Jennifer in the front office is so helpful!! She was prompt and extremely professional. Although she was busy she took time to go over exact costs, answered my questions and shared what moving in would entail. She seemed to be handling the office by herself and deserves a raise IMO! I am super happy she was there to assist me and look forward to moving in to my new place!

Maria and Elizabeth were super helpful! We were moving pretty fast on our search and were only considering units with a yard AND a garage and Maria found a way to show us what the actual unit would look like instead of a model (which is always nice). They are super friendly and informative. Did I mention we love our yard and spacious garage? This is one of the larger yards youll find in apartment living within the Austin city limits. Floor plans are nice and spacious too. With the complex, you get a 1 year membership of Shipt which is great because the grocery stores are a little ways away -- it removes the delivery fee. There is an Amazon Hub and the pool and lounging spaces are great! The fitness center has all the basics, but doesnt have a smith machine/squat rack. Thats really all its missing! My preference is to have open parking (with the exception of covered parking of course), but thats not the case here. Your visitors will need to register online AND park in a visitors spot. Registering online is no big deal, but the visitor parking can be inconvenient. I wish it was just open parking with the registration of the vehicle online. *Fingers crossed maybe one day?*All in all -- we love the Nine on Shoreline and are happy we leased here.

I moved to Austin three months ago from Japan and needed a place to call home. After what seemed to be a fruitless quest, I chanced upon The Nine on Shoreline. I was very much amazed with how Tatiana went out of her way to help me find a perfect apartment and with every detail of the leasing process. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job and does her best to give clients and visitors the best experience possible. The rooms are spacious and have been recently renovated. I would recommend the Nine on Shoreline to anyone wanting to have a smooth leasing process out here and a place to call home in Austin and the Wells Branch area.

The apartment managers show zero concern for resident issues. Another resident attempted to assault not only me, but my infant, and they first off refused to answer a single call, pretended not to be in the office although the sign on the door says they were available via phone, and then when they finally responded to my email, they said they werent going to do anything. This is a terrible way to treat people. I see other people have commented about the manager and I have the same issue. There was a different manager here when I moved in and she was way better than Maria. They can apparently keep your vehicle information on file to tow any car that isnt listed but they cant use that information to identify a crazy person who goes around trying to harm children.

We have been living here for a year now, and really appreciate what The Nine on Shoreline has to offer. Tatiana and Stephany in the front office are helpful wonders who have been able to answer any questions we have had while also addressing our concerns in a timely manner. Mail and parking have never been a problem, and the amenities are easy to use and well maintained. The location between I-35 and Mopac expressway is ideal for driving downtown into Austin or further up into Round Rock with the drive into Austin being on average 25 minutes with no traffic, and only an hour at the worst despite the distance. I am definitely recommending this place to whoever may be looking at apartments.

We just moved from one apartment in this complex to a newly refurbished apartment within the same complex. The stainless steel appliances and grayish wood floors are a beautiful combination. Also, the gray floors dont allow you to see dirt easily, unlike darker wood floors which require constant cleaning. Our new apartment excels the old place in style 10-fold. The Assistant Manager, Michael, has taken great care of us and gone above and beyond. John, Lexi, and Michael are quite the team and are easy to talk with. They are friendly and on the ball. We had to push our move date out a few days and Michael helped make that a smooth process. He communicated everything we would need to smoothly make the transition without a bunch of back and forth additions of required paperwork. The pool, the landscaping, and the gym are top notch. I love the walk-in, stone-paved portion of the pool! It makes me feel like Im on a beach. The landscape surrounding the pool helps keep a private feel that you just dont get at other apartment complexes. The gym has a great layout and paint colors and plenty of equipment in great condition. This is our second lease with this complex and we are happy call The Nine on Shoreline home awhile longer until we purchase a home. Thank you, Michael, Lexi, and John.

I have lived here for a couple of months and absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly, courteous, helpful, and responsive. Lexie is always so helpful any time I need something. She and the whole management team have always made me feel like part of a family by greeting me by name and making me feel welcomed. My apartment is updated, with brand new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a spacious bathroom with a garden tub, and a huge balcony with storage. One of my favorite parts of the apartment is the beautiful pool and the landscaping around the complex. The staff does a wonderful job maintaining the complex. Maintenance is extremely prompt in completing service orders; less than a 24 hr turn-around time. They are very pet friendly here and I have never seen an issue with people leaving deposits on the ground for people to step in. It is not unusual to see people walking their dogs. The amazing thing is that I havent heard one dog bark yet. Another thing I have noticed is how quiet it is here. I rarely hear my neighbors and the neighborhood is nestled in between a subdivision and church. The entire complex is surrounded by trees. The common areas are also canopied by trees giving a wonderful environment to live.Out of all the complexes I have lived at around and in the Austin area I have to say that The Nine on Shoreline tops them all. I give this complex and their phenomenal staff 5 stars all the way around.

