Im really saddened to write this review. We love our apartment, its very cute and comfortable. It was clean when we moved in, the patio is spacious, and we like the finishings. The location is nice, we have a great view of the city to the west and the mountains, and its close to everything. The issue is with management. Since we moved in, theres a new manager and Donna is no longer here. Before the new person came in, we had several issues with maintenance repairs. It took weeks to get the ac working properly, when it was hot out and water leaking through the utility closet floor. The maintenance team does their best, theres only two of them during the week and theyre massively overworked. But there seems to be little to no communication between them and management. That issue was fixed, and then our unit flooded during a heavy rain. It doesnt seem to be a priority because nothing is being done to address it, frankly it doesnt seem like they care that much. Were never really given accurate or helpful information on anything and the new property manager is passive aggressive and really unprofessional.Another issue is a lack of security. Within 3 days of living here, our neighbors truck got broken into and someone tried again a few weeks later. Someone also tried to steal a motorcycle and hid it behind the maintenance trailer, where a foil pipe was laying on the ground. Our car got broken into recently too. Theres security but its sporadic according to the sheet in the move-in folder, which kind of defeats the purpose. There was a random person sleeping in one of the laundry rooms, which isnt surprising considering the codes are easy for anyone to figure out and anyone can walk through the front sidewalk gates or through the next door parking lot. The back gate isnt locked either, anyone can slide it open and walk through it, which is asinine. The amenities are a construction zone and no one has touched it since before we got here, we were informed. One of the laundry rooms has also been closed for almost a month, which isnt a big deal since we dont typically have any issues doing laundry in another building. No one can really say when itll be open but the laundry app is super convenient. If you have kids, theres 2 pools but nothing else for them. So theres kids running around screaming a lot.The low rating is to reflect the extremely poor management. Our unit is nice enough for what were paying, but the management really sours the experience, hate to have to say it.
I have never left a review of an apartment but I feel this one is necessary. I called about a week ago to check the availability of a one bedroom unit, I was told they had one available within the next few months which is great. I understand the market is crazy right now and things go quick, which is why my availability is so flexible. I scheduled an in-person tour of their model unit for today. I live on the Westside and my parents who wanted to come with me, they live all the way in Bernalillo. We drove all the way to Tramway, showerd up and walked in to a mask less staff, Despite the signs on the doors asking you to wear a face covering. And then when they asked me what I was there for I told them I had an appointment. And hour before said appointment I got a text message asking me to confirm and then reminding me of the time. I figured everything was set. You can imagine the frustration when the office lady told me they had nothing available and wouldnt know when the next one would even be available. I explained what I had been told, told her about the appointment and even mentioned the text message and she said very rudely well these unites tend to go fast so I dont know what to tell you. I am not upset about the unit being unavailable, I understand these things. The lack of communication is another thing, however. If I would have simply been told they didnt have anything available anymore prior to my arrival, I would have been bummed but ultimately compassionate and move on with my day. Instead, I drove 30 minutes out of my way to a place where I was met with unprofessional people who dont seem to care very much about their possible residents. I just ask and strongly encourage that you dont waste peoples time. If you text me an hour before making sure I am still coming to my appointment, I take that as a sign you dont want me to waste your time. The same courtsey would be expected.I hope you learn from this situation and treat future residents with a little bit more decency because it reflects horribly on your business.
Donna in the Management office was very helpful and very personable to help us lock in our apartment. She kept in touch with me and she genuinely cares for her clients. I can’t say that about our current residence. She went over and above to help us. She answered all of my questions and treated me nice. Again, I can’t get that at my current residence. This place’s property is clean and renovated. When I asked my current residence management office to fix the holes in the apartment flooring for the kitchen and living room, I was told to live with it. I don’t have to do that as of 10/25/21. I recommend working with Jasmine and Donna. You won’t be sorry.
Donna was such an amazing person to help to us on our journey to a new place. Shes friendly, professional, and even though shes super busy. She really makes you feel like youre priority. Were truly blessed to have her help us get everything done in a timely manner. Thank you Donna for being such a beautiful human inside and out.
