I am posting this today 8/1/2021 in order to make future and present tenets aware of excessive burglaries at this apartment complex. Why are there no cameras in the parking areas?!? Car was stolen, found by hotel/APD, and 2 times after thieves have attempted to steal it again! Other vehicles have been stolen, and apartments have been broken into in broad daylight. For your safety do not rent here. Although complex is located in decent area, it appears management is not doing anything to deter unlawful actions.

I just want to make future tenants aware of the things that go on here at these apartments. 1-Booting and towing someones car during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC is a horrible business practice. What are people supposed to do when their registration expires and the MVD is closed??? Further more the Governor issued an executive order against penalties pertaining to driver licenses and registrations, that was clearly ignored by these apartments. 2- When this was brought to the attention of the apartments they quickly stopped responding. 3- They raised the rates over $300.00 for everyone in the complex. 4- When asked about getting the deposit refunded, was told If you get your deposit back. (We paid 2 deposits one non-refundable and one refundable) Will be contacting the attorney general about these predatory business practices!

I did not have use of my apartment for 10 days due to yet another water pipe breaking underneath my bedroom...the owner has refused to provide me q rent abatement..so their response is a lie. They all charge for common area expenses which is a ownership responsibility..ive been lied to so many times by management.

Poor quality and value that they display towards their residents to include management not being professional when it comes to taking care of their tenants when need be.

Very professional staff. Nice place place to live. courteous neighbors. the office staff is very responsive. The maintenance staff does an excellent job.

I have lived here for a year and half. Moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment. I wanted to stay at these apartments because the area is great and I thought it would be easier to just stay at the same apartments but they made the process nothing but hard. The manager kept getting stuff confused and they didnt care to mention new stuff that they changed like how the utilities have to be paid and other amenities in the apartment. The new management team also sucks. They are just money hungry. They do not care about their residents.

I am going on 8 years at Telegraph Hill. Ed the maintenance guy has always been wonderful in taking care of my apartment. Teresa and Noel have been amazing in taking care of the office.

Excellent Customer Service! The ladies in the office are always so helpful and kind.

I moved in about a year ago, maintenance man Ed is great. Always gets things done the same day. The girls in the office always help me with paying my rent. It is a little out dated but other then that its quite and works for me.

This place is amazing I love it here! Not only is the property gorgeous but the staff is amazing as well. The minute I walked through the door Noelle made me feel at home she is super kind and knowledgeable! So glad to call this place home!!

I stopped by a few days ago and meet with Teresa to see what apartments were available. She was extremely helpful and I will be back when they have an updated one bedroom.

These apartments are great aesthetically. I enjoyed my time living there for the last 5 years. However, the most recent management company are both unresponsive and generally have no follow through unless your bank account is involved. When I wasn’t feeling manipulated, I generally felt ignored as a resident—my phone calls and voicemails were rarely returned. I don’t want to completely negatively review the entire staff. Maintenance were the saving grace of this place as they are kind, friendly and prompt.

Our move in started out a bit rocky, but everything was taken care of in a very professional manner. The neighborhood is very cute and quiet. The staff and maintenance are very friendly. It really feels like a place you can call home.

I have been a resident for 4 years. generally its a very nice quiet complex. Recently the complex was sold. The new management is really excellent, if any maintenance problems arise they are addressed quickly. The assistant manager, Brianna Sanchez is very personable and quick to respond to resident needs. I highly recommend Telegraph Hill Apartments without reservation.

How the apartments and town homes are set up are very spacious and nice. I loved living here for the first couple months of our year lease. As time went on the maintenance did less and less every time. My toliet was not flushing and they wrote a vague note saying it was fixed. It was not. I also has issues with my shower. The maintenance team left behind mud in my shower and they also used my toilet and did not flush and left behind pee.Half of the buildings in the complex did not have access to hot water in the middle of winter! This issue was not fixed for 6 months! Some of the residents were so mad about this issue that they threatened to go to the News channel. In our unit there was a washer and dryer for laundry. The washer works great but the dryer leaves more to be desired. It takes about 2 cycles in the dryer before the clothes are remotely dry.

We will be moving out in a few days. I dont normally write reviews for things but Telegraph Hill has been the best experience with an apartment complex Ive had. Staff is always friendly, and weve been left alone (some places the office is constantly in contact and trying to get you to do stuff. I know its a little petty but its been really nice to just be left alone unless I needed something)We barely needed any maintenance at all but when we did the response time was unbelievably fast. The apartment quality was really cozy as well. As for the complex itself, its tucked away and they have security patrol on most nights (especially weekends). Its been a pleasant, quiet, carefree experience. Would definitely (and already have) recommend this place.

