Went in to get a simple red French tip and got screwed. The technician had no idea what she was doing. The shaping was horrendous, asked for square and got something bulky. She rushed through my nails . And when I explained this isn’t at all like the reference picture, the manager tried to make excuses. Did not offer a discount or anything. Half their technicians don’t know what they’re doing. Had to get my nails done right after at another establishment because I was so dissatisfied. The pictures show it all. **LAST PIC IS NOT MARQUE’S WORK, REFERENCE PHOTO**
NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!I did my nails on Friday and now one was broken yesterday (Sunday) so I decided to come in today to the repair not only they were rude they didn’t even bother to stand and come talk to me they just kept doing what they were doing and all they said they were busy and about to close!!!I understand that they were about to close but after spending $87 on these nails that didn’t even last for 3 days I believe someone should have come to the front desk and talked to me! I do not recommend this nail salon If you want to do your nails go somewhere else!!! The disrespect is on another level if I could give 0 reviews that’s what I could have given this place!
I have been using this shop since May. My original nail tech left so I was put with the next available lady that can do acrylic.I instantly knew it was a bad idea when the language barrier set in. I am specific with what I want, I always have pics, and I’m a great tipper due to the extra time it takes with the designs I choose. Tracy was so unprofessional I left with 1 nail off and the rest partially filed. She spoke to everyone so loudly in her language that everyone in the salon turned and looked in our direction. It was so humiliating and this was all over the shape/length of my nails. I would have continued to use this salon bc I dread finding a new nail tech for this reason alone!!! You can get good service, they have a huge selection of colors, but the way I was treated as a paying customer makes all of that go away when you are left humiliated standing there not knowing what to do next. They continued to speak to each other in Vietnamese as I stood there wondering what my next move was. I quickly realized walking out and finding a new salon was my only option. Do not waste your time ladies.
I stumbled upon Maque when I was eating lunch nearby. The ladies are so friendly and do such a great job. Im so happy I found them!
Loved my experience and my nails. The decor was beautiful and the nail techs were amazing.I got a fill, which cost me $35 with a tip. I’ve had fills that cost as little as $15 but the quality was definitely not on par with Maque. The staff was friendly for the most post but I always take issue when someone is speaking a foreign language to the tech that’s performing my services. It always feels like there’s an inside joke and I don’t like that feeling. While the aforementioned experience did occur during my visit to Maque, it didn’t dampen my experience by much.I was offered a beverage when I entered. The entire staff was masked and used patricians for staff and customer safety. They cleaned thoroughly before, during and after my services.I will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
I went in on Friday 1/8/21 to have a SNS manicure (dip powder). The man doing them used a bottle labeled “top coat” the entire time, usually there’s a “base coat” and then a “top coat” bottle that you use at the end. I did not mention it because I assumed the salon had refilled the top coat with base coat... well I am now thinking that he used top coat the entire time. I left the nail salon and my nails seemed fine but 1 hour after they all started breaking... getting cracks on every nail and the cracks went through the entire SNS layer. I went back to the salon on Monday 1/11/21 to have them fixed, I assumed they would file them down and then redo them since there was an issue with each nail. The woman doing mine only filed the top coat off (shiny layer) then did another layer of the dip powder... this did not work but since they didn’t charge me I did not say anything because at this point I didn’t feel like there was anything that would help. So now I am 6 days after the “repair” and all of my nails are chipped and breaking again. The top coat has cracks all in it and the original cracks are there with newer cracks present everyday. Also each time I’ve gone they have made my cuticles bleed.. which I feel isn’t sanitary. Especially with covid going on right now -_-I would not recommend this place, or maybe just the two people who originally did my nails and then fixed them... since they both did not do a good job as my nails now are cracked and chipping again. :(I prefer to wait 2-3 weeks before getting them done again but now it appears I will need to get them done sooner because they are breaking more and more everyday.