Great experience all the way around. Quiet, clean, friendly and I feel safe living here. The staff is very helpful at getting all maintenance issues resolved quickly. I love having my own reserved covered parking space!
What you get for the price isnt bad, but I had the worst experience here. They did not have their pipes properly insulated so a pipe busted when I was out of town. The communication was terrible. I would of never know the pipe had busted if it wasnt for the sound on my security system. I heard a maintenance man talking about how severely flooded my place was. My neighbors hit our car and we couldnt enjoy our porch due to a strong weed smell. I could go on and on, but overall I will never come back or refer someone.
If youre wondering why there are a bunch of 4 or 5 star ratings in February - March 2020 time frame, the new management bribed the residents with a Starbucks gift card on 2/24/20 and again on 3/3/20 to leave a positive honest review. I have lived here over 5 years and the current staff is not helpful in addressing issues.The maintenance staff has not been helpful in fixing problems. If you have a problem at night, the emergency maintenance (Cecilio) does not want to be inconvenienced and will tell you hell come in the morning. Also, they tell you theyll come on a certain day to fix the problem and then they delay it. I had to call every day for over a week to check if theyd be able to deal with a problem in my apartment. The overall staff was not great about getting back to me in a timely manner. Very frustrating.I have to use the laundry facilities on site, and there is usually one or two that are obviously broken (as seen in picture) and take WEEKS to fix. The washer in the picture had the door replaced recently so it appeared to be fixed. I had to use it because it was the only washer remaining on a busy Sunday, and it turns out that it still wasnt working properly...the washer wasnt spinning. I have lost a lot of money with washers and dryers not working. If a washer or dryer is not functioning, it should be pulled out of service until fixed or replaced.
Moved in last month and our bathroom sink was flooded. We are still missing a kitchen drawer we were promised, our mailbox keys didn’t work and after handing them back we were told “we will have them to you by tomorrow” and then the next day being told “we will have them to you by tomorrow” and that’s pretty much been going on all week. Now our water heater is broken and after being told yesterday and this morning that someone will be in today, I was just told “we can see if we can have it fixed tomorrow”. I have two young children that need to bathe and I have a job which I need to be clean for, but it’s always tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Highly disappointed by this place.
Definitely not worth living here. Between paying for an apartment that has nothing but maintenance issues and dealing with parking is not worth it. I promise you will be disappointed.

NOW THEY HAVE THE WATER BILL POSTED LATE (PAST DUE) AND WANT IT PAID BEFORE 8/31 EMAIL SENT OUT LAST WEEK BUT CANT THRU PORTAL.APPARENTLY SHE DOESNT HAVE TO HELP ME SO SHE HUNG UP. BEFORE SHE DID I TOLD HER ILL CALL CORPORATE AND EXPLAIN MY ISSUES AND REPORT HER... SHE SAID GO AHEAD!!!!THERE ARE SO MANY ISSUES HERE!!!? IF YOU CONSIDER PRAIRIE HILLS DONT!!!!
Do not live here!!! I’d rather live in a box. Staff is EXTREMELY rude. Maintenance hates to be bothered and it just isn’t a good place to be. Half the air conditioners barley work, the other half don’t work at all. This place is very very bad. Avoid at all costs. Also, almost every negative review has been “marked” or removed. A review I wrote myself was actually taken down along with my neighbors so I will try again. Don’t come here!!!
Prairie Hill Apartments accommodates all of the people living there. They are always quick to fix any type of maintenance problem & the staff are all so friendly. The apartment complex is very spacious and clean. I love the views of the mountains and how I have a lot of storage room. I recommend living at these apartments to have a feel of the true ABQ experience.
