I’ve been a resident since June 2020 and everything has gone downhill from top to bottom. Starting inside my Apartment infested with ants and the staff reply is the pest control comes on Friday’s, and as you step out of my apartment the interior hallways, doors and elevators are terribly dirty and reek of potent marijuana!Outside of complex the lawn care has declined, dead trees haven’t been pulled up since the freeze 7 months ago. Shrubs are neatly trimmed in the entrance of the building but in the back they are not.The clubhouse and lounge area cost another $300 to reserve after paying a $25 “lifestyle fee” included in the rent every month.
Stayed in this community for more than 2 yrs from June 2019 to Aug 2021. This was a wonderful place to stay. Location is pretty close to good places to eat, wallmart, heb and downtown. Management is excellent. Maintenance requests (very few) were taken care of immediately. Gym, Pool, Common areas are all excellent. People in the community are very friendly.
Halle was a wonderful leasing agent that helped me all along the way from touring to moving in! I love my apartment, the community and all the amenities. Great location for those looking for a quiet, safe community that is still pretty close to everything fun. My dog LOVES the dog park and also appreciates the elevator. Very happy to call this home.
Living in this community has been a great experience. The staff has really handled Covid and the winter storm well. Very communicative, which means so much in times like these. Alex has helped me out with the minor maintenance issues that I have had. Response time is impeccable. I have just renewed for another term and look forward to being taken care of and having another great year!
I love this place, so far the whole experience has been good and very grateful to Sarah, who helped me at all times in my move and had all the patience with me. It is a quiet place, I love my apartment, and Eros (my dog) is very happy in the dog park. So far the whole experience has been very good.
This apartment and the layout of rooms/ balcony, etc is superb. We, my wife and I, enjoy the environments and various amenities. The management team is very courteous and very responsive, as always. The maintenance crew is very friendly and always meet our repair requirements within reasonable time frame. Great to live here and enjoy the atmosphere. Windsor Oak has a great attitude to take care of tenants in every respect and especially during the long duration of power failure and water problems. Great place to live.
Windsor Oak Hill is hands-down the best community Ive ever lived in! The homes are beautiful, the grounds are clean and well-kept, and the amenities are super nice. Most importantly, the staff is phenomenal. The community was effected by the ice storm and management has been extremely communicative, empathetic, and working tirelessly to restore services. They have brought food trucks to the community to provide free meals to residents, provided stipends for hotel stays up to $150/ per night, and of course, provided free bottled water. The Windsor staff has gone above and beyond to care for their residents. Although many of their team members dont have water in their own homes, serving their residents remains their priority. I couldnt be more grateful for all their hard work. Thank you, Team Windsor Oak Hill!
Nice, clean, up to date apartment community. Friendly staff. Maintenance is effective and polite- just today John showed up and changed the fridge water filter and some burnt bulbs - fast response time.3 BR floor plan is very functional. Ohhh and we have elevators... not bad when moving or carrying groceries
Apartments are really nice. Pool is great, gym is adequate. Property is always clean. Mail room is legit as well. They have Reserved Spots, Carports AND Garages so a ton of options. Best part about this place is the Staff and Maintenance.Long story short, I dropped my keys down the Elevator shaft at around 2AM and Alex came out got me a new key and had me in my apartment in around 10 minutes from incident! Thanks!
Moved in at the beginning of the year and I love it here! The staff is very friendly and the amenities are fabulous!! My friends always comment and tell me they should have signed here lol. I like that its usually very quiet and the property is high quality. Management was very accommodating during the winter storm and they were prompt when giving updates on maintenance repairs and outages. The neighborhood is great and not too far from some of Austins great attractions.
I just got off the phone with management after taking a survey detailing why I was unhappy with my stay. Their solutions to my issues were basically to flip the apartment as soon as possible and they offered to let me find a tenant for them...The two positive things I have to say about Windsor Oak Hill is that they are in a good location and do work to communicate with residents, but the solutions are never quite what you expect and will typically favor their own bottom line. While a lot of my problems with the apartment were out of their hands, rent is expensive and they advertise themselves as a luxury property. Parking is far depending on the time you get home, parking lines are drawn improperly, you can hear neighbors and the dump is far. If its possible Id look somewhere else for the price, but if you dont have much time then this place will do.
