I have been going to Nikki for over 10 years, and she always takes great care of me. Tina and the other women in the shop are fantastic too. Im happy to make the trip out Central Avenue every 3-4 weeks, because its 100% worth it!

Ive been getting my nails done for a long time now about 6 years of acrylics and i went to this salon and they ruined my nails . My nails werent fully painted, there were bubbles in the paint, a bunch of indents, glue lines along the rhinestones and overall terrible ! It looked like i still needed a fill.. my nails were uneven all different lengths and when i tried to ask for her to fix them i got a hard time, and then she began to be rough while doing them. When i came home and noticed all the details fully i tried to come back, not even 24 hours later and they were all so rude. All of the technicians started arguing with me at once and even encouraged a client getting her nails done to chime in. Very unprofessional, rude, and BAD work.

This is definitely the only place I trust to get my nails done! The sisters are so welcoming and amazing to my mother and I every time we go. I got ANC glow nails last time and I love them!!(Wish I could add a photo of them but Google wont let me)

Walkins welcome but no accepted..tried to make apt 2 hrs early sorry cant help come back tomorrow.. called early in the day... we will never go or recommend

There’s a sign on the door that says walk ins welcomed. Only 2 ppl in the salon and 1 of them was getting their nails done and the lady doing them ask me can I come back next week because they’re busy... I will not being back. But don’t go there as a walk in!!! You will waste ur time

Very disappointed in the French gel manicure I received yesterday. To start, all the files and buffers were used. The tech didnt have me wash my hands in between filing and buffing, making a very bumpy surface. When I looked at the final result, which is clearly uneven on all of my nails, the nail tech said there was nothing she could do. As a licensed nys cosmologist, who normally does my gel at home, I was looking to treat myself and was highly unsatisfied. Never again. The name 5 star nails is extremely ironic.

I love it there my daughter and I goes together to get our nails done the ladys there is very friendly always willing to help you out.So yeah I gave a five star cause I love going there.Wont go nowhere else ....😁😁😁😁

The salon was dirty; nail polish splattered on the walls and floor, broken booths, and the massage chairs had fabric worn off. My tech was really nice and did a good job on my pedi. However, my friends tech buffed her foot so hard that she took skin off and left an abrasion. My friend had to stop her to point out the blood running down her foot. The tech apologized and applied what we assumed to be an antiseptic solution, but no discount or otherwise was offered. Wont be returning.

Beware, this place closes at 5pm not 7pm. And the employees will inform you rudely when you walk in the wide open door at 5:30pm.

Update: 2/20 owner is unprofessional after a disagreement where she messed up my appointment. After the disagreement owner was rude and extremely inconsiderate of my time. Have a loyal customer for years and honestly it was so shocking her behavior. I suggest you go somewhere else.They moved from Pro Star Nails to 5 Star Nails and as a loyal customer I followed.

My family will never go to Five Star nail salon again!!!! My husband took our daughter to get her nails and feet done, not even 5 hours later all the nail polish was off. I took her back the next day around noon and the people were beyond rude. I asked the girl( she is young with glasses) to repaint my daughters nails and she refused to and said it was my daughters fault the nail polish came off. Now my daughter has been getting her nails painted at a salon since she was 3years old and is 8. At one point she even started yelling at me and stating that my husband should already know that the nail polish my daughter picked out peels off. Smh is so sad that this is the kind of Business they are running. P.S. I couldnt even post this without choosing at least one star, that I dont even think they should have!