Great views, location is perfect if you want to be tucked away yet close to shopping and hiking trails. Property has been getting touched up lately and looking more alive. Staff seems to care and they’re attentive . 24 hour laundry facility is great since I work all day
Maintenance isn’t reliable at all nothing gets fixed Constantly having plumbing issues, for how much rent is I expect to be able to use the toilet and shower....actual poop is being backed up into the tub after every time the toilet flushes apartment smells like sewage this should be high priority but isn’t being resolved completely filthy
While Im sure I have more years here than most of you. Ive been here 18 years starting 19. I have been through a lot of managers and staff. This is a nice place to live. It has been safe and except for a few instances quiet. This is an older building so things do need to be replaced and repaired. I do wish the tenants with pets would respect the property and other tenants more and pick up after your pets. I think the staff is professional. They have policies to follow and laws. As long as they remember we are paying customers who want to be treated respectfully as do they. The grounds are nice and kept up. It is nicely located and the views are awesome. I have had to call security and that was a somewhat bad experience but it was the security business not the management or staffs fault. In closing remember we are 50 % responsible and the complex is 50 % responsible for making this a nice place to live. Lets make sure we are all putting in our half and please Management and staff put in your half...
This property has been great to me, office staff is always so friendly and helpful when I need anything. Very spacious cozy apartment, beautiful mountain view, great shopping in area. I appreciate how awesome my living has been here!

The staff in the office are super helpful and always so friendly. The grounds here are so nice for walks! And a community garden is a nice amenity for an apartment complex. Check out this place and see for yourself.

My husband and I have been treated like royalty throughout the application process. Scott, Matt, and Jessica have been absolutely amazing and walked us through everything. They were always available to answer our questions. We love the cleanliness of the Apartment complex; we love the amenities. Our new apartment is totally upgraded and we absolutely love it!!! Ive been a resident here since September 2017 and I would just like to say that this is the best apartment complex that Ive stayed at. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is quick on work orders and get things done in a professional way. Its just an all around nice and comfortable place to live. I would highly recommend living here. I wasn’t surprised once I saw new faces in the office, however, I order a lot of packages and have become familiar with the staff. Rachel has been sending package texts lately and it’s been great! I also learned how to use the online portal system to pay rent. Also we have been getting pest control and never received it before!! I’ve never had a pest issue but when I pay $2 for the service (which you can request anytime) it’s nice to know the new company comes since new management started. Looking forward to working with the new staff

Price seems reasonable enough for the quality, but unless youre only planning on living here a short time I would highly recommend looking for housing elsewhere. For context, I been living here for over two years now. Like many other reviews Ive read here, the majority of the front desk staff is very rude and unhelpful. We had an incident where they gave us way less than 24 hours notice before entering our apartment for a porch inspection, which is technically illegal and a violation of the lease agreement. When I went down to the front office to politely point this out, the older lady working the desk rudely insisted she had posted the notice the previous day before/at noon. I get home from work at noon/1PM and I am entirely sure that no notice was posted on my door at that time. In addition to this, our neighbors are extremely loud and disrespectful and let their dogs bark constantly, usually well past 9 PM. In fact, it is currently 9:15 PM and I hear their dog yapping away as I write this review. I know the management may have little control over this specifically, but this gives you an idea of the caliber of people who live here. Parking is also a huge problem; if you get home any later then 7PM in a car without an assigned covered parking spot, you can be sure you will have to park on the street outside the gated community and risk a break-in. (if you are super lucky you might find an open spot on the opposite side from where you live!) I gave an extra star specifically for the maintenance staff, who seem very understaffed and overworked and yet remain polite and helpful (though it would be nice if they left a note indicating they entered the apartment while I wasnt home, like I believe they are supposed to but thats just a nitpick). If anyone has read this far, I would really recommend paying a little more if you can to live in a better apartment complex, or shop around for housing somewhere else. You deserve better than this place.
We found our beautiful apartment browsing the Internet in our living room in Montana. We found the ease of the website and the telephone interactions and conversations with Scott to be extremely helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable of the apartment complex, and the Albuquerque area. What impressed me the most, is that Scott was never too busy to talk to me, to explain thoroughly every part of the application process. We found the entire staff; Scott, Matt, and Jessica extremely friendly and outgoing. We love our new apartment that has been completely upgraded. Its fantastic!!! Wish we had made the move earlier.
