Like others, I would give a zero if I could. My order is a full mattress set for my daughter. I was told that they only come to my area on Fridays. They scheduled a date and time. Friday morning, I removed the old bed and make ready for the new. Waited all day and tried calling Austin around 4:30 to find out whats going on. They put me on hold and after 10 minutes I hung up. I sent a text with all info they requested and no response. They closed at 5:00. No one ever showed up and no explanation as to where my mattress is. Now my daughter is sleeping on an old mattress on the floor until they decide to show up!!! How are they even in business?
Ordered a queen mattress from a department store. Hot Shot was supposed to deliver it to me. Hot Shot called me and set up delivery for 08/02/21 between 8-10. Their timeline, not mine. They did not show up or call that day. When I called next day staff was extremely rude and refused to give me any information. I escalated to Charlie Davenport, VP of Operations. He refused to do anything to make the situation right. Told me it was out of his hands and the company who contracted them would reach out at some unspecified day/time. Hot Shot Final Mile lost my mattress and refuses to reimburse me or do anything to make this right. Im hiring an attorney.
I’m not sure how these guys plan to stay in business. If I could give zero stars here I would. Unworkable delivery windows for anyone except residential.Your delivery address closes at 5 you say? Too bad.I scheduled someone to stay specifically to receive the delivery. They didn’t show, and they didn’t call.
All I can say is that the items showed up with no damage and looked like they had been handled with care.However I was rescheduled 2 times the 1st time I waited all day for my shipment and it never showed up. No call no reason. Nothing. I called the next day and they said it was never loaded on the truck because it was too big the 2nd time I got a call minutes before my window was supposed to start saying they wouldnt be able to come out because they didnt have any drivers. Each time they moved the day 4 days out or so. When my items finally showed up it was within the window. And the crew was professional and friendly. I would say if your items get sent out them to to call and make sure they are on the truck.
If I could give this business zero stars, I happily would. Not only did they change my delivery time the day before, but they also delivered the package to the WRONG address. The driver insisted he delivered the package to the right address, but security and neighbors have confirmed he delivered it to the house across the street. After them insisting I send them photo evidence to dispute the driver, they have continually avoided both calls and emails to remedy the situation.
If I could give a 0 star that is what they deserve. They installed the bed incorrectly, most screws requires re-fixing, and knob not tight, or barely there. Delivery is poor quality.
Placed an order on Overstock for a furniture set. Overstock contracts with EFW shipment who contracted with Hot Shot Final Mile for the delivery. Hot Shot Final Mile came to deliver 1 hour before the designated delivery window with a 15 minute warning call from the driver. I did not receive that call until too late so needless to say I didnt get home in time. Called to reschedule with EFW for the next day. Hot Shot final mile would not honor the delivery window given by EFW and wanted to push the delivery even later. Margaret at Hot Shot was rude, unprofessional and unaccommodating. I asked to speak to the manager and was denied. EFW had to get another company to pick up my furniture from Hot Shot to get it delivered to me. EFW was great. Hot Shot Final Mile was not.
They rescheduled my shipment without alerting my twice, and only deliver once per week so automatically delayed my shipment by over 2 weeks. Then I had to call them to figure out why the hell my shipment was delayed, which involved a he said she said of them losing parts. If you get paired to have something delivered with them Id save yourself the trouble and cancel it early so you can buy somewhere else
Give it a zero if I could. After weeks of waiting for delivery, I touched base with the manufacturer of my order. They referred me to the long hauler who then referred me to the hot shot service. The manufacturer wasnt even aware a hot shot service had been hired. They didnt care either as Once it leaves our facility its out of our hands. I talked to the hot shot service who designated a time and date for delivery. Them, not me. Guess what? No delivery, no call, no nothing. Waited several days and called the service again since they didnt even try to set up another delivery. It was like I was a pea in a pod. Result? I canceled the delivery and called the manufacturer and told them to stuff it. No wonder America is going down the tube. With performances like this, I wonder what would happen when our country really needs its transportation industry at crunch time.
Can I give this a ZERO?! Confirmed a delivery for 8-12 this morning. Nothing, no delivery, no call. Doesnt answer phone and has no VM. This is after a huge run around with Hayneedle and EFW already. Nobody does their one job. Dont buy things from companies just because they are cheaper. You get exactly what you pay for till the very end.
