First in for most, the only reason I went to this shop is because I’ve seen their sign out on the corner that said full set $18 & refill for $12. Originally I was going in to just get one nail fixed but I also wanted to take my old set off to get a new set because my nails were growing underneath. So I didn’t see nothing wrong with getting a whole new set. In the process of Annie Cutting my old set and taking the nail off (as they do with another nail ) she was really rough. She tore my nail and made me bleed a little . She didn’t say I’m sorry or go wash your hands for a min and put pressure on it or nothing. I took it upon myself to do so . Right then and there I should’ve left. I didn’t though smh . I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I guess sometimes things like this happen. ( I know ladies Shame on me ) So after she applies the acrylic and gets ready to smooth them out, she gets too close to the cuticle and the drill touched right above it (on my skin). Now we all know the drill hurts when not used carefully .I had two little paper cuts from the drill. My nails have never felt this way with any nail technician before. This was one of the worst experience’s that I’ve had by far . During my visit Annie Would tell me how good she is at this, how good she is at that, that she’s been in this business for 20+ years etc . Okay that’s cool but Anyone who has to constantly brag about how good they are, must really not be that good. The work will show and speak for itself. Her work ethic definitely did show. Another thing I think she’s very overprice. These are one too many red flags that I want others to be aware of. This is my first and last time at this shop. There was Another customer who came in who also saw the same sign that I saw. she told her that they don’t have that special anymore because the acrylic that was supposed to be for that special they ran out of but as soon as the customer left she told me that she have it and just didn’t wanna do it for that price. Smdh . This is ridiculous! The only reason why I am giving her two stars is because I like the color acrylics that’s on my nails other than that I’m ready to soak them off.

It’s only been 2 days and my toe nail polish is already chipping. I didn’t get a full pedicure for being charged $25. Also my nails are super thick and uneven and I have fibers under the clear coat of my nails. I’ve never paid $50 for my nails and have also never had my nails done so unprofessionally before. Definitely not worth the price. They are really nice though.

My toes aren’t the cutest so I won’t post a pic. It’s been about a week and my gel-toe nail already came completely off. She didn’t file them smoothly down, left them entirely too thick and rough in some spots- clean them up good AT ALL. I can feel some of them lifting already too. I wouldn’t recommend going here. They almost even hurt sometimes in certain shoes and that’s NEVER happened to me before. I don’t get my toes done often so I’m upset that now when I did for my birthday, (to top it off), they aren’t even great :( I went with a friend and she’s also highly dissatisfied. The only reason I left without mentioning it is becuz I was in a hurry or else I would’ve asked for them to get done/fixed the right way.

Honestly all I needed was to get my nail polish off, Annie ended up convincing me to a pedicure and said it’s $30, she didn’t even give me a full pedicure. There was no massage, parfaain or anything included. She changed me $50 total just to take off my nail polish, soak my toes and water and cut off the side of my nails which made me bleed both fingers and toes. Worst nail tech I’ve ever had. No way I would ever enter this place again.Disputed my charge too, there’s no way I was paying for such a terrible job. My feet still hurt so bad.

I will never come back to this place again big big mistake I didn’t read the reviews before it went in and the poor quality of the job than they do is so discourage they even cut my finger they didn’t have water so you can wash your hands especially with this pandemic it was so risky and I didn’t know until she finished doing my nails she has to do it two times because he was so but work

It was my first time today coming in to American nails. Annie was so sweet I came in wanted to do gel nails but Annie told me about the dipping power. She Apply’s it on your nails. Kim did my pedicure and also did my facial as well. Kim was amazing at the pedicure she also message my sallow foot. I would come back again and recommend this to family,friends and new comers.

Linda use work for American nail is now working at First Nails in Arlington tx off I-20 and green oaks. Please come see her, she is the best! Annie is no good and lies a lot about everything. If you want professionalism then come see LINDA at first nails.

When I move from California I was searching for a nail shop. I came across American nails off of I-20 and matlock. I came in and meet Kim and Annie. They both did an amazing job. Everybody go by and check them out. PRICES ARE REASONABLE!

Anytime you try to help this women she tells you why she does things her way and why her way is so much better . Acrylic nails is not her specialty especially for how mich she charges for them . The acrylic is way over my cuticles causing lifting . Don’t waste your time and money in this crammed uncomfortable shop

I have been coming here for many years and I have always gotten my pedi from Annie. But lately she’s been putting me off on the new Girls and well I’m not happy they make my toes bleed, leave with ingrowns hurting more than when I came in and it sucks. definitely my last time coming here. So sad because they are nice and Annie does a good job.

This is what my swollen toe looks like. I went to another nail shop and got a polish change because I couldnt handle my feet looking like a FIVE-year-old polish them. I forgot to take a picture of what my toes look like before I got them re polished, but this is what my toe looks like now that its infected and swollen. All in all this unacceptable and I will not be coming back here!

I only have gotten pedicure services from here but they have all been AWESOME . From the basic to the deluxe Ive had a great experience .The massages are great, the hot stones are great, and my polish is always great. I highly recommend them .Wish I could pack them up and bring them to Irving with me .

Was very racist. Told me my daughters skin is better because she has a white mother, and that black men at lazy and cheep!! I have scabs on my fingers from the drill. The pedicure was good. The lady was nice. That was the only good thing about the place.

I recommend never going here, the lady is very rude. If youre not of the same ethnicity, you will get discriminated against. I thought that stopped in the 60s but nothings changed.

I dont know why people are giving bad reviews. I have been getting my nails done since I was 16 and by far Annie is the best...my nails last AT LEAST a month and I love the atmosphere...I HIGHLY recommend!!!