I’ve lived here for 3 years now and I have never found an apartment this safe, beautiful and peaceful for this price. I love the office staff they are so professional and welcoming to everyone and even remember our names, pet’s names, etc. I would recommend Prairie hills to everyone ☺️

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!! To start off with the manager and district manager have no support to there tenants are extremely rude. They are in the process of trying to force me out because I voiced my concerns about there negative behavior of the current property manager who is a friend of hers and her behavior to the residents who I’m not the only one file complaints and there brushing all our complaints under the rug. In addition they are raising rent to other tenants who are on a fixed income by almost $100 or more a month. Management over the last few months has gone down hill. The gym and other amenities are not able to be used over the last few months and no compensation has been given instead raise rent. When I voiced my complaints about the management I specifically asked to be contacted by someone other then Hope and Melissa who is the Property Manager and District Manager and instead have been told they are trying to force me out because I voiced my issues and complaint and there corporate office did nothing when I voiced the complaints. The only good thing here is Jazzmen Martinez who makes every effort to correct the previous errors and misbehavior that Melissa and Hope display towards us the residents.
Catalytic converter was stolen off my vehicle in front of my appartment last night. Second Time some one has messed with my vehicles . First time was earlier this year and my wifes car was stolen and totaled . Definitely needs better security!! I would definitely recommend GREY STAR COMMUNITY gets VALLEY PROTECTIVE SERVICES !! Maybe some cameras pointing towards the Parking areas and doors of homes .DEFINITELY WANT JUSTICE AND COMPENSATION!!!

IVE RESIDED AT PRAIRIE HILLS APTS. FOR 2-1/2 YRS. NOW. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED THIS COMMUNITY AND THE HARD WORK AND WORKERS THAT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED. THE FIRST YEAR, THE WHOLE COMPLEX WAS REPAINTED, ROOFS WERE REPAIRED, ETC. MY FIRST ENCOUNTER HERE WAS WITH THE GREAT LEASING AGENT FOR WHOM I HAD EVERYTHING IN ORDER AS REQUESTED AND SHE WAS SO HELPFUL & COMPLIMENTARY.THE NEXT BATCH OF STAFF WERE OKAY AT FIRST, THEY UPDATED THE OFFICE AND HAD A COUPLE OF NICEDRAWINGS FOR THE TENANTS.. HOWEVER, AFTER 1-1/2 YEARS OF .NON-COMPLIANCE OF ADA REQUIREMENTS AND NOT LEASING US A HANDICAP-ACCESSIBLE UNIT, THEY LEFT THE PREMISES. GOOD RIDDANCE! THE NEXT MANAGEMENT STAFF WERE MUCH BETTER AND ASSISTED IN THE ADA-COMPLIANCE AND WE RELOCATED TO OUR PRESENT HANDICAP-ACCESSIBLE UNIT--MUCH BETTER. THEY MADE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY AND OUR DUMPSTER AREA, PLUS THE POT HOLE IN FRONT OF OUR PARKING SPACE. MY MAIN COMPLAINT HAS BEEN THE UPSTAIRS TENANTS, WHO ARE SO NOISY & ABUSIVE, FORGETTING THAT THEIR FLOOR IS OUR CEILING. MY HANDICAPPED BROTHER HAS TO WEAR EAR PLUGS, AND YET HE STILL HEARS THE LOUD DRAGGING OF FURNITURE IT SEEMS, PLUS DROPPING HEAVY STUFF AND THE NOISE IS AS IN A BOWL;ING ALLEY! I GET WOKEN UP SOMETIMES AT 1:30a.m. OR 3:00a.m. WITH THE NOISE. I HAVE BEEN VERBALLY ABUSED BY THIS CURRENT UPSTAIRS TENANT AND AFTER CURRENT MANAGEMENT HAS GIVEN THEM COURTESY CALLS, THEY COMPLY FOR AWHILE, PERHAPS 3 DAYS AND THEN THEY START IT AGAIN. THEY ARE STILL ABUSIVE AND DISRESPECTFUL.THE PET DUNG PROBLEM HAS IMPROVED MUCH BUT IS STILL BEING ABUSED..IN CLOSING, ILL SAY THAT UNDER THE CHAMBERLIN, IMPROVEMENT WITH MANAGEMENT. I gave this place 3 stars because I love my apartment however they recently changed staff within the past month and they are such a let down after the previous staff. Ive never received so many passive aggressive text messages or phone calls from any management team thats worked here, including the greystar team. Chamberlain and associates made a huge mistake letting Alexis go. Currently they are focused on uniformity of the patios and only patio furniture is allowed outside. I have never had a problem with my current table and chair set being outside, (its a wooden round table) but theyre claiming its dining room furniture and doesnt comply with their rules. I am 7 months into my current lease and have never been told my patio furniture doesnt comply. So unless they changed the rules and didnt notify anyone of a rule change, they are in violation of their own