Ive only been living here for a couple of weeks but its been great so far. The location is very convenient and the amenities are nice. Ashley Long has been great with communication through the entire process of viewing and getting moved into the apartment. If I had any small complaint, it would just be that I wish the other residents were more mindful on how they handle their trash but that is not the fault of The Flats.

I toured this property on Monday. The property was only apartment complex that was able too see me as a walk-in every other apartments I tried to visit in the area stated i had to book an appointment. Ashley welcomed me right in and gave me a tour of the property. Great amenities and love the location. This property is definitely on my list to consider.

I toured with my buddy John this past Sunday. We really love the place and the amenities. Ashley had great customer service. She greeted us from the time we walked in the office, offered drinks and refreshments and knew her way around the property. That rooftop was everything i must say!!Still making a decision whether or not I want to be in the midtown or Dunwoody area and roommate with my buddy. Surely leaning towards this property.

Its just been two weeks staying here at the Flats at Perimeter but I would love to share my experience so far. My wife and I were looking for apartments just a month back and decided to take a tour of these apartments. We were well informed and taken good care of by our Leasing Professional, Miss Ashley Long. She was very helpful and proactive. We had her show us many different floor plans which she was happy to listen to and informed us about the specials as well that got us a great deal.Loved all the amenities.I would highly recommend Flats at Perimeter and Ashley for her help.

Ive been living here for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. Its a great location and has amazing amenities. They just redid the rooftop space and its beautiful. They just had a special where they renewed my rent with a 0% increase. That really came in handy due to the coronavirus. I wont be leaving anytime soon.

I love the location of the apartment and the layout. Also a shoutout to the maintenance men, Erik and Mohamed, cause this review does not reflect on them (they have been great! and attentive!) - but with that said, I have had an issue with EVERY SINGLE APPLICANCE in the 3 months I have been here. Im not kidding, the dishwasher, the stove, the ice maker, the washer, the dryer, and now the A/C. While maintenance has been attentive and most things have been fixed, this A/C unit not cooling is the straw that broke this camels back. I dont know if I have a lemon of an apartment, but this is getting ridiculous.**UPDATE**Erik and Mohamed were my saviors once again and fixed my A/C same day!

I met Ashley at the which wich(it’s a sandwich spot next door to flats) I’m looking to move to atlanta. We chatted while waiting for our food to be prepared she was telling me about the area and how she love it out this way I asked her if she lived or work in the neighborhood she said she work next door. I asked her about pricing and the property which was right in my budget. I toured the next day she gave me an awesome tour. She showed me unit 434 your staged model which is beautiful btw love love the rooftop and the jacuzzi. This place is on my list to consider

The Flats and Perimater is favorite apartment that I have ever lived in. The location, the community, the amenities, and the quietness are a few things why I love living here. Will most likely consider renewing my lease again.The only complaint that I have is that if you live on the first floor near the trash chute, the hallways can get very smelly very often.

I have been a resident at this building since July 2007. Although Ive changed apartment units 4 times (I guess I just wanted to try all the different floorpans😉) I have never wanted to leave this place because of the following:* The location of Flats at Perimeter Place is incredibly convenient (who wouldn’t love a Target on the same corner as your home 🙌) and you are steps away from 2 different MARTA Stations that can take you to anywhere else in Atlanta (including the airport)- and on top of that, you have the second largest mall in the state of Georgia right across the street!*The building is set up like a high rise condo with a drive in parking garage with gated entry, providing covered parking for us residents, so it definitely feels much safer than a typical apartment community. Less than a year ago, a new management company (STYL) took over our building, and totally renovated the entire common area (which includes a beautiful club room with a free Coffee Bistro a dance/yoga studio, full gym, and business center that even has individual work nooks so you can focus in a quiet space even when there are others present. And finally, the coolest part of our building and new upgrade provided by STYL is the rooftop terrace that includes the following: 2 hot tubs, a covered gazebo with a porch swing, multiple partitioned off areas with seating, 2 full size bathrooms with showers, a cross-fit space with equipment and a large turf area, an area with picnic games (great for kids), 2 large hammocks, 4 grills, a giant screen tv with ample seating and rooftop wifi... its all brand new (just opened in February of 2020). And I almost forgot the gorgeous pool on the ground level of the building... the pool reminds me of one youd see in a boutique style hotel. Its amazing! And not to mention the individual apartments are top notch... Im totally loving my 14 foot ceilings!*The management team with STYL is truly the best experience I have ever had with any property owner. I havent had a chance to meet everyone on board yet, but I cannot say enough about Dana Surovets (the manager) and Morgan Hall, as they both have been incredibly helpful with everything from tracking down packages that Amazon has misplaced to providing ongoing safety measures and precautions as well as guidance during this recent worldwide pandemic. I have a lot of friends who live in other apartment/condo communities who are seriously considering moving here because the resident experience at Flats is far beyond what they have offered at their current home. This place is the best!

