Pure luck! when I moved to ATX I needed a new nail salon and was scared to try anywhere. I ended up at Diamond Nails and haven’t left! Sonny does my nails every 3 weeks and is great with every design I show him. I recommend making an appointment every time as they are very busy and the wait times can be long.

Nice salon/easy to get to location but service isnt the best. My tech was very rushed - my pedicure lasted 15 minutes. Polish could have been much cleaner, dead/dry skin should have been buffed or cleaned up, cuticles were barely touched. My polish actually looked cleaner before than after the pedicure. I was a little surprised she refused to help me put my sandals back on, I asked a couple of times she told me to figure it out myself. That part was a little strange.

My sister and I love Diamond Nails! Every manicurist we have had give SO MUCH attention to detail. They make sure we do not leave until we are satisfied! We do not get specialty nail designs, so we cannot speak on that experience. However, I have always gotten gel and my sister has always gotten a set, and they never disappoint.

First time going. Nice place and quick to get started. I had them take old nails off, so that took a while. I almost had a women do my nails that didn’t know how to do what I wanted. Thankfully, another women took care of me. & wow!! Completely ♥️♥️ many complements:) docking 1 star because I had to file the end of my nails because they were so sharp I could cut something with them.

I’ve been going to this nail salon for almost a year and am never disappointed. I get their paraffin pedicure with gel polish & long coffin acrylic nails every 3-4 weeks. The quality of the nails are always still in tact- even if I go longer than 4 weeks. They always fulfill my vision of designs and colors.Every time I go, they are wearing masks, using gloves, and maintain space between customers.I love going here.

I really like this nail Salon and have been coming to it for a few months. My only issue is as amazing as the color variety is, there is absolutely no organization to it. When you have that many colors and it’s not organized it makes it extremely overwhelming and difficult to choose a color. They have different holiday nail ideas scattered throughout all the rings and similar colors aren’t grouped together at all.

I got a mani and pedi. During my pedi, my foot was burned with a hot stone. I proceeded to do my nails, they’re really pretty. Immediately after I left, a nail broke so easily. I went back to fix and 2 more immediately broke with doing basic things like opening a bag and unlocking my door at home. Don’t get me wrong the work is beautiful, however the person was rushed and just the quality of my nails wasn’t the best, especially after paying $110. I just wanted my nails to last longer then a few days for that amount of money.

Beautiful salon! Clean, well-lit, reasonable prices, friendly and accommodating staff. She did a lovely job on my gel manicure. The atmosphere is very nice. Ive never had to wait even when they are busy. Five stars!

I’m not one to leave reviews unless I feel it’s deemed necessary.. I went in and got the Lisa the nail tech. She was sweet but seemed to be in a hurry.. That’s because she was. She had appointment after me- towards the end of the our session, her next appt came in and asked how much longer it would be. She said no longer than 5 min when I know I it should’ve taken longer( my nails are sore bc of how gafar she was filing.) My sister and I in at the same time and I finished before her. After our appointments I with my nails feeling rough and sharp on the underside

Salon is nice and clean, have had several different nail technicians and they always do a good job. But I think their prices are a bit high. I paid $72 dollars for a manicure and pedicure yesterday... seems a bit steep. I left in a hurry and don’t ask questions, but now I am second guessing. Did they make a mistake, or did they add tip automatically?! I also added tip on top of that cost. Simple mani/pedi should not cost that much!

Great service, fully staffed, and detailed oriented. Walk ins welcome and pricing is great. Waiting area a bit small but the waiting is not long at all.

I have done my nails here the past 3 times and I really do love the way they come out!! Ask for Lisa for acrylics she’s really great!

Dont waste your time or money. I left disappointed when I asked for the simplest manicure - short, almond nail, 1 nude color! I even had a photo with me for reference. My manicurist huffed & puffed when asked if he could file 3 of my nails a little more because they were clearly crooked and still too long. I left with long, oddly shaped, thin, see through nails and my cuticles were not trimmed at all.

This nail salon is absolutely amazing. I always come in with bitten nails and they fix my nails good as new. When I am in the chair, I look around at the other nail techs and they always have fantastic nails on their clients. Reasonable price, great value. I highly recommend this nail salon!