Beautiful apartments and staff knows how to sell them. I didnt believe all of the reviews that I read and now I regret it. Ive lived in these apartments for over 6 months now and for the past 2 and a half months I have had no hot water. Maintenance will come over to fix the problem, but will not call or give any notice, even though we expressly told them that they do not have permission to enter the house without calling us first. This has happened 4 times now, once when I was home alone and woke up to someone outside my bedroom door. Recently maintenance came by, tested one sink downstairs, and said that there was nothing wrong with our hot water, even though the showers upstairs wont even get luke warm. Ive been taking cold showers for over 2 months now and still have not had anyone actually fix the problem, despite the numerous people that have entered my apartment without my permission. I loved the apartments at first but this has gotten out of hand.

Hot water issues have been happening since I moved in in July. Although management claims they are ding everything they can, it is extremely frustrating to be in the middle of winter and not being able to take warm showers. They do seem to have crews here daily trying to resolve the issues however, they are not compensating the residents that are being affected. We have to pay an additional fee for hot water monthly, along with our rent, even when we have not had consistent hot water for over three months.The area is very quiet and the people are nice. If it was not for this hot water issue I would love telgraph hill.

Apartments are small and overpriced. Water is constantly being shut off or having issues. Maintenance was fine for awhile but now that they have a new management company, seems like nothing is being done! Our dishwasher has been broken for a week and management is completely ignoring us. I submitted an online request to have it fixed a week ago and nothing. We’ve called and left two messages AND spoken to a woman in the office who said she’d put it “at the top of the list” and still nothing! We just called for the 5th time and they finally informed us they’re just going to order a new one and it’ll be here after the holiday. Why wasn’t this done a week ago?!

High car disturbance rate... I had a vehicle stolen out of the apartment parking lot last year, and my new vehicle had the gas tank drilled into to steal the gas. When I reported to the front office, they were sympathetic but took no action to better their parking lot safety. No extra lighting, no cameras, no patrol. I feared walking out every morning to see if something happened to my vehicle, or even if it was still there. I am moving to a better apartment early.Also, there is a lot of maintenance being performed on water lines often. Water lines get turned off probably once every 1-2 weeks. When I first moved into the apartment, they had very poor hot water (luke warm at best) and took almost 3-4 months to improve water quality.Front desk staff tends to be unprofessional, as well as the maintenance. They left lights on when they entered my unit for inspection. Otherwise the aprtments are a quiet community, although the car disturbances are very concerning!

I lived at Telegraph Hills for just under two years. The first year was fine, the last year was a nightmare. 3 different managers came in over the last year. There are CONSTANT hot water issues. The water constantly gets shut off with very little notice and up until the moment I left (this month) you still werent able to get the water hot. Last summer, I went almost 7 days with NO water at all and management did nothing to compensate residents (that manager is currently gone from the complex). Very recently a one unit washer/dryer was added to the small one bedroom apartments and put in the already extremely small closet. Warning- the units dont work. They wash fine, but you will never get your clothes completely dry. Extremely disappointing. You also lose half of your closest space with the unit shoved into the corner of the closet. During the renovation process of the unit being put in, my apartment was left in shambles every time someone had gone in to do work. I add this in because they are currently trying to give this complex a makeover- beware, you cant cover up an extremely old building or unprofessional staff. Extremely disappointing. Leasing agents in the office are extremely unprofessional. Calls are not returned. No one is present during posted office hours. A couple of weekends ago myself and two other residents were left standing outside for over 15 minutes while not 1, but 2 leasing agents were in the office, could here us knocking, but were eating lunch and refused to answer us. There was no sign on the door stating the staff was away and it was well after the lunch hour. Its really a shame because the apartments are in a great area of town and overall it was a quiet complex. I will say that the newest manager, Carrie, seems to be legitimately trying to pull the complex back together, but I would never recommend anyone move there.

This place is a clean and safe place for families. It’s really close to arroyo del oso elem. which has helped us immensely. It’s quiet and serene. Thanks telegraph hill.

Dont believe the fake reviews Grey Star paid for. This place was pretty ok until they took over. If you dont love cockroaches find somewhere else. They will charge you a pest control fee every month but you will never see an exterminator. No hot water for several months, and they will enter your apt without giving 24 hours notice. I only give 2 stars instead of one because the previous management was ok. Also this place isnt as quiet as the fake reviews suggest. There is an auto shop literally next door that is very noisy early in the morning. And while this place is safer than the south valley, you will find crazies of all colors crossing through the parking lot at night. There have been shootings in the area, and once and guy was trolling around with a rifle pointing it at people. Dont listen to the BS, you get what you pay for here

