I had contacted several people before I called this company and nobody would get back with me. I emailed a form from their site and had a list of apartments within 30 minutes. I was in a hurry, so the agent sent me some listings, I chose what I liked and they made phone calls for me. I went to the apartments that afternoon and decided on a place. Since youre reading this review, do me a favor and put yourself in a situation where you found out that you had to move practically half way across the continent within the next 24 hours. If youre like me, then not only are you somewhat panicked, but youre also somewhat picky about where you live, and who wouldnt be? For example, I refuse to live in anything brown or any other form of tan, and it must be built after 2005 on the top floor. I also require top of the line kitchen amenities, open floor layouts, a large shower, an attached parking garage, a room facing the rising sun, and partridge in a pear tree. Oh, and I have a small black cat, so pet friendly, and by that I dont mean somewhere that allows pets, but a genuinely friendly environment for my small fuzzy friend.So, who can you call with a days notice, a list of super-specific, if not somewhat unreasonable, requirements? A week ago, my answer would have been pretty much nobody; however, now I definitely recommend Austin-Locators. My experience with them was excellent. They worked with me at the high speeds I needed them to, were willing to show me the locations themselves, or to just send me the addresses and let me go around at my own speed. Theyre extremely accommodating and I will be recommending them to a few of my friends moving out to Austin within the next few months.