Truly disappointed... I walked in this nail shop today and was stared at rather than greeted, 10 mins later the owner walks up to me and asks me what I’m getting done. I tell him and he tells me the wait is a few more minutes. Another customer walks in, she’s promptly greeted by the owner and he asks her the same question- she literally tells him the same thing I said I’m getting, but he immediately seats her, and then tells me to come to a chair. I get to my chair and realize I’m still waiting to be serviced, meanwhile the lady that came in after me is quickly serviced. I waited another 5mins just to make sure I wasn’t really experiencing this and I clearly was. I got up to leave and as I was leaving I informed the owner as to why I was leaving and his exact words were “yeah ok you can go” I definitely will not be coming back here, the prejudice is real at this nail shop maybe because I’m following the CDC’s guidelines while indoors or maybe well you know 🤷🏾‍♀️! Anyway I’m too Blessed to be stressed! So I’ll find a better location who shows their Class by respecting All People! Especially those who walk in their business. God Bless!

Lee and Jill always do a great job! Ive seen other people review and say that their nails look great but the customer service was awful, but Ive only received awesome customer service from the nail techs and front of house! Just communicate what you need and theyll make it happen. If you arent vocal about what you want from your visit and dont like your result, thats the clients mistake not their nail techs. Keep up the amazing work Diamond Nails!!

Very disappointed. Left with a scratch and bubble on my nail, and they didn’t fix it nor care. I could have done a better job if I did it myself.

My go to nail salon. I rarely have to wait when I arrive, always quick and quality services. Prices are normal so not cheap but not overly pricey. They’re well staffed, friendly, clean and have good Covid protocols in place including plastic shields between you and your technician. I always see them doing very complicated and beautiful nail designs when I’m in there which isn’t my thing but recommend if that’s what you’re looking for. You won’t be disappointed.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!! I made an appointment for 3 friends and me to get mani pedis for a wedding we were attending and we show up for our appointment and they say they’re not seeing anyone else that evening because they had a big group come in. I explained that we called a few days prior and made an appointment for that time and date and they said they see we made one but they couldn’t take us because they accepted the group - leaving us to find a new place to take us at 630 at night the day before the wedding. It was highly unprofessional and they are not a trustworthy establishment- bring your business else where.

I’ve had both manicure and pedicure here..first few times were fine until I had a poor experience with a Gel manicure. I came back three times to have my nails repaired. I then attempted to call and speak with someone about it. I asked if I could just have the SNS instead because the gel kept bubbling like it wasn’t cured or hardened correctly.Lisa answered and just repeatedly said “no refunds no refunds, good luck.”

They always do a great job! I get dip each time, and they always do a great job removing the old coat without taking too much of my nail. It’s hard to find a shop with good ombré skills, but this is the place I swear by. Only downside is that the wait can be a bit long, but that is to be expected (especially on the weekend).

Love this place!! I was struggling to find a nail place and then a friend suggested coming here. Lena (sorry if spelt wrong) did my nails. She didnt talk much and she worked quick. I was worried at first but my nails turned out perfect. No complaints. I only gave 5 stars because its $45 for dip nail and Ive been to other places were its $40. Its a little pricier, but worth it.

I saw Lisa for a gel manicure and she seemed extremely rushed and pushed me to have acrylic done because they were “better”. After I declined, she seemed to not care at all how my nails turned out. My nails peeled off the next day.

I was asked to make a appointment to receive service. I was there the day before I arrived at 6:00 pm. I came back the next morning because I didn’t get what asked for (chanel design with a gold strip). When I asked the nail tech to fix my design like the picture, their attitude changed. I even used to google language translation! I thought it would help to better the understand the conversation. Sometimes the nail tech will do designs their way. I have visited this place before in the past, I was very satisfied. I think the “language barrier” has a lot to do with service. Some people come in daily to receive good service and they don’t even know how important that person might be, you don’t have to be famous!!!!! I deal the public everyday this experience was unprofessional. I have pictures of before and after I went someone else, and cheaper! SELFIE NAIL AND SPA, I been with them over 4 years. DIAMOND NAILS is close to my house.

I have been going to Diamond Nails for nearly 3 years and the service has declined drastically. They have very poor customer service and the management is very rude. Despite the location being convenient to me, I will not be going back. If you are seeking a clean environment during COVID-19, this is not the place. They do not wipe down areas, there is no hand sanitizer provided to guests anymore, social distancing is not in place and employees remove their masks and do not wear gloves while dealing with customers. Moreover, they keep the place so packed due and see walk ins over appointments so your appointment is not honored.

Got a french pedicure and it looks awful. So disappointed. It was a treat from a friend and she tipped the woman $20 before seeing what it looked like. Such a rip off. Never again.

