Love my tint work but I find it odd that they priced my mothers car at a cheaper price when it’s a 2018 model and mine is an 05. Same exact tint style and everything.

Maybe its been a while since I had a tint, but I do remember that their finished work was better. This last time I found glue stuck on steating wheel, exterior of car, and back seat . As far as the tint, I have to wait on the curing process to see how it ends up coming out. I will update.

I was told to bring in my car they had enough time to do it that day. I arrive to and am immediately told I never had called and that they could take me in the next day. Its bad enough they quote close to &$40 more than surrounding shops but to be treated as if my time didnt matter was unnecessary. 3 cars would have came in after me had they done a good job. I will be looking elsewhere

Ive been coming here for years this is the only place I get my windows tinted. Ive never had any bubbling Or peeling of window tint.

Usually good work, but my car was left with glue from previous tint job (not done here) and could have been done more thorough.

200 dlls for lifetime warranty. The only thing they didnt tell me beforehand is that in order to keep warranty valid, you have to bring the car to them once a year for inspection...im ok with that but wish they would tell you before tint installation.Found a bubble or 2 in my tint, they checked and no problem, they replaced the tint. Im happy with the quality of the tint film.

I should have read the reviews before wasting my time with this tint shop. I called to make an appointment and they scheduled me on a Saturday (04/18/2020) at 10am. Since it would take several hours for the job, I arranged a ride in advance to pick me up from the shop once I dropped my car off. When I arrived on the appointed day and time, I was turned away by the owner because they had too many cars to work on and not enough employees for the work. In addition, he told me that I should have shown up at 8am instead of 10am. I told him that was the time that I was scheduled for. He looked in his appointment book and couldnt find my name. Its pretty bad when they cant even log in appointments properly. So, he rescheduled me for the following Wednesday (04/22/2020) at 9am, which I was fine with. At this point my time had been wasted in addition to the person that followed me to the shop that was to give me a ride back home.Again, I had to arrange a ride for the rescheduled appointment. This time I arrived 15 minutes early. I was the second car on the lot. As the time came closer to 9am, a few more cars arrived. About 9:15 the owner and a couple of his employees showed up and began to open shop. The owner began to make his assessments on the other vehicles. I thought maybe the people that just showed up were walk-ins; I didnt worry since I had an appointment. When he finally got to me, he turned me away again. He gave me the same shpeel about how there are too many cars and not enough employees and that he had to close shop by 3pm. I told him that he had scheduled me for that time and date and that he should be able to tint my windows. He just didnt seem to care and tried to reschedule me again for the following Saturday. Once again, my time was wasted.Why make an appointment if you cannot keep it? After reading several of the reviews, this seems to be a frequent occurrence at this shop, namely with the owner. Overall, I was treated poorly. The owner had no consideration for his customers time, he was unapologetic, and didnt care as long as his quota was filled for that day. Very unprofessional.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! So the barney rubble looking dude needs work on customer service. So I brought my 2020 Toyota Tundra for windshield, back passenger window and back window tint. Guess what Im back after four days. First, the front windshield has a wrinkle and he claims its normal, since its such a big window and it cant be be done perfect. I seriously doubt that is true because its more of a workmanship flaw. The rear windows has big bubbles and it has to be replaced. The side window has a cluster of bubbles and also has to be replaced. I have to give these guys a second chance from a previous bad experience, but never again. $388 later Im stuck here, so thats my warning to you. There are plenty of good tint shops I suggest you go there....UPDATE: I took my truck to Direct Tint. In Downey and the replaced the front windshield tint. The tint is flawless, so it could be done without imperfections.

