I was really looking for a nail shop that does the silk wrap, but hardly very few nail people do that anymore.Kelly not only gave me an initial set of silk wrap nails but has maintained the upkeep thats necessary. Kelly has given me phenomenal service ever since day one at Lawndale.Im a former nail tech myself, and I know whats good and whats not. Her nail work is exquisite.I think youll enjoy Kelly no matter what service you select.

It was my first time there and they probably gave me a beginner cos I had to complain a few times during installation. Just 3 days later, one nail fell off, 7 days later, another nail and so on. Plus, she left residue of the gel inside the nail (as seen in picture) and painting was badly done as well. On what premise was I treated that way, only the store employees/owner knows. One thing for sure is, I am NEVER going back there.

My go-to nail place for the past 5+ years! such a pretty & relaxing atmosphere, always amazing service, and every manicure I’ve had has always been such good quality and lasts longer than from other places. never disappoints :)

I got a pedicure and manicure at Lawndale Nail Salon. My nails look great! They were busy but worked quickly to get everyone seen without feeling like they were rushing. Very friendly, great service. They are appt only right now due to covid so call ahead.

Unfortunately I will not be going back here, I went to get a nail removal the tech continued to burn my nail beds with the electric file, we new full set was uneven. Acrylic was left all around the nail bed. Nails looked different length and shapes. And took a very long time. I will not be going back

I will not be back I asked for a gel polish change they took over a hour to complete and changed me $40 versus my normal $20. I dont appreciate shady businesses.

I just moved here 2 weeks ago and Ive already found my go to nail salon! Its a small place, but the people running the show here are very nice and inviting. I only have 2 complaints: 1) How uncomfortable the spa chairs are. They look comfortable at first glance but theyre like stone. 2) The nail tech didnt shape my big toe nails equally or similarly. Its a major difference.

I had an amazing experience getting my nails dipped there. She was so thorough and made sure that my nails looked perfect.

Great neighborhood spot. Kelly and Esther are wonderful. The color of my powder dips are great! I will be back next month!

It was my first time here and I had a very good experience. My usual place is in Timonium, but I was short on time today and thought Id give Lawndale a try, and Im glad I did. Jenny did a great job and I was most pleased with the results!

Had an amazing pedicure there, but if you’re going there to get dip nails, I would highly suggest reconsidering. It took me about an hour which is much longer than it normally takes and my nails are chipping 2 days later. She filed my nails so hard my cuticles bled and are now scabbed.

I went for a pedicure and my toenails were cut and filed to the quick. The white part of my toenails is completely gone and my toes have very little protection. I went because I wanted my feet to look nice before wearing sandals on a trip. Now Im uncertain that I can wear sandals because the nail bed is exposed and I dont want to contract an infection. I am disappointed by experience here. I do not recommend this nail salon.

My first visit for a pedi and SNS manicure. The BEST manicure ever. Rachel took her time. She was gentle. No roaring drills or blue lights everywhere. Awesome service!

Good clean place to get nails done. Small. Would reccomend calling ahead. Friendly staff who remembers regular and repeat customers. Warm towel and lotion service is added bonus.

I enjoyed my time here at Lawndale. My nail tech was Mia, and she did a great job! When I first walked in, I was greeted kind of awkwardly. I dont mean to throw race into it, but I believe they treated me awkwardly because a majority of their customers are White women, which made me feel a little intimidated. Im a Black woman, who just so happened to be sporting box braids today. The shop is located in an upscale neighborhood near an upscale university. One upscale woman eyed me carefully, as if she never saw a Black woman before! Mia started over on my nails because she didnt like the color I picked. Ill be honest, I didnt really like it either. We picked a chocolate brown color and I loved it! Even though my service took longer than expected, Mia took her time and was also pretty talkative, which is a good thing! She also never charged me for starting over. The price was the same, 45.00. They have a discount for college students. I would definitely reccomend coming here! Just look past all the people who may stare at you strange😂😂

Ive lived-in 3 cities and this lovely, unpretentious nail salon is the best Ive encountered. Clean, quiet, friendly people - top quality operators and a most relaxing experience.

I got a gel mani here, and although the actual service was good. My nail cracked after just a week. The gel polish isnt very thick. And the tips are already fading.

Nails didnt even last a week. I went here just one time. There was one specific worker at the salon who was very polite and friendly, who did my nails and she is the only reason Ive give this salon anything more than 1 star. The rest of the staff were not rude, but not exactly welcoming to me, despite being very nice to two other customers (who were not there for the 1st time). I called the salon prior to going there and asked about their prices. I was told lower prices on the phone for gel nails and then when I actually got there they revealed to me that one cant have long gel nails, only short (I dont know if this is true as this was only the 2nd time Ive gotten my nails done), and so once I got there I was told that they couldnt give me gel nails for $25, as I was told on the phone, but instead I *had* to get either SNS nails ($40) or acrylic nails ($40 or more). So I opted for SNS nails. The lady who did my nails was very friendly, although not too skilled, the nails were alright but not too good looking, there were gaps between the false nail and the end of my actual nail, two nails were crooked and one nail had a raised bump in the middle due to too much product being applied there. I understand that these are human errors and can be quite common when you get your nails done, however for $40 I dont expect these faults. Moreover, the reason why I wont be going back to this salon again, is that after paying $40 for these nails, they began to loosen within 3 days and 3 nails fell off within 5-6 days. 2 of them fell off while I doing something so basic as trying on a pair of jeans, which is honestly unacceptable. Subsquently, the rest fell off by day 8. For $40 I expected a better result and I expected them to stay on my hands for a minimum of 2 weeks. Ive gotten $40 nails before, they looked much better and they lasted for a month and would have lasted longer if I had not gotten them removed. Im disappointed. If you want to charge such high prices, your nails should stay on for a good period of time. These didnt even last a week.