Nothing is ever perfect, everything is subject to error. Life is full of pros and cons. After previously spending, probably 15 hours, researching/viewing/deciding on an apartment, I still think after 1 year, that this was the best choice. It wasnt until 10:35pm last night when my dishwasher was leaking all over my floor and maintenance showed up within 10 minutes, that I realized, I needed to write this review. I am so grateful for the attention that has been paid to make sure, that whatever the situation may be, its taken care of and residences are happy.I could say so much; how much I love my apartment, the neighborhood, the friends Ive met, the pool, etc. But just take my advice and save your time looking and give the Nine on Shoreline a try. There simply wasnt another complex that compared when I researched all of Austin. Prime location and price point, especially for the properties value. Everyone will make sure that youre taken care of. If you have an issue, you just have to say something.Hope this helps you, looking forward to another year here!

BIG PROBLEMS!!!! NOT PET FRIENDLY AT ALL!!!!These apartments are beautiful. The space is not the issue. Management is 100% a problem. Biggest issue is getting packages! You can only get them during office hours, which mind you are only until 5PM. Anyone with a normal day job does not get off work until 5 or later. Second issue, is when I go to get packages, they ask for an apartment number, and they take one 2 second look at the wall of mail boxes and say nope theres nothing here. On multiple occasions, I have literally seen my package sitting on the ground in front of their feet. With my exact description of the package and my apartment number in BOLD SHARPIE written on the side. Not only are they careless but theyre lazy in the fact that they just dont want to pay attention. I have had problems on multiple occasions with not getting packages, and their excuse is maybe check to make sure it was delivered and I show them EVERY SINGLE TIME the confirmation from the shipping company that it has been delivered.Problem solution: GET A SHIPMENT LOCKER!!! Most apartment complexes around here have lockers that are available 24/7! Get with the times! Everyone lives online and orders more things now than ever. I have a package almost every day and Im seriously tired of fighting with the management about my packages. Not only are these problems present, the people in the office are straight up rude. They were nice when I first moved in, but now there is attitude every time I walk in there.I moved in 2 months ago and signed a 10 month lease. You can 100% bet that I will be moving after this year. No questions about it.

I have lived at the Marquis Shoreline over 2 yrs, and am on my 3rd lease. I have never had any issue with the office staff or maintenance crew. I first signed up with James, and he is always friendly and helpful, with a treat for my dog when I bring her in. The few times I have had a maintenance request it was handled quickly and professionally. All of the maintenance guys are always friendly, and eager to help with any problem. They have a big complex to take care of and do a great job.I walk my dog around every day, and any trash or problems are taken care of quickly. The trash compactor and recycling dumpster used to overflow sometimes at the end of the weekend, but were always cleaned up quickly the next day. And I noticed that a larger dumpster was brought in, and the compactor is serviced more frequently now, which solved the problem. The location is great, with Round Rock, 35, and Mopac very close. I also am fortunate to have an apt facing the soccer/volleyball/football field and outdoor kitchen. I enjoy my home, and would not still be here if I didnt. This is a unique, well run community, and I have recommended it to several friends.

Marquis Shoreline is now under new management, or a lack thereof. Ive only lived here since April of this year, however, Ive already noticed a HUGE difference in the quality of service, maintenance, and communication or the lack thereof. First of, the number thats on their new website doesnt work. I have no way of getting in contact with the office unless I leave work early to get there before the offices close. Theyve attempted to make no communication with the residents here to inform us of the upcoming changes. I wasnt aware that the apartments name had changed until yesterday. The online payment capability is no longer available. I have not received an invoice for the total amount due for rent this month or last month. My husband and I just moved from Florida to Texas. After we submitted our application, I have to admit I was nervous because of the negative reviews. We decided to take a chance and so far, were glad we did. For one, the staff is great. Bailey, the agent who was helping me from the beginning while I was still in Florida has been amazing. Shes always helpful, super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. She even greeted me with a hug when I arrived. I felt as if I knew her for years. The complex is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The apartment itself is pretty spacious for a one bedroom. We live on the third floor with the vault ceilings which makes the apartment look more like a house especially with the fireplace. Love it.The only thing I wish it had was more parking near the building where I live. I sometimes have to park a couple of buildings away but that doesnt seem to be a problem with the buildings towards the opposite side of me. There are, however, garages and car ports next to each building that you can rent so it really isnt the end of the world. Also what I find just a little annoying is that it can be difficult to walk through when youre going to your apartment. There is a parking space thats blocking the entry so it can be difficult to walk by without bumping into the car. Im assuming it used to be an actual path to walk but because of the lack of parking spots, they might have created a parking space. Still, not a big deal.Other than those two things, I am very happy living here. I think the quietness, cleanliness, and the excellence of the staff and how well they have treated me and my husband makes up for it. I highly recommend this complex. You cant always go by negative reviews. Im glad we took a chance. Thanks to Bailey for making this transition smooth and welcoming me and my husband to Texas 🤠