lease contract.I loved living here all the way up until we got this new management team. Its a shame they changed.Update May 2021: This apartment complex has only gotten worse with new management. Our washer broke in October 2020, it took them until December to come look at it but not fix it. Finally requested they remove it and they didnt have it removed until late January/early February.I have walked into the office for help and even though there are many ladies in the office, no one even acknowledged me because one of them was helping someone sign a new lease.We had a pipe burst this past year and although they came and fixed the leak, they still havent come back to repaint the wall where they patched it.Our living room and master bedroom do not have working light switches and the other two bedrooms and second bathroom have light switches that only work part of the time.Most recently, someone threw two rocks through my kitchen window from the street on a Thursday night. I called right at 0830 Friday morning and literally watched the office as I called, there was no one even there until 0900. When the office finally did answer they told me they would have something scheduled and get back to me later that day. I finally called them again and they told me they would have an answer on Monday. My boyfriend went to go check on the status of the work order only to find out the person I spoke to hadnt told anyone else about the damage and because they contract out window repairs it would be three to four weeks for the repair to take place.I pay $1300 a month for this apartment. I pay $1300 a month to get treated this way.
Run, not walk, to a real gated community. The gate has been broken for over a month now. I have left several messages about it, and it has yet to be fixed. I am paying a lot of money for a gated apartment, and I am not getting it. Not to mention the staff is rude and unprofessional. Prime group will definitely be getting a letter from me. If you are going to charge this much, offer what you say you are. Cars get broken into. The lighting in the carports hardly ever work. Do your research.

I want to say that this has been such a good place to live. I looked at the apartments with Scott hes been amazing. he walked us through the process and we found the process very smooth and friendly.
My wife and I have been living here for close to a year and we love it. The property is gorgeous and well kept and everyone is friendly. We feel very safe and welcome here and plan on making it our home for some time
This is an edited review. The only good thing about the apartment complex, is the maintenance. They come the very next day. This complex has the rudest, most unprofessional three women in the rental office that I have ever encountered. I guess I never noticed because I never had to go in the office much. Eye rolling and very unhelpful staff. Not really a gated community. Once you use your gate key, an unnumbered amount of cars can follow in right behind you. Tenants dont pick up after their pets. Almost every morning I leave for work I walk past dog poop. Spend your money on a real gated community with nicer professional people.
I have lived here over a year First issue I was supposed to get an apartment on the second floor when it was time to move in they no longer had that apartment available but offered me an apartment on the 3rd floor and it will be cheaper I agreed but as soon as my lease was up they raised it and when I called the office and they refused to keep it the same. So it was too late to move but as soon as my lease is up I am leaving because they constantly continue to raise the rent the longer your here. I have had issues with pigeons and they don’t do anything about it. That issue is not here at my apartment anymore but now I have issues with the office staff don’t answer phones I needed my sink and tub unclogged messages left and no response I called the maintenance line no response. Recently we had a bad snow storm they don’t salt or shovel the property I have seen tenants fall it’s ridiculous you think they would care about there tenants more all they want is money not to mention the gates never work it’s supposed to be secured that never happens. I would recommend a different place to live
I had an issue with my toilet leaking from its base and it left water all over my bathroom floor. I told management right away and Miguel came over and fixed the problem under an hour. He was fast, knowledgeable, and very kind. I will be requesting his service for any future maintenance requests.

