Stopped to get a manicure - dip powder to match my toes.I told the guy the color he picked out was blue not purple (like my toes), he insisted it was the correct color. At the end he agreed it was the wrong color. He then added a clear gel coat, purple gel coat, followed by another clear gel coat. The end result were extremely bulky and unflattering nails. I asked him to fix it, which he did by filing them down and a clear coat. I ended up with uneven, wrong color, and frail nails. I wasted 1.5 hours and 42 dollars.

The facility is nice here and it was cleaner than other salons. However, I don’t feel the ambiance or quality of service is that great. My tech kept having to help other guests with their service. I feel like I received only half of what I paid for. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and it’s hard to bend down and take care of my feet. I usually don’t care about the extra services in the more expensive pedicures, but this time I need those services though and I needed a good massage. My tech had to constantly leave to answer questions for other guests when their tech was unable to make them happy. So I feel like I got half the effort and that I was a burden even though I selected a more expensive service. I still tipped generously but I’m used to a different level of service from other nail salons.I f

I live an hour north, and work here. It was getting to be an issue getting home in time to get my nails done during the week, so I started looking for a nail salon close to my work that I could go to during my lunch. I went to a different one with a very negative experience and decided to try Envy Nails. WOW! I made a noon appt, and was a bit early but I was taken on time. Unfortunately, I didnt get her name, but I know she was new to the salon. She did a beautiful job on my nails and I didnt feel she took any short cuts. Sometimes dip nails can feel thick and chunky, but not these. I will definitely be making another appointment!

All of the ladies were very nice. However, the mask that they put on my legs was not rinsed off completely when we were done. And they left a lot of wax on me feet as well. My toes were not done correctly. I had to fix/ file a couple of them when I got home. And when I asked for a certain design they refused and tried to pressure me into sickers that I did NOT want... I am 38 weeks pregnant. And I sat in my car crying because I was so frustrated and upset about it all. I paid for the most expensive pedicure they offered and walked out with my legs and feel still so sore because the attendant had to keep leaving. I can barely reach my feet right now so trying to clean them myself was so painful.

San gave me exactly the design I was looking for and blew my expectations out of the water. She did the design exactly like the picture I brought in. I really appreciated that she helped me with decisions on my nails and gave me her input. Her attention to detail is amazing and its something Ive been searching for for years in a Nail Artist. She is truly talented. I cant stop looking at my new nails and I cannot wait until my next appointment. I am confident she can deliver any design. Book an appointment with San, you will not be disappointed!

I loved it here! The staff is so nice and friendly! I didnt have the language barrier issue here as it is with some salons. Very clean, fast, and awesome nail artist here!

Ive been going here for nearly 3 years. Ive tried other places and they just dont stand up to the work they do here.Tha and San are my favourite nail techs. But literally anyone is great. I do acrylics and tend to do colour powder. I always do designs or something creative. Tha and San bring visions to life.Becky makes waxing less painful and leaves my eyebrows looking fabulous.Pedicures here never feel rushed. And my toes stay beautiful until its time to come back for a fill or new set.

Does anyone read these reviews? This place was WEIRD. The water in my pedicure bowl was like a sad gazpacho at a Texas picnic. No bubbles. Just my feet in a puddle. The floor was dirty and so was everything surrounding it. The guy that did my pedicure must of just gotten into a terrible fight with his partner because he had the attitude of a 15 year old girl on her period. I asked he please scrape a bit more dead skin off my paws and he angrily said I HAD NOTHING THERE! excuse me sir I know my crusty feet when they are dry, there’s stuff there. Anyways he was rude and the pedicure itself was subpar, the gel didn’t even make it to the edges of my nails. I appreciate people in this line of work so I paid my dues and went on my way. Abandoning my sister who had so sweetly suggested we got get pedis. Sorry sister. I’ve had many a pedi and will gladly go to places where people are just a bit nicer and cleaner. Avoid!

This is the only place I will go to get my nails done. I’ve been going for almost 3 years now and the handful of times I have tried other salons I have regretted it. This place is just incredible. The owner is such a gem and Becky who always does my nails is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Seriously don’t go anywhere else, this is the spot.

My first time at Envy Nails and San did an awesome job with my design and nail shape. I also had a pedi cure that sweet and simple. Quick and professional. Staff works hard and keeps establishment very clean! Will be back!