Great nail salon! I really enjoy going here and all the nail techs are super nice. I have recommended this place to friends and they love it as well.
They really need to treat their customers better! They don’t care how long you wait, even if you have an appointment. You feel rushed the whole time.If you have a concern or questions about your nails they will ignore you and move on to another customer. If you want to change anything, forget it!!Total disappointment! Poor quality! I will not ever go back.
Huge let down in serviceI did not write a review when I had a bad experience here a few months ago. But now friends of mine had a similar experience. The way you treat people you should be ashamed of yourself! Very unprofessional of the owner to hang up on a customer. Busy or not, you take a few minutes to hear someone out. Not here, They just hang up on you! The technician cut her cuticle so bad. Would give Zero stars if I could.
I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you to Kim and Cindi for a wonderful experience.
******* Do not go here *******Owner was very rude- so much for customer service!! They seem very Over booked, you will wait at least 45 minutes from your scheduled appointment. You wait another 15 minutes at least, after they seat you! They have no concern for your time! They don’t care if you are unhappy with the service -
Ive been coming to Lan for a couple of years now and she is the best!! My appointment is always right on time and my pedicure always looks great!
Had an appt for 3 pm and my pedicure didnt start until 3:30 pm. The staff was very nice and the place is very beautiful. The massage chair was so comfortable. My pedicure came out perfect. Just be warned that there is no social distancing at the dryers.
This place is quite catchy at first glance, and even when you enter and see the layout and decor.. after further viewing the details of it all, I wasnt as impressed. The ladies rendering the services are WAYYYY over booked and jumping from person to person just to have them seated.. but, then leaving unattended for tooo long. The service itself was Good and the ladies were pleasant and kind. Expect to pay higher end and have to wait extra time beyond your appointment to receive what you pay for.
Don’t waste your time or money -You wait at least over an hour with a appointment-Very unprofessional- Poor quality!! They don’t care about your concerns - Owner doesn’t care either -They just move onto the next client without acknowledging any wrongdoing on their behalf.Won’t spend another dime in an establishment that does not care about or acknowledge their own customers
Nice relaxing experience and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Kim & Helen were excellent! Kim took great care of me & Helen had my beautiful girlfriend. Helen was very funny & Kim was very helpful!
Last week was my first negative experience here. Overall, I still love this place but will definitely stay away from the technician that did my pedicure.
I love this nail salon. Helen always does such a great job on my nails and she is so sweet & funny! The staff is always polite from the moment you enter to the moment you leave.Out of all the nail salons I have been to this is the only one Ive returned to. Ive been going for about a year now and they never disappoint.
Love this place!! So very clean and nice and the staff are super sweet and friendly! 💗
This was my first time getting my nails done at Maque nail bar and my experience was amazing! My nail tech, Helen, was super sweet and did anything that I wanted. I will definitely come back here because of the amazing service. I got my nails done for prom and they’re soo pretty! If you come here then request Helen!!
Lan is absolutely the sweetest and most professional technician ever! This is the cleanest salon and I’ve been to a lot and it’s always immaculate. You will love lawn and this whole experience
Environment was pleasant but I was charged 52 dollars for a refill and polish change. When I asked what the 22 dollar upgrade and 5 dollar upgrade charges were for I was told both charges were for the polish I chose. Seemed a bit pricy for a polish choice. I definitely feel as though I should have been asked if these charges were okay before moving forward. On top of that the color was not what I asked for initially and the service tech seemed annoyed when I asked her to shorten my nails and make adjustments.
Cute salon. I’m not very impressed with the service. $35 for a very basic gel manicure. (cut cuticles, gel polish, lotion rubbed on your hands and arms to finish)There was a nice selection of colors andthey will serve you drinks if you value that sort of thing...The experience felt rough and rushed and I didn’t feel comfortable the entire time. I couldn’t wait for the service to be over. The tech was rough with cutting my cuticles and was even more aggressive with “massaging” lotion onto my hands and forearms. The paint job was poorly executed :(The tech left gel color (pink) from a previous manicure on the sides of my fingers and simply painted over it and also left excess polish on my finger tips.Overall, I would not return. Again, the salon is cute but I could not justify going back for an over priced and mediocre service/experience. It wasn’t the worst, but it definitely wasn’t the best.