I lived at Telegraph Hill for 4 weeks and had a terrible cockroach infestation. It started when I moved in and progressively got worse as the weeks went on. I would wake up and find 30-50 baby cockroaches in my kitchen/living area every morning. I contacted maintenance/pest control often and they kept trying to spray, but the issue didnt resolve. One night I woke up because I was paranoid about the cockroaches and I walked out into my kitchen and there were cockroaches crawling up my front door and on my floor. I immediately freaked out and went back into my room only to find several in my bedroom. That night I didnt sleep the rest of the night and was very anxious from this experience. I woke up the next day, went to work, worried about this all day, came home from work very very late, and walked into my bedroom to find them crawling up the door to my bathroom. I called a friend and stayed at her house that night because I couldnt sleep in my bed. I never stayed in my apartment again. I contacted management and demanded for something to be done about this or for them to let me out of my lease so I could relocate. They compromised and let me break my lease and told me they would prorate my rent until I could turn my keys in. I wasnt able to move out until the weekend! I just relocated to Albuquerque, dont have family here, am a single person, and I was forced to move my stuff and all my furniture by myself to a storage unit until I could find a home. I requested for the management to pro-rate my rent from the night I stopped sleeping at the apartment because the cockroaches were in my bedroom, and they couldnt accommodate. They said they couldnt refund me my application fee or my administrative fee either. I was a little disappointed that they couldnt refund me the money. 3 weeks later, and I still dont have another apartment and have yet to get my refund check.

I dont live here. Showed up for a appointment. Was told they had a apartment to show. No show. Not only that I saw staff being rude to a eldery man. He for got the date,how much rent was and his cane.....she smiling at him saying sorry. I pick up his cane open the door for him. He leaves. The fake smile she put on her face when I turned around.....was like are you done? How can I help you?. Boooo!

Have lived here nearly a year now and look to renew our lease. The staff is amazing. Everyone is extremely friendly and make you truly feel at home. The maintenance team works diligently and promptly to address any and all issues, however we have had close to no issues with the apartments, so usually we just see them hustling around the complex. Very quiet and tucked away between townhomes and a very nice neighborhood. Overall extemely pleased to have found this place and would recommend Telegraph Hill to anyone!

Nice quite apartment complex,huge closest space, we just moved in and no security our truck was almost stolen luckily we have an alarm, overall the apartment and staff is great! Be nicer if they had security.

Horrific management. Will take a WEEK to get back to you. They NEVER answer their phones, even before Covid. Trash buildings, thin walls

The maintenance guy Robert said he was going to give me back my dog and LIED. And I have a letter stating I need my dog, office said they were going to help but they dont like calling you back as Amy says they have CALLER ID now, and are too busy watching TV. Robert doesnt know how to do his job as they other maintenance guy has to come back and do it right. The only thing Robert is good at is TALKING and drinking wine, and stinks (always has a cig in his hand)

This is is a great place to live. Its clean..its quiet..safe.

I was waiting in the acceptance/denial phase from a different apartment complex for a week. I needed to move out of my current home and into a new one before the 1st of the month. I was stressing beyond measure because it was the 30th. I went on my lunch break to Telegraph Hill as a back up plan to see if there was any vacancy in the immediate future (Next Day.) I went to the office and I spoke to Nalgas, the leasing consultant and explained to her my stressful situation at hand. I asked her if i applied today, have all the documentation needed, and all the fees paid; how likely am I to move in tomorrow? Nalgas assured me she could make it happen within 24hrs. I was in such relief to hear she would be able to make that happen and I wouldnt be homeless! Her and I went to go look at the available unit that suited my needs. As Im looking around I get a call from the initial apartment complex saying that I was accepted, one WEEK later SMH.If I didnt pay for the application fees for the initial apartment, I would have been a resident at Telegraph Hill. Nalgas was understanding and even gave me a call the next morning to make sure everything was confirmed. Her professionalism and determination was greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Nice apartments I do security here hardly any issue

We moved from Florida five months ago. This is my first time living in New Mexico and I am so happy that I chose Telegraph Hill as our first home here. It is very quiet, safe, close to shopping centers and schools, etc. but the most amazing thing is my view. Waking up every morning looking at the mountain is simply spectacular.We applied online, not knowing anything about this place and guess what?... I will never regret it about it. Also, the people in the office are very professional and friendly, including the maintenance crew. We highly recommend Telegraph Hill Apartments.

I lived here a year. Its in a nice area and the apartments look good, and the staff knows how to sell them. In that year we went 4 straight days without any water, have had water off multiple other times, and then went the entire month of February without hot water. The response we got from staff was that wed just have to wait and deal with it, no compensation or plan to help us. The prices have gone up astronomically. Also, they would send out emails for prizes to anyone whod go online and rate them 5 stars, so you cant trust all of the reviews. I would not recommend this place.