I have been living here for a little over 6 months and saying that my experience here has been disastrous would be putting it lightly.Aside from the countless issues my family and I have had to endure from the very first day, I want to focus this review on the mold issues that we have been dealing with over the last 4 weeks.In the middle of December, I discovered that there had been mold growing along the borders of the windows. I alerted the property and have since been dealing with excuse after excuse as to why things have not been resolved. We are coming up on 4 weeks of having to live in a mold-infested apartment all while dealing with a frankly uncaring property manager. It has been clear from the moment I moved in that this property management company will do the absolute bare minimum when it comes to servicing their residents and nothing more.Normally, you would expect that a property manager would take something like mold seriously and do everything in their power to not only rectify the issue but to go above and beyond and ensure that the residents are compensated for their negative experience. Klarysa, the property manager, has made it clear that simply doing their job of trying to address the mold should be more than enough and that any kind of compensation for this should not be expected as they would then have to do the same for the other families that have been suffering from this.At the time of writing this, we have had a dehumidifier installed and have been asked to allow the dehumidifier 24 hours to do its job. Its been 3 days and there has been no improvement in our situation. Water continues to pool on the windowsill which we need to clean every day to avoid having anymore mold grow.My family and I have had to live with this problem for so long that we are actively getting sick from the mold and have had to go to the doctor several times to try and get some kind of relief. We have mentioned this to the property manager a few times but they have clearly not taken it seriously as they brushed the comment off the last time we told them.As I mentioned at the beginning of my review, this is not the only issue we have had to deal with. Whether its elevators not working, utter lack of communication from the rude property staff, packages being stolen, dog poop being left everywhere, or homeless people sequestering themselves on the roof, there is so much wrong with this apartment complex. Which is unfortunate as this could be a really great place to live. The location is ideal as you are close to a number of different restaurants, parks, supermarkets, and highways. And the rooftop is a nice amenity in the summer (when it isnt invaded by homeless people).Unfortunately, this complex suffers from the greatest problem of all which is an apathetic property management company. Until that specific issue is resolved, I dont see how I could ever recommend that someone live here. Especially considering how much they charge.If my experience improves over these last few months, I will be sure to update this review accordingly. Unfortunately, I dont see that happening. As of now, I count the days until I can finally move out of here.

The customer service experience and resolution to my issue was extremely satisfactory and timely. She was incredibly kind despite my frustrations and we even managed to laugh at the end of a very difficult phone conversation. Do not second guess whether or not the management team will take care of you if you are looking to rent at the Flats at Perimeter Place.

