I got my nails done a week ago and they did a very good job I love them

Was very happy to get a full set of acylic nails for the 1st time since the pandemic hit Oregon. My nails looked awful prior to coming in (from doing my nails myself and experiencing a reaction from gel products) and I was able to get an immediate appointment, & came away with beautiful nails to cover up the damage underneath, and a sweet touch of nail art, all at a reasonable price! Most definitely will return for more of their services. Very Happy Customer! 😊

Pretty from far away but a mess up close! Bubbles every where and the polish is grossly uneven, at that point I should have done it myself. I went with my sister in law and friend. They charged us all very differently for the same thing, basic acrylics, when their price on the wall says $45. Im not sure how that works but felt like a rip off and as if they were adding their own tips to the price. Also to mention my sister in laws cuticles were cut up and she saw her nail tech use the same tools on the next person that the nail tech used on her. Anyway, my bad experience but just a heads up! If you decide to go I hope your nails turn out and your experience is wayyy better better mine.

My husband and I chose pedicures. I chose their Deluxe with Shellac and my husband the Basic. Our experience was wonderful. This was our first pedicure after the pandemic and we had gremlin toes. The staff of Excellent Nails carefully groomed our feet, they were professional, sanitary, gentle. The massage chair was a bonus. Now we have summer feet and we are ready to hit the beach. Thank you Excellent Nails. 🌻 Make appointment, they staff here is in high demand for a good reason....*** Cash Only Business.***They do have an ATM but it charges a $2.50 fee.

Called made a appointment . Got there early picked out my colors . First time having a guy do my nails he did a good job .I asked about the brow waxing when he was done with my nails they got me right in to see Elizabeth she was so good . I will be going back.

I love the service here. I get my acrylics done by Tracy and she’s quick and efficient and they always look amazing. It’s easy to get an appointment and they have a lotof options for everything!

Got my eyebrows waxed by Elizabeth. She did an amazing job. Very quick too and very precise. Very very happy. Prices were excellent as well. Bring cash or be prepared to use their atm :)

I had my nails done 2 days ago.. pick my daughter up an my pinky nail snapped off am they wouldnt repair it for free, considering how much I pay for them I am furious!!! The nail shouldnt have snapped just from picking my kiddo they are incredibly thin....

I had a app at 6 pm they sat me in a chair turned on water and ignored me for 35 min then came over rushed as fast as they could the whole time pedicure took 15 min in total I don’t even feel I got one it’s horrible. They run back and forth like they only have 10 min per customer so they can squeeze in more people it’s horrible service I’ll never be back definitely go to pretty nails in north Albany so amazing they take there time and their friendly it’s very nice

Ive yet to find a decent place to get a pedicure. Loved my nail salon in Mesquite, Nevada. Cant find anyone close to them

Very busy, no nonsense, but a quick efficient pedicure. Looks nice, and the only improvement Id offer is warmer water for the foot bath, but I like really warm.

I got a pedicure here today and I will not be going back because Elizabeth CUT ME, then put polish over top of the cut BURNING me. It’s been about 30 minutes since I got them. I was looking at the cut and it’s still bleeding and burns. I will never be coming back here ever!!!!!!!!! She did not wait in-between the coat of base coat and only put one coat of nail polish. It’s not even been a week and over half of the polish has come off. She also over charged.

I asked for a gel front tip. I got a base coat and a top coat and when I attempted to explain that there was supposed to be polish also he said oh no no. I won’t be returning to this salon. Now only a week later and the gel polish had been chipping and coming off. Never have I had gel nails that didn’t even look good a week after being done! This is the worst salon I have ever been to! Please beware

It was a nice experience. Booking an appointment is recommended, I believe they take walk ins. (COVID MAY PLAY A FACTOR)This isnt my usual spot but I went with friends and the 3 of us where pleased with the service received. My sister spent her gift certificate there, her nails look horrible and uneven, the shape is horrible, they cut her nails the length they wanted saying ‘since you only have 45$‘ wich I’m sorry but I have got my nails done very long multiple times and there pretty long before u get to the ‘add 5$‘ spot . The lady was very rude and unprofessional and was not willing to help my sister fix her nails . These people are awful and don’t do a good job . I’m so confused on why they are constantly packed . When they tend to over book all the time . Never going there again .

I do not like the fact that the technicians do not even really talk to you at all its not the best customer service in that respect. However their nail work is quick well done but I had problems with communication on my color and what I wanted with my French tips and was pleased but it was not what I wanted, four stars nonetheless because they do an excellent job

Lonnie is amazing! She was so calm and friendly and made me feel so relaxed. I travel the country for work and Im on my feet in heels alot so pedicures are a must and often but she by far gave me the best i have ever had she was so good I came in 2 separate days to see her!!! They did a decent job on the mani and pedi.. I will recommend verify the price 1st! Before u get anything done.. based on reading the sign.. mine should have been 65.. the 1st gal told me 75.. but when it came time to pay.. they charged me 85.. so verify the work being done and the price before hand.. just to be safe. Other than that it was a great experience.

