whites. This is an entirely reasonable request, I’ve never been to a salon that didn’t have them. However, they said they did have them, multiple times. Surprise, it’s 8 o clock and the tech is just finishing me and starting my friend and my friend is told that they don’t have the proper materials to do pink and white. So now she has to rethink her entire plan and take time up. This should have been said much earlier like when we walked in so we could find another salon or during the hour plus that my nails were being worked on so we didn’t have to waste another 20 minutes picking out gel and color. On top of that it only took a few days for my friend’s nails to start peeling off and her cuticles were torn up. They also were insulting saying that the pink and white was an ‘outdated technique’, I think it’s more like they couldn’t find a way to upsell it so they took it off the menu.Take your money to a different place. This place has bad management. The tech wasn’t awful but I’m sure she was overworked and tired and her boss literally left while there was a client waiting to be even started. Insane.

They didnt greet me like everyone else, and what I usually get at any other nail spa which comes up to $70 came up to $119 and I didnt get a receipt of a breakdown of what item was what price. It was ridiculous.

Took my lady there to get a mani/pedi. The one thing we like, its super clean and comfortable. The manager was very accommodating. However we both felt this awkward vibe. Its hard to explain, but it made us want to leave quick lol. Thats just a personal thing though. Other than that it was okay

I just got my ingorwn toe nail done today and my toe nail got worse. It is the worst ever. My toe nail is too short so it hurts my skin, it is getting worse and worse every second. It was fine right after but few hours later it started to bleed and swollen. I cannot go to sleep because it is hurting me so much. Dont go here if you are trying to fic your ingrown toe nail. Worst experience ever.