Pretty happy here - I wont say 5 stars, but thats due more to minor inconveniences and annoyances than anything particularly wrong with the property. We like the apartment itself, its pretty quiet for the most part. The biggest sell for us was that our apartment is carpet-free, which makes a HUGE difference in how I feel about this place vs. other apartments weve had. I LOVE my floors here, just a quick swiffer and the floor is clean. Of the things I wish I could change.. too many people in the complex walk their dogs and dont pick up after them. Sometimes the pet stations are lacking bags (like late on Sundays), but honestly, I think every dog owner should be prepared for that, and have their own bags, or bring along a paper towel or something. So yeah, I wish more residents would pick up after their pets. Also, too often I see dogs and owners together without leashes, which is a concern to me as a pet owner. That said, they recently sent out an email about keeping pets on leashes, and Ive seen improvement since then. Nathan in the front office is very nice, and always greets us by name when he sees us in the office or around the complex. Hes extremely friendly and helpful, always asking how were doing, and how the apartment is. We will certainly be renewing our lease when the time comes.

I dont know about the other peoples problems, but I think people use these things for payback after they are late on their rent and have to pay a fee. I was in sales for 15 years, suit and tie kinda fellow and 90% of the time people never meet up to my personal and professional expectations when I vote w/ my dollar for services rendered. I just give it to them b/c I dont have time usually to go elsewhere. NATE, the new guy....was my representative when I inquired about this apartment. I just had a bad experience w/ a REP. at another apartment on Grand Avenue where I went in to sign a lease, and they rented to someone else after they promised to lease to me, then pulled the bait and switch to a lager one bedroom, ran into NATE 30 minutes later and he was one of the most PROFESSIONAL people I have run into in a really long time, STARBUCKS KINDA PROFESSIONAL, BUT BETTER!!! I was frustrated by my previous encounters trying to secure a place to live as I was a Newbie to town and tired of searching that whole week. NATE SAT ME DOWN AND DIDNT MISS A BEAT, UNTIL THE END WHEN HE WAS NAVIGATING THE OFFICE SOFTWARE, SMALL HICKUP, NO BIG DEAL, HAD TO ASK A HALF A DOZEN QUESTIONS TO JAMES....TOOK, 10 MINUTES LONGER THAN I ANTICIPATED, THEN HE INFORMED ME, I WAS HIS 1ST LEASE, I MADE FUN OF HIM AND CALLED HIM A PROPERTY VIRGIN!!! Even new guys have to ask questions when learning the software, right?!? You should see me on my new software I am still learning, I am a bumbling idiot compared to NATE! He remembered my last name as he introduced me to the UPS guy that delivers to the office daily when I had a package show up, I was impressed!!! Shoreline Marquis here on the edge of Round Rock has far better amenities than apartments even 3 miles away. Crown Molding in my living room, nice counter tops, I am happy w/ the price I am paying compared to central Austin that would cost me $200-$300 more than what I am getting here. I like James too and the young lady running the show there. I would buy a house from NATE if he sold them, buy a car from NATE is he was a car guy, trust everyone here w/ taking care of my Dog, which I love dearly, and wouldnt entrust that to certain family members. But this crew actually is accountable to their organization, and I speculate to the rest of their clients as they have so clearly demonstrated to me. Walter M. apartment # 1128.

Pretty nice apartment complex. It is quiet, and has an excellent location for shopping and access to Mopac or I-35. The pool is nice as well as the Park area in the middle of the complex with a nice gazebo and grill we can use. When we first moved in here, our bathroom counter-tops had orange burn marks on them (not exactly luxury) and the old management (CWS) said theres nothing we can do about it. When the new management took over (Pinnacle), they promptly repainted it and made it look like new, as well as completely repainted our kitchen counter-tops because the clear coat had worn off. The front office staff is always very helpful and the manager John is always available to talk to residents and help them; not like other complexes where its like pulling teeth to speak to the manager. Me and my roommate have lived here for almost a year. And all I can say is that both old management and new management are disappointing. Old management wasnt great but reasonable. New management I understand that you have taken over what probably seemed like a mess but you are not communicating with the community which is vital. You leave a note at my door telling me I have to give you my information, when you should already have all of this, I cant get a copy of my lease, you want to charge me for things that protect me under the fair housing act. I say I need a bigger apt and instead of working with us like previous management you want to charge me an outrageous amount and extend my lease. All I can say is Im counting days so this bad experience is over and its unfortunate. I wouldnt recommend this place to any one at this point even with its good location.