Relocated from east coast to Austin two years ago. Critical for my wife and I were convenience to drive to airport (work and family visits), and downtown. Also of importance - comfort! Windsor Oak Hill checked all of those boxes and then some. The amenities are really great- we enjoy BBQs on nice nights outside, and sit by the pool to eat. Most views are really incredible- we enjoyed many nights having a cocktail hour on our apartment deck. The attentiveness of the staff (Chad A+++!) has been one of the reasons why we always recommend WOH to those looking for a very nice apartment complex coming from out of town. You can talk nice walks/runs all around the area. Neighbors very polite. And this group is VERY dog friendly! If my kids moved to Austin (they are older now!) I would recommend they moved here.
Windsor Oak Hill is a great property. Not only are the units very nice and the amenities top-notch, but management is extremely nice and helpful. For example, during the winter storm, they prorated rent for all days without running water, they paid for food trucks and warming buses, provided water and snacks, and they paid for hotels for residents on nights without water.
Ive been living in Windsor Oak Hill for almost a year and half now, and am very happy here. The community is well kept, and the management is very friendly and responsive to tenants needs and requests. The maintenance team (Alex, John, and Oscar) also do an awesome job of responding to requests and taking care of things prompt and thoroughly. For anyone looking to rent, I highly recommend it here =).
I had no pressure in my shower and sink faucet. The maintenance team was quick to jump on it. John handled everything quickly and was super friendly. John is one of the many reasons to choose Windsor Oak Hill.
Lived at Windsor for almost 2 years. Great location and layouts. Staff is awesome. Sarah was awesome and helped me out when I was moving out of my place and ensuring I received my mail and that I was all taken care of when my lease was up.
Upscale. Brand New. Clean. Modern. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic service. Even a welcome gift! Cant say Ive lived at a better apartment community than this.
Move in process was quick and easy! Sarah helped with any and all questions I had and gave a great tour of the apartment and amenities. Love the dog park and the residents I have met have all been very kind.
Weve been very happy at Windsor Oak Hill. The leasing agent handled our visit to view the apartment during Covid-19 with appropriate care and precautions. We had a little frustration with the leasing process taking too long, but that has been the only minor issue. The apartment was very clean and well maintained when we moved in and has been very comfortable. It meets our needs well. The complex is quiet and pleasant. Maintenance is relatively responsive. I would definitely recommend Windsor Oak Hill.
I have lived here for a little over two years now and must say I highly rec this place. My dog and I love it. I have had a couple of transfers within the complex to change floor plans and they have been more than accommodating. As for the complex itself, super nice, wonderful options of floorplans/amenities, AWESOME dog park.We recently had a snow storm that wiped out power and water for residents and much of TX (ie not the properties fault). I cannot say enough about what the complex has done for residents. They have worked round the clock to get water to residents as well as bringing in warming buses and food trucks (with vouchers) for residents to be able to get warm and fed during this trying time. In addition, they have been sending daily updates on the water situation and on the progress of getting it restored. I do not feel in the dark as a resident whatsoever.I was here before this complex was owned by Windsor but I am so happy with the change. The management team and maintenance is always extremely helpful as well as friendly.
I lived at Windsor Oak Hill for 2 years. I was actually a resident back when Hanover owned the property. The only reason I moved out was because my employer was moving offices further up north. I wanted to ensure that my commute was still under 30 minutes. The staff (both in the office and in maintenance) were always very polite, helpful, and genuinely cared about my time living at Windsor. Chad, John, and the rest of the team were very prompt with any issues I experienced on the property (very, very few of them) and were always quick in resolving them. For anyone looking for a resort-style, fun atmosphere a little bit away from the city, I highly recommend this property. It also helps that the pool area is absolutely massive with great views off of the Oak Hill area.
We lived at Windsor Oak Hills for 14 months & our experience there was amazing. The apartment complex is great in quality & has fantastic amenities. Additionally, what matters to me the most is the people I deal with and I was very impressed by the entire office staff @ Windsor Oak Hill. On the day of our move in, Chad Roberts from the leasing office greeted us with a complimentary Champagne and he was so helpful throughout our stay. If you are looking for a quality lifestyle and love to deal with professional and courteous people, I would strongly recommend Windsor Oak Hill.
Living at Windsor is convenient if you work for companies such as AMD, arm, intel, or Solar Winds. Both downtown and the airport are roughly 15 minutes driving distance since Mopac and 290 are close by. There are plenty of scenic views surrounding the complex, and there are a number of sidewalks already paved along Rialto blvd as well.As for amenities, since the complex was built in 2018, you can expect the full list including indoor hallways+elevators and fiber internet. YMMV for noise between neighbors, but I havent had any major issues in that regard. I would have liked covered/garage parking to be cheaper though.I do not expect lease rates to go down anytime soon considering the state of property values in Austin. Therefore, its hard for me to say for sure if you are getting a good value for the monthly rate.
