TLDR; Was lied to about which unit Id be renting (it was gross), was lied to about the price and then was straight up ghosted!Really disappointed with the leasing office here. My first visit I did a self guided tour and was told I would be seeing a tour model. The unit was in rough shape--holes in the wall, reeked of cigarette smoke, the front door didnt lock properly and still had trash in the unit like an old mattress. I let it slide because I was told it was a tour unit. Well when the leasing agent found out which floor plan I wanted, she told me that messed up unit would be the one I would lease if approved! I told her it was in bad shape and she assured me it would be cleaned and fixed beforehand. Okay sure, thats fine, but why tell me it was a tour unit only at first?Then, she told me a slightly bigger floor plan was CHEAPER then the small one! (Not in my timefram unfortunately.) When I asked why, she said it was just because they needed to fill them and had no other answer. Well none of that sat right with me but okay sure.I clearly told the leasing agent a range for my move in date (about a month or so away) and she kept pushing me to apply for that one unit and gave me a firm price, which I wrote down and everything because it was a decent price. She said they were able to hold units for 30 days once approved which fit me perfectly. Before I left, she encouraged me to email them if I had any questions.Well I got home that night, I went to apply and found out that the price was way off. The lease would be $100-$150 more expensive per month just for holding the unit for 2 weeks.I emailed them asking for clarification on the pricing and Ive never heard back. This was about 2 weeks ago. Im SO glad I didnt lease with this apartment complex because I can only imagine what theyd be like as landlords!

Been living her for 5 years, yet corporate has neglected to update my carpet, the trash compactor is always full, Its quiet embarrassing when a visitor comes over and the thrash is pile up to the skys never the less theres always. An dont expect to get proper communication, mail box has been broken into, mail still going to the post office or sent back to sender. I use to love this place now i give it a -5, run fast

Run run run!!!I have been living at these apartments for over 8 years and to say management is poor is an understatement! In the past 5 years ownership and new management has changed numerous times, each time getting worse and worse. The communication is very bad to say the least. You cant get in contact with anyone via phone or email. They never respond. I dont even try to remember who works in the office anymore because they change so frequently. Couldnt even tell you the managers name, they do not communication about anything! I have been dealing with a broken attached garage for over 3 months with little to no communication as to when it will be fixed but yet they still expect your full monthly rent at the beginning of every month, cliche! The gated community is a joke! The gate stays broken only to be fixed every few months to break again less than a week! As far as the actual apartments, dont be fooled by the pictures! Only certain 1st floor apartments are actually updated. Ive had the same old carpet in the last 5 years. They will not replace until you move out! Oh, and only the 1st floor apartments have tile so dont expect tile if you move to the 2nd or 3rd floor! I will be reaching out to corporate about the horrible management.*UPDATE* 5/10/2021After speaking with someone from corporate on Friday, 2 days after this review, my garage was fixed this morning. I still dont agree that I paid 3 months for my garage with no use to it.*UPDATE* 5/19/2021Today I spoke with the Regional Manager Angela. She was very helpful and informative. Due to my garage being broken for so long, she gave me credit on my account. Thank you again Angela!

I mean Rashard, was an great leasing consultant.He took our needs into consideration and did his best.So, it had us really excited to move in.But upon move-in things were not done as they were suppose to.Our oven was not working properly, doors wouldn’t close.The apartments are nice and everything.But the maintenance takes forever and barely fixes anything in my opinion.Good price and good place to live but the downfall is the maintenance.Also, the AC gets frozen every other 3 days it feels like and it gets hot we have to dethaw our A/C unit.That’s not cool.

Vanessa at the front office was SO helpful and made our process so easy and fun! Usually moving isnt fun but she was so nice and had its laughing and reassured us everything was what she said it woud be! We could not be happier with how this went and so lucky to have Vanessa leading the way for us! She really deserves something special! She didnt get frustrated at the many times I forgot to send the correct paperwork. She laughed and helped me get it right. I want rushed one bit. Anytime I had a question, she had an answer. Ive dealt with many from an office but never someone like her who had enthusiasm and excitement...Even with it being early in the morning!!! VANESSA IS THE BEST!!!

I lived in this place and has be a very ugly experience. Very rude and unprofessional stuff. Apartment are in ugly shape and maintenance is so poor, but prices are over the roof year after year. I SO recommend AGAINST this place if you are considering Moving in and wish I can give -10 star

This is an amazing apartment complex. The staff is super nice and the management is beyond helpful. They are very personable and willing to work with you to make sure that you have a great experience while you are living here. A fantastic place to live. Andrew in the front office is great and has helped us out a ton!