Dug in skin with cuticle cutter during pedicure. She made my feet bleed. Unsanitary conditions!!!!! She wore no gloves while treating customers feet for (pedicures). WHERE IS THE HEALTH INSPECTOR AND WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE THEIR WAY HERE?!

Annie bites off more than she can chew. Meaning she tries to do as many customers in as little time with poor results than less customers with more time with great results. Shes always overbooking herself and her help. This is the 2nd time i tried this place (i was reminded as to why i didnt want to go back after the first time during my pedicure). She literally argued with me when i told her i wanted my toenails painted a certain color. Her response was i paint all my customers like that and they like it... I had to go back and forth with her telling her that I dont like it like that and for her to just go ahead and take it off. Thats when she finally painted my toenails the way I wanted them painted. Then when I was getting my manicure she rushed the entire process burning my cuticles with the drill and chuckled when I told her that hurt. She kept telling me she does such a great job that I wouldnt have to go back to her for a month. I knew that was bs right away. My nails didnt even last 7 days. She is one of the least expensive nail places (I wouldnt go as far as calling her place a salon) in the area but you defiantly get what you pay for. In my experience with this place Annie was rude & did not listen to what I wanted. On top of that she tells my husband to pay because I dont pay good (Meaning I dont tip well). Well, she was correct about this visit because the only tip I would have given her was for her to quit overbooking herself and quit arguing with customers when they tell her they want their nails done a certain way.

Everytime that I have gone in here, be it the middle of the day or just before closing she will gladly my nails. Ever since the first day we called, my girlfriend and I have been very pleased. No one else we called the first day could get us in under an hour waiting time. We were on our lunch break, she saidyou come now,get U both done and back 2 work and she did. This place needs to be shut down. I went in for a pedicure. Tools are unsanitary. She used the same tools on me that she used on previous customers. She used no gloves. She rinsed the materials she used on me with the water my feet were in then wrapped them up and put them back in her little cart of supplies, so good luck to the next. I was using my phone to text my daughter who was waiting for me up front and she asked me to put my phone away because she thought was taking a picture of her while she used a blade type too to get rid of my dead skin. I put my phone down then she proceeds to tell me that she only uses the tool on the weekends because she could get fined for using it if caught. She acted like she was doing me a favor by using it. Based on other reviews I’m gonna guess her name is Annie because she lies. She told us her friend left and wouldn’t answer phone. As more people showed up she told them her “friend “ was on the way. She cut way too much on the side of my nails that it hurt so bad. She also does not know how to polish. Never again!

I came here for the first time during my school lunch break thinking it was going to be an ok place for a 1st time at this location but I was WRONG!!! seemed like she wanted to do my nails her way and when I told her I wanted them like this she seemed really rude and started talking in her 1st language to the other lady who was there.. also I felt rushed and for the first time ever she CUT ME WITH THE DRILL REALLY DEEP I BLEEDED FOR JUST ABOUT THE WHOLE DAY on my ring finger and minor little cuts on the others!!! I asked her if she was going to give me a discount since she CUT ME really bad she said no sorry as she ssmiled!! Pissed me the hell off I did not tip her and she charged me 65 for my hands and feet. Highly disappointed never going here again and I recommended nobody to go here BEWARE!!! 😡😡

Pedicure was fine, when she started doing my nails it was very sloppy and rushed, i would never refer anyone there. My nails look horrible. she said she have 20 years of experience, my nails are telling a different story! Dont go!

Somehow when I looked this place up it had 4.8 stars and thats why I chose it. Spoiler alert: DO NOT GO. Why? The lady destroyed my nails. She didnt push the cuticles back and instead just snipped at them. She nicked my fingers to bleeding *five times,* and rushed so much that my gel manicure peeled off in 2 days. Not to mention, the atmosphere isnt relaxing in the least. You cant even see the walls theres so much stuff and it looks like no one has dusted in a long time (how could you with that much stuff anyways?). I had to go a few days after to get the mess fixed that this lady caused. Wish I was able to say something nice, but I honestly cant.

Annie told me shes been doing nails for 19 years... She was very friendly but the way she made every single one of my fingers bleed from the drill was not what I was expecting. Its been a couple days and now I have scabs around every single nail. They crack and bleed and are very painful. Uploading pics.

So I decided to get a pedicure after my physical therapy to kill some time bc it was peak hours for traffic. I walked in the building and Annie greeted me sternly...I specifically told her that I wanted Gel polish and wanted to look at the Gel colors to see what she had to offer...Rudely she said that she was busy with another customer and I would have to wait to see the Gel colors (there was like literally 3 people in there two children and one adult), then she kept saying the Gel polish was extra like she already assumed I wasnt willing to pay...she persisted that I get regular nail polish or powder... so while waiting I did look at the regular nail polishes but I just didnt see anything I liked honestly. I then saw some MK purses out on display so I decided to give them a peek while waiting then she says dont touch their not for sale ( when the sign clearly says they are for sale)... so when they were finally ready for me, she still didnt show me the Gel polishes bc she claim she would still be busy with those three customer from earlier... so after all the chaos I just decided to leave... then she chases me to my car accusing me of stealing one of her ugly colored nail polishes and wanted to look in my Michael Kors clutch. I told her no and I would definitely write a bad review about my experience. So then afterwards she said she would call the police bc I stole her polish. Point of the story she was rude and judgmental 😡😡😡💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽🙎🙎🙎👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

I went in for a repair she Annie put it on crooked and didnt bother to shape the nail to look like the rest of them. So I had to leave with a crooked and wide nail that I paid $5 for!!!!
