Have gone here for years. The staff is so friendly; I never worry about who gets me as a customer in the rotation. Stylist always ask what cut Im looking for and executes it well. I also like the use of shaving cream and straight razor cut on the neck followed by warm towel!

Fantastic barber shop! When Im in town, I always make a point to stop here for a haircut. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices.

This was my third time going back to this barber with the last two experiences being average at best. This time I went I had the same barber Kim my hair and she was leaving my hair uneven and had to repeatedly ask her to even out my hair. The last two time I was given a straight razor neck shave so at the end of my haircut I asked for a my neck to be shaved like it has previously been done. Kim shaved my neck and I had thought she had nicked my neck a couple times due to a few sharp pains. I asked her if my neck was bleeding. She told me No and blotted areas of my neck proceeding to showed me a clean tissue. Believing she wouldnt lie to me I assumed it was a little razor burn. After paying and giving her a $2 tip for the poor service she left her hand out and told me she needed more. I left and was picked up by my girlfriend who noticed blood running down the back of my neck. I have attached a picture after the blood was wiped off my neck. I emailed the barber shop a complaint which was never replied to. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend to anyone.

Sarah is the best. I have been seeing her for nearly a decade and every cut has been good... thats why she always has a line. Hit or miss on the other girls if you want anything beyond a basic buzz. Parking is a bit difficult but you will have an easier time on Sunday (and street parking is free).

My son and grandson have gone there for years. Im a woman and they cut my hair perfectly. The weekends are really busy with men getting cuts so I go on the weekdays.Also for my very long hair they only charge $23. Im low income so its the most affordable place in Clarendon. That doesnt include tip.

Economically priced if you need basic trimming or cut. Debbie did a great job trimming my short hair. She understood exactly what I wanted from my haircut.Charge - $21 for basic cut (hair wash $5 and blow dry setting $7 extra).One less star because the place was bit hot on summer eve as it did not have adequate air conditioning.

TL;DR I highly recommend this place. Top quality work, nice stylists, and one of the cheapest cuts in town.I have been getting haircuts here for the past 4 years. They have a $18 mens haircut (frankly, one of the best prices in North Arlington) that is always excellent quality. Sarah in particular does a fantastic job, but typically always has someone waiting for her. That said, every one of the stylists has cut my hair over the years, and I have never had a problem with any of the cuts. They also do a straight razor trim of your neck at the end which is a nice touch.The stylists are all ladies from Vietnam. Some of their English may be a little rough around the edges, but they are all incredibly sweet, and like I said, that doesnt impact the quality of their work.While they do take cash, check, and credit card (Visa and Mastercard), they have a sign requesting customers pay in cash or check to keep their credit card processing fees down. There is an ATM across the street, and the women are so kind and do such a good job, just do them the favor and pay with cash.

Ive been a customer of theirs for about five years now. When I go in, I always get my hair cut by Sarah (who I got the first time by coincidence, but now always will wait for). Sarah is friendly, remembers you (she always asks me about my life, my family, my cats - she has a great memory), and does a really great job. Today, after she already finished the whole thing, I thought I wanted it a little shorter so she went through and re-trimmed the whole thing. Sarah is patient, attentive, and gives great haircuts. The prices are super reasonable and my favorite part is always the hot towel and the straight razor shave of the back of my neck.Theres a reason that this place has great reviews. The service is awesome, the prices are great, and youll go back again and again.

I wont go anywhere else. The women here are fantastic, quick, and kind. There are folks who have their favorites, of course, but Ill happily sit in the first chair that is open. I always come out looking good and feeling better, and for $18 (before tip, with a straight-razor neck shave and hot towel) thats pretty darn good for the DC-area.They get busy on weekends, as everyone in the neighborhood comes in, including kids. You might have better luck earlier in the morning or during a football game. Even if you have to wait 10 minutes youll find that it is well worth it.

These ladies do an excellent job. Its always hard to find a new barber. Here you typically get a different women each time, but they try very hard to do exactly what you want and are very polite.

This place is an absolute joke! Came in for a beard line up and she managed to completely screw that up. Then I told her to completely shave it off.Not sure how but she completely managed to screw that up too!

I used to go here when I lived down the street, and I still come back since they do a great job and I can trust Sara to make my hair look nice just by asking her to do what looks best.

Ive been living in DC for 2 years and since going to Carendon Barbers I havent let anyone else cut my hair. If you need a great mens haircut this is the place to go, especially if haircuts that cost more than $20 disgust you and you are not a salon guy. I always ask for Sarah but the other girls are great too. You also get a discount the first time you visit.

Sarah does a wonderful job. If I sneak out and try another stylist, no matter how expensive, my wife knows it wasnt Sarah. It just isnt as good elsewhere. They also do a decent shavette shave and beard trim.

If you want a no-frills haircut, friendly and quick service, and very competitive price in the Clarendon area, look no further than this place. Ive been to places where they charged me up to $65 for a haircut, but in here I paid only $18 for the same quality.

$18 for a haircut that later in the night I found out I need to get fixed. Nothing special either. Hair cuttery will wash your hair and clean up the hair better in my opinion.

I went there incidentally since it welcomed walk-ins.I got my hair simply shaved! The person who did my hair was frustrated when I asked to do differently. It was useless to say any thing, I just paid and left it. Ill never think about it again. The worst experience I’ve ever had about hair cutting.Not recommended if you really respect yourself!

Terrible service I went in to line up my beard and shap up she took my hair line all the way back to my ears and cut my forehead with her razor then she still charged me $15 and ask if I wanted to leave tip never going there again please dont go it a waste of money and time