Never had an issue with the place till i left (due to proximity to work). Only thing I’ll fault them for is that it gets very dark at night (the place needs more light).Other than that, it was a good stay

I lived at this complex for two years, and i never had any issues. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, the units are a great size, and the price is great for the location. I really enjoyed my time here. The parking isn’t as bad as everyone says, unless you’re trying to park directly in front of your unit every time. Management and maintenance are decent, but it’s rare that you find outstanding management at apartment complexes.

Great team in the office very friendly, I love love loveeeee ANDREW! Hes AWESOME! Very attentive to your needs and makes your whole living experience awesome. No issues with parking or neighbors. Lived here a year, only issue I had was my water bill being double the amount as normal, due to me not catching my guest toilet continuously running. I would definitely would refer this property to friends and clients.

I have lived here for about six months now and the office staff is great! They are always on top of everything I need and they havent let me down yet! The apartment complex is super nice, the weight room is state of the art and the office is beautiful. I love the atmosphere as well! Special shoutout to Andrew and Alejandra in the front office!

Ive been living in the same apartment for 3 years. I totally love my 3rd floor high ceiling view. Convenient area, lots of new development in the area, the pool is spectacular..Parking not bad as people rave about, I would like to see more incentive for residency who remain at the residence & never been late on rent that would be a nice perk for us veterans:).....

Its a great place to live, truly. Extremely family-oriented which is one of my favorite things about the complex. All around great atmosphere, I dont plan on re-locating any time soon, I adore my apartment. Make sure you talk to Michael at the front desk if you need any help or are interested in leasing. Hes extremely kind, and very attentive. Hes also always the last one to leave the office, and often the only one in the office whenever Ive visited. Lets me know hes concerned about each resident, and wants to do his job well. Youre in good hands living here. :)

My boyfriend and I move in next month and so far we have not gotten the customer service that I think an apartment community should give their potential new residents. First off, they had me apply for a unit that was already leased 3 days earlier, yes, their system was down at the time....but couldnt have some one written down and passed the information to the other employees? Communication fail number one. When I called all a they had to say sorry, but theres nothing we can do but we have another unit almost $100 more you can have, I would expect for them to have given me a deal on the other unit since it was their inability to communicate that the original unit I wanted was leased. We decided to take the unit as we were pressed for time. I had to call to see if our application was approved, I was told 24hrs, I called on the 3rd business day after a weekend. Tried calling several times and no one was there to answer the phone at 2pm. Had to call and ask if we were going to get a welcome letter in our email with information about our move in. I was told yes we would. So far I have not received anything. I had to drive there to ask for move in information...I got my apartment number, and how much I need to pay on our move in day, all which I had to write down and was told to go to the resident portal and upload my utility and renters insurance documents before move in. I dont mind doing all that, but why did I have to stop by to get all the information in person instead of getting it emailed to us?! We had other potential apartments that we could have chosen, but we chose Ascent North because of my first visit there and the welcoming atmosphere was absolutely great, but since then I have gotten the most horrible customer experience ever! And no I will not be calling to tell you guys how you should be doing your job at providing proper customer service. We are just hoping we didnt make a mistake and regret choosing your community as our new home.

The price per square foot is the best around. I had spent quite a while looking for a new place to live and this place did not disappoint. I only wish we could access the pond but its completely understandable why that section is cut off. They respond to work orders extremely fast. I really have not found a single problem with this place. This move was a good move :)

I moved into these apartments in January and so far it has been nice. They do there best to keep the community clean, it’s quiet and, they have made some upgrades. They respond to maintenance request in a timely manner and the maintenance men and other office staff are always nice. The only complaint i do have is that my floor is concrete with a lot of wear and marks. I was not told that my flooring would be concrete. I spoke with management who reached out to corporate and they couldn’t do anything about it. However, I’ll still give them 4 stars since I love the way my kitchen and layout looks.

My car got broken into at these apartments and they had security cameras that could see my vehicle. I asked to see the footage and they literally didn’t know how to work their security system to review the footage. There have been multiple break ins here and the staff just doesn’t seem to care. If you want somewhere safe to live, this is definitely not the place. It’s a shame to have an apartment complex with such an incompetent staff. If you have security cameras your property manager should at least know how to use them....absolutely ridiculous.

I moved in February 11th. I have been over charged twice now. Don’t have access to get my packages. New staff in office is uneducated on systems apparently since I have three packages that are sitting in lockers and two employees from the office couldn’t help and were rude about it on top of that. I have water leaking on my ceiling and have had no hot water twice...... stuck

This has been our favorite apartment in Austin! The location is convenient to I-35 and close to grocery stores and eateries. All 3 major pizza places are within 5 miles or less. The 3 bedroom layout is amazing for our family and we got a great deal for a 6 month lease when compared to other comparable properties. It is quiet here, and everyone is kind. Yes there are burglaries in this area but that’s no fault of the complex. They have recently increased security by having 3 rounds of security patrolling the complex each night from 6pm-6am. One last complaint would be the mailroom location; it is not ideal because you can’t check your mail and have your kids in the car within your site. Like I said, our favorite complex for the value and layout of unit! Would live here again for sure if we weren’t leaving the country!