Terrible. So I returned because I thought I had a good experience the first time but my second experience was awful. The person who did my nails was rude and laughing at me. She took a dang shoe off in the middle of doing my nails to let trash out on the floor and then just went back to doing my nails. She was unprofessional. Then my nails have chips in them. Not smooth. Like I’m really disappointed. Not coming back.

This has been my go to nail salon for a while. But after my experience yesterday I will never go again or give them my money. There were two people (together) that arrived before me. One of the people was in a wheelchair and couldn’t fully enter the establishment because they had these blank display stands on both sides of their entrance way which made it impossible for the person in the wheelchair to pass (uh hello ADA?). When I got there, the two people told me they’d been there for a while but had not been greeted and that the displays were in their way. I moved the display and they were finally able to reach the waiting area. When we got there, a man who worked there asked what service I needed. I pointed out that the two people were there before me. He said “I know” and STILL did not acknowledge them. I’m appalled that no one in the establishment greeted these two people NOR did they help them move the displays that were OBVIOUSLY impeding them from fully entering the business. I learned everything that I need to know about this business by the way they treated these people, who were visibly differently abled. Not only were the workers cold to me, they were even colder to the people who arrived before me. I will not give money to any establishment that visibly ignores customers, regardless of their ability.

Every Nail tech is so talented, I’ve honestly never been in a salon where I was impressed by the sets getting done next to me. They work Hard. Big s/o to @sansnails bc she did my so good. Salon itself is bland and when I first walked in I questioned their cleanliness. I had an appointment and after five mins another person came in that apparently had one with the same person at the same time and you could see the tech actively debating on passing me to another tech.... OVERPRICED. My manicure itself I’d give a 4/5 because it looked nice but the nail tech barely paid any mind to actually cleaning up my nails before starting the acrylic process. They were cute but I could get cute and better care for $40 less elsewhere. Spent almost $100 on a full set manicure I could’ve spent $50 on 🙃

I’ve been coming here since last Halloween and haven’t looked back! Yes I have waited to get my nails done; these people are kind DO NOT treat them like they are your servants, get there on time, period! I refuse to let anyone but Tammi, San or Becky do my nails. I am super rough with my nails and they always stay on and look shiny for a VERY long time. I get non stop compliments at work or when I’m out shopping.

This was my second time in here. Its so close to my house. I did gel french tip manicure and delux pedicure. $102 before tip. Yikes! nails are a little rough but I was ready to leave. I will defiantly say it is NOT CLEAN in there and hasnt been for a while. Every review that says its clean is lying! They have COVID practices in place such as plexi glass dividers but those are soooo dirty. I did not see anyone wipe anything down the entire time I was there and there were roughly 8-10 employees in there. They are very nice! The missing stars are for value, cleanliness, and quality.

Check Pricing Before unless you like to throw your money away on mediocre nails!!! This nail shop charged me $25 for a acrylic nail fill, $8 for my stones on 2 fingers both very acceptable. Then turned around and charged $25 for my painted French tip... that did not come out perfect for a $25 job! I still tipped for services. Today I find a pending charge for an extra $8.60 added to the bill. I definitely dont mind paying if the services are worth it, unfortunately my nails do not look like a $50+ fill in job!

Mediocre nails i got short black nails they where rushed and uneven I just ignored it because they were so short he would have to redo everything to fix it. Chunky and my full nail wasnt even covered on two nails and instead of adding acrylic he filed the extra off. Not worth it. But the pedicure was great older gentlemen did very great especially since my toe nails are small. Baul was his name very sweet and funny. Yes pedicure no to anything on your hands.

I came in for the first time to this nail salon as I saw their nails on their Instagram. I was excited since my previous nail tech moved away. Right away they were overcharging me with a full set at $100 but I went ahead and did the nails anyway just to try them out. It is apparent that the nails posted on the Instagram are done by one main technician, and not every technician can pull off detailing. The acrylic was done very thin and so poorly that these nails didn’t even last a week. I came in on a Wednesday and a nail had already broke by Sunday night. Very disappointed in my visit and will not be coming back.

Great atmosphere and energy! Really enjoyed my time being there. Ryan did a fantastic job on my nails and the ladies around me seemed to be regulars, which made the banter with the techs fun and everyone seemed so friendly. Great prices, great service. The space is a tiny bit cramped but they have an ample amount of techs and stations to ensure you dont wait long at all. Definitely will be returning as a customer.

Awesome place to get your nails slayed

I came to get my nails done here yesterday and I was reminded why I stopped coming here. There is no urgency or desire to do African Americans nails. I was the second person in the shop, arriving at 10:00 am. I wasnt seated until 10:32. Meanwhile, at least 10 people were seated before me. This has been my experience there multiple times which is why i stopped coming before. This place is NOT for minorities which is disappointing but NOT SURPRISING.

