I haven’t had the best experiences over the years with some of the front desk employees. It’s like they go out of their way to be rude. Others have been nice so I can’t say it’s everyone. Also the wait times for appointments can be extremely long. I know they take emergency appointments, but no one has ever said that is the reason. And when it’s every appointment, maybe that could be worked on.The vets are great though, but I just think those little things make all the difference with vet care overall. I don’t think we will be back just because we are really disappointed with the recent care with a bill. They added a finance charge when we couldn’t call and get through to pay. They said their phone lines were down for three weeks, but didn’t want to take it off. I have spent all this time, calling many times, not been able to get through, waiting on hold, trying to pay this bill and they just don’t seem to be helpful or considerate. It’s definitely the little things in my book.
They were the only place in town that would take my sick husky on short notice. I didn’t even have to wait in the parking lot. They immediately brought her in for the exam. They were very gentle and patient with her. They ran some tests, then sent her home with many meds and supplements. I thought it was going to cost an arm and leg but the price was so astoundingly affordable that it made the 45 min drive home much less stressful. Thanks again!
I have two pending appointments for my girl and just showed up on the wrong day for the wrong appointment. I was greeted so kindly, had all follow ups explained and was worked in for the one that could actually be done early with nothing but the most positive response. This sort of thing and the care of Dr. Grigsby - so appreciated. Thanks, guys!
Extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Truly appreciate their service. A+.
Our dog pulled cooked pork ribs off of the counter. Our normal vet had a 4-6 hour walk-in wait. We called VCA and they had a an hour long wait, so we drove over. They came and got my dog out of the car in under 15 minutes. Though I ended up being in the area around 2-3 hours (they had several walk-ins in front of me and then had to to x-rays) they were so communicative. I worked at the nearby summermoon so I didn’t have to take much time off work and could still take care of my baby. I cannot say enough good things about every staff member and Dr. Wu. The next day my dog showed symptoms that Dr. Wu anticipated, I called back and asked more questions and she was so helpful and calm. Couldn’t be happier and I am glad my dog is going to be okay despite eating bones.
I cant recommend Dr Engle and this VCA practice enough. We live in Pflugerville but the drive is well worth it to receive the kind of care we have. We adopted three kittens during the pandemic, and at 6 months old two of them developed a serious illness. Dr Engle has been absolutely wonderful in providing supportive care and is super patient and responsive to my many questions and concerns. Weve also seen Drs. Mong and Pasternak at the practice, and they were equally wonderful. This clinic is really accommodating with walk-in appointments for emergency issues, too. We will be lifetime clients.
VCA helped us out last minute with an emergency need for our dog during the 2021 winter snow storm. They went above and beyond in the kindest way possible, and it really stood out to us. Thank you for being wonderful when it mattered the most!
We have been taking our dog to this clinic for the last 5+ years. Our experience every time has been good. Our pets current vet is Dr. Mong. In the last six months, we met him once and have had phone conversations twice. On all these occasions, we have been impressed with his thorough examination, knowledge, patience, and high customer orientation. Happy that our four legged family member is in good hands with Dr. Mong and this clinic!
I’ve been taking Max here for his primary care for a few years, the doctors are always thorough, informative and helpful. Everyone there is so friendly. Just started to bring our girl Penny in and they were very respectful of her anxiety boundaries and didn’t treat her with any less sweetness. I really like this no contact check in as two large dogs with different kinds of anxiety behaviors is hard to handle while checking in.
I cant say enough praise for VCA lakeline. Ive been coming here 25 years. The competency and passion of the doctors is always evident especially for Dr Engle and Dr Mong and so many others. I recently had a difficult issue with one of my dogs and Dr Mong and Dr Engle talked a lot about it and I ended up going with them for the surgery instead of other specialty doctors. And I honestly believe no one could have done better than what Dr Mong did. He did a super job! Im so happy!
