Been living here for 8 months now, liked it because it had gates for security, but the entrance has only worked like for a month or two the most out of the 8 months. So basically anyone can enter the property. Pool is continued to be closed. Mailboxes are in bad condition, roaches are definitely present. Manager does give attitude and has been rude in previous occasions. Feel like no real solutions are given, had the emergency fire alarm go off once and lasted like 2 hours and recieved no info of what was happening neither that night or the day after from management. Definitely looking already for another place to get out as soon as my lease is over..

I’ve live here for 13 years I moved here because the the owner and the workers was very nice caring to the Residents who live there. Since the new owner they are rude we have asked for supplies haven’t got them my air has no vent dust cover the apartments are over Populated with roaches and they don’t give people a warning when they tow your property off we have had coworkers tell us they hope we can afford to live here after bumping up the rent you can’t charge someone a $1000 dollars and not deal with a roach problem they won’t even fix the mail boxes this place don’t care about the people only the money wouldn’t recommend plus it’s right next door to to the ghetto if you know Albuquerque not for a $1000 villa del sol ll is really not the place if your looking for things to be done and professional and caring.

If there was a way to put negative stars I would theres a lady and I use that term loosely named Tina that is supposed to be the building manager is very rude and confrontational, shes very unprofessional and needs to be put in her place shes a manager in one of the least attractive parts of town, and her job is customer service ..DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT ROACHES AND RUDE EXPERIENCES

I lived at Canyon Ridge Apartments for 5 years and only recently moved because I bought a house. The staff is really friendly and the maintenance guys get work orders done within a couple of days. The place is quiet for the most part and I didnt have any problems while I lived here.

When I did the initial appointment to see the display apartment, I was very pleased. The complex was quiet and seemed family friendly. Management informed us that apartments are drug free with no loiters and that pest control stay on top of spraying apartments. Unfortunately they never walked me to the units located closer to Central which is where they moved us into. First off I have 2 kids, one of them being a new born. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors talking at a normal tone. I cant even keep my oldest childs window cracked at night due to the constant arguing from neighbors below and people off Central who get drunk and use drugs on the premise. Which Ive told management and nothing has been done. My apartment is roach infested and has bedbugs. Finally I started asking tenants if they had the same problem and most of them said yes. When I went to let the manager know about this she was rude, and did not seem to care. The office seems to always be closed and answers are never given. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.

Horrifying. If at all possible do not move into this apartment complex. Cockroaches galore. Ac doesnt work in two different Apts I had there. First apt no ac and tons of dead and alive Cockroaches. Second one was nice to look at no roaches but no ac either. The owner is mean as a snake as is the manager. Sincerely kandis

If you are considering moving into the Canyon Ridge Apartments, my recommendation is DONT!!!!! Although the complex has some positives, there are way more negatives. We lived here just shy of 30 months and it was a horrible experience. The units are large and spacious with central air and lots of storage space but thats it. Unless you enjoy roach infestations, occasional vandalism, drug addicts and loud noise, youll be sorry. Our four unit building had 9 different neighbors during our time here. Some stayed long term, the majority moved in and were evicted within 90 days. The worst part however were the roaches. If you left dishes out at night, by morning youd be swarming. Even found them swimming in my coffee pot. After we moved, we discovered our coffee pot had become a nest and we had to throw it away. They crawl on rags and through towels. Use that towel inadvertently and they crawl on you. Once woke up in the middle of the night with roaches crawling on us. Nothing worked on them. Not even regular pest control provided by the complex. The vandalism is atrocious. My wife had the tire stolen off her car in the middle of the night. Her car was literally left on bricks. Next would be the odors. When any of the neighbors are using drugs, the odor seeps into the apartment through the shared ducting. My daughters room smelled like dog pee during the summer. Furthermore, the carpets are destroyed. Youll likely stab your feet on carpet tacks sticking through. Even witnessed maintenance replace the padding under the carpet and reinstall the worn out carpet in the unit next to us. The pool is dirty and freezing with rude children swinging ropes and hitting people in the face. The playground had used drug syringes and broken glass in the sand. We once found a baby alone in soiled diapers. Luckily CYFD came for him. Security if thats what they are was called regularly and police presence isnt uncommon. Some of the tenants are rude. Others are just trying to survive. I feel sorry for them being stuck in this situation. It was just an absolutely awful experience. Its certainly not worth 700 dollars a month. Its barely worth the subsidized rates we were charged. The only reason we stayed as long as we did is because I was a student and my wife stayed home with the baby. Its all we could afford. As soon as I finished my bachelors degree and landed a quality job, we packed up and left. My recommendation is to do your homework and consider your options before deciding on this place. If necessity demand you live here, stay long enough to get back on your feet and get out. I wish you luck.

I have lived at the Canyon Ridge Apts. for over 3 years now and I have had a few problems with people, who literally will steal the patio furniture and plants rightoff of your entry! I have never allowed the pest control into my apt. because I buy my own bug spray! I make sure that I keep the pests under control! I have never had bedbugs, but I have heard that complaint from people who were getting evicted! My neighbors have roaches and they really dont spray the apts. Unless you put in a request! Thats another reason I spray my own apt.! I can see how roaches would be a problem if you expect once a month spraying to be the solution! My suggestion is that they bomb the entire complex at the same time, that way if there is an infestation in a bldg. The tenants can see for themselves if its the apts. or their house keeping skills! Lol!! My biggest beef is that pets are allowed with a pet fee deposit but the pet owners dont clean up after their huge huskies and pitbulls!! I am constantly cleaning up after other peoples dogs because they seem to think that its ok to leave the mess for the lawncare workers!! The managers are for the most part unhappy with their jobs! They never smile, spend their time on the phone most of the time! And it seems that the office is always closed at the most inconvenient times!! They seem to relish their power and are quick to let you know that!! The old manager Luz was a real sweetheart! This new manager always throws out fyi that her husband is a police officer as a means to intimidate and imply that she has the law literally on her side! If they would inspect the apts. Personally I am sure that the problems that I mentioned would be resolved faster if they were the tenants! It is true that you can hear thru the walls! I hear my neighbors baby cry thru the vents as well as arguments etc.! Overall I rate these apts. A Huge 4 and would reccommend these apts. To anyone who is looking for decent housing!!