Got here by mistake but left very pleased! It was my first time getting this pink white ombré dip powder full set and Lena did a hands down amazing job. This woman is a perfectionist and took her time excelling her work. She showed me different examples of a variety of powder colors so I would see it done realistically before picking one straight from the jar which was so helpful. Plus I’m pretty sure she took a knot or two out of my back with the complimentary massages they’ll do for you while you wait for the top coat to dry. Overall very satisfied. I feel like a new woman!

I was there a few days ago for a gel pedicure. It was done by a guy and he s really rushed his work. He finished my pedicure much faster than other girls there. I still have a lot of untrimmed cuticles and the gel already started to peel off. If anyone every go there, dont let the guys do you.

Been coming to Diamond Nails for years. They are my go-to nail place in Austin. The nail techs are always friendly and listen to what I want. I have even found a few favorite nail colors from them after asking for suggestions a few times. They do great work and I always highly recommend this place.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years with usually nails in very bad shape.Every manicurist I’ve seen does a very good job. The service is professional friendly and knowledgeable.The massage at the end tops it off for me and I leave feeling beautiful and pampered! I have gone to diamond nails for a little over two years. I call ahead and request Le. She is the best nail technician - she is a perfectionist, always makes sure that I’m happy with nails and pays close attention to detail! Always gives great massages!

My nails look great, other than she cut my cuticles a couple of times.They were very busy, appointment recommended for sure.The bill at the end didnt match the price on the menu, maybe they add a tip automatically. I tipped on top of that, but left a bit confused.

I wanted to love this place, the work is good but they ripped me off. I went in for filling and they charged me $50 which could be a whole new set based off their prices. So I just paid and never going back.

Great food. We loved playing cards in the lounge in the back while we waited. Once we were seated, the menu was explained well, and the drinks and food were very well executed. The only thing we didnt love was the eggplant appetizer with spicy peanut sauce. We love spice, but I think it was over sauced, and therefore over spiced. Overall a great spot Great service.

By far the rudest place I’ve ever been. I didn’t have time to make an appointment at my normal nail salon so I tried Diamond Nails since it was close. I walked in and a man was ringing up someone at the register. Someone walked in behind me and he said “Sign your name.” Thinking he was speaking to me, I stepped up and he said “No. her. Not you.” So I stepped back assuming he would help me when he was done ringing up the other woman. He finished, looked at me and walked away. Not a word said. I waited 5 minutes and left. I have never treated like I was lesser or not worth a service until here. This is ridiculous. Do not give them your money. If you do not look like you have money, they won’t serve you.

We arrived and it was fairly busy so we signed our name to a list. My daughter wanted a full set and I needed a pedicure. I got seated within about 15 min and started being worked on. My daughter however was shuffled from chair to chair with no tech starting on her at all. 3 other ladies got seated and work started on them before a tech started on her nails, she is 16. The excuse that I was given was that her nails were going to be easy and fast while others werent....

They told us the was no wait when we arrived, they then had us wait close to 30 minutes with our feet soaking in cold water.The manicure and pedicure seemed very rushed. The lady helping me made me take off my own nail polish and didnt seemto care how I wanted my nails shaped. She did what was fastest for her. When I corrected her, I was met with attitude and annoyed whispers to her neighbor.They cut my friends cuticle, and didnt let her fix it when they clearly werent stopping the bleeding. They then used super glue and nail polish to fix the bleeding.My manicure and nails started chipping later that day and my pedicure started chipping 2 days later.Overall, a bad experience. Would NOT recommend.

The workers were rude, the polish selection was limited. Multiple colors (powder and gel) were shown as options but were unavailable. They also do not have straight tips. They refused to answer pricing questions with actual numbers, just kept saying “oh it’s extra extra extra”. My friend came a few days ago and had a completely different pricing than what I was being told. Would not recommend!

I visited Diamond nails with 9 other bridal party members the day before the big day. When I called to make the reservation they said it would be no problem and they would accommodate 10 ladies. We were disappointed when we arrived to find they had scheduled another bridal party just 15 minutes after our scheduled time. It was complete chaos. None of the ladies were sat together during their service and we were all done a completely different times. It basically seemed like there was no reason to make the reservation as they just took clients as they came in regardless of our appointment. Additionally we brought along snacks and drinks (with their prior approval of course) and when we arrived they had us set up the food and drinks on chairs in the waiting area nowhere near us. Just a mess. The nails were fine, price was good, but the service was terrible.