Ive been taking my dog here for almost 12 years. They are a little pricey, but worth it. Its a 45 minute drive, one-way, and I still refuse to go elsewhere. Dr. Mong is my current favorite because he clearly cares so much that you almost want him to adopt your animal. If the Veterinarian with the electronic stethoscope that connects to his hearing aids walks in, request someone else, though... Im not even sure he still works there, but his care is the only complaint I have about this clinic.
I’ve been taking my dog here for almost four years. Every single person (vet, tech, front desk staff) I come into contact with here is exceptional. From emergency services and walk-ins to annual exams, they are always incredibly empathetic, helpful and informative. It can feel so overwhelming trying to find a vet to take care of your animal. VCA Lakeline understands that and does everything they can do make you and your pet comfortable and healthy. I can’t recommend them enough. (Special shout out to Dr. Engle who is incredibly thorough and patient!)
VCA Lakeline has always taken such good care of my two cats. Even after moving a little further away I still drive over to bring them to this location. After one of them was straining to use the litter box they told me to bring him in immediately. They updated me during the entire process and made sure I knew all the options. We are now in the recovery process thanks to VCA Lakeline and Dr. Engle!
This clinic is top notch. I brought my animals here when it was family owned and I recently returned with a new furry family member. The staff, technician, and doc were very caring and thorough. We were seen in a timely and efficient manner. Dr. Prater treated our pup like her own. Love this place!!!
Management must have changed. No one answers the phone anymore. Last visit appointment was at 10:45 but didn’t see vet until 11:20. Finally Dr. Byer arrived with no apology. Sounded like they were all hanging out in the back. I’ve always liked going here because of how responsive and available they have been in the past, both in office and on the phone. If this continues I’ll find another vet.
I am not a regular patient but they made room my dog in to check out an infected cut and I just wanted to say Thank you so very much. Very nice folks.
I took our dog, Minnie to VCA a couple of times over the past few months when started to become lethargic. Minnie is a Shar Pei, so we were very worried about Familial Shar Pei Fever. Each time, the folks at VCA took excellent care of Minnie. The staff is professional, compassionate, and friendly. Minnie was seen by Dr. Noel, who is clearly an excellent, highly intelligent, and caring vet. Dr. Noel’s first instinct on Minnie’s diagnosis seems to be correct and Minnie is much improved today directly as a result of the care she got from VCA Dr. Noel. Minnie’s not quite out of the woods yet, but she is improved today and that would not have happened without VCA and Dr. Noel. I strongly recommend VCA and Dr. Noel.
VCA is by far the best veterinarian Ive ever used! All of the Vets and Techs are patient and caring, and attentive to the needs of the owners and pets that come in. Weve interacted with a handful of the Vets there (all great), but my wife and I were lucky enough to have Dr. O as our main doc.Firstly, we came to VCA when my mother-in-laws dog was having some serious issues and suddenly stopped eating and wouldnt get up. Unfortunately the dog had developed what they thought was aggressive cancer, which is what we were afraid of. When we took her in, we already knew what was likely to happen. Doc O and his staff made what should have been an awful experience into something very comforting. We could even tell he was upset from seeing my wifes mother cry so hard, which just shows how much they care there! Now we bring our three dogs here and have been nothing but satisfied! They are gentle with the pups and not pushy with services. Doc O even told us to hold off on some basic services because the pups had a very slight fever, and to come back in a few days when they were feeling better. Its not about getting as much out of each customer here like it is in other vets.Sure the fees here might seem a little high, but Id rather pay a higher price and know that my dogs are well taken care of - and not getting something they dont need just so the vet can make an extra buck or two. We are extremely satisfied with VCA Lakeline!!!
I have been trying to get my puppy Hazel into the vet. With my work schedule it has been difficult. I called Lakeline Animal Hospital and was able to get an appointment the next day.Dr. Hagel was awesome! He was honest and upfront with me about the possible cost and the possibilities of what could be going on with my puppy. He was very informative and answered all questions I had.The prices are good and the visit did not take long. I will be going back for both of my dogs.