This place is absolutely amazing! I came in less than an hour before closing time trying to schedule an appointment and they fit me in. I knew I was doing tips and dip powder which takes longer, but they still fit me in. Paul did my nails and Im in love with them. He shaped them just how I asked and was helpful deciding between two whites that I couldnt pick. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get their nails done.
Horrible!! Went twice, both times you wait over an hour from your appointment time.Technician cut my daughter finger! Owner isVery Rude! Never again!Save your money and go somewhere else!
I just left the nail bar after my first and last visit! I only went in for a pedicure but was mortified with my results. I brought this to the attention of the attendant at the front desk prior to leaving. I informed her that I just wanted her to see that my pedicure was less than sufficient. However once I got outside, my daughter and I were so upset to see the pedicure in the sun. I will have to completely remove the polish for fear of embarrassment when wearing open or closed toe shoes (yes it is that horrible). I am not saying that all of their nails techs are bad, however the much older, thin frame female that I had was!!!
Disappointing and overcharged. I had a total of 3 people work on my simple manicure; saw that they WROTE the charge for $35, but was then charged $40 at the counter. There was no partition provided for COVID protection at the seat they had me at, others had a partition. The nail tech for my daughter constantly got up in the middle of the session to tend to the front counter, then hurried through the set. The powder is rippled and does not look good. My daughter came home and shaped her own nails and picked all the gunk out from around fingers. She was not happy.
Honestly I wanted to give them 3 stars but I feel like its important that people see this and know the risk. The quality delivered at Maque is phenomenal, and the people are very nice. Ive been going with my friend for about three months now but I think I wont be going anymore. EVERY time I get my nails done, the technician (Ive had 3 different ones, its happened with each) has filed my skin to the point of bleeding. I say something, and it keeps happening. I went yesterday and today my hands still sting when I wash them because of the cuts around my nail beds from the file and the nail file power tool thing they use. (Sorry Im not sure of the actual name of it.) I kept going back at first because despite the pain, like I said, the work is beautiful. My nails are strong and they last a minimum of 3 weeks with hard work. If you feel like the risk is worth it, go! But I dont want to shed anymore blood over it. Its not worth the pain.
These ladies made my day today, especially Helen!! She was so sweet and remembered details about me from a few months ago when I last visited (and she wasnt the one who did my nails last time!) - and even sat with me after we were done and showed me some other colors she thought would look good on my skin tone! I have been going to salons to get my nails done for 15 years and have never had a nail tech show me colors they think would look nice on me. I have been going to this place since they opened as its right down the street from me. Every tech that has done mani/pedis for me here has always done a great job and their staff have always been professional and kind to me, so I like coming here and I will continue to come here! Also - this is important - they are CLEAN, they temperature check their staff everyday and require you to sanitize your hands before you sit down for an appointment. You can feel safe coming here.
After watching a YouTube video about how great this place was, I had to try it out for myself. I got a full set of SNS. Benjamin was the technician that did my nails and he was wonderful. He is very detail oriented which I love. The color and outcome was fantastic. Plus, the added massage was great. I will say I wish I was offered something to drink but honestly no biggie. The salon itself is stunning and modern and i absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend and will be going back for a fill when needed.