Amazing every time. All the techs are great and they make sure to not have you waiting around too long. Definitely recommend this place to all my peeps! 👍👍

It was great til I developed an ingrown toenail 36 hours later. Don’t think that’s a coincidence. Now I have to wake up early to pay a podiatrist to rip my toenail out, thanks guys

Walks in are accepted and the turn around is pretty good. The staff is super skilled and friendly.Note: this place is always busy. Seems like a popular location for folks, even those who dont live closeby.

The guy who did my nails here was very unprofessional in my opinion; he stopped and got up several times during my session to speak to coworkers and laugh with them, he was constantly checking his phone and watching videos, and also didn’t completely remove my last coat to move faster. While drilling, he hurt my nails a couple of times, which could have been easily avoided if he would’ve just removed my previous coat the proper way. I’m not coming back.

Ive gone to this salon many times and was always very happy with how my nails turned out. I recently went for a gel manicure and was very happy with my experience, however when I got home, my nails smudged and the polished literally could be pulled off. I went back the next day and explained what happened. They immediately took care of me and had my nails fixed and repainted. Excellent customer service. I will be definitely be coming back.

Not completely terrible service but my nails started to lift the next week. Nail tech also rushed through doing my set which is probably why my nails started to lift so soon.

I’ve been a customer of this salon for a year, typically a great salon experience. However, Leo did my nails for the first time on yesterday and I received terrible service. He was unprofessional, not attentive during my appointment, ripped off my previous set that was fairly new without my permission and attempted to glue a new acrylic nail without fully removing an old acrylic nail, and he did not ask what shape I wanted until he already began shaping my nails.He yelled at me when I calmly expressed I didn’t like my nails and asked him to not finish them. After attempting to express that I wasn’t trying to label him as a bad nail tech however, I simply did not like them Leo yelled in an unprofessional manner at me to shut up and get out of his chair along with other very rude slurs.This experience was very unprofessional and I will not be returning ever again!

Although usually very busy, it is worth it even if you have to wait a few minutes. I have tried several different salons in the area and by far this is the most professional. Ive stopped visiting other salons now because I know its not worth it.

I go to Tha and he is dope, well sometimes. I feel like they are overpriced on a lot of things and because of this I may have to find an alternative. Offer more perks to the regular customers.

Walked in this morning and was automatically greeted and asked what Id like done. Ive been here before to do my eyebrows and they do an awesome job. Went today to do eyebrow and full set and what can I say, Im extremely happy with the service. I think Ive found my new go to place.

I went to see Tha on 6/9/19 (its 6/22/19 now) and my nails have been falling apart for a few days now. Immediately after I left I took a picture and they looked grown out. I’ve been on a cruise and have been more gentle on them than usual (I work with my hands) and they are lifting. He tried to convince me to put tips on and I refused but he kept pushing, and I still refused. After that he had an attitude. He didn’t take off my previous color completely so it still shows underneath. After everything was applied, the filed underneath my nails, so now I’m probably going to have to cut them off since they’ll be so thin. The color is pretty, and my pedicure was fine (but a bit too expensive). Won’t be returning and won’t be recommending to others

Im not really one to write reviews the service was terrible, the nail technician got up several of times always got distracted and took several minutes just to get started doing my nails, i wouldnt like to go again and i wouldnt recommend this place.

This place is so dang close to my home that I really wanted it to be wonderful. I tried going multiple times to make it work, the best time it was just OK, the worst time they made my nails thin, brittle and so they wouldnt hold polish until they had completely grown out.

First and last time at this place. The nail tech rushed through my fill in and half polished my nails. As soon as he finished polishing my nails he told me he would be back to do my clear coat and proceeded to bolt out the door...he didn’t come back in for a while and the tech next to me stopped doing his clients nails to finish mine. The polish was so bad I just had them take it off and polish my nails clear. Never again!

I used to come here frequently and loved it but I have been very disappointed with the service and quality of work done here lately. Took two out of town guests last week and our no chip manicures were chipped within a week and one staff member was complaining about how busy they were and was very rough with one of my guests. Pretty disappointing - don’t plan on returning.

Terrible experience. She drilled my nails to save time, when I asked her not to she acted like she couldn’t hear me. When I told her she was hurting me she said it’s fine. I get my nails done every two weeks and tried this place out, never again. The worst experience I’ve ever had.