The only reason I give this place a one star is because I cant give a negative. I called a week in advance and they were accommodating after an hour being of me arriving on time. The lady Ann was very rude and very rough. I snatched my hands from here a few times because she was too rough. I tried to overlook it and came back a few weeks later. I came in and was told it would be over an hour wait because the man that was available didnt touch other men due to his culture. He only male he would touch is his father. I thought this was a way of saying something unspoken. So none the less, Im writing this review not out of anger but awareness that prejudices still live in Austin Texas.

This salon has the worst service Ive ever experienced. Just for clarification, it is the owners who are the problem. There have been several occasions where they have sat me in a chair for a pedicure, and left me for well over 30 minutes. Serving others who came in after I did. I would give zero stars but that is not an option. THIS PLACE IS ALSO NOT GAY FRIENDLY.This last time I walked got up and walked out the door extremely frustrated, and found a new place in the same shopping center next to hobby lobby. I am currently at Austin Venetian nails getting pampered.If your looking for a great nail salon do NOT go to diamond nails. You will only be disappointed

Clean and descent. Friendly and helpful staff all in uniformed matching color shirts. What I did not like was one ladys sales tactics while Im getting my nails done. She asks if my child wants hers done with shellac, because it lasts longer. Then the same lady trying to talk me into getting my eyebrows done, because she does a good job, and its only 10.00 more. After many no thank yous, she gives me a mad look. During the nail process, the manicurist kept wiping away the edges off with her own thick nails, that hurts guys! But I didnt say anything because, well, I didnt want to be rude. This was my personal experience and its so close to where I live I may come back. I liked the final results that much.

Standard pedi for $30. I have no complaints. This has much more of a spa feel than similar nail salons that have Man Vs. Food marathons running on three jumbo TVs.Good service and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely go back for another pedicure.

I got a pedicure here. It was very busy late on a Saturday afternoon. I was very glad I called earlier for an appointment. Im very pleased! Its very clean and reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly.

They do good nails here and Ive been coming for almost 2 years but today one of the staff members basically called me a liar after I showed her that my fivestar account had taken points off my account twice when I hadnt redeemed them. I understand that nobody can get into my account without my number but clearly there was a glitch. She handled it poorly and I wont be returning.

And the only reason I come back is I finally found a lady who does awesome nails and who is very kind. Unfortunately she works at a place where the owners are super racist and plain rude. I am gay woman and I have watched them skip me and put other straight people first. My partner and I would come together and the service of how we were treated is ridiculous even to the point the other customers would say I think they were here first. This is Austin, South Austin. We should not be treated this way anywhere, especially here. I have had my fair share of arguements with the female owner and her husband. They always try to short the 5 star points. It is plain how NOT GAY FRIENDLY this place is. Finally a new place opened right around the corner next to hobby lobby called Austin Venetian! 1. Its way nicer 2. We were welcomed offered champagne, water, coffee. Diamond nails NEVER offered us anything we had to ask for water. 3. Given fresh fruit while getting a pedicure 4. Way better packages and services.I will never go back to this place again. I hope if equality matters,to you as well, you will try the other nail salon on the other side of the parking lot.

If you are looking for consistent, guaranteed quality I would highly recommend Diamond Nails. Every nail technician is very talented, and welcoming. They have a huge selection of colors and products. Walk-ins or appointments never wait long despite how busy they get.

Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience with this company I was told by a coworker that she saw a lady name Lena and she did a really great SNS manicure on her so I called about 2 o’clock today and made an appointment for 4 PM with her for an SNS manicure I arrived at 4:03 pm because I was trying to park my car and find a spot and I was told by the man at the front desk that she couldn’t see me because she took another person in front of me because I was “late” 3 mins is apparently the cut off. I even attempted to call and say that I was going to be a couple of minutes late but the phone was busy so it just rang and rang with no voicemail. I was told it would be another 20 minutes because they essentially gave my appointment away even though I called and specifically requested her only. You guys have lost my business and I will not be back very disappointed

These people dont understand time .. you can make an appointment for 5 P.M. and they may not see you until 6 PM which can really screw up a persons day.

I used to enjoy going there, stopped when they stopped having hot water service and didnt apologize or discount. tried again recently and the lady made me bleed and caused a blood spot under one of my nails that took months to grow out. and they charged twice the price they had advertised on their website. while i was there a customer came back in (after thinging about her experience that afternoon) to demand a refund and they refused. beware. whatever happened there made it a place to avoid.