This was my nail salon. I loved it until I went to get my nails done, and mind you, I picked a pink nail polish. The nail tech told me it turned colors which I was fine with. But when I asked her when was it going to stay pink she said “once you wash your hands.” So I said ok. Well, I washed my hands which they stayed yellow?! It was called sunrise, or some sort like that?! The nail sample was pink so I assumed it was going to be pink. Well the owners wife said it will turn pink and stay, to just give it a day and it should be ok. Well I got home and just couldn’t stand the yellow. It wasn’t even changing to pink unless it was cold/freezing in a room. So it actually stayed yellow like the kind of yellow your nail would look if it was a ‘dead finger’ kind of ‘yellow’. I just couldn’t stand the yellow. So I went back and the owner was fine with me redoing them but it was crazy packed so I said I’d come back the next day. His wife then told me she would give me 1/2 price?! (After I spent almost $100 including tips) And truthfully paying $90 for a full set and pedi is much to spend, feet were good, full set wasn’t. And honestly I don’t think I should have paid especially if the nail was pink (and stayed pink on the sample) but mine weren’t?! I truthfully think that was false advertisement, but I said ok fine. Since it was my nail place. And she tried to argue with me about the nail vs my nails. Smh. So I went back and got them redone. It’s $40 for SNS, 1/2 price is $20. Once I was done come to find out she charged me $25?! It’s funny when someone gets over on you once, but twice?! That was so unprofessional! Moral of the story ask someone questions who knows what they’re talking about!! Had my nail tech told me “it changes colors but stays yellow” I would have changed the color. Kind of makes me wonder where my nail tech went and the front desk coordinator that was very nice. Tells me more than I know! I will not be returning and will take business else where!Photo on Right is sample picture (MS 16 is labels AS PINK in the nail shop) on left is my actual nail?! Which they stayed yellow and looked like a color I clearly didn’t pick out!
As a full-time student who works two jobs, self-care is something I take very seriously – and nails rank highly on that list. It’d been awhile since I’d been able to make it into get my nails done, but as luck would have it, my schedule happened to open up at the same time as one of my friend’s. After a quick Yelp search around noon, we found Laque and promptly made two 6:00 p.m. full set appointmentsWe arrived several minutes early, ready for our appointment, however, the front desk associate took a walk-in (who came in at the same time as us) before us. The overall vibe of the staff could be described as “flustered” and almost bothered by the fact that we had an appointment. While we waited, we went to pick out our nail colors, then sat down to wait for our nail techs. When my nail tech showed up, she argued with me about what I had written down on my check-in form (ombre SNS), and seemed dismissive. When she started on my nail shape, she continued trimming, even though I’d told her repeatedly that she’d cut them too short for the shape that I wanted. In response to this, she replaced one nail, but left the others, informing me that the shape would “look better” once they were all on. In reality, multiple nails were noticeably uneven.Meanwhile, about 50 minutes have passed by this time, and my friend’s nail tech still had not started her nails.Returning to my nails: After the SNS color was applied, the nail tech continued to shape them, at which point, I noticed that one nail was significantly slanted to one side, and her attempts at correcting the shape resulted in even more slanted, awkward nails. By the time she was finished, my nails were entirely-too-short, too small for my fingers, uneven, and basically, the beginning stages of a werewolf’s claw transformation.I sat for the next 45 minutes, waiting for my friend’s nail tech to be done – struggling to keep from crying, thanks to my overpriced, ombre, leaning Tower of Pisa-shaped monster nails. At that moment in time, all I wanted, more than anything, was for these to be removed. When we left, after 2.5 hours of waiting and an hour and a half after they closed, I was visibly upset and the staff took $5 off of each of our tabs.We really loved this aesthetic of this place and were excited about the possibility that it would become our new nail salon, but this whole experience has left me completely disheartened. And to be perfectly honest, what would’ve remedied the entire situation was if the nail tech would have simply fixed my nails the way I wanted them done in the first place. I work in the service industry, and understand that everyone has bad days, so I appreciate the apologies for the wait, but the lack of interest in resolving the problem, or refunding us, left a bad taste in our mouths.
I had tech Mia. she did amazing. I am super impressed with the quality and the price. all 10 of my nails are precise and perfect.