I have lived here since May 2019. I have watched changing of the staff as the complexed grew with new renters. Often we forget to say positive words for the grounds folks, those you see all the time keeping the property clean and beautiful. First time meeting him for repairs, I want to give a shout out to John. He came and mades the changes and check other areas without hesitation: polite and professional. I also want to give a shout out to Alex who has come on a couple of occasions to make repairs. He is also polite and professional. I have not rented since 1986. These 2 guys have restored my faith in rental property living.
Really loved my time at these apartments. Well kept, nice amenities and apartments, and Chad is such an asset and extremely helpful and responsive. I had to move quickly and sight unseen, and he was great doing the video tour and getting things moving.
Recently moved in here with my girlfriend and we absolutely love it. The front office staff was awesome and helped us get into the perfect apartment. The maintenance team is also very professional, we recently got help with our screen door by John Ackerman and he was great! He was really knowledgable and made us feel comfortable reaching out if we had any more issues. All around great service and I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for an apartment
Wow John was very professional. He is such an asset to the team. I am very Thankful for all is help.
One of the best apartment complexes in the Austin area! This apartment has it all even Elevators which is amazing for bringing in items from the car! Huge Dog park that actually has 2 different areas. One thing that separates this apartment complex from the rest is the staff, Chad in the office is fantastic and anytime I have a question I can email them and they will get back to me same day!
We live in Windsor Oak Hill for 6 months & we love it. Staff in maintenance, John is very professional and efficient.
I lived here for over a year and absolutely loved it and I miss it already. I always felt safe, I loved the views, we LOVED the dog park, and management is the best I’ve ever worked with. They treat you like you’re a human being and not just a tenant. I’ve lived in 6 different apartment complexes (I move a lot!) and this was by far my favorite place I’ve ever lived! It can’t be beat. Thank you Windsor team! Y’all are the best.
We spoke to multiple leasing agents in Austin and the customer service and accommodations provided by Chad at Windsor Oak Hill was top notch! I highly recommend Chad to anyone looking for a professional polite experience!
Beautiful hotel like complex located in SW Austin with Hill Country views. One of a kind outside of downtown Austin. My clients absolutely LOVE their new home. Their feedback to me is its quite, clean, secure, and comfortable. Theyre home at last! Thank you to Thomas the leasing agent for all his expertise and Cory the Manager for his personal touch reaching out to me. I definitely recommend this complex!
I lived here for a year and it was Great! The amenities are awesome! I felt safe at this place, the apartments main door entrance is in the interior of the building. Location is amazing, close to Movie Theater, Hill Country Galleria, lots of other places.Chad the manager is Super friendly and was so helpful with everything, especially in getting my Deposit back. There was a technical error in my forwarding address and he personally took care of it. I would definitely Live here again!
I recently moved into Windsor Oak Hill, the staff and management is super supportive and helpful throughout the process. The community is kept clean and feels like home. Very Friendly.
Weve lived at Hanover Oak Hill for a few months now, and have had an amazing experience. The maintenance staff has been beyond courteous and helpful with all of the little things involved with moving into a brand new building. The office staff is also incredibly friendly and professional, going above and beyond for the residents. We love the convenient location, overall comfort of a nice brand new complex, and really appreciate the thought and effort that was put into designing the dog park!
Thank you John and team for all of your help today!!
I went on a tour at Hanover and Jess made my experience so wonderful! She was welcoming, friendly, and so attentive to everything I requested. She kept my living requirements in mind and emphasized specifically on those requirements. Although the property is not finished yet she was knowledgeable about the construction and placement of soon to be amenities. Thanks for a great experience!!
The place is well maintenaned and the leasing office person 👦 is very responsive. Gym is now Open for 14 members at a time.
From start to finish throughout our move in process Jessi, Justin and the rest of the staff have been AMAZING! They all worked so well in communicated everything to us and getting us in quick. The staff alone sets the community apart from others. I am so happy we moved here and the property is stellar in itself.
PEST FILLED AND RODENT INFESTED COMMUNITYStay away unless you want to live in the middle of bugs, pests and rodents. Management does a poor job of maintaining the community. Also, poor landscaping all around that leads to even more pest infestation. After paying such high rent and separate pest control fee, it is so disappointing to have such poor pest control.