Dont even bother with this place. .in one year my refrigerator broke 3 times and had to throw everything away each time. . .my disposal exploded the 1st day I was there. .all the paint peels off the cabinets when you clean them . .my toilet was so corroded the handle would get stuck and it over flowed I wish I could post pictures ! So I was charged $400+ in flood damages for something that wasnt my fault and now Im being charged $500+ to replace carpet. Lindsey in the front office is so un professional just because I had to contact the renters association to request a refund for the flood in my apartment. . .dont waist your time this place is getting run down quick. .

Updated review (5/5 stars) - after 1 year we resigned the lease, not just because were too lazy to move, but we actually like it here. The apartment management is making some really good changes - updating the gym (dont know when its expected to reopen), overall face lift to the exterior, and the pool was reopened after about a month of being closed down. The maintenance is always very quick. Overall nice place to live. EXCEPT THEY DONT CLEAN the POOL often enough! They only shock it on Mondays, so by Wednesday its already nasty - dead bugs, leaves, branches, trash. They really need to be cleaning the pool at least every other day.Beware about parking though - new policy is 1 parking spot per 1br, 2 spots for 2br, etc. Obviously you can pay for a covered parking spot, park in the front at night, or park on the street.Initial review (3 of 5 stars):Overall, its ok. The apartment itself is very nice, has nice amenities - large bathroom, kitchen open to the living area, and a decent porch for the 1br apartments. Nice finishes on the appliances, walls are painted grey, and there is even crown molding. Theres a nice pool and a really fancy grilling area. The pictures online are definitely accurate. However, we have been disappointed with several things though. 1) The gym barely passes for one - there are 3 treadmills, 2 of which have been broken the since weve moved in 6 or so months ago. 2) The pool has been closed down (by the city!!) since the mid August. Unacceptable in Texas, where one could definitely go swimming well into Sept. 3) The entrance at night to be dangerously dim - its only a matter of time before someone crashes into the median. A spotlight is definitely needed there. In general, it seems decent, but definitely room for improvement - ideally sooner rather than later.

I moved here for a job. We were staying in a hotel and the day that we checked out and was heading over here with our children the apartment complex called and stated that we would have to wait an additional 2 weeks to move in because of a minor cockroach problem. Although they were very nice and professional it caused a huge inconvenience and stress on our part. They were able to debug immediately but the small lil cockroach problem that they mentioned was a little bit minimized because when we moved in clearly it was an infestation. I would not call this a luxury apartment at all and I think that area is definitely taking advantage of those moving into the area. The prices are a little bit high and its cheaper to just buy a house for those who are able to or even to rent a house. The prices have definitely gone up since we have moved in here and in California we were able to have our townhouse with a backyard for about 2200 with our dogs and I think the prices here have gone up to 1600 just for a 3 bedroom 2 bath the inflammation in this area is ridiculous and that is just on the cheap side other apartments within the area charge more.

Please dont move here. They are really nice when you sign the lease but then they change their colors when you realize all the hidden fees and repairs that need to be done. The trash is always over flowing, there are sever mold issues, pigeon feces, rat feces, solid waste leaks and wasp nests. (I have pictures documenting all these problems, if you would like to see them email me.) The management will talk down to you like a child and make excuses whenever you call them with a concern, pretty much placing the blame on you. Im guessing most of these recent reviews were made by people in the office. DONT BELIEVE THEM!!!!

DO NOT RENT HERE Day One: the manager failed to give us parking tags and had me towed!! Day Two: Manager lost lease and had to resign which took 2 hours from work. The appliances are old and had to replace Fridge, A/C, Dishwasher, everything! Tracy is super rude! She screamed out across the main office YOU ARE BEING FINED EACH MONTH for not providing my electric provider--Which I did because she had to reverse the fees--all the grass areas are filled with dog poop, The neighbors are loud stomping around all day, broken beer bottles in the parking lot, had to call the cops twice for people fighting outside it is very dangerous

I agree with the other review. On the outside this place looks decent but its really falling apart and management doesnt care. Go to Yelp and check out my pictures there.Ive complained several times about how the trash dumpsters always seem to be overflowing and Ive had to ask multiple times for simple fixes like dirty and burned out exterior lights. Here recently after my very honest review on Yelp management told me they wanted to discuss it with me. Two weeks later I get a call saying theyre giving me a lease violation because of something outside my door. Keep in mind its been there for 8 months..they didnt care until I exposed them on Yelp. All the trouble happened after a new manager, Lindsey. Maybe this is her first job, shes very unprofessional. To summarize: look elsewhere, spend your hard earned dollars to live in a complex that values its residents and takes care of its property!

Unless you have a maintenance request, good luck getting anyone in the office on the phone. And dont get me started on the creative office hours. Opens at 10? Nah, more like sometime after 10:30