Worst experience ever. Terrible pedicure. Very mediocre service.
Tried going two different times and made an appointment both times. I still had to wait once An hour and second time 30 minutes! If you have a time set just know they dont seem to how to honor appointments its very frustrating
I made an appointment with the owner the day before my appointment. I showed up around 5:25 PM, five minutes before my appointment. I was greeted and asked to pick out color. Ten minutes later I asked when I would be seen as I not only had a babysitter, I was paying a sitter for this time. I was told from the gentlemen at the desk it would be about 15 minutes. He put me in a chair.... 5:55 PM rolled around and I got up to ask again if I would be seen soon he said, No so I left.I find it so incredibly rude and disrespectful to take appointments and not honor those appointments at that time. Five maybe 10 minutes is fair to wait beyond that is uncalled for especially considering they asked for my name and phone number. So knowing they had my number on file and didnt have the audacity to call me to let me know they were more than 35 minutes behind just shows how much they value their customers.Youd think for being on the higher end of pricing in this area their customer service would be better, but apparently not! I will never return to this nail salon - its sad too because I really enjoyed my experience at their other location, however Id rather give my business to another nail salon who respects their customers - luckily nail salons are a dime a dozen.
Great service. My nails look amazing. Ill definitely be back.
I love this place!! Everyone is very friendly and Cindy is my most favorite! The place was very clean I watch them sanitize my space before I sat down, and they were sanitizing it when I left. Very covid-19 conscious!
I’ve had a shellac manicure here twice now and both times have been exceptional. They take their time and really make sure your nails look perfect. The shellac done here has lasted longer than it has anywhere else I have been. The place is modern, clean and looks very new. They serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks while you get your nails done. It’s great for groups and parties if you want to sip mimosas while you’re being pampered. The staff here are so polite and friendly.
Loved the atmosphere, the staff was friendly, professional and exceeded my expectations. I had a pedicure and would definitely recommend.
I’ve been here a few times and gotten good service and quality nails. The product lasts (I get SNS). Some nail salons the product falls apart but it’s been great here. Highly recommend Helen! She was great!
I went to this nail place for the first time and loved it. They took the time to do a good job.Huge selection of colors of powders and polishes.I am very sensitive with my feet and they took notice and was careful. Definitely appreciated that. Will be going back for pedicures. Overall it was very clean, and friendly atmosphere.
I love this place! I recently had my nails done by Teresa she is great! I will definitely be going back to get my nails done with her again! She took her time and helped me choose the color I was looking for that I had in mind and my nails came out perfect. The ambience is great, the place is really nice and clean. I definitely recommend it!
Sad excuse for a salon treat the customers badly.
Luxury at its finest. The complementary drink selection is robust. The service is thorough, paying attention to every detail. Very professional group of people. The decor is luxurious and seating is plentiful. There is enough staff to accommodate many people
They advertise $29.00 for a whirlpool soak pedicure and a $39.00 salt soak and sugar scrub pedicure. I chose the $39.00 pedicure but was given a basic whirlpool soak and sugar scrub...even after telling them that my service came with a salt soak and after showing them their menu!!! Not only did she say no to the salt soak... she said I had to pay more for it. WhateverI asked for hot water...it remained cold...and yes she spoke English. On the good side of it I was given a glass on red wine. :/
The guy who did my nails (Tony?) was really detail-oriented and took his time with the manicure and the massage! They offered me all kinds of drinks. Im so in love with ambiance; I spent the whole time admiring the decor! It was very classy. I was there around 3pm on a Friday afternoon so it wasnt busy; I just walked right in. The prices are reasonable and they did a great job on my nails!
The milk and honey pedicure is EVERYTHING!!! OMG!! That will always be my choice from here on out! They are taking great precautions to keep everyone safe amd I appreciate that as well!