Leased at Ascent North from April, 2018 - February, 2019 (10 months), out of that 10 months, I was in a trip to overseas for 3 months, and lived in Dallas, TX for the first 2 months of my lease period. So I lived there in my apartment unit at Ascent North only for 5 Months. Moved out due to loss of job, and paid a full early termination fees of $2074.00. My unit was super clean when I moved out, but a new Management team made up a statement to keep my $300.00 deposit, and when I asked for a damage approve no one respond to my email until now.Good Luck Ascent North residents with the new management.Finally, I would like to thank Mike and Cindy for their outstanding services and support.

New management makes constant excuses for why they cant keep the property clean and why they fail to complete maintenance requests in a timely manner. You can see where theyve painted over dirty walls in the apt and they had the incorrect size air filter for six months and I am an allergy sufferer. When I moved in my fire alarm went off and the fire dept came. When they took one of the smoke detectors off of the wall they found that it was 15 yrs old, meaning it should have been changed 5 yrs ago. New management is completely condescending and requires more from residents than they require from themselves.

Customer service was terrible. I recently still have to pay for utility problem even though I move out for two months. I signed move-out paper in the middle of June and I paid every fee I owe them, but now the utility company still charged me for September??? It does not make any sense at all. I am out of state at the moment so that I am not be able to contact them via phone number, so I sent them messages on Facebook and all they did was blocked me.Wow !! You guys have a very good service. I lived there for a year and I loved the place so much that I recommended 2 families moved in. I did not say that to have any credibility from recommending to my friends. I am just so disappointed the way you guys work.

2017: I love these apartments because of the space and location. I am in A 2BR/2BA with 1,247 sq ft. My first year rent was $1025 and just renewed and now my rent is $1067. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Mike. I did have ant problems but pest control comes and spray when requested. I would recommend these apartments because they are nice looking and great location. There has been people breaking into cars but usually that happens when someone leaves their car unlock. So lock your cars and you will be fine. If you are looking for a new place to stay you should definitely check these apartments out.June 2020: There has been a change in management. The management isnt great and lacks communication. Not pleased.

I like my apartment for the most part. I have been here a few years and I have had no major issues. I think management has been great responding to problems. I will say the walls are extremely thin. I live on the third floor and can hear clearly conversations in the parking lot at normal volume. I can hear my neighbors toilet flush and when they are speaking. Parking hasnt been great either (spaces too small, visitors taking up parking spaces, etc.) but I think management is working on this. I think the maintenance workers could be a little more professional (cleaning up messes made after a service request is complete). Other than this, its been pretty pleasant and overall my living experience has been good. Probably the best apartment living experience Ive had so far.

At first it seen like a really nice place to live and i liked it but since i live on the 3rd floor the roof had a leak and every time ir rain it will leak they fixed the outside of the roof but since march 2019 (its january 2020 now) they never fixed the inside of the ceiling .. now today i wake ip to find my car side windshield broken with a huge rock on my front seatand the manager tells me they cant cover anything no discount nothing even though iam paying to stay on a suposed patrolled complex so not happy at all was gonna renew but i dont think iam anymore

Ive lived here for 3 years without any issues. Recently there has been a staffing shakeup resulting in new parking policies. My vehicle and my roommates work vehicle were towed costing us over $500 right before rent was due. When I went to the office to bring up the issue I was told that they did not have to meet the state law requirements for informing their residents of a policy change because there was no a policy change, instead theyre just enforcing rules that have not been enforced in the 3 years that Ive lived here. A statement that is false. We used to have visitor parking passes that we could place on a friends car. Now we have visitor parking spots. A change that is upsetting just about everyone in the complex. If you live by the visitor parking, good luck parking. If you dont live by visitor parking all of your guess will have to search throughout the complex for a parking spot and walk to your aptm.

New management has meant a bunch of big changes, mostly adding new features to the complex like package lockers and marking parking spaces for visitors only. Theres been some hiccups in communication between the new owners, the office staff, and the residents, but I think things will settle down before too long.Lovely property and well-built buildings. Weve hardly ever had problems with bugs, and theres a nice fenced in area for dogs to go off-leash.A previous version of this review had a lower rating and came from a very frustrated place (see above note about communication hiccups) but Ive had a good talk with Melissa and am feeling better about things.

