Amazing experience! The technicians were all super well-mannered and professional. My nails came out better than imagined and I can’t wait to come back when I’m not in such a rush.

The nail experience here was great. My gel fill in and pedicure were done with precision and pretty quickly! My issue is with my eyebrows; I asked the woman about the service and was assured not only do they offer eyebrow waxing but the woman was confident she could shape my brows. I asked once more if she knew what she was doing, she said yes so I opted for the waxing after my nails were finished. 24hrs later I have scarring under both eyebrows and they’re closed on Sunday so no chance of a refund.

Kim did such a lovely job! She made sure to execute the nail design well and was very sweet through my entire appointment. I will definitely be back:)

Best manicure I’ve had in years. I was in a hurry traveling so I stopped in to this salon for a fill in. The service was the most professional and detailed I’ve had in a long time. The technician was very polite and understanding when I informed her I didn’t have time to get the nail color I was wanting, but I’m obsessed with the look of a natural nail because of her! My cuticles are impeccably healthy looking and the shape is more perfect than I was expecting it to be. I’m glad I came into this salon despite running out of time. Will definitely travel back to Baltimore just to get my nails done here. I just wish I could’ve tipped her more. Support this business they are amazing and they take their time to give you quality service!!

My girlfriend goes to light street nails a lot. We went there today and they had a new girl working there. It took her 2 and half hours to do her nails. Then they charged me 55 dollars. I will be looking for a new nail place to go. The new girl is ok but she takes to long .

Asked 6 nail places and none did nail designs. This was only place to take the challenge and they did amazing! 100% reccomend for nail designing. Im con ready thanks to them! Bronycon here I come!

I went in today for a gel manicure and pedicure. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the pedicure was pretty good. The main problem was my gel French manicure. I went in after having gel on my nails for 3 weeks, so they were fairly long and grown out. When asked by the lady if I wanted them cut down, I said yes. Now they are very short! She kept cutting and filing and cutting some more. I also wanted them round shaped which is what they were before she cut them. I have some that are more square, some round-ish and a few that are a mix of both. No consistency! The edges are very rough and uneven. The French manicure is also subpar, some thick others thin, the lines are not precise or even at all. I also have little black specks from the file stuck in the polish because she kept filing and shaping even after I washed my hands. I also have purple polish left on some nails where she didn’t remove all the old polish. Very disappointed to have paid $80 for this low-quality work.

Had a great experience with Light Street Nail Salon when I came to get my nails done for my wedding. Having gotten married in a different city than where I live, planning things like nails, hair, etc. can be a challenge. But I was so lucky to have found Light Street Nail Salon! The service was professional and my manicure and pedicure looked amazing! They even worked with me to incorporate some gold (one of my wedding colors) into my French manicure. It was just the right touch of uniqueness and looked great. So glad I found Light Street Nail Salon for my wedding day!

I visited for the first time this evening! I got a SNS dip manicure and a pedicure. Kim was my nail tech and she did an absolutely incredible job. She took her time, was thorough, and very sweet. I just moved to the area and I’ll 100% be back again!

The ladies were friendly and welcoming. They maintained proper social distance keeping the amt of customers at a minimal. Ensured all customers and employees wore masks

My manicure was great, nails lasted awhile. Unfortunate because I will not be back. Techs in the salon were very loud when speaking to eachother with side conversations, especially while working with customers. I didn’t have a relaxing experience. Good nail work, poor service. Sorry

I love this place! Really great work here. I have gotten a few pedicures here over the past couple of months and every one that serviced me are amazing! The only reason why I’m giving this review 4 instead of 5 is because the last pedicure I got last week, the tech got polish all over my toes! She did wipe the access off so at the end it looked okay, but it just seemed like she was too new to be polishing nails. I forgot to ask her name but she was younger with beautiful tattoos. Overall the pedicure was great. I’m sure she’s new and will get better over time.

Light Street Nail Salon was recommended to me a year ago and am sorry I didnt try them until October. I have been going every two weeks and I have not been disappointed. They are personable, knowledgeable and up on the trends. This is by far the best nail salon I have frequented in years. It is very small but I tried to find nail salons that are more personal and spa-like, but they have been just as bad as the stand alone nail salons. You will not be disappointed here. All of the techs are great!

I stopped in at this nail salon one day randomly while I was in the area, and ever since I won’t go anywhere else. I go really far out of my way from Silver Spring to get my nails done here because this is the only place I’ve been to where my gel manicure looks not only impeccable but lasts me FOUR weeks. Seriously. Everyone here is great but my favorite tech Amanda (the one with all the tattoos) hooks me up with the best gel manicures every time!!

Ive gone to a number of nail salons in the area, Light Street, hands down, does the best and longest lasting powder dip nails. Wont go anywhere else now.

I came in as a walk in plus this was my first time coming to this nail salon as well & I must say I had a great experience! Customer service was excellent, both nail technicians were very welcoming, the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning!

Ive been here twice and plan to come back.- Gel manicure lasted almost 3 weeks and a regular polish pedicure lasted over 4 weeks.- Gel manicure was $30- The ladies are both friendly and curteous of waiting time. They will help you find matching colors and are just overall very nice.- The place is clean: the tools they use are sanitized.- They do not push you to get additional treatments either.- It takes about an hour for a gel manicure and another hour for a pedicure.

I chose them over a neighborhood salon while coming from the Baltimore Harbor because of the reviews online however they charged me $110 for a gel polish change, foot polish change, powder color change and to color my 4 yr olds nails??? I pay $60 for a gel manicure pedicure and eyebrows at my nail salon 💅🏽. Good job but overpriced

In addition to great skill and service with mani&peds, the waxing is excellent. I used to break out on my upper lip, but the wax they use is gentle and I no longer have a negative reaction.

Came here on a trip. The gentlemen that did my pedicure used the drill filler on my natural toe nails. Not sure if that’s ok here no ones ever done that before, I feel it’s unsafe. None of the tools he used were cleaned, they all looked used like obviously used. There was no soap or AC. Idk why these technician try to hide when they accidentally cut you. It’s ok, acknowledge it and let’s clean it up and get me a bandage don’t keep it movin like it didnt happen.

I called in advance and asked if an appointment was needed. Was told no and to just come by. 5 minutes later I arrive and am greeted. The wait time was about 30 minutes and wanted to get a mani/pedi and eyebrows done. Well, Im 40 yrs old and need an experienced pedicurist for nail filing, cutting, etc. Was assigned a young girl probably a teenager and the job was not to par. 2 nails were not filed straight and no cleaning was done on the sides of the nails. I asked her to please make the nails even and to cut the corner of one nail since it was getting long and digging into my skin and to clean the sides. She said okay and only proceeded to gently file for a few seconds and then started to apply the nail polish. 😒 Needless to say I said to only use the clear polish and not the red since I had to leave. Didnt get the mani or eyebrows done. Paid 25 bucks for basically nothing. I wouldnt recommend this place.