I had already given a review on these apartments and you might want to read it if you are considering moving in here. Long story short DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!! I would like to add to my review that a little over a week ago my apartment was burglarized! Both my neighbor and myself suffered a break into our apartments. It was definitely an inside job, no doors were broken. I left everything locked including my sliding door with the stick in between the glass to avoid anyone from coming in, someone had to have had a key and know what we had. The people that broke into my apt took their time, they were in here a long while. They searched absolutely EVERYTHING AND EVERYWHERE. It was no stranger to this place and Management has not responded to this situation. TERRIBLE PLACE, I am beyond bothered and feel extremely violated with this incident.
You do not want to live here. The ceiling on my apartment caved in not once, but twice. One other time water seeped its way trough and was visible through the drywall. The first time, a chunk of drywall fell (2ft by 2ft section) almost hit my girlfriend, and hit the highchair where my grandson eats. We lived for a week with a huge hole in the ceiling while hot air poured in from the attic space. The second time the water poured out into the living room, it looked like it was RAINING in my living room!! Patches also fell from the ceiling in other parts of the apartment after that rain. This was two weeks before my scheduled move out. The last two weeks I was there, NO ONE came to inspect the damage and they didnt even show up to the final walk through. The apartment smelled like mold and rot. I was given two buckets and told to Poke holes. They also gave me the number of the number of the people to come and remove the water. I HAD TO CALL!! This place is a nightmare. And guess what? They turned over the apartment pretty quick. I doubt they fixed the cause of the roof leak. After all, they did tell me it was fixed twice before. Good luck and make sure your insurance covers EVERYTHING if you decide to live here.To top it off, I get a call from Laura Molleker to collect money for final move out cost. She needs a class on how to speak to people. She was condescending, rude and she is the one that leaves the final impression. Nice.In response to the reply by the owner: The number for the water damage company was given to me DURING the event, while my apartment was flooding. You have to call them, we are too busy was what I was told. I appreciate the professionalism trying to make it seem like I owe back rent, I dont. I owe unpaid trash and water, which I was expecting. The fixture was removed so I could have an outlet, and put back together so no screws were lost. It was not broken. This would have been noted by you had you shown up for the final walk through. I took an afternoon off from work for that, by the way.

Prairie Hills is a peaceful, well-maintained, safe community ideally located for anything an individual or family needs.
Nice friendly staff,very helpful and answered all of my questiobs.I appreciate the time they took and afforded to me.There wasnt a unit to see right at that moment but I got a run down of what they had,no problem.The only reason for a four star is the parking and wait but other than that an overall good experience.