Update: removing 2 stars...decided to give this place another shot since its so close to my apt. The SNS had cracks after just 1 week. Went back to get it repaired and everyone just kept walking around. I waited for 15 mins only for them to put a clear coat and send me on my way. Bad customer service. Ive had ombré before which showed much more of a gradual contrast. I feel these were done just to be done. No art out into them. Really upset they didnt have the Swarovski crystals. It was fairly clean. Customer service was good. A little pushy as far as extra services but I find that typical of any nail salon. If I lived locally I would go back.

June is the best. She listens to what I want and gives me ideas for when I cant make a decision. She is fast but doesnt rush. Ask for June!

There were mosquitos breeding in the water of one of the bamboo plants in the corner, you could see the larvae swimming around. My mani and pedi were fine, but they didn’t start my friend and I at the same time so we were off sync when we had come in to spend time together, probably not going back.

The pedicure tubs were clean (pipeless and they use bags which I like) and tools are supposedly not reused. The girl who did my nails was nice and did a good job. She tried to upsell my pedicure right away ($30 is plenty thanks) and made me pick a different shade after she had started my pedicure, but overall it was enjoyable. Oh but dont bother making an appointment or trying to pick your nail girl - they dont even write appointments down.

Ive been a Pedicure customer here for years, overall they are competitively priced and do a good job. More importantly, this location is always clean and they use plastic disposable liners in the pedicure spa chairs!

I have been coming to this nail salon for over a year and I am in complete shock how they treated me my last visit. For starters, the review are accurate when it comes to the wait times - I always made sure I was there right when they opened so I did not have to wait for hours in cold water to finally get my pedicure!As far as how my last visit went - two days after I just spent close to $100 on SNS and pedicure a couple of my nails were cracking (this is partly due to the fact that they rush through your services just to get to the next person waiting to get their nails done) I showed up to get my nail fixed in which the lady told me that a couple of them were just the top coat crinkled that they didnt need to be fixed (if a customer just spent a lot of money on nails and has been a customer for a long time - why not just fix the crinkled top coat so that I am happy with the service?) As she was fixing the nail that was cracked about 4 other people walked in and needed pedicures (this is were the service became rushed so she can get to the next person) there was a black dot in the WHITE powder on my nails and instead of just starting over she kept putting multiple other coats on the nail to so that it covered up the black spot (which now I have one nail that is much thinker than the rest of my nails. After my nail finished drying - I pulled out cash to tip her and she mentioned the service was $5 - I couldnt believe that they were actually going to charge me to fix a nail that was messed up because of them in the first place. When I mentioned that I dont know why I have to pay if I just got my nails done two days ago the owner said in front of the other customers She just asked to pay and now doesnt want to pay - its just $5. I gave the lady $5 and just walked out in complete shock that me being upset was now broadcasted to the entire salon.I left very upset and wanted to write a review right away blasting the salon for how unprofessional they just were to me - instead I decided to call the salon and ask to speak to the owner to talk about how I felt. The owner answered the phone (who I know she is owner because she has done my nails 10+ times and always talks about her salon and her restaurant to me) and told me that the owner wont be in till next week. I said are you the lady in the white shirt and she said yes and I said I know you are the owner because you have done my nails a dozen of times and I dont appreciate the way you just treated me. Instead of apologizing to me .. Her response was JUST DONT COME BACK TO HER SALON!!!! WOW JUST WOW ... NOT ONLY WILL I NOT GO BACK THERE EVER AGAIN .. I WILL MAKE SURE TO LET ALL 10 OF MY FRIENDS WHO I TOLD TO GO THERE NOT TO GO EITHER!!!!!NAIL SALONS ARE A DIME A DOZEN .. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE AND THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING ... NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS !

Sadly, same experience as other customers. Calling hours ahead for an appointment means nothing at Diamond Nails. I’m fine with businesses who do not accept appointments and service customers on a “first come - first served” basis. On the other hand, I telephoned at lunch to make appointment for three (3) padi/mani at 6pm. Arrived at 5:45pm to have time to select colors, waiting until 6:30pm watching every single customer waiting and two walkins be seated in twice the number of tubs for the staff working. At that point we left as we were on tight schedule. Please don’t take appointments or make the reservation if you have no plans to honor the time slot. Unfortunate experience.