Best experience Ive had in any nail salon. They have excellent service, friendly technicians, clean environment and my nails look beautiful. The salon itself felt luxurious and there werent loud televisions blaring negative news/shows. I felt truly pampered. This is my salon going forward.
Friendly staff, had my nails done with Jenny! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Jenny listened to every detail and she made sure they came out to perfection! I love how clean and organized this salon is. Will definitely be returning in the future.
This salon is absolutely gorgeous, please give it a try, a true gem in our neighborhood. Lan is the best, I cant get a pedicure from anyone else! The decor is so beautiful and the salon is very spacious, light, bright and clean. You can relax with a complimentary glass of wine while you have your treatment too! Great place. Love it!
Great service, friendly staff. Took their time and great results. After 2 weeks my dipped nails are still smooth, no chips and no cracks. Nicely priced, too.
Untrained technicians & poor customer service. Worst pedicure Ive ever experienced! The tech made me bleed TWICE by clipping the corners of my toes too short. I really wanted to like this place - location is great with pretty decor and it seemed clean. Ill never go back.
Just moved to the area and this place is run like a nail bar I know of in San Diego. Great selection of services and price points, clean, and reasonably personable staff.Im sure, as with most salons all the techs have different levels of skill but the two pedis Ive had have been beyond my expectations and reasonably priced.
I loved this place! I had a very sweet nail technician, Lan, who did a great job with my pedicure. Pretty decor/atmosphere and delicious coffee as a bonus. Will definitely be back!
Great service, wonderful atmosphere and I am in love with my nails! 💗 Jason and hannah did such an amazing job! The owner Rudy was super sweet as well! Thank you guys for the amazing experience!
I went in with my husband for a pedicure and manicure. We got a shoulder massage added in and complimentary water and wine. The ambience and service was great. Employee and the owner were nice and courteous too. Would be a great place for bridal showers. Ill go back again.
Beautiful, clean, and a great price! I had a wonderful pedicure here today and was very impressed! Best nail salon I’ve been to in Austin!
Nice place. Reasonable prices. Good service. Serves wine and champagne.
This place is really nice! No complaints and I’ve been here about six times.
I have been coming here for about 1 yr and Lan is the best! ❤️ She listens to what I want and knows me better than I know myself. Hahaha I need her help when picking colors for mani and pedi. She tells me what I will like and what I should get. Truly the best.
HIGH QUALITY PLACE!! My mother and I went to Laque Nail Bar for the first time today, I had Lein and Tran for my shellac manicure and pedicure and my mom had Ivy for hers, let me tell you these ladies were beyond AMAZING!! They took their time and made sure our nails came out looking perfect! I am so pleased with this beautiful and relaxing salon, this will definitely be our go to spot and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
Beautiful nail salon, amazing customer service and free complintary beverages the experience was great! I recommend for basic things like solid colors dip etc but not ombre nails I gave 4 stars for that reason. I wanted black and plum ombre nails my nail stylist couldnt pull it off. So I had to pick another color and style no ombre nails for me I had to settle for acrylic which they gave me a $5 dollar discount for the inconvenience. My daughter had her nails painted and the paint chippedtoday after only one day of having them done. My stylist did a good job just not what I really wanted
Im very picky and particular about my nails but I have to say, everytime Ive come to this salon, they have always done the best job. Kevin did my nails tonight and they are everything!! He really goes that extra mile for his clients, his work is so clean, hes professional, polite and will actually hold a conversation with you instead of sit there in silence like a lot of other nail salons do. 10/10 will most DEFINITELY be coming back! Thanks Kevin!! Youre the best!!!
My boyfriend and I came in for our first time. Everyone is very welcoming. Lots of colors to choose from. Henry did an amazing job on my Pedicure & Manicure as so did Tran w/ my boyfriends requests !!! Such an amazing experience!
I feel in love with this place for the first time the professionalism is great well be coming back soon... Thank you Paul for everything very sweet man I value him alot
The best place too get your nails down!!!