Ive been living here peacefully for almost 3 years. recently new upstairs neighbors moved in. they very loud & disruptive late into the night. not normal apartment living noises either. continously banging,jumping, running. our complaints are met with lies &broken promises from the management. we were told that families with children lived in another part of the development but now 2 kids love above me. Im very disappointed with the lack of resolution from the management. i love my apt. but unfortunately this will be the last lease we sign here.

I have been living in these apartments for nine years, they raised the renovation $120 more, it is the first time that they raise me so much in the renovation and today I heard a neighbor who raised $50.00 nothing more, which is normal, this is how they treat the people who have been there for years ? I am already counting the months to get out of there and I will not recommend them with anyone, I am very upset it seems unfair that they see me as a fool! :-(

Was looking into renting from Accent North, due to poor customer service and being forced to apply within 24 hours by Amine Zayi. I went to the complex to apply inside, Mike asked me for my current paycheck. After a couple minutes I returned and Mike left to help other customers. Andrew said that said that I couldnt do anything and to go do the application online. In sales you should always help the customer in front of you. Willow and Cindy told me that they would refund the fees, now they told me I not getting anything.

We are going to move to this apartment maybe this year or next year I took a like very interesting apartment because we live in a very dangerous apartment in PortArthur Texas. It’s called Avery trace we have a lot violence too . People are smoking a lot and dangerous shooting. A month ago our mailbox was open and someone took our mail.

Boyfriend lives here and lease is over in 2 months. He liked it here and the times I came around there was nothing to complain about. We both are closing on a house this Friday and we did not think it would happen so quick. Its a new construction and they were right on time for the closing date. We thought it would get pushed since ideally thats what always happens. Well it did not and now my bf is stuck with 2 months of rent and a mortgage. Since only two months are left on the lease you would think he would get some type of help and not pay those two months since its just 2months. Heck even if he got help for 1 month...but they wont budge -aside from my bf being a good resident with payments on time. Spoke to Amanda and she was rude and kept repeating the contract. Its completely understandable there is a contract and policies as in all places but come on where is the customer service and care you preach to have towards your residents.

This complex had terrible staff, no parking after 9pm, roaches, people vandalizing cars, hitting cars and they put up a handicap sign where my car was already parked one day and I was awaken by the police at 1am because someone reported my car being in a handicap spot. How do I know that they put the handicap sign there after I was already parked other than the fact that I know it wasnt there....the spot beside me they had also put up the sign up and the freshly painted handicap print in the parking space and NO PAINTED LINES OR HANDICAP PRINT IN THE SPACE WHEN I BACKED OUT OF IT TO MOVE MY CAR.

Overall, I have truly enjoyed my experience here. My apartment is nice and spacious and I dont have any problems with noisy neighbors or pests. Parking can be tricky depending on where your building is located.I tried to be mindful of parking availability when leasing and I havent had much to complain about parking-wise. There could be an extra speed bump by the dumpster. Its a common walking area (due to there only being one dumpster) and people come flying around the blind corner constantly.However, my MAIN complaint would have to be the responsiveness of maintenance. During the summer, my A/C went out and the after-hours number that I was directed to call was giving an error message. I ultimately had to contact the property manager directly to resolve the issue. It took more than 24 hours to fix whats deemed a maintenance emergency by the property. Currently, I reported that my smoke alarm next to my bedroom door is beeping about every 2 minutes. Due to the vaulted ceilings, I cannot reach it. I called the office from my apt and received no answer so I walked over and spoke to them. Staff is consistently warm and friendly and agreed that should be fixed promptly. I imagine itd take 15 mins max to stop the beeping. However, its currently almost midnight and Im still listening to the incessant beeping. Which turns into a safety issue if the smoke alarm dies and theres an emergency. These instances have bordered on negligence from the property and are a major concern for me. I also reported cosmetic damage concerns during my first month that were never addressed and my lease is almost over. Smh.Another odd issue is the property is labelled a gated community but the gates are almost never operating. Management has said that residents hit the gates and cause them to malfunction but Id imagine thats due to residents being expected to pay for remote entry into to property in addition to their rent. It seems that if Im paying to live here, remote entry into the property should be included. Its inconvenient to have to use the visitor entrance when Im not a visitor.Again, overall really good property but some glaring negatives.

I have been living in these apartments for 8 years, the staff that was before like Mike and Cindy was super friendly and never received a bad face from any of them. Regrettably, the owners changed and the customer service was notoriously lacking. I am southamerican and my language is spanish, obviously I do much better with spanish than with english. I have felt that every time I go to do something or ask if they speak spanish they get upset and their face is annoying, it seems racism, especially a employee. My question is, if you do not want to deal with people who speak spanish do not work here, there are many complex that do not have to face the latino and speak spanish.It is sad at this time there are racist people, we are a country of immigrants and, i suggest to the owners that they tell their employees that we all pay the same, so the treatment for being hispanic derogatory.