Ashley Long and Ken are the best Ive ever seen. The customer service is incredible. The property is nice.. clean... the roof is dope... I recommend this Bldg for people who are just moving to the area and you need everything around you without having to drive everywhere...Update: After 3 months Im ready to move...Some issues just cant be solved . Like when it rains, the side walk on the target side of the building smells like viscous animal liquid and shiznit .. OMG.. its horrible .. ugh .. I cant take it. But its cool living next to target... and chipotle. Also they have valet trash in the bldg and the hallway smell like valet trash sometimes. Its not bad bad but somedays its ripe out there... The roof lights shut off at 930pm .. Thats just hella crazy .. should be 1130pm..I guess any bldg has its problems... and Its not a bad bldg but Im ready to try some where else.The management does a good job ... no issues there

All of the employees are wonderful but two employees in particular stood out. Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Yusuf came immediately after requesting maintenance for my sink disposal. Update: it has been three months of living with mold in our apartment with no resolution. It’s pretty funny that Klarysa won’t respond to our emails but she can send out a mass email to the apartment complex asking for reviews in exchange for free pizza.We have had issues with the Flats since day one. When we first went to move in over the summer they told us they didn’t know we were moving in and that our apartment wasn’t going to be ready (even though we called them ahead of the scheduled move in date but never got a call back). We spoke to leasing agents who were unhelpful and the assistant manger Britney (who didn’t wear a mask once during any of our interactions). Finally, the property manager Daniel was able to move things around and get us into our apartment which we were grateful for.Since we have moved into this apartment we have experienced: fire alarms going off at all hours with zero follow up from management, elevators being out of service weekly, the pool was closed for weeks this past summer and management didn’t inform us why or when It was going to re-open, a courtesy officer who never follows up or answers their phone and now we are dealing with mold in our apartment.Maintenance came by to look at the mold, told us we needed a dehumidifier that they would have installed and left us to deal with a moldy apartment which is a huge health risk. It’s absolutely unbelievable. I wouldn’t recommend this complex to anyone. There are much better options in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area.

9/23/21: I need to update my review. This new management company Styl Residential is just horrible! I received my lease renewal and they are raising my rent almost $500/month. You read that right...$500. Yet their communication is the absolute worst! I think they have a policy of not returning calls or emails the same day. Their communication is the worst of any place Ive lived! Klaryssa is the property manager and she is barely in the office and doesnt return emails or calls. I literally have to call or email 3-4 times before getting a response. This company took over a few months ago and they are just horrible. This is supposed to be a luxury complex yet the management is far from stellar. Im at the point of finding out if there is a corporate office and who to talk to there. Do not move here! The service does not live up to the price.-----------------For the most part I have loved living here thus far. I love Doneese in the leasing office (only talk with her if you rent here. She knows her stuff). And the maintenance guys are always on point. Whenever I see Erik, he is so nice and always asking to help me with my groceries and anything that needs to be fixed in the building. He has been the nicest thus far and so helpful. Its vary rare to find a maintenance staff that fixes things quickly and with efficiency. Thanks Erik and Doneese!!! :-)

Very satisfied with the service in my apartment. It was also done in a timely manner (with Eric). By asking the leasing office to send maintenance to help with our broken dryer, Eric came to my apt with a smile and very quickly assessed the problem and fixed it. He even explained what had happened and let me try out the dryer before he left. Glad to have a working dryer again thanks to the office and Eric!

I would like to thank the property management staff for being very helpful. Monique, Morgan, and Jim have done a great job at handling the transition and making this an enjoyable place to live. The maintenance staff are also amazing. They are quick to handle any issues and are very personable as well. One of the things I love the most about living at the Flats is the sense of security you get. Between the key card access, courtesy officers, and onsite cameras this truly is a safe community.