Questionable Honesty!Showed up to get an estimate, looked around back “work area” to see the crew working on, and in cars had no masks..OK! ..(IM A HIGH RISK INDIVIDUAL).I stepped into the front office and found the same. The main guy who helps you, had no mask! As I waited, seen one of the installers come in and hand a customer the keys to his vehicle, from bringing it around to front. NO MASK!.. so I finally get a high quote to do a tint and I leave. I was a lil hesitant being that the last time around some bubbles at mid window in film never disappeared as promised.I call later to ask how safe is their practice of installers wearing masks and maybe gloves, the guy in front “in charge” says, he assures me, everyone at the shop wear masks. LIE!.. besides reading all the bad reviews.. the lies was the deal breaker. using them as far back as the 80’s and 7 cars later.. NO MORE BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Horrible .... They scratched my windows and put a dent in my door... Worst place to get ur windows tinted. They also left glue all over and water and soap all on my door...worst place ...DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANBA GET DISSAPOINTED!!!

Didnt get work done but everything from calling to showing up was not good. So i called to get price on tint (take off & put on tint) and was told to come in on Saturday at 8am so they have enough time to get it done. Got there at 8:03am and there was 4 people ahead of me. I thought to myself must be really good then. 15 minutes go by and no one showed up. As I waited there I heard one of the customers talk to one of the workers they were pointing at the tint. Afterwards that worker came to me and asked what we were getting done. I told him the tint and he immediately said we cant do that today. I told him we were told to be here at 8 to make sure it gets done he said you can leave it and well work on it but theres no sun so its going to be harder to work on. Seeing how they said to be here and itll get done and then not AND then seeing the other car with the bubbles in the tint i decided to not risk it. I should have looked at the 3.2 stars they have. Even when i talked to whom ever answered the day before they seem to have a little bit of an attitude. Have three other cars i need done so going to try my luck somewhere else. Im now looking the other reviews and wow! Tint issue after tint issue. Glad i didnt get it done. Oh yeah and that short guy is a sales man definitely not for the customer.

Call ahead of time to make appointment he told me I need no appointment just to get there before 6pm it will take him 30mim to tint my windows .I drove from far to get to the shop got there before 5pm he said I never spoke to him I told him I did he said that he was not able to do it to come back another day . But all this time he is rude talking to me and other client on the phone he fallows me to my car still being rude and tells me he cant do my car. I was upset I drove far and Im just trying to leave and he is still following me and keeps on saying the same thing over and over I just get to my car and drive away .I was very upset waste of my time trip and gas.

Definitely one of the most affordable tint shops. They use A+ quality tint and it comes with warranty. Great selection of wheels and tires. Definitely recommend.

Called them on a random weekday. No wait. Cruised over and they pulled the car right in. Had all windows done in about 90 minutes. Car looks soooo much better now. Price was extremely reasonable as well.I came here two years ago for my Charger and same thing. Done in about 90 minutes to 2 hours with great, quality work.Definitely coming back for any future vehicles!

I stopped by Friday they said come in Saturday early at 730 they open at 8am so I got here owners didnt show till 820 they said it will be ready in 2hrs well its been 61/2 hrs for just 1 window the back $100 babbles in there job going now to take it to a different tint shop o yeah back seat wet thanks.

Tom still here running things with Good staff, some look even familiar but we all changed sum since then lol especially me haha. Anyhow don’t waste your money or time, I’m sure it’s valuable you know? Go to Whittier Tint Shop (WTS) become a regular when you get cars, we work hard for our cars...don’t skim in the alley and get a skim job in a year or two. Go 2 WTS.

I love the tint but just wish they wouldnt half ass the corners, especially when you pay good money for their best tint. They just put a black sticker to cover up there short cut, good thing my husband is bringing it back to have them re-due it.

They have really comfy seats and two tvs set up which is actually really nice of them to do considering theyll have you waiting there for 4 hours for a simple tint. Called ahead and they told me it would be an hour to hour and s half max. Really nice guys it seemed but some honesty would be nice.

Called a day ahead and said I would bring my car at exactly 9, I was there at 850 waiting and by 915 still no one was there. I left and will not recommend a place that can not open at there normal time especially when a customer states he will be there at that time.