If you love your pets dont bring them here. All theyre interested in is up charging you and adding on fees that you dont need.I canceled my dog one night and he has kennel cough now. Stay far away from this place!
Great place! We were having trouble getting medicine down our cat, so we took him in. The vet tech took the time to teach us how to use a pill popper and force wash the pill down with water. She was a real life saver; wed tried every YouTube tutorial out there without luck.
Update: Since this business has been bought and no longer family owned the customer service has tanked. It doesnt matter when your appointment it you will wait and wait and wait... All the more while more dogs are coming in the door and barking and reacting to one another. Walk-in nail trims were seen before our appointment with the technician! Its extremely stressful and noisy situation for dogs not to mention potentially dangerous. I made my appointment for a booster for boarding purposes. Only after my dog was seen did they tell me he needed a yearly exam or else I couldnt get heart guard medicine. He is up-to-date on everything and doesnt need shots. Just an exam. No mention of this over the phone. They just want your money and dont care anything about you or your pets.My old dog and I recently moved to the area. I called to make an appointment after a scare. The friendly staff asked questions and was genuinely concerned for my dog and told me to come in right away. Even though they didnt have an opening on the schedule they made time for us. The doctor was straight forward and thorough while giving us all options of how to proceed. Treating the symptoms rather than the age of my dog.
This was my first visit to Lakeline Animal Care, and Im thrilled! Everyone was super sweet and polite, especially Dr. Olivares and the vet tech. I feel terrible for not recalling her name... She truly was awesome though! Ill update this when I find out, so that she can have a proper shout out.I made my appointment last minute, so I was surprised they had an opening same day. They allowed me to bring both of my cats in for a double exam, took their time, were very thorough, and didnt push for any unnecessary procedures. What they did charge for, however, was very fair. I highly recommend them :)
Amazing staff. Superb vets. Theyre all caring, empathetic and excellent at what they do! I feel lucky to have them for my dogs and cat. They deal with everything imaginable seamlessly.
This place has gone down hill pretty badly. Every time I bring my dogs in they forget to update records and constantly tell me they need vaccinations when they JUST got them. Not worth the hassle anymore.
Above and beyond ... the vets and staff here are amazing, thorough, and extremely caring of pets and owners alike. Weve had to put down two of our dogs recently and their process was incredibly well done. Its the little things that count, and they do them to the nines.Their reviews are high for a reason ...
Dr. Lisa Byer is awesome! She will take great care of your animals!
I had 2 of my dogs that had medical issues at the same time. I took them both to Lakeline Animal Care and was so impressed with the care the they received from everyone there. Dr Walden was the main vet that we worked with and she is Amazing! I felt that they all truly cared about my dogs even the group that did the Sonograms. I would highly recommend Lakeline Animal Care.
I’ve been going here for over 20 years- yes they’ve changed management but they truly care. I love all of them- thank you for always being there
Not all but some prices are unreasonable. The vet gave off bad vibes. I’ve never heard my puppy cry like that just to listen to her heart beat with stethoscope which I have done frequently and she never even tried i fight it. Long wait for someone with an appointment and would rather take my puppy to someone who doesn’t terrify her just being touched
What first attracted me to Lakeline Animal Care was their hours and availability, but I was instantly hooked with the kind staff after my first visit. Me and my two cats were always treated with respect and I never had a bad visit. Dr. Cassens was the doctor I repeatedly saw, and she was amazing. I definitely recommend this vet and the prices arent bad for the area either. Im devastated that I had to move and find another vet, Ill miss these guys!