This was our first experience with a self guided tour (during Covid19). Denise Harris was our Leasing Professional and she made the process easy. She was professional, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My daughter and her friend loved the 2 bedroom apartment and were planning to move the following week. Unfortunately after filing the application, the next day, the friend changed her mind. Denise was available and very accomodating given the situation and went above and beyond to assist. My daughter is now interested in the one bedroom plan and hopes to be able to move summer.From a customer service perspective, especially during a time where social distancing is the predominant theme, it was refreshing to be able to actually be able to tour and speak to a friendly, knowledgeable live person with any questions. I have been touches by her warm welcome and her support has been appreciated especially in that pandemic time. I love my loft apartment and I feel so happy to live there. It is such a peaceful place to wake up every mornings doneese is the best! Merci ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The apartment is fully renovated. Refrigerator, dish washer, given, microwave are new. I’ve been seeing so many negative comments about Flats and I want to say they are SO WRONG! It’s a great place to live. People are never understanding!! There has been a change of management often lately but the new and current management has been great. It’s noticeable they are doing their best to turn things around. I do not recommend this apartment. I have had several problems since living here. The biggest two problems were that my roof flooded weeks after moving in due to holes being drilled in the ceiling accidentally when they were renovating the roof then it started to rain. This set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night waking us up terrified. We were never able to get the courtesy officer, however the kind gentleman from maintenance brought a trash can to go in the middle of our living room that had to sit there for the entire weekend. We had to cancel all of our plans and management did nothing for our inconvenience. Our latest complaint is that our apartment shakes as if an earthquake is occurring all day during work hours due to renovations. I was basically told by Dana that there was nothing that they can do. Can you imaging trying to work from home or do anything for that matter while your apartment is shaking enough for pictures to fall off of the wall. Now when we call the office they do not respond. They never return our calls and all we want is to be let out of our lease a few months early since there is “NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO” This is the least that they can do. Don’t get me started on the loud parties on the roof at night. Trust me don’t move here!!!

I have had the best experience transferring units after living here for three years! With the help of Brittany, Jessica and the maintenance team my transition into a nicer unit has been flawless. You can tell they are eager to resolve issues promptly, even amidst major ongoing renovations. At first I was upset that I had to move units, until I found out we could move directly across the hall into a nicer unit with wood floors for the same price. Bye, carpet! Then, I had a quick maintenance request concerning my new unit and they took the reigns and created a work order for me, even though I could have just done it myself on the app. This is an excellent place to live!

I have lived at the flats for the last 3 years and love it.. The location is great, and has beautiful amenities and more! The staff are especially warm and helpful. Monique (leasing agent) and Morgan (manager) have both been an absolute pleasure to work with. They have had a lot going on with coming in brand new to this property and are doing a great job at managing multiple tasks and complaints being thrown at them at once. They both always have greet me and my family with smiles and even if they arent able to help out immediately with a request, they promise to get back to me and always stay true to their word.

I went to tour the property yesterday and had a very bad experience. I was rushed in and out. The agent never asked for my name or introduced herself. I couldnt even keep up with how fast she was moving through the property - and Im a personal trainer! I didnt have time to look around at all and was power walking at a HIGH SPEED - we may as well have been on the jog!In the apartment, the agent didnt ask me what I thought, if I liked it, what I was looking for - nothing. I asked one question and she answered sarcastically, Do you need to be on a higher floor or something? My response was no... I was really just asking a question out of interest but so quickly became disinterested.When the tour was done, she didnt even sit down to go over options. She handed me my license and a fee sheet, and that was it.There was another lady waiting to be helped when I arrived and she was still there when I left, still standing up without her questions being answered.This agent totally soured my experience there. Tall girl about 510 caramel complexion... with attitude unfit for leasing a home to someone.Having people who respect you and take their time with you is so important when choosing an apartment to live in, and I definitely would not trust this team to do that.