I got my nails done a week ago today and all but 4 fell off starting Monday. My two thumb nails broke as well. I was on vacation so I wasn’t even doing much besides dishes and vacuuming. The people were nice but sat me and my friend separately. The work station I was at was really gross, there was leftover glitter from a previous job that kept getting on my matte nails and the brushes weren’t clean and files had leftover of other peoples nails on them. One of my nails had a scuff and he tried to buff it out and then said “all done” and I had to ask him to file the scuff off. 2 stars because they did offer to fix them but I just wouldn’t go back since it is so gross and I’m immunocompromised. Would much prefer a refund.

I went here because I saw that they do nails with designs. I called ahead to ask if they could do a specific design and they told me yes they could and I could walk. The tech that did my nails was obviously not trained to do designs on nails. After he was done filling in my set of nails, he attempted to draw the design I wanted on my nail HORRIBLY....i told him never mind just give me a plain color. They could have easily told me no the person that does designs is busy but no they pretended they could do it so they could get business-THEY WERE MONEY HUNGRY. Also, my nails are thin as ever, i got them done ONE day ago and two nails have broken since then. i am furious. DO NOT COME HERE, there are plenty of nail salons in the austin area.

DO NOT GO HERE! There work is mediocre at best. They oveecharge and will scam you out of every penny. They treat their white customers better than their black and brown ones. They are rude and completely unprofessional.The first time I came, my nails broke within days of getting them done. The second and last time i came I waited an hour to be seen and was overcharged for nails that didnt even come out like I asked. UPDATE! ONE DAY after being overly charged $30 basic nail jewelry on three nails, theyre already coming off!!!

Hell, he custom mixed a powder color for my acrylics.I am constantly giving out his business card and think hes a goddamn star. Other people do too, Ive seen so many of my references toll through here to see him.If hes not there, see Leo.

Wish I could post pics. I did the sns dip nails, and the shiny top coat came off on most of my nails within 24 hours (I am writing this review 24 hours later in the airport on my way to a destination wedding and seeing how the nails have flaked so quickly.) disappointing. They may be good for gel or regular polish, but absolutely do not do sns dip nails!

I called ahead to see if they were busy for a pedicure they said no. I get there and no one was ahead of me so signed in and had a seat. Three ladies come in pick their color and was escorted to a chair. A couple comes in for a manicure the man and the female for a mani and pedi and they both were helped. I was still just sitting there. I dont like to make a scene so I left... WANT BE BACK!!!!

This place is a rip off! Went to get my nails done, full set, two nails have already broken off! The clear coat started coming off the next day! Im so angry! I dnt want to go back, why so they can rip me off again. I asked why it was so much, she told me they charge for shaping ur nails. I hope the place goes outta business, but it probably wont with the fees they charge! Never going back!

The work that they do is decent. I have been here twice for my manicure and pedicure and never been dissatisfied with my nails. However, certain members of their staff need training on customer service, and this is ultimately why I probably wont return. The man who worked with me today was very abrupt and rude with a woman who entered the salon ahead of me and asked about the wait time. He was very rushed when doing my nails, and even cut me with the implement he was using to remove the polish. It was very difficult to enjoy the service. The first time I visitted was a very pleasant experience, and the girl who worked with me was so patient and detailed that I decided to go in again, however my experience today was enough to make me not want to return.

I first went to Leo, although he did a good job the first time it was extremely painful and he cut me three times. The second time I went to him he did a terrible job, I could see the old color on the edge of my nails and they were too thick. I decided to go to Sans instead and he did make my nails look great but did not honor the appointment I made with him and made me wait a half hour. He was also very rude

As a walk-in, I waited 10 mins tops. My nail tech, Bob, was very kind and patient. I waited until the last second to decide I also wanted a pedi and Bob made me welcomed and well taken care of, they even gave me wine! Will definitely return!

They werent nice

This was the most painful manicure and pedicure I have ever experienced, despite my repeatedly telling the male nail tech that he was hurting me and to be less rough. He left the cuticles of 2 of my fingers and 1 toe bleeding. Actually, I now have 4 fingers with extremely red, swollen and painful cuticles. In addition, he used a metal callus scraper on my heels with so much pressure that he cut my right heel so badly that it was bleeding and afterwards I have not been able to put any pressure on it without extreme pain. The most egregious thing was that he used a nail buffer on my nails with the bleeding cuticles and then rinsed my blood off it with water and threw it back onto his work station with the rest of his tools. Now I wonder whose blood was on the tools, only rinsed with water, that he used on me? I had Christmas Eve and Day plans and no time to find another place, so I withstood the pain and just kept complaining, thinking it would be okay. Now I will be limping and my fingers will assuredly still be swollen and red tomorrow morning. And I have to hope that is the worst that happens to me from this experience.