We have been going to Lakeline Animal Care for 7 years now with our two dogs. While busy, they definitely have always had a pretty good hours available for appointments. They are a little more pricey, but the vets here have great knowledge and quality care. Recently, we had a very sick dog. Thanks to their willingness to just bring her in without an appointment and look at her, they were quickly able to determine the issue and save her life. She developed an autoimmune disease out of the blue- completely unexpected when we took her in that evening. We also chose to use them for boarding after a trip recently. They took great care of our two dogs, especially the one who is now on medications and is a higher-needs animal because of her autoimmune issue. We will definitely use them again for future boarding in the Austin Area!
The best pet hotel (cats/ dogs) there is. The rooms, yes rooms, not cages, are awesome. The staff is super-friendly and since this is also an actual vet office they can deal with animals appropriately. We have a 17 year old cat who needs daily medicine. They have no problems with him, even though hes a pain in the butt.
Super nice staff, called for a chocolate emergency regarding our new pup and the nurse was very welcoming, kind, and patient. Thank you so much for all the help!
Dr Evans is our vet at Lakeline Animal Care. She has seen us through a few situations with our border collie. Shes always straight forward and caring. Our dog lives her. The staff at the clinic are just awesome!
Wouldn’t go anywhere else! Dr. Grigsby is a wonderful vet who cares genuinely for my pup. The staff is so friendly, competent, and kind. Also, they never keep us waiting, which is a difficult accomplishment for a vet office. Today, they worked my pup in because of an ear infection. We met Dr. Byer who is equally as wonderful! Elisabeth was fabulous too! If you’re looking for a new vet, I highly recommend this practice. Thank for LAC for doing such a good job!!
Took my cat in because she was throwing up and not eating. They ran tests and couldnt conclude anything until the next day. So I brought her back and they told me she had pancreatitis and needed to stay for the day for an IV flush. Everything seemed okay and legit. When I picked my cat up, I found out she had been left sitting in a litter box hooked up to the IV all day. She had been sitting in her own urine all day. When they brought her out she was covered in urine and litter. Completely unacceptable. And, my cat has developed an upper respiratory infection after that ordeal. These people are supposed to be in the business of animal care. That is a joke. I called and complained to them, but I dont have high expectations for improvement. I will not take any pet of mine back here. Ive also noticed other bad reviews and the companys response. If they care like they say they do in those responses, things like this wouldnt happen in the first place. Its called integrity. Its called care. If you cant deliver proper care with integrity find another line of work. Landline Animal Hospital, dont bother responding to this review. It wont be believed. Your words mean little. Your actions spoke volumes.
I had to put my oldest kitty down, and ended up here. They were kind and understanding, and even sent me a sympathy card, hand-written by the vet that performed the procedure. They made a difficult parting less painful. Thank you!
Thank you. Tonight was super hard, but the vet, techs and csr were absolutely wonderful.
I highly recommend this veterinarian, Dr. Oliver Engle. He and his staff are amazing, I had to make the hard decision to put our pitbull Guwop down. They made the process a little easier to accept. They were all so kind, compassionate and loving. Thank you all so much for your help!
Amazing place. Truly cares for your pet. Havent found anyone there that didnt. Ive been going there for about a year and my dog is near death and they have supported me the entire way. Highly recommend them.
We have gone to multiple other veterinary places in Austin but Lakeline Animal Care is, by far, the best place weve ever taken our pet. Not only do they care clearly, about our pets, but they also care about our Financial situation and price match with some of the best pet stores online as well as brick and mortar. I would not take my pets to any other veterinary practice except Lakeline Animal, simply because they care the most.
Dr. Engle (not sure if thats the correct spelling) and his tram is amazing. They were so tentative to my cat and helped me figure out she was going into labor!!! Thank you so much :)
Great experience here, Dr. Engle and staff.
They have a tendency to overbook and the wait can be extreme even if you have an appointment. Theyre a very good price and extremely helpful....the photoshopped pics with celebrities in some rooms are creepy af.A year later and the wait time has only gone up (even before covid. After covid is understandable). On average, youre going to be waiting for 40 to 60 minutes. Its ridiculous.