This place isnt worth it, they really dont understand business. Short guy who helped me hates his job and really doesnt want to be there. He shouldnt be allowed to talk to customers. I can see why the ratings on here are so bad. They messed up my headlight by letting moisture in because just ripped out the old HiD kit and made me wait a couple of days for LED lights to come in. Went back and short guy gave me excuses. Looks like my light are off at night. Please dont give this place your business. If you dont have time to do it yourself like me please look elsewhere.

Whittier Tint Shop is Awesome!!! Tom the Manager gave me a great deal. Thankyou Jesus!!! What a friendly nice guy!!! When I got there I was very impressed with the look of the place. They have two huge comfy nice looking couches and two big screen tvs that they played a movie on. They also sell gorgeous rims over there. I went in to have my windows done. Manuel who wrote down what I needed done to my windows is a really nice guy too!!! They did a great job on my windows!!! I recommend them to everyone!!! I also made sure I got alot of there business cards so I can share this place to my family friends neighbors etc. I encourage you all who are reading this to go check them out!!! 😁

I recently brought my 02 Nissan to WTS for new tires and rims. I ended walking away with new tint, rims, tires and a radio. The entire staff is very nice and helpful, especially Matt (owner), Hector and Tom. All 3 were very patient to explain the entire process, help with the selection and to ensure I would be happy. My car looks absolutely flawless and I am loving it. I would highly recommend Whittier Tint Shop for all your auto accessories. The shop even has leather couches and they play movies while you wait. This great for killing time while you wait for your vehicle. A++

Brought my brand new 2017 truck here to WTS. All because I was inpatient to wait a few days for xtreme tint to tint my truck. Anyways customer service is horrible not friendly at all. So they tinted up all the windows from front to back. They messed up on 3 out 6 windows. 2 of my windows the edge of the tint didnt line up with the edge of the window which looked horrible and one had a lot of bubbles. I took it back the letting guy at the front desk said the bubbles where normal so they tinted the ones with the bad edge job. This time more bubbles went in again they retinted 2 windows. Months later the drivers windows still had bubbles went it. They told me the that the bubbles where normal and they couldnt do anything about it. Because the tint was good. So after getting upset they wanted to show proof of purchase which I came back with all the paper work. So since they were going to replace the tint I asked for the next shade up. They ended up charging me $50 to do that. Also I just notice they left a big scratch on the door panel. So wish me luck when I go in today to show them. Because theyre going to say it wasnt them. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My whole family goes to Whittier tint shop. For years now. But Im going to have to tell them not to go there anymore. Its a long story but basically my warranty was useless. They disappointed me and theres no reason to go back now. Go somewhere where they actually care.

Worst place to take your vehicle for some tint work. Took my car in to tint the back windows, was told should be done within an 1hr 1-1/2. Went in early and came out 3 hours later. Shouldnt take long to tint 2 midsize windows and the rear window. Especially 3 hours. Never again

My son went in there to get a quote. Store employee told him $150 for the tint he wanted. Also told him if he chose to do it that day hed knock 15% off. My son made the decision to do it within the next hour of that same day and they ended up charging my son $180. Now, how is $180 15% off of $150??? Buyer beware. Shady practices going on over there! Clearly took advantage of a young, inexperienced kid!!!

Ive brought 3 of my cars here for window tint to these guys, each time Ive had to bring my car back because of the quality of work that was done. From bubbles to incorrect installation. I gave them chance after chance. On the third time, I was there at 9am when they open and no one was there till about 915. Then I was told to wait another 10-15 minutes till they set up in order to help me. I will never come back and dont suggest anyone go there. Customer service isnt the greatest either. Also having to bring your car in once a year in order for them to honor your warranty is B***S***. Theres a great place for tint in cypress, way better customer service and did not have one problem the 1st time.

