Got 3 keys done. Zero work in the locks. Store cannot refund. We’ll see if Minute Key refunds. TBD. Highly recommend waiting for real human to do it manually rather than using Minute Key. It actually turned out to be faster with the real human. Also, it’s a lot cheaper to just use the store instead of minute key

A wonderful piece of technology, I would highly recommend. I had three duplicate keys made up at their kiosk in Lowes at Chapel Hill, NC, and I couldnt be happier with the results. All three fit perfectly into my office door.I do have one minor suggestion for an improvement though. When I was 15 years old, I worked part time in a hardware store, and one of my responsibilities was to fabricate duplicate keys for customers, so I do have some background in this subject. I did notice that when I received my three keys from Minute Key, they each had small burs still attached to them. They easily flaked off with the aid of a flat screwdriver that I procured from a nearby shelf. Really not a big deal at all, but my suggestion for future kiosks would be to consider installing a small slot that the finished keys could be inserted into. The internal side would house a deburring brush, something I remember doing to all the finished keys back in the day. A couple in and outs and your finished product would be flawless.Just a thought, its still a wonderful device, and I loved not having to track down a clueless store employee (like I was so many years ago) to make them for me. Easy key duplication at LOWEs self serve. have used before and they always work just fine.

The service was great - getting copies of house keys but the last key couldnt drop out of the machine so I got one less key which was suppose to be my free one. Luckily the store I was at - LOWES made me another key free of charge

Easy to use, key worked when I got home, reasonably fast