Not that great of an experience didnt clean up my nails at all

It literally took the nail lady less than ten min to polish my nails, she did not do anything but put a clear coat then the polish. She didnt clean my cuticles or even put the polish completely on my nails. I should have kept my money and polished it myself at home.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday afternoon. It was awful. When the lady doing my pedicure was done she started draining the water with my feet still in it (no big deal) but then she started throwing the garbage from my pedicure (foil, cotton, plastic wrappers that the utensils came in) in there with my feet. I was appalled. Then like an idiot I still allowed them to wax my eyebrows and that lady burnt the crap out of me. I went back in there an hour later to tell them to turn the wax down and showed them my burns. All I got was an Oh. No apology whatsoever. Needless to say I will never go back. I have pictures but dont know how to post them. 😩

I had a go to nail salon that I loved in south Austin, but when I moved to central area I couldnt justify driving all the way to south Lamar for a manicure every two weeks, so I tried out Envy- and I found my new neighborhood go to. They are less busy than my last salon and really take their time on my nails but still get them done in a reasonable amount of time so you arent sitting there all day. I wish they had a bigger color selection for gels but their SNS and regular polish selections are huge and the gel still covers everything I want. Ive also found that their gel manis last longer than other places Ive tried in town. The salon is clean and super bright and conveniently next to a Starbucks. The prices are avg to higher than most salons like it but again, they work quick while still doing a good job, so its worth it.

Used to love coming here for pedicures and eyebrows. New staff isnt that good. They rush and do not do a good job. My pedicure a few weeks ago was not good at all. I couldve did it at home myself. Today my eyebrows just got done and it looked so bad that I refused to correct them. Ill do it myself.Wont be my regular go to anymore

Worst nail appointment ever. Asked for a fill and a full repair/replacement of one nail that broke. I had a new set two weeks ago with tips, so didnt need a new set. The tech refused to do anything but soak all the nails off...said he wasnt trained to do fills on SNS dip. Ive been doing fill on dip powder for over two years with only having to do a new set every couple of months. I didnt have time to go to another salon, so I let him take my nails off, but ended up with short, lumpy nails with dull spots. This tech appeared poorly trained and told me I should ask for someone else if I go back. I wont go back. I should have walked out when I felt uneasy about this tech.

So this is NOT the place to go if you care about your natural nails. I go in to see Leo. Ik. Everyone loves Leo.But clearly y’all don’t love your natural nails. I wish I had the opportunity to take a before picture so you all could see that he required I cut my nails down to nubs, just to achieve a length he found “better suited” with acrylic.My natural nails aren’t short tho. They were probably 2 weeks of growth away from this artificial bs.Cut cut cut. That’s their answer to everything with natural nails. Even this issue in the picture. As you can see, the fake nail was either too small, or he didn’t spread the SNS all the way out. Either way. I have a disconnect between my nail and the acrylic. I went back in to have them fix.I was told. Well, that’s bc your nail is too wide... let me cut it: and come at my with some scissors in the middle of a busy isle.So I left. I didn’t want to risk losing my finger or making it worse. Never in my life have I had an experience like this. How can you naturally long nails down to nubs. Apply glue and a plastic bag and then say. “Your nails were actually nice. But I will make them better”.....better for me comes with health. And I am genuinely scared for the health of my nails after visiting this place

The only part of this service I enjoyed was being able to sit with my mother and sister and receive the service together at the same time. We went at 10am when they opened and we were not greeted when we entered. I asked for 3 pedicures and was pointed in the direction of where to sit. The employees did not greet us or say anything to us the entire time. They walked away when they finished the service. No one asked if the water was fine or if we needed anything. My mother and I were knicked several times and expressed it to them and neither employee responded and continued to be rough. An employee cane back and asked if it was together or separate. The first time we were spoken to was to ask for payment. She did not tell us the total and she walked away with my mothers card. I got up to ask her the cost because I believe its courtesy to confirm price before you take payment. She went to ask someone and came back with the price written on a piece of paper. We paid and gathered our things without the help of anyone and left without anyone saying goodbye or thank you. A basic quick pedicure is $32. If you dont care about service or personable staff dont bother.