Had an appt *today* at 3:30pm. Arrived 10 mins early. Checked in with front desk. Was placed in the exam room almost immediately. Saw the tech for 3 mins, been sitting in the exam room for 50 minutes at this point. Could have been working but apparently our time is not worth as much as theirs. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
No openings for puppies and new pets for 3 1/2 to 4 weeks out! Not willing to add new patients. Absolutely horrible experience over the phone. I would not take your pet to a chain veterinarian clinic Because it’s very apparent that they do not care about individuals.
Ammmmaaaazing experience just now. Our cat has not been herself the past day and a half. Of course its now the weekend and we have no appointment. Googled clinics that are open for walk-ins and they were conveniently located 5 mins away so we walk in and immediately the place feels like a home not a sterile clinic. Animals in attendance all seem well behaved and less nervous than other places Ive taken my pets. They have a front desk that separates cats from dogs and that was wonderfully appreciated. Our cat was much less nervous and didnt spazz out at all while waiting. And that was the amazing part. We fully expected to wait since we didnt have an appointment and they did set the expectation that the wait could be 30-90 mins! I kinda cringed but again, knew full well we had no appt so we sit and wait. 5 mins goes by and very friendly assistant completes the regular clipboard checklist of questions of whats going on. She then offered to take the cat back to get vitals after answering questions and proceeds to take us to a quaint and cozy exam room. Doc comes in another 5 mins later, friendly and kind and gentle with our kitty and proceeds to give us several options, full rundown of the most conservative and least costly remedies to full cost xrays, blood work, etc and then let us decide which was the best approach based on our concerns and budget. No pressure whatsoever. We decided on a quick shot remedy and 4 days of follow up meds that were provided on the spot and explained. Thank you, have a nice day, that will be $130. Done. Kitty is home and resting now and we left the house an hour before. Homey, comfy, cozy environment. No undue stress on our sweet animal baby and she is on the mend for minimal cost and treated by the friendliest animal lovers. Highly recommend the folks here and will be returning for any future unscheduled and regular pet care needs. Thank you for the love and care provided to Elena today. ❤🐈🐱❤
We are brand new to town and had an issue with our dog during our move. We called and they took us right in. Weve got a complex canine and from the vet techs to the doc to the office manager, they were right on board. Our pup is a total family member and they took her health as seriously as we did. Very grateful and feel totally safe after only two visits. The Lenzens and Opie the Aussie thank you, Lakeline!
Ive never met a vet who made my cats care feel like human care. Sure many vets can (and do) properly care for an animal. After research, the care outlined by my current vet is consistent and comparable with Dr. Waldens. However, Dr. Waldens approach to care was of much higher quality. Dr. Walden took the time to review my cats treatment plan, provide me my options and the rationale for each option, and made it a point to present me with the costs associated with our agreed treatment plan so I had no surprises on the costs for that days visit. Every person has a different idea of what they would consider ideal care. Mine happens to put heavy weight on understanding the reasoning for the treatment and on general knowledge. If you prefer a similar type of care, Dr. Waldon is highly recommended. I will transition my cats care to her after one visit (he is an older cat suffering from a chronic disease).Regarding their facilities, I love the separate entrances for felines and dogs. It is clean and homey but mildly dated. The flooring is tile and poor to absorb sounds but I presume that is a sacrifice made with sanitation in mind.Their staff was superb too. The technicians (namely Elizabeth, sp?) were clearly knowledgeable and even took the time to show me how to administer injectable medications for my future knowledge.Overall, it is brazenly obvious this clinic strives to put quality pet/owner care at the top of their list. From what little I saw, their culture is built around a love for our furry friends. Also, they are open 7 days a week so busy poor folk like myself can afford to take their little ones in on the weekend should something urgent arise.
Excellent care, very compassionate. Usually able to get an appointment the same day. Been using them for 16 years.
