Just love this jewelry store great service and great sales all the time.
Ive usually had a good experience, however there doesnt seem to be enough training or communication between employees. I was told one thing by one and another made the whole experience more difficult. Then after having my second expensive piece sent off to be adjusted I was guaranteed to have it back by June 18th but didnt receive a notification that the item was in until June 23rd. Then i find put they cant even update theyre store hours and show up 20 minutes before they close according to google, and Im informed they close 10 minutes ago and can not give me the jewelry I have already purchased. Im a truck driver, I cant just show up first thing tomorrow. Im very displeased that they were completely unwilling to try to help me. Im thinking Im going to have to find somewhere else that will try to keep there promises, and train all their employees the correct way so they dont make promises that cant be kept!
For my Birthday my husband asked what I wanted and I said a Ruby ring. So he took me to the mall and we looked at a couple of jewelry places before we wounded up at Zales,were I found the perfect Ruby ring at a really great price. I would have given a 5 star but it seemed as if we were being rushed.
My sister bought the ring at this store by cash from last year. But she did not like it and returned for 2 day later. And she did not receive the refund yet until now.When we called to them, they explained they sent the check to her already and the check was cashed by someone. But she did not know why someone can cash without his name. We tried to reach out someone at store but we got the same answer without the proof. When i came to sign the Affidavid of Forgery Form from their request but they explained that form take for a while (few hours) to print and mentioned sending by email instead. And until now is over a week but i did not receive anything from them.:((((((. we are so disappointed

Brought a 6,000 diamond ring and lifetime warranty. The Zales we would get inspections in did not input information so now that we need ring to fixed. Zales is not honoring warranty

0 stars I couldnt post with out a star I always go to this Zales and have a wounderful pleasant experience but on the 9th of January 2021 that was not the case one of the older skinny worker with glasses talk to me like I was a piece of trash instead of explaining to me what she was looking for she treated me like I didnt understand her and then had that nerve to say she was gonna call security on me when I called her out on hating her job cause she acts like it

So so very disappointed in this company my husband,bought my engagement ring there 3 years ago we were married and a year after (in 2018) prong broke on the main stone took it in they fixed it no problem.after covid started and we had to stay home, I put my ring on a few weeks ago and notice that the prong was broken again,I couldnt wear my ring in fear that the main stone would fall out.so when th said they said rghet were reopening I was excited to take my ring back so it could be fixed, waited in line got to the gate explained what happened and the sales associate responded by saying I dont know what to tell you this after I asked what was I supposed to do with a broken wedding ring I couldnt wear its sad you let your costumer service associates are rude like that and you allow it we wont be again
When me & my fiancé went to get my ring resized & got it back the diamonds on the ring fell out just 24 hours after having it back & the jeweler messed up on the design of my ring had to send it back for another week. It looked a lot better now with the stones tightened. If they seem to keep falling out again this store will most definitely hear it from me. I love my ring but if it keeps becoming an issue, we will most likely go else where to get me a new ring.
Was ignored by some of the staff. After waiting at the counter for about 5 minutes with no other customers in the store and about 6 employees I walked up to a group of 3 who were conjugated in the center of the store. As I approached one of the women actually turned around and walked away. We ended up working with someone who seemed to want to help and purchased a ring out of convenience. I will be going to other jewelers for my future needs.

I received horrible customer service after spending almost $2000 st Zales in Coronado mall 14 months ago. I went in as advised every 6 months to have 2 of my rings polished and checked out. About 3 weeks ago my ring finger with s carat diamond ring purchased there started becoming irritated, red, scaly and painful. I went in to inquire why, such supposed quality jewelry would do that. The cheaper, less valuable $500 other ring I also purchased there didn’t do that. I was told it was my skin reacting to the gold, and my only alternative was to upgrade by giving them my ring and purchasing another one at double the cost. I expressed my dissatisfaction mainly because the salesman, who happened to be the same one I purchased the 2 rings from didn’t care at all about my concern or dissatisfaction. I feel I revived horrible customer service and it didn’t matter to them because they had already gotten my close to $2000. I won’t hesitate to let my family members and friends know the way I was treated there or how inconsiderate the salesman was. Not even the smallest amount of empathy was shown. The sad thing is that I was also there to purchase a gold and diamond cross and chain, an they lost my business due to the lack of appreciative customer service skills. The manager was always great, but I was to upset to stay and speak with him after the way I was treated by the less than adequate staff. I shouldn’t have had to go complain about quality such a short time after purchase to begin with. Losing my business may not be a bid deal to this store, but I wanted to let other people know. Maybe this will save someone else from the frustration. There are several reputable, sincere other businesses that would and will value my business I’m sure. $2000 may not be a lot to some people, it is to me.
I Purchased the ring about 8 months ago, had several isssues with it. They sold me a ring with diamonds missing out of it, they took care of the diamonds for free because they new they were missing when I bought it, but I only took it because I was on a time crunch. My fiancé and I waited about 2-3 weeks for the ring to come back resized and with the missing diamonds replaced. The diamond kept falling out, and everytime we went in, it seemed as though it was an inconvenience for them that something they sold us wasn’t keeping the stones in place. Their solution was to replace the ring entirely with a new custom fit band, which I was fine with. They told me it would take about 4-6 weeks. We waited 8 WEEKS, and NEVER got a call. I had to call them to see if it came in and they put me on hold and proceeded to tell me that they would call me back, and NEVER CALLED BACK. I went into the store in person with my fiancé and had to ask to see if they received the ring. They received a ring... but it was the completely wrong color. They then started to say they would put an expedited order in and would take 2 weeks. We wanted to get our money back. They told us we would have to come back when the store manager was in because it was passed the 60 refund period. We went back about a week later due to work scheduling and the hours that the mall is open. The assistant manager was uncooperative and would not understand that we didn’t want the ring even if they ordered it. We proceeded to tell them that we wanted our money back, and after a lack of accommodation for the time wasted without a presentable ring, we got our money back. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. The managers and workers avoid you if they recognize who you are and if you are needing help because of a defective piece of jewelry that THEY sold you. It’s took about 2 weeks for them to finally agree to refund our purchase and still proceeded to tell us that “if you wait 2 more weeks a new ring will be in”. We waited long enough and it is embarrassing when your fiancé is constantly being asked to see her ring and she is even embarrassed to show her hand because diamonds are missing out of it. Overall, poor customer service, uncooperative workers, poor communication skills, and mostly poor management skills.
I called looking for the progress on a ring I had a deposit on and they couldnt find it under any record. Finally got called back and then told it would take an additional two weeks. When I spoke to the man I put the deposit with he told me hed tried to expedite it, later the gentleman who called me back said they couldnt expedite special orders. If this was the case and the first man found out later I should have been called and had this communicated to me so I could explore my options.