Greetings. So I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. I traveled from Texas to assist my mother during her apartment search and move during the covid 19 pandemic. I am an active duty retired vet, and the only reason that is relevant is because it allows me to have the financial stability to extend my stay in Ga to ensure my mother is taken care of. Yes, my mother is capable of situating her own situations. However, she is actually an essential medical personnel currently employed at a nearby hospital which mean that her hours and shifts do not allow adequate time to apartment/house hunt (hence my presence). So we locate this community, do multiple tours, establish a vacant apartment that is suitable for her needs on space and easy access to the hospital as needed. We applied for a specific apartment in which was approved to only find out later on it wasnt due to a system glitch/lack of update were as the unit was no longer available. So we proceed to select another unit as it is then taken off of the market/site as available. Within about a day or so, we receives a notice that she has now been disapproved. Without going further into detail, to simplify the remainder of the story, the letter states to contact them. I have personally been calling and my mother has sent emails and voicemails that has yet to be returned. Im not trying to deter anyone from renting from this property because everywhere has good and bad reviews/experiences. Its your choice. However, unfortunately this seems to be one of the communities where you receive ample communication until your situation becomes an issue or inconvenient. I would love to get a response back and be able to move forward with assisting my mom so that she may focus on her work at the hospital and not have to worry about moving in and so forth. I would also like to make my way back to Tx to work as well.

Just had a tour here with peyton and katharina omg these ladies are super wonderful, we tour 2 different apt, peyton said she just started 3days but her understanding of the building is awesome that you can hardly believe she just started, I love the roof top and the ambience, cant wait to call this place my home Im inlove with everything and the awesome staff, been touring different apt but these lovely ladies made us feel at home, thanks ladies .

We’ve just moved in, but the experience so far has been amazing! You can’t beat the location and the apartments are top notch.You’re walking distance to a ton of restaurants and stores, the mall, and MARTA. The apartments themselves have amazing amenities - rainfall shower, garden tub, granite counter tops, and a faucet and sprayer combo in the kitchen. Honestly when touring a resident in the elevator told us we’d loved living here and the staff were amazing - she wasn’t wrong.The move in process has been so smooth as well. We were able to sign the lease online so we could look it over at our own pace. All the move in paperwork can be filled out and returned in 48 hours which is so convenient.We were helped by Rihanna during move in and she was amazing - explained to us how to get maintenance should anything be wrong during move in, handled our move in tour wonderfully, and made sure to cut us new keys right away when there was a mix up with ours.All in all, it’s been so wonderful. I haven’t seen a bug, neighbors are friendly, and the noise from the road is actually pretty light.

Brittany in the office was very helpful at move in and as someone who works from home i could not be happier with my neighbors and the amenities they have to enjoy throughout the day when i need a quick break from my screen. Dont sign a lease without dropping by here first.

I received a call on 3/11 from leasing office with an apology and was advised corporate will be contacting me shortly about getting rate issue resolved. Tried calling as response stated, no one ever picks up, and calls roll to voice mail. Here it is 3/27/2019 still no call, but on 3/26 I received a letter in my door(yes in 2019 still placing letters in doors exposing my personal information thats a whole another topic) with lease increase of $306.00 from the $237.00 after writing letter substantiating I am being charged over $200 more for the same unit that is currently being leased. So you apologize for dropping the ball, dont follow up and resolve issue, and now raise my rent even more to drop the ball all over again. What kind of business practice is this? This is uniquely inferior customer service at its best. Again this illustrates you do not care about your current residents, and only want to charge more for less than par services. Im sorry this a big slap in the face. I pay toooooo much money to Flats at Perimeter to be chasing down someone to provide simple customer services. I never experienced this with previous management company, and I shouldnt have to with your company. I look forward to hearing from you and resolving this ASAP. Thank youI wish I can receive the same customer services as new residents. A refreshing experience after all the tours I had around the perimeter area of other communities. I am considering the one bedroom loft floorplan and was really happy with the gym here & free coffee. Location is key for me with work and they are locate close enough to walk or bike for work. Huge plus! Looking forward to making a new home here - ask for Brittany, she gave me so much helpful info.