Terrible service. I called and scheduled my appointment for later that day. When I arrived I don’t think they had me on their books. I had to wait a half hour. While I waited they handed me a book and told me to pick a color. I don’t get my nails done very often and so I am not an expert. I did not ask for gel polish. They proceeded to start my acrylics. The whole time the guy was doing my nails he took phone calls and talked with the people coming into the salon. I felt like he was so distracted and did not focus on me as a client. I then had my pedicure done before they painted my acrylics. Pedicure was fine but I then had to wait another half hour before they painted my nails. This was a birthday present and the whole process was unpleasant. When I went to pay it was more than I expected. When I asked why he said it was due to the gel polish. I did not ask for gel. I choose a color out of the book he handed me. So not only did I have to wait a long time but also got charged for something I did not ask for. Terrible service. Don’t recommend

I always enjoy coming here, I mostly just go for pedicures cause they have the massage chairs that I love! They seem very clean and well organized. But if you’re wanting a super relaxing spa atmosphere I wouldn’t suggest them. Overall they are really great!!

Well trained staff! Things run smoothly even though people have no appt. The flow is steady with staff helping one another . Elizabeth is extremely efficient. She knows her customers likes and dislike. She offers color and style suggestions.

Everytime I come here I’m always let down, I’ve had 3 different people from here do my nails and each time they try pressuring me into getting things I don’t want. My nails turn out horrible. Even when I try and tell them how I want it they agree and say oh ya we can do that and I NEVER get what I ask for. I try so hard to like this place and it never works.

Amazing job with designs and shaping nails

My fingernails were shaped and polished beautifully. The atmosphere was relaxing. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable. They have a wide range of nail colors, especially gel nail colors. They do not accept credit cards so make sure to bring cash with you. There is a nearby cash machine at the mall food court, but I prefer to take out the cash without a fee.

I have been coming to Anna @ Excellent Nails for almost 20 years. Always pleasant, does an awesome job & I seldom, if ever, have had any breakage. I always recommend her to anyone who compliments me on my nails. And I do get a lot of compliments.

I went here with my mom and we both loved it! It was fast but neatly done. There was not wait so we got in right away. $18 for gel nails. Love it! One of my friends got gel as well and my other friend got acrylics and they both look great! The only downfall to this place is it doesn’t take card so make sure you bring cash.

I love it there! They are always so sweet and they do a great job! I usually go for pedicures and i am always satisfied. Their nail art is always great and their foot and leg massages make me almost fall asleep every time! Also very reasonable prices!

Place was dirty. Ants where crawling around the table space. He used a cold, wet rag under my hand that had at least five different colors from different imbedded in it. Kept going super fast hurting me. Barely spoke English. Cash only. Never going back.

I love how attentive all the employees are, and the owners are difinatly one in a million. Super Kind and sweet. If you are unhappy, they go the extra mile/miles to make it correct so you walk out happy!❤️ Could t ask for better service and I will ALWAYS get my nails done here!!!

The people that work here are incredibly rude. Sat in a chair while an employee asked my mother if she was my grandmother, she then went on to chastise her about “how her legs look”. My mom has PID, she can’t help the way her legs look. Also, saw 2 different times people drop tools on the floor, pick them up and continue using them on customers. Whoever said this place is “clean” doesn’t pay attention. Furthermore, the work done here is horrible. You might be able to get in for an appointment today, but will be coming back multiple times for it to be fixed or repaired. Never ever go here.

I moved to Albany four years ago! Thats when I found Excellent Nails! They are great! Ming and his wife run a clean and sanitary shop. They take pride in every customer that enters there establishment. Fun and friendly. Its a joy to know them. Thanks for your service. I would be lost without them!

First off, they do not listen to what you want. Just hustle you through like cattle. My nails looked awful. They were a lot longer than I had requested, not to mention how crooked a majority turned out. On a lot of them, you see my original nail, they did a poor job of fitting the tip on my nail. Then she added so much acrylic, it looked as though I had bubble nails. I had to come home & fix them so they looked half way decent. I know I will not be returning, nor will I recommend that place to anyone !

I had a younger gentleman do a full set of acrylics on myself & my little sister & I was extremely satisfied. I got my moneys worth & some. No exaggeration, my nails stayed on for 7 WEEKS! I am very rough on my hands, mostly from working on the car, electrical work, & some cleaning & I was not the least bit careful with my fresh nail work. I am planning to go back to him again because he knows whats up & does a killer job!

The people, the service, the atmosphere, the proficiency...all are stellar! I drive three hours, each way, in order to get my nails done there. Have been a regular customer for over twenty years. I HIGHLY recommend Excellent Nails to anyone wanting manicures, pedicures, or any of the other services offered there. A+

I have been here several different times (you always get someone different) for both pedicures and full sets. While it is convenient since you can usually walk in even during peak times, the service and quality of work have never been great. I wouldnt recommend unless you are desparate.