This place isnt what it used to be they dont honor their warranty for the tint people shouldnt have to take their time once out of the year to have their windows inspected in order to keep their warranty valid if they guarantee no peeling or bubbling and no fading then they should back it up.people have better things to do then to have to go back to the Wts

LOCATION: Next to a gas station by the freeway. Difficult access if youre traveling easy on Whittier Blvd... in fact that turn would be illegal. No Pinkberry, Starbucks, or McAdees (or anything alike) around... I got hungry while waiting.INSIDE: They have a nice lounge complete with cable TV for waiting. I took a nap on their leather couch, then got some writing done.SERVICE: In the 3 hrs + that I was there, No one offered me champagne or coffee. Water would be nice!WAIT: I didnt know tint work took forever, but they were also busy. It was Saturday morning.THE WORK: I got the cheap option with a 5 year warranty and free yearly NON-OPTIONAL inspections. Ill update in 15 days if tint fails, otherwise well done WTS!

I wouldnt even rate you 1 star, since there is no zero. I took my truck to get limo tint. The owner or the boss said that he was backed up with cars had a special audi. Is like my truck aint good enough sorry. Told me to come back the next day with appoinment. So I did, i told him that I be the one driving in because i didnt want anyone to drive my truck. He said well i dont want you hitting my expensive tool box. Then he checked out my vehicle and told me that it was already tinted and that it was going to be 3 to 4 hrs, if i wanted to bring it another day. I was like see yah Dick! Very BAD service.

It seems they have no time for new customers. they said my job takes 3 hrs. its 1130am and they close at 6pm. lot looked empty. unfriendly. im not even from this neighborhood, but i was reffered by someone who lives down the street. im thinking now that my buddy played a good joke on me when he said i should go to this place. they should stay tucked behind the freeway and out of the public view. i would say avoid these guys, but they wouldnt have time for you anyways, so thank you gentlemen

I wanted my windows tinted, and I wanted it done professionally. I had seen the WTS (Whittier Tint Shop) license plates all over town (which should have tipped me off, given the fact that California State law requires that all motor vehicles and light trucks have a license plate displayed on both the front and back of the vehicle. (California Vehicle Code §5200)). The service was lightning fast, and I was called to pickup my car. The rep asked me to initial here and sign there, however the initial part stated Owner has been informed as to the law in the state of California and releases liability to Whittier Tint Shop. I refused to sign, as I was not informed. I asked about the law and the rep informed me that it is against the law to tint the front driver side and passenger side windows. With this newfound knowledge I requested the film to be removed, as I did not wish to break the law. (I did some research later at home and found that is not the law, in fact the law allows a light tint (70%)). I waited for like 8 minutes, Im tellin you the service was fast! During that time I was thinking that I paid for a 4 door tint job, and now Im only getting a 2 door, so I asked for a refund on the extra tint. The sales rep had the nerve to tell me, I should really charge you $20 for removal of that tint. I asked politely if he would rather refund me the $30 difference of the 2door and 4door or lose the $130 altogether from a credit card dispute. He insisted that he gets disputes regularly (really?) and that I should go for it. I asked for his business card and decided to wait until Monday to dispute, as I wanted to try and settle the issue with the owner if I could. He called me on my way home and said he would refund me the $30, but that he needed my credit card in person to do so (Are you kidding me? I just got home!) About 5 minutes later he called back and said OK, the $30 was charged back to your card, you can check your statement it will be on there. Absolutely no apology or sympathy for the hassle. The PROS: They get you out FAST. The CONS: They may leave you FURIOUS.

I took my mustang convertible to get tint and install a new stereo with speakers. The stereo was installed incorrectly, damaged my door panels and speakers disconnect!! Tint job was not very good eather, falling off. And they took all day!!!!

I came to this place in March to get my two front windows tinted the guy at the counter sold me on a deal to get all my windows tinted I asked the guy I have tint on the back ones would it be a problem he said noI take it back today because the tint was pealing on the second tint (the one they put) and they void my warranty