This place has been a joy to live at and you can’t beat the location! A new management company has taken over and just from the previous management takeovers, it can be a little rocky in the beginning. The team has been awesome and patient and you can see they are trying. Last night we had a winter wonderland event and wow. From the decorations, to the guitarist and the singer, to the good food and drinks, and to the 2 nice Brittany’s hosting and being welcoming, it was an amazing event. Look forward to more of these! :)

All in all the experience was great, and I could not recommend her more. The apartments themselves are very nice, location is prime, and the amenities are really neat. My review is based solely on my experience with the leasing staff. I inquired online about a specific unit and made an appointment to come in for a tour. I forgot about the tour and was contacted by a very friendly leasing agent who reminded me of my appointment and told me to come in whenever I get a chance. Cool. When I arrive to the property the tone has immediately changed from friendly and welcoming to stand offish and bothered. Not a single greeting by the leasing agent I previously spoke to even though she was sitting right there. Why the sudden change? Perhaps its due to me being a black woman with my child she assumes Im a struggling single mother? Who knows. Either way Ive rented enough apartments in my life to realize that you get the best treatment BEFORE you sign your lease. If management is rude before youve even filled out an application things will not improve after youre locked into a lease. I decided to cut my losses and rent with another property. These apartments arent bad but theyre not stellar either in price or feature to the point that you have to tolerate bad service.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The first day we moved in our sink faucet was missing, our doors were off the hinges, pieces of our kitchen floor were missing, and they never cleaned the apartment before we moved in. It took them a long time to come and fix it. The new property management team is terrible as well. Packages have been stolen recently for some of us residents and the property management (Styl) refuse to help or do anything about it. I CANNOT wait to leave. What a terrible experience it has been living here.

Wonderful place to live. Very convenient location, built originally as a condo, so solid construction with very little noise between units.Staff is great, Rhiannon, Cynthia go above and beyond to take care of your needs. They even met one of my delivery drivers while I want home to let them in and set up a bedroom set.

PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE 4 STAR REVIEWS. They are clearly from people that dont live on the property. My guess is its their friends posting reviews. Theproperty is dirty, smelly and elevator and gate are constantly out of order. The Target side of the building reeks with poop and pee stench. The hallways smell like pee and poop and the stairwells are awful. There also seems to be seems to be a lack of communication amongst the leasing staff. My wife and I received an eviction notice on our door all the while they had our rent in the safe behind where the assistant manager Britney Fields sits daily. Britney Fields told me there was nothing she could do. I said we did paid our rent, could you please double check. Britney Fields turned to the safe behind her opened it and found our check inside. She apologized but the damage was already done. it also affected my credit . she had to contact the Credit Agencies to get It reversed. Im looking forward to moving out of this building when my lease ends. There is No sense of urgency when resolving issues. The leasing non-professionals are very matter-of-fact and they make you feel like theyre doing you a favor when they help you which is very seldom that they actually help. This is by far the worst service level I have ever experienced with any company. Greystar management is a complete disappointment on this property.

Internet getting disconnected for overnight & only provider is unreliable direct path. bad service & they cannot guarantee service. Bad place if you work from home & entertainment getting disconnected Saturday evenings. Surrounding apartments have internet available but not at flats. The tents cannot chose the provider you are in direct paths mercy. Bad choice.

Updated Review.My wife was assaulted on the premises and the response has been utterly negative. Instead of following-up proactively about the incident, I had to initiate all contact with the management team just to get a sense of what happened and what steps the apartment complex was taking in response to this event. There are cameras around the property, but there is no rhyme or reason to their placement. Some entrances are covered and some are not. What is frustrating me is their lack and slowed response to the incident.The attack took place around 6:30PM and it took 3 days before the management team could produce an image of the suspect. The image was grainy at best and as of now (15 days later) there are no additional images and we have made zero progress on the investigation. In terms of addressing the questions I posed to the management team, I still have zero answers.I asked if all the cameras were operational at the time. No answer.I asked if the footage from the days attack has been archived. No answer.I asked why there are cameras in some entry points and not others. No answer.I emailed the management team that I would not be making my rent payment until I got answers. Instead, I get an email threatening that I better pay or else..along with ZERO answers from the questions and concerns I shared with them.I believe that this team is spending more time limiting their liability rather than being proactive about this incident. If you are considering a move to this property, I suggest that you look elsewhere until they address their security issues.