I love living at Hanover Oak Hill! The units are so nice and upgraded, there are tons of amenities, and the proximity to Mopac and downtown is perfect. The views are absolutely stellar in the Austin hill country, and living in this community is a little piece of paradise. The staff is super friendly, and all of the neighbors Ive met so far are really nice and respectful. Definitely a place worth checking out!
I have been living here for a little over a month. I can’t put into words how exceptional of an experience this has been. Everyone downstairs is so kind and responsive to our needs. There is a real peace of mind that comes with living here. We get 3 times the value of what we are actually paying for. It literally feels like I’m at a resort! I love it and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Thanks for all you do everyone, you’re efforts don’t go unnoticed!
This apartment complex is a solid 1 star. I moved here when they were still Hanover, and the complex was clean and well kept. Now, the complex is littered with pet waste, the hallways smell, and are not kept clean. I accepted a higher rent because of the new, modern condition of the building while it was still Hanover, and now I regret that decision once it switched owners. Smoking is prohibited, and there are still individuals who consistently smoke on the grounds of the apartment. The grounds has had construction projects that remain incomplete for months at a time. The security gates are often left open, and one security entrance has remained unusable for 5+ months. I am anxiously awaiting for my lease to end to relocate to another non-Windsor community.
Listen up folks cause I have quite the story!I lived at Camden Gaines Ranch before I moved to this lovely apartment complex. At Camden I was recently mugged, car stolen, purse stolen and partly due to the fact of lack of security( which you very much learn to appreciate after events like that) Now... I know you can’t prevent these kinds of things happening at apartment complexes but to say that they were negligent in a lot of areas is putting it lightly ( I’ll spare you the details and move on to why you’re reading this..)Chad was a godsend. He proceeded with kid gloves to make sure I found a spot I was comfortable in. I am in real estate and I run across leasing professionals all the time. Chad was a whole other caliber of customer service and care. It’s kind of like the difference between going to Ross or Neiman Marcus. The complex is beautiful. Well lit. Cleaned daily by staff. VERY dog friendly 😍. Lots of friendly neighbors. And most importantly... I feel safe. The inside of my apartment is high end. Everything is really well done. After a month of being here... no complaints. If you’re considering other complexes...Seriously... go see Chad.
Stay far away. I have never had a more unorganized, careless, and unprofessional experience working with a front office. We applied for a unit 2 and a half weeks ago, and have been practically pulling teeth from the front office just to get the lease sent to us ever since. This is after mentioning many times that we were in a time crunch. We were promised on multiple occasions that the lease would be sent over the same day and it never was. Instead we were given false promises and empty apologies by not only the leasing staff, but the manager and corporate area manager as well. This is not a luxury experience. The last straw came after setting up an appointment with the manager. Upon arrival, there were multiple residents waiting to meet with the manager as well who had appointments. Turns out the manager blew off all of the appointments scheduled that day. Thankfully, this gave us the chance to talk to current residents who reaffirmed with their horror stories just how fortunate we are to not have already signed here. Do yourself a favor and dodge this bullet. It is clear there is a long chain of management here, on and off property, that just does not care.
This place is absolutely stunning. The rooms are literally what Id expect to see in an upper-tier suite at a 4-5 star hotel/resort, the staff and front desk are unbelievably nice and helpful to the point of almost being like a full concierge, the views from anywhere on the premises overlook the beauty of the Barton Springs area, and I could hardly believe that it only cost as much as the rent I was paying at our last place!
Just recently leased and set to move in in a few weeks. Keith was very helpful, the place is beautiful and the area is one of the best in Austin. Super thrilled!
John is an awesome maintenance guy!!
UPDATE: June 8th, 2020 (Last reviewed in May 2019 before the acquisition)Just turned in the keys today! The complex went through an acquisition since my last review (Hanover Oak Hill to Windsor Oak Hill) but there was no negative impact in regards to the level of service. Assistant Manager Chad Roberts has been a great help throughout our stay and we left on good terms (found a place with a bigger yard for the pups!)Overall Impressions:- This place is a bit pricier, but you get more space per cost compared to living near the water.- Ill miss the appliances... the high water pressure and modern appliances were amazing! We were the first ones to live in our unit so everything was brand new.- The dog park is great. Its a huge space and theres a built-in dog washing station and water fountain.- The detached garages were a huge help. I have a ton of fishing/paddleboard gear so it was definitely worth the additional garage, not to mention it saves your car from the summer heat/winter freeze...
The new management staff are really professional and polite.I didnt really appreciate the Hanover folks, they seemed arrogant and often rude.
So far so good.