Chamberlin and Associates proudly displays their logo on the front property of Prairie Hills Apartments but they should be embarrassed. Clearly from the reviews and their staff they’re not a good management company. Everyone at this company lies and is full of empty promises. The property isn’t taken care of like they claim it to be. Here’s my examples of why you should not even consider renting from this company.1. The employees/ maintenance are all rude, very unprofessional and seem to have no customer service experience. Mainly the woman at the front desk with the last name Gonzales. The first time she was rude I thought maybe she’s having a bad day. Second time, still blew it off. But no, EVERY TIME I call or go into the office she’s rude and acts like it’s such a hassle to interrupt what she’s doing to help anyone. I worked in customer service for years and you are ALWAYS supposed to tend to the customer first and tasks second. Her favorite line is “well look into that” but never does. The office closes at 5:30pm, she will be walking to her car at 5:29pm even if she sees the UPS guy unloading the truck. She has no sense of care for others.2. The gates have not been working since the new management has taken over. We pay for a gated community but all the gates are open currently and haven’t closed. People come in the exit only gate, it has almost caused head on collisions. At one point only one gate was open which is an accident waiting to happen and I’m sure goes against fire code.3. The pools didn’t open until the end of July. They kept saying “next week. Next week. We’re waiting for the inspection next week”. Come to find out they didn’t do the proper paper work. Its almost the end of August and the hot tub still isn’t open. If you want the pool clean, you need to do yourself. The sauna won’t be opening ever again. I’m not sure what we’re paying for!? Part of living in an apartment isn’t to be close to your neighbors it’s for the amenities. I don’t feel like we should be charged what we’re paying for because the lack of amenities.4. I was playing with my kids on the grass when two full grown German Shepard’s without leashes, charge my kids. The owner did NOTHING. The complex sent out a letter In small print stating that dogs need to be on leashes, but has never enforced that rule. Owners also never pick up after their dogs, so the whole grass area smells like a dumpster.5. Management sent out a text message that said “refer someone and receive $200 of your next months rent.” As I’m still waiting for them to take $200 off my rent for referring someone two months ago. I want to refer people to things I truly believe in, but there seems to be nothing good to note about this place. Every year it gets worse.This isn’t a one complex problem. Looking at Chamberlin and Associate’s website reviews this is many complex’s they own, they have a 2.8 star rating. And you have to love the all too common comment “I’m so sorry to hear about your experience, please see the office so we can help fix the problem.” How about fixing it the first time and you’d have better reviews, more compliments, and happy tenants.
If I could give this place zero stars I would.This place is absolutely ridiculous. Do not live here. This has been a horrible experience moving here.Management tells tenants a bunch of lies of how well they maintain and will keep their community. Since I moved in back in April, I have asked multiple times for them to clean off my balcony as I have had both pigeon nests, and pigeon droppings all over my balcony. It has gotten so bad myself and including my dog cannot utilize our balcony. Extreme health hazard to myself and my dog. Was told at the beginning they were supposed to purchase nets for the pigeons to stay out, along with my balcony will be cleaned off. Nothing has happened and it is already September!!Was told “ it is my responsibility to clean off my balcony”. Yet I’m renting this apartment, I do not own it. Therefore, I believe that they should take the time to come out and clean my balcony as it is a tremendous health hazard.This place is nonsense and I cannot wait to leave.

The managment is professional understanding kind and effeciant. They made my wife and Is move from washington to here easy, fast and enjoyable. They are generally happy folks and verry good at what they do.We love the clubhouse, swimming pools, and security of the area, especially with the paid security patrols of the complex.
Not sure what ppl are on about: Ive lived here for a year now, and theyve been the most professional, cleanliest, and friendly staff Ive had in albuquerque, ever. Seriously. And Ive rented over 18 places throughout my life in ABQ. Some of the people who were working here were getting replaced as I was moving in, so maybe thats something to do with the other negative reviews. Idk, but maintenance requests are always responsive and they normally fix more than you request. The apartments are nice, too. Neighbors are pretty chill, mostly kept to themselves but friendly when you interact. Honestly, this is a nice place.
I was very disappointed with this community! I had very high hopes but in person it is disgusting. The apartments are very old and still have the original air handlers so Im guessing thats why the smell so bad. The staff tried to mask the smell and it literally didnt help at all- Im surprised this community has even 3 stars- dont be fooled by the 5 star ratings they are probably fake!!!! Dont go here unless you literally cannot afford any other place. I will not be giving my business to another grey star community.
Worst neighbors, newbies be warned. The people who have been here for years dont treat newcomers very well. Especially if you are other (i.e. different) I was visiting my friend there and had my car vandalized just this Monday. The staff was uncooperative in dealing with the issue and I have still heard nothing from them. (My friends upstairs neighbors are the only ones that know what I drive btw) I filed a police report though so, I guess there will be an increase in police presence. They are nice apartments. Greatly exceeding my expectations considering the price. But the place could use a little sprucing up when it comes to the people.