Ive had the worst customer service ever!!!Just this year 2018 I had to send my repairs back because they came back worst then they needed to be. A younger gentleman helped the first time. Told him specifically what each one needed. Okay great. In the event of them returning. They never called me even after I told them the number was incorrect. He insisted I keep it because thats how they have it in the system. Okay Ill write in ink in the corner so when it returns call me. 7 weeks go by and no call. I call and they tell me yes its here. Will I never recieved a call. I go in to pick up my repair. My rings came back how I wanted them. My other however just needed roduim left in perfect condition. They brought it back with a loose stone and broken pronge. Not to mention the lady says oh look they even took the picture with it broken. The picture is supposed to be with how it left the repairs office in good condition. My necklace still hasnt returned. 6 more weeks go by. Same situation. No one calls me about my repair. Finally I call again. Yes, your repair is here. Why didnt anyone call me. We did the number *******. I told wrote the number for the lady for who to call. I ho in later to pick up my repair. My was thinning more than usual. But just glad I got it back with nothing broken. My necklace however was hugely uneven. The guy says I see nothing with it. It was supposed to be soldered because had broke. The repair company melted my necklace together and was flat like how you would flat a penny. I tell him look at and tell me pretty. He said oh I see the problem. My necklace doesnt move. Its just a stand still so it was even and melted flat. About two weeks ago I called them to ask about my repair. The lady answers and says yes its here. Let me tell you, the repair has been there since May. Yet again no phone call, no updates absolutely nothing. I ask for the manager to call back. Because he was on a conference call. He tells me my repairs are there and ready for pick up. I said I know. I had to call every time. He didnt apologize until i was mentioned every person that helped and had to describe the lady that me i couldnt update my number because i needed to keep it the same because the repair company might say they didnt my jewelry repair.Horrible customer service. Its been two weeks since Ive spoken with them and still havent picked up my repair because Im afraid of what it looks like.Ive worked for a Zales and we change anything and would go above and beyond to help our customers get the best they could get. Its unfortunate that management doesnt train proper customer service and neglect to acknowledge their mistakes and their mistakes of their employees. I will be calling corporate office because this unacceptable for nothing to change after repair, repair and repair. It adds also an inconvenience because I know Im not the only person to say they have horrible customer service and no intention to actually help people to their fullest.

I wouldnt even rate this place one star. These people are incredibly rude and are never helpful. We bought a ring with them only about 10 months ago and it completely broke. The prongs broke off that held the main stone. What upsets me is that they supposedly check the prongs every time you take it in. I took mine in 5 days before it broke and not one word was said. And another thing, I had a morganite ring. They told me I could take it in any time to be cleaned. So I took it in at least once a month and they would clean it in the machine, horribly might I add. Well come to find out you arent supposed to put it in the machine because morganite is a soft stone. But they did it anyway. Now we are forced to pay for a ring that has yet to be replaced and we were talked down to the whole time. Thanks a lot for the terrible engagement ring. Never will I buy from these people again.
My very kind and generous significant other recently purchased a necklace and earring set for me at Zales for Christmas. It was not quite my taste and I decided that it would be best to exchange it for something I would be more likely to wear. I looked at the large selection of items on the Zales website in advance and wrote down several pieces I liked as alternatives.When I got to Zales and and explained that I wanted to exchange the item for something else the store associate (unsurprisingly) asked to see a receipt. Unfortunately, my S.O. didnt give me a gift receipt so I didnt have anything to present. I told the store associate the name and phone number and the date my S.O. purchased the item. She looked it up and found the value of the purchase. I asked if I could use the value of the purchase for something I saw on the Zales website. She said no. I asked if it could be applied to a gift card. She said no. The only thing I was allowed to do was exchange the item for something of equal or greater value in-store.Well, the store selection of gemstone pendants was disappointing. Most of the stock is sterling silver, which is less expensive (and appeals to a greater audience) but I wanted to buy something in either white gold or rose gold to avoid having the piece tarnish later on. So, when I narrowed my search to white gold or rose gold gemstone pendants there were about three options all made in China.The sales clerk was not particularly friendly or helpful. She just seemed annoyed with me and what I was looking for. I particularly wanted something in either peridot or alexandrite (as I had seen on the website) but there was nothing at all in the store.So, I decided that the only solution is to tell my Love that we need to go back to the store (and to be sure to bring the credit card he paid with) and to simply get a refund. I will then suggest we head over to Butterfield jewelers to pick something out and to enjoy a better selection of options and far superior service as well.
I bought a pearl necklace. It was bought on-line. I was allowed to return it to the Mall in Albuquerque where I live. Now, noone knows where thepearls are, and have never received a credit on these expensive pearls. I would never purchase anything from this store again! Terrible Customerservice.