My dog was suffering from what other Vets told me was allergies. The poor thing was balding and itchy and no one was helping me. A friend recommended Lakeline Animal Care and Im glad she did. I told the vet about what we had been battling for 4 years and what other vets had told me. The vet listened to me and really looked at my dog. He agreed that I needed to take him to a specialty doctor and he wrote up a referral for me. The doctor also gave me a shampoo to help with any infection my dog had gotten from scratching so much. Out of all the doctors I had seen for the same issue he was the first to recommend this to me. I am so grateful for this office they were the first to really understand my dogs needs and to actually pay attention to what was wrong with him.
I loved this place initially. The staff is great and the facility is adorable. The reason Im putting 2 stars however, is because my dog had uncontrollable diarrhea twice in a 3 week period and when I took him in they just said it was some bacteria, gave him antibiotics and probiotics and sent us on our way. Well luckily I have a friend who works at Banfield and she was shocked when I told her that the doctor I spoke with the second time told me it wasnt necessary to do a fecal test because she didnt think anything would show up. Sure enough I transfer him over to Banfield and they do a comp exam and turns out he had hookworms. I wouldve never known had I stayed with VCA and I dont appreciate the doctors there being so nonchalant about his diarrhea, despite his good appearance. In the future, please just do more testing and be proactive in treating these animals. I was willing to pay for it but took the advice of a trusted Vet who steered me wrong. Theres no telling how long my dog had hookworms and how uncomfortable that mustve been.
The most caring and trustworthy veterinarians and staff around. They treat you and your pets like family.
The staff is awesome, and so sweet to our pupper Boots, despite her diva attitude. Particular shoutout to Dr Engel, who legit saved her life a few years back.
This place is absolutely all I ever wanted in a boarding facility. I had almost given up ever finding such a caring, awesome place, including vet and staff. My son and girlfriend told us how impressed they were with the vets here as well as the boarding, but we live in Kyle, Tx and it was just too far to travel... but, thank goodness we did. We .left our spoiled Yorkie there for 4 days boarding and were amazed of the caring way he was cared for. Archie, our Yorkie... as I said is very spoiled, hates being parted from my husband and I, so he went on a hunger strike I guess you can say. Wouldnt eat or drink and when he did he started vomiting. We got a call from LAC and they told me what was happening. Spoke to the vet caring for him and okay-ed an injection to stop the vomiting. Told us to call them as many times a day as we wanted to check on him. I was worried Archie would get worse but I was really impressed with their concern for Archie because every time I called after that he was doing better. I am extremely grateful we found this place, LAC is a god send! Even though we are outside of Austin, we will continue to board Archie at LAC. Everyone is so caring, Vet, and staff !! Thank you so very much for taking such great care of our Archie! You are wonderful!
Dr. Treadway and staff have taken care of our cats for years. We finally had to send Zozo off for another adventure and it was peaceful and kind and loving. There are no words to describe it.
Dr. Anettra Cassens-very caring, highly skilled, EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I have an insulin dependent diabetic cat that had been under the care of another vet for one year....and had not improved. In less than 2 months, my cat has not only improved....but theres a very strong possibility he will be off insulin in less than 6 months. Her vet techs are also extremely skilled and very knowledgeable...they answer questions with excellent technical abilities. They are also equally caring, gentle...and very patient! Dr. Cassens is amazing! They have evening hours and weekend hours...including Sunday!
They are awsome i have 9 cats and 3 dogs
Have had really nice care from almost all the doctors here. Highly recommended!!!