If this site did not make me mark a star before a review I would not have given them anything. This is a horrible place to go! I brought my granddaughter, daughterIn law and son for what I thought would be a relaxing pedicure, was I wrong! They kept trying to sell more services, they didnt take all of my old polish off, the chairs functions were broke and the water freezing. I would tell them but they only talked to someone else and ignored us. My daughter in law did not even get lotion put on her legs, what a disaster.

Rude people. I Took my 94 year old client here to get her nails done. The kept telling her to not move, (she is old) movement happens. Painted her nails the wrong color, got upset when she smudged one. Then said cash only and charged $2 more than price listed becuase she moved a lot!! Wont be back...ever!

Owners are horrible. My Girlfriend and I have been going to this salon for about 9 Months and have had good service from Tony, Elizabeth and the two Brothers (don’t know the names of these 2). Owners are always talking over at employees when they are trying to talk with customers and make it a friendly environment. The last straw for us was today 5/9/19 when my girlfriend and her daughter went in to get fills and enjoy time together for Mothers day and they ended up 8 min late and the owner told them sorry we can only do 1 of you as you are 15 min late. Really from loyal customers on Mothers day weekend. Well Excellent nails you have lost 2 loyal customers and will tell anyone who ask not to go to your salon. Workers we had are great especially Elizabeth but Owners are the rudest of people and only care about $$$$ no loyalty to return customers.

Well I made an appointment over a week in advance for me, my sis and mom in law. They were running behind which was fine but they didnt tell me that it was cash only so I had to spend $5 getting cash at the ATM and we were all separated when I made it clear it was important for us to sit together since it was a gift for my mom in law. . I wont be going here ever again.

Never get your eyebrows done there. They don’t listen to you and will literally take off all of your hair. I’ve tried to see 2 different people there in hopes that the first person was just a bit unskilled. None of them know how to wax. I have never had such a bad brow job and I feel extremely insecure.

My friend and I had pedicures at Excellent Nails and the customer service was very poor. They weren’t friendly at all. When they were painting my toes they messed them up and acted mad that it happened. I would not recommend them ever. They also took the samples of colors from my friend and said I’ll bring them back in a minute. I wouldn’t take my dog to have his toes done there.

Ana did an amazing job!! Everyone there does. I’m very happy with my nails every time I leave Excellent Nials! I would definitely recommend this nail salon to people looking around for a place to get their nails done.

Getting a mani/pedi is supposed to be relaxing but this place’s service is run like it’s cheap fast food. They just try to rush customers in and out and don’t care at all about customer service. They haven’t done a good job any of the three times I’ve gone there; my nails haven’t been clipped evenly/neatly, the polish looks bad, the chairs aren’t comfortable, the staff push you to get services you don’t want and act like they don’t understand you when you decline. I realize most of the staff don’t speak English (which is fine) but, I know they know the word “no” so it’s irritating to keep repeating myself. The staff are never friendly at all and generally seem to hate being there. And, they only take cash. I’ve never seen a sign in there that states they are cash only but you get informed at the very end so you get to dig around in your purse with your newly, poorly polished nails. It’s literally the worse nail salon I’ve ever been to. If they had any nearby competition they’d be out of business quickly.

They are the best in Albany. Tony Lee is really good at eyebrows. And his nails are really good work.

I have been a customer of Excellent Nails since they first opened up some 18 years ago. If anyboby can write a review I can. Anna and her team are one of hardest working teams and pride themselves with good quality work. They havent been in busy this long if they didnt. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is EXCELLENT. Good luck to another 18 years!

Walking off the street get a mani-pedi or full set of nails they can always attend to your needs and the prices are great and I hear theyre going to remodel soon that just makes it even better

So I have gone there twice. The first time I had Christina and I liked how thick my acrylic was but I asked for almond shape yet they were half way almond. Then I asked for glitter and she was very rude to me saying You picky! For $50 a set Im not picky.The 2nd time I had Jimmy the owner and my nails have bumps in the acrylic and are different shapes on each hand.

I get my nails done regularly at Excellent Nails. I request Leena each time. She does a great consistent job. She is always willing to try new ideas.

Me and my friends went, and they thought we don’t know what they were saying, but we clearly knew. She was getting mad at us for no reason, until someone told her why she was doing this. Just recommending not to go, I regret going there, I just wasted my money.

It’s extremely frustrating when you call and schedule an appt to ensure you can get in at a certain time especially when you have scheduled things later and they NEVER start your scheduled service on time they appear to take walk ins and not think twice about who is scheduled making an appt here is pointless they don’t follow the scheduled appts anyways

First of all, they charged me 40$ for a full set of acrylic nails with regular nail polish (not gel), because I wanted them a little longer. Second, the nail polish was extremely uneven and there were air bubbles in it when it dried. The nails were not even lengths either, for example the middle finger nail on the left hand was much shorter than the one on the right hand. They don’t tell you that it’s cash only, nor do they have an ATM. The nail tech was kinda rude about me asking to shape my nails longer and coffin shaped. Worst experience at a nail salon and I will not be back.

Ana always does an amazing job and I am never dissatisfied with her work or the treatment I receive. I recommend going to her she is the best !

Would get a better rate but I went for full set the sign said $30 but I was charged $40 no extras, not sure why.