Seriously most legit pedi Ive had in years. Tony did a great job! Definitely coming back and recommend this place to anyone in BE Austin. I got the Milk and Honey Pedicure.
Best atmosphere best staff most beautiful interior. Loved everything about this salon. SHOUT OUT TO TINA. Thank you see you again FORSURE!
I asked for cheapest full set for my niece they quoted me a price for SNS even though I would figure plain clear tips would be cheaper I didnt argue I go to pay and it was 5 dollars more than what I was quoted. They said bc I used fake nails . Like 1. Thats what a full set means and 2. If theres going to be a price change you should state that before doing the work once Im already quoted an amount. So horrible my fault from deviating from my normal spot
I have had my eye on this nail salon for a bit, just waiting for its doors to open. I love the name and was intrigued (while peeking in the windows) by the fresh and modern design. I finally saw that they opened and was able to make it in with my niece for girls day. I was so pleased and surprised to find out that three of my favorite sisters from a salon near my home several years ago, own / run the nail bar. They are amazing and the salon is top rate! Lan is simply the best when it comes to a heavenly pedicure and a stylish manicure! Tony painted my young nieces nails and toes with glitter, flowers and more! It was a wonderful to have found them again! We will be back! Thank you Lan!
Did not have a good experience with sns nails at this salon. The lady that did my nails put gel polish over my sns nails and they started chipping from the top. Beautiful place but inexperienced employee.
I NEVER post bad experiences. But I went to get a wax and was tortured for 50 minutes, excessive pain and making a huge mess all over me with wax and cotton balls while making no progress. Finally the lady looked up at me and said, “can you come back?” UHHHH no, I can’t come back! You couldn’t pay me to come back! I’ve had many waxes before and never had a problem, it was a quick and easy job, nothing insane and she botched it like nothing I’ve ever seen. Waxes should only be done by professionals or it could cause serious skin problems and I will NEVER go back there. I had to share my experience to hopefully save someone else from putting their body through this.
I went in during a non busy time, (around 3:45) there was a customer sitting close by explaining that she ned to leave she needed to get to work, they kept saying just a little more, needless to say 15 to 20 minutes she was finally able to pay and leave. After seeing what just happened, and I too had a place to be at but mine was at 5pm, after it taking over 30 minutes just to get my nails prepped, I left. A co-worker has gone thru the same thing, it takes forever, not the one hour service that is expected.Needless to say, will not be back, neither will my co-worker.
Three thumbs down do not recommend. I had Kevin who was nice and meticulous, however after less than 2 weeks nails started cracking and breaking. It was my second time for SNS and he only did 2 dips which they are saying is their policy. Went in and had one fixed. Two days later another broke then 2 days later another one broke. Didn’t have time to go in over weekend and had busy work day on Monday. Went on Tuesday just past two weeks and they refused to redo without me paying 1/2 for another set. Then explained you have to fill every 14 days for warranty. I’ve had my nails done for over 15 years and never had three nail break!
Pésimo/AwfulHelen worked beautiful nails but Kevin was so rude when I complained about the bumps on my daughters nails. He said you are not going to get a discount. Is it because Im Mexican. I felt discriminated. Not coming back anymore.Very bad experience. They need to work on customer service.
I finally visited this salon two weeks ago with my mom, and again today. Cindy did my manicure before and Lan (I could be misremembering her name, sorry!) did my manicure and pedicure today. I was very happy with both, from being personable and also doing a great job with my hands and feet! The atmosphere is almost high scale, fancy lighting, no posters on the walls. Very clean and welcoming. The prices are higher than nearby salons, but the quality of products and variety of services makes up for it. I love a good massage, and Lan did great in this aspect. Considering a good massage can be pricey, I highly recommend coming here for your nails if you also have tense shoulders and muscles :)Giving 4 stars because the prices on the website are less than what you actually will pay. Also there are no televisions to mindlessly stare at while youre getting your nails done. The massage chairs are way too rough for me, but its nice to lean back and relax! Laque is definitely worth checking out.