Reliving this makes me cry again. It has been so painful to even write a letter to this place to tell them how they affected our lives. But they should be surprised that I have not spoken about it until now. Three years ago, we trusted our baby into their care. When the vet tech took blood from Bookie, who is a Chihuahua, he stuck the needle in his neck wrong. I know our Bookie screamed but I know that he insensitively kept going and stuck it in anyway. Our baby collapsed. I was on the phone with the doctor when he told me to come up there because something was wrong and that Bookie was not responding. I cant tell you how hard it was to drive from my house in Austin traffic to that place and the terror of not knowing what happened. When I arrived, our baby was lying on the table, lifeless. The vet had called the emergency hospital and I had to take him. Dr Engle even helped me to my car. He knew they screwed up. I raced in Austin traffic to Round Rock Hospital while our little man was screaming in pain. Then halfway there, he sounded as though he was winding down. It was a sound I never want to hear again. I knew at that moment he was going to die before we got to the hospital. I was singing to him, telling him how much we loved him, and prayed to hold on if he could. An eternity, but we finally arrived at the hospital. I stayed while they ran tests and worked on him. The doctor came out and told me it was a possibility he may not walk again. My daughter flew in from Houston and my other daughter left her job to come racing across town to possibly say goodbye to their baby brother. Thats how much we love him. It broke my heart when my oldest daughter said crying as she held his limp body. Its okay Booboo, if you cant hold on and youre in too much pain. You can do anything you want even if it means you have to leave us. Well see you soon. The Round Rock doctor took such good care of him and by miracle, a few days, he was responding. We took shifts having him sleep in a comfortable basket next to us in case he needed anything. Finally, a week later when I carried him outside and put him down on the grass, Booboo started walking. He kept going and started to walk down the driveway. Hes following me right now as I pace. But this horrible incident has taken years off of his life. His left leg sometimes doesnt step down but curls under because its just a bit weaker. Chihuahuas are supposed to last many years but its taken a lot away from his life span. I cant even ask the name of this vet tech because if he goes to work somewhere else, I would not want him touching my baby again. What troubles me is that Dr Engle still tried to act confused as to what occurred and at times would even blame our baby and say I just dont know what he (Bookie) did. I told him most definitely what happened. I said that the vet tech stuck a needle in his neck wrong and wouldnt stop! Bookie was screaming, but he just kept going. I understand that dogs will yelp but I know this was different. They did pay for the Round Rock Hospital expenses and dr Engle called once after a couple of days to see how Bookie was doing but that was it. Theyve never called to check up on him or to see how hes doing after that. Im sure they held their breath hoping that I wouldnt sue them so they dont want to admit wrongdoing. But we dont care about money, we care that our baby is alive and not in pain. We know now that well have to pay more expenses for his extended care before his time. I will be requesting that this place pay for his care related to premature aging from the trauma as I see upcoming health issues hes starting to have and shame on them if they refuse because they know in the past 3 years I have not bothered them or asked for anything monetary- wise.
Been taking my animals here for 18 years. Ive seen Veterinarians come and go. The office is beautiful and very calming to my chiuahuah. She likes to sit up on the counter when we check out and act like she lives there. Shes a nipper and she has never nipped a staff member here. They treat her as if shes one of their own, cooing over her as they carry her to the back to do whatever needs to be done.I make appointments and we are seen right on time everytime. Walkins have typically been a lengthy wait in the past so I never do that unless it is life threatening.Yes they do care very much. Now for the cons: Youll get lectured from 2 to 3 different staff members for each thing you say no to. Ok staff, ENOUGH! Weve been followed out to the car just to press their point one more time. Lakeline we know you care but please respect decisions made by pet parents. Its over bearing and pushes people away. This very same thing happened when we visited last year. They are expensive but will price match online pet med distributors. What would I change?1. Id like to see this office offer hollistic product options.2. Referrals for pet services too.
Superb and compassionate care for all our babies over the years.
Called in to get quote for declaw-fixed and shots on my cat- was quoted $320.00.Decided not to get declawed and got fixed instead- found out had broken tooth-they charged me $621.00 to fix-shots and tooth repaired- I now own the most expensive rescued cat- This is the most expensive vet in Austin- will not take my other animal to this vet
They take good care of my dogs
Great. Amazing staff and quality care.
Friendly vet with reasonable rates.
Wonderful vets that care.