My apartment smells like cigarettes seeping in from my neighbors below me. In the bathroom there was a leak in the sink that we called about 4 times and each time it wasnt fixed correctly and now there is water damage and mold underneath the sink. We have called numerous times about our water heater and it has yet to be fixed, every time we use hot water it makes a terrible noise and the hot water in the shower does not last it gets luke warm after 10 minutes. We had a leak in the ceiling that took at least a month to get fixed. I cant wait to get out of this place!

I called to see how long I can have my storage container dropped off and they only allow 1 day due to the limitation of parking space. I dont have the time on Saturday to unload my stuff and the delivery for my storage container do not operate on Sundays. This is very inconvenient for me and future residents. I will be looking for another apartment that is willing to work with my busy life style. I was going to move here but they are not willing to work with me and if this little inconvenience is a problem with them, then I am sure that there are many more future minor issues they are not willing to solve.
I could write countless things about this horrible place lets just say I would rather live in a holocaust camp. They have the rudest people ever at the front desk, they never want to help you in any way, they charged me twice for my rent in the same day so I had to go dispute one of the rent charges and the next day I got a letter threatening to evict me if I didnt pay! The apartments are ran down with roaches all the damn time and lets not even get started with the security, my car got broken into twice in the same week and the front desk did nothing and told me to not keep stuff in my car, like wow thanks genius ! All in all dont live here ! Find yourself a new place 😡

These facious pigs will straight up lie to your face to make a quota, and will then tell you that you can write to the company that does their screening. All while they rip you off for the application fee etc. There vile misconduct and fraudulent means to obtain money is very disgraceful. These people have no morals or dignity, and lack self respect for themselves and others! If you become victim to thier bullshit and games, report them to the New Mexico Attorney General office, dont let them take your hard earned money do something about it, if we all force the same issue they have to give in and tell the truth sometime
These are the first apartments I ever lived in. Its one of the nicer ones in the area (thats why I decided to rent here!) but unfortunately there are extremely way too many roaches. Its disgusting,I moved from edgewood and there was never a single roach in my parents house. Forget about sleeping in! The landscapers are here 3 times a week and they mow the lawn and blow leafs at 7 am in the morning. Its extremely disturbing and it interrupts my sleep. The gates are worthless they add no security since anyone in the apartments north of these can jump down from their parking lot into ours. Ive had my car broken into here and people here feel like they can walk into your apartment whenever they feel. Weather your there or not. I was sleeping one morning and I heard my door open and I walked out to the hall and there was a strange man fixing the carpet with my front door wide open. I could have been naked for all I know. This man broke into my privacy and ever since then I dont feel safe here. I literally have nightmares people walk into my apartment at night and I feel endagered. Also if you plan on extending your contract after the year they raise your rent significantly. The maintance staff is highly un prepared and un profesional, every time I ask to get something fixed they come in for 2 minutes and do a half ass job and things break again. Good luck people this is my personal and unfortunate experience.

Apartment smelled like cigarette smoke to the point where you could hardly breathe, carpets were dirty, un-vacuumed, stained, and had shards of glass embedded along the wall. Bugs (ants and cockroaches mostly) everywhere. No washer/drier unit inside the apartment as was promised. No wifi in clubhouse area. Scratched walls and doors look like they havent been serviced since they were built. Faucet in one of the showers wont turn off until youve spent 10 minutes tuning it back after being turned on. Blood/Paint? splatters on bathroom cabinets. No night manager, manager leaves after 5 on weekdays, 4 on sundays. Complaints met with an Im sorry about that but no attempts to fix anything. No microwave. No lights in bedrooms. Outlets flaky.It honestly looks and smells like nobody has ever cleaned it, and they wouldnt let us see our unit before we had signed the contract.This apartment complex is disgusting.

Neighbors are not really friendly there is dog poop all around,Parking issue are bad, laundry room is bad clothe where stolen, almost every thing is broken in the gym nothing works but yet you are paying high price to live here. Im not renewing my lease Im so glade to be leaving...
If I could give this place no stars I would! This is the biggest dump Ive ever had to live in and not to mention they cant fix repairs worth a damn, they start you off at a price for your monthly rent and bump it up every single month! Such a huge scam and cruddy place! Beware!!