Incredible experience at Laque Nail Bar! Everything is beautiful and clean. Tony did a fabulous job on my SNS manicure, and, be you even get a neck/shoulder massage at the end. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back!
So this is a split review. I went in and asked for a gel pedicure and SNS manicure. My pedicure was amazing. I had Tran and she was begging great. Super friendly, organized and meticulous. She and she alone is the ONLY reason of wsnt to come back. Aside from the atmosphere which is absolutely beautiful. BUT, I then was sent to get my nails done and my tech was an older woman with a very short and petite frame. She wore glasses and had dark short hair. I was hoping that my nails would end up looking great, but I was wrong. So so wrong. She seriously messed them up. My nails are uneven, they’re incredibly bumpy, and they have smudge marks on them. She also didn’t cut my cuticles are so any prep to the nails prior to the dip. It was as though she was in a hurry. It was very sloppy. I’m going back tomorrow for a redo with a different tech. Will update after.
My first time here. Great place. Henry was my technician. He was great.
Loved the aesthetic of this place, it was pretty relaxing and my nail tech just did his job. My nails came out nice and clean, a little over priced for just basic SNS set but you pay for what you get!
Worst attitude. Descent for basic nails. Ask for nail art and you will be treated as if you are a burden. The male nail tech was rude and acted like he was having the worst day. Poor guy. Dont spend your money at a place that will treat you bad.
Rudy, Henry, Jason, Nina, Hannah were so amazing. From the beginning to the end. Daughters pre-bachelorette party pampering! Thank you for the special TLC!
Nice atmosphere! Pampered from the time you walk in! Nails always done by Kevin, who does a Fantastic job!!💅🏽
The man cut me 5000 times and the lady spilled nail polish all over my finger and didn’t get it off. Charged me $60 just for a refill.
I got my nails done yesterday and I was so damn disappointed that I will never return. I had my hands done by Helen and my nails look like a 5 year old did them. I didnt want to complain because all I wanted to do was just get out of there. The ppl that are doing your nails are to worried about getting you to upgrade to a more expensive service and if you dont they really dont care about giving you good service. My daughter had her nails done by chuck and he didnt do a good service either. LADYS DONE WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE!!!!!
You will really enjoy the atmosphere and service!!!
Health risk!!!! Absolutely will not be back and will be reporting to TDLR. Attempts to use unsanitary tools, cut me and made me bleed, then used a bottle of cuticle oil on my OPEN, BLEEDING WOUND. The next person is lucky I have no diseases, but if they did this to me they could do it with anyone and the next bleeding person may not be disease-free.First of all, I am a salon owner and I am completely up to speed on correct health practices in nail salons. The woman doing my pedicure (nametag said Lan) was going to start my service with an already opened package of tools, so I asked to have a new, unopened, sanitized package. This made her visibly upset and she was incredibly rude during the whole service. And I could tell she was not rude to other customers because she smiled and talked to her next guest. Im sorry, but it is THE LAW to use unopened, sanitized tools on every person, so my request was 100% valid and is part of my responsibility as a consumer to advocate for myself. The nail file had visible marked where someone elses nails were filed with it. The pedicure was awful - polish all over the cuticles and my nails are not smooth. Lastly as I mentioned above, my manicurist (Hannah) was very aggressive with my cuticles, clipped them WAY too close (they arent supposed to clip them back at all the way she did it, its against code), and cut my cuticles, making me bleed. She was very unsanitary in the way she worked and theres a bottle of cuticle oil in that place with my blood in it. Be aware.
Kevin the nail tech, did a terrific job. Love my nails.
I got my nails done by Lan and shes the best! The seating area in the back for manicures is a bit akward and uncomfortable, otherwise a very beautiful salon!
